Derryl started to become painfully aware of Echo's leg wrapped around one of his own as he watched her expressions change in the slightest. The werewolf could not move away if he wanted to, not with that leg wrapped around him, ruining any kind of balance that didn't have to do what they obviously had in mind before Rhianu cut through their actions with that howl of hers. Rex was horribly confused, he had the faint idea that he could feel Echo's heart beat for a moment, although vampires weren't supposed to have heartbeats. He probably would have gently set his hand on her chest to check for that non-existent heartbeat, if he wasn't afraid of the repercussions at that moment. The silly boy was still stuck in a state akin to a deer being caught in the headlights, that was until he heard Echo call his name. Just that one syllable did wonders to break him out of the 'I-dunno-what-to-do' phase. He took a step back with his free leg, pulled his hands away from the tree and turned away from her, easily releasing his leg from hers as he stomped a few steps away, having his back turned towards her. "Derryl! Are you okay, what happened to you?" He sighed lightly, hearing yet another howl come from the edge of the woods near the mansion. He tossed a glance at Echo over his shoulder, one that betrayed none of the thoughts or emotions he was having, then turned his head towards the sky, letting out a darker, more somber howl that overlapped the first, soon his was the only one heard fading through the trees.

Rhianu had been standing at the door-way, already worried about her twin after she felt a sharp pain in her head, but she was content on waiting to see what happened. That was until she suddenly couldn't feel his presence at all, it was as if their connection had been completely severed, which had never happened before. She waited a few seconds before panic set in and she let out a furious howl to see if he would respond. Even though other wolves from the mountains, or even other family members might respond instead, she was listening for only one response. So when she didn't hear it she swung her legs over the ledge of the window and lowered herself, digging her claws into the brickwork, and kicking off her shoes so that she could use her toes to climb down the edge of the Black manor. Watching her, one would think that she had had a lot of practice doing that. When she reached the ground she pulled her flats back on and ran towards the edge of the forest, stopping and letting out another howl. By now she could feel his presence again, but she was still completely clueless. So she stood there, practically hyperventilating as she stood at the edge of the forest, for some reason unwilling to go in. Her heterochromia eyes were searching beyond the treeline frantically. "..Derryl..." The third time she called for him she heard a response, and felt far too relieved to hear it. She let out a heavy sigh, smiling.

Derryl sighed, hanging his head and shaking it lightly, he could feel the relief from his twin and decided that it was a good idea to head back to the mansion ASAP just so that she wouldn't tear the forest apart looking for him. He turned to look at Echo, his eyes seemed oh so sad. "Echo.." He didn't know what to say, he was torn between whether to make sure she was okay, maybe apologize and brushing it off in his usual, very grumpy manner raving about his dislike for vampires. He decided to choose the latter, his expression changed again, his eyebrows furrowing. "You're still a stupid blood-pixie." As if to reassure himself of that, he turned and started jogging away from her, towards Rhianu.

Echo lowered her leg, no longer having it wrapped around Derryl's own leg as he moved away, pressing her back further into the trunk of the tree. The ends of her fingers kept the shirt from raising, pulling it down on it slightly as her eyes stayed on the werewolf, even if he wasn't staring back at her. As he gave out his own howl, Echo inwardly flinched at how loud the sound was, having sensitive ears and all. A soft breeze blew passed them and the young vampire could smell Rhianu's scent that was filled with worry and concern. She turned her head lightly face towards the direction of the Black mansion but snapped her head back as soon as she heard Derryl speak her name. But her eyes narrowed in slight agitation as he heard him say she was still a stupid blood-pixie and she went almost all out when he started to jog away from her. Of course, Echo was cursing at herself in her mother language about how she was stupid to believe that she had feelings for the werewolf and about how she could allow herself to even open up the slightest to the boy. "And you're still a stupid pup." Though she spoke it in a low tone, there was a hiss to it as she lifted one of her pale hands, her fingers twitching just the slightest as a fallen branch from a nearby tree was psychically thrown at the fleeing Black. Whether it hit him or not, Echo did not stay put to find out and gracefully jumped onto a branch close by her, heading back to her own home, using the longer route. Hopefully while she was jumping from branch to branch in the quick, ballerina-esque manner of hers, her heart would return back to its original, lifeless beating and her mind would be cleared of whatever thoughts she was having towards Derryl Rex. A vampire never falls in love with a werewolf; It just isn't done.

He glanced back when he heard a noise just behind him, he saw a branch on the ground, but decided to think nothing of it as he came up to Rinu, slowing down. "What's up?" His twin's expression went from that of delight and relief to that of disbelief and agitation. "What do you mean 'What's up'?! What happened to you out there.. Is that blood? Where's Echo?!" She asked the out of place questions as soon as she caught scent of his own blood and then a very strong scent of Echo on him. She had raised her fist to hit him until she noticed the blood, and instead grabbed him by the shoulders and whirled him around to see the blood that was staining the back of his black shirt, and that had matted his hair. The wound had healed already, werewolves were lucky to have quickened immune systems, fast healing, etc etc. Derryl grumbled at being handled so roughly, Rhianu preceded, from seeing the blood, to sniffing out the scent of Echo on him. When she was standing in front of him again he quirked an eyebrow at her and she punched him painfully in the shoulder. "Why wont you answer me?!" From agitation to anger, he growled at his younger twin, putting his face in hers. "Because Nothing. Happened." She had tears in her eyes, and her hands were balled into fists. "You're lying! Why are you bleeding if nothing happened, and why is my friend's scent all over you?!" Again he didn't answer her, just turned around and started to stalk off towards the mansion. "Derryl!?" Tears were streaming down her cheeks again, sending a thin black river down them. She wiped away the tears as best she could, then stomped the ground. Agitated and concerned. He didn't always tell her things but when she was this upset he usually told her the truth. She looked towards the forest, sniffing the air, but the wind wasn't working to her favor. So she walked along the edge, sending out a mental message to her friend. "Bella, are you okay..?" It was frustrating to not have a clue what was going on. Obviously Echo and Derryl had run into each other. But why would Derryl go anywhere near Echo if they were both in the forest. In a huff she turned on her toes and ran back towards the mansion, tackling her brother from behind, who face planted. "Gerroff.." Rinu sat on his lower back, holding the back of his neck like one would do a puppy. "After you tell me what happened." Rinu had her brother pinned whether or not Echo responded/was responding. Now Derryl could shake Rhianu off if he really wanted to, but he wasn't honestly in the mood to get into a physical tousle with his sister.

It did not take the young vampire long to return to her home, since with her small physique meant more speed. One of the windows to her room was always remained open, so having to use the front doors of her home wasn't an option for her. And neither having to scale the side of the building. Each window had small railings underneath it, so she was able to jump from railing to railing until she climbed through her window. "Bella, are you okay..?" Echo stopped as soon as she received that mentally concerned question. She lifted her emotionless eyes to the ceiling before responding. "Your brother followed me when I went out to hunt." Was all she said before striping off all her clothing, stepping into her personal bathroom to take a much needed shower. Possibly to get rid of some of Derryl's scent on her skin. Her room was filled with stuffed toys of all kinds, as well as dolls, and her furniture, as well as her bathroom, was designed with dark colors; Mostly black with multiple shades of blue and silvery-white. Stepping back into her room, wrapped in nothing but a towel, she dressed in black and white short dress. It was no surprise that most of Echo's dresses were skimpy on normal height females. Being small did have its positives. And that was when it hit her. Echo had left her stuffed toy, Momo, back in the Black manor. Sighing and cursing under her breath, out the window she went, unfortunately headed back to the werewolves' den, a place that she wished to avoid at that moment.

You could consider Rhianu insane and you would probably be right. When she got the mental response from her dear vampire friend, Echo, Rhianu gave the vampire a brief "Okay." Before she turned her attention back to her brother, her twin even. Whom she believed should tell her what had happened out in the forest instead of avoiding the questions and being so distant. "Derryl, why are you bleeding?" Again she tried the same questions, although this time she had his cheek pressed into the ground and she was sitting with one of her knees digging into his spine. What a wonderfully loving sister. Yet Rex only sighed deeply. "Why won't you answer me?" Again there was no answer. Rhianu was worried beyond belief, not only that but she was very irritated. Rex rarely was so determined to keep his mouth shut. So she grabbed his shoulder roughly and rolled him over onto his back so that she could now sit, both of her hands pinning down his arms. She was met with that usual, plain and grumpy expression. "Where did Echo go?" He shrugged lightly, "How should I know?" There was a small spray of dirt next to his face, and yet he didn't flinch or even glance over at the fist that was now planted into the earth next to his head. "Because her scent is all over you! Why were you in the forest with her?" Derryl only glared at her, "It's our forest, isn't it?" She smacked him across the face with the same hand that had punched the dirt next to his head, leaving a red mark. She stood up and turned her back on him, growling. "You're such a jerk! I know you're lying to me, and you never lie to me!" She turned around furiously to see him sitting up, brushing the dirt off of his clothes. "You care more about her than you do me. Why don't you go ask her?" He stood up and went into the house, leaving his twin standing there with a hurtful expression, a fresh track of tears running down her face. She turned away from the house, letting out a scream of frustration that sounded much more like a vicious snarl.

She started to pace the side-yard, hidden partially by 12 foot tall bushes from the rest of the town. She had gotten herself so worked up that she was on the verge of shifting into a wolf. The black hair on her head stood more on end, her shoulders looked thicker than usual, and if you got a good look at her face, her canines were more prominent, her eyes more narrow and her ears more pointed. She was doing a fairly good job at holding the change at bay, but she was still pacing, like a caged wolf. By her fourth turn she kicked off her shoes, which had been uncomfortable under the threat of her toes and feet being replaced by claws and paws. Rhianu was growling silently. She was just upset, she wasn't having any particular thoughts what so ever. And of course it wasn't likely that anyone from within the mansion would come out to try to calm her down, she was one of the more impulsive, aggressive members of their little family.

In the meantime, Derryl had gone into the kitchen, pulled out and reheated some of the left overs from the lovely dinner Josephine had made, it was a miracle that there were any left overs. With the sort of metabolism that this family had. After pulling the plate out of the oven he walked up the stairs towards his own room. He walked in heading over to the desk that was furnished with little else but a lamp and papers, but he lifted his bare foot up from something strange and looked down. There was that white pillow-thing that apparently Echo had left behind. Derryl sighed heavily and sat down next to it, setting his plate on the desk and rubbing his temples. "What is wrong with me? Why did I do that to her?" Groaning he stood up, picking up the pillow and turned to head downstairs to give it to Rhainu. Vampires don't fall in love with werewolves, vampires are absolutely disgusting and irritating creatures.. He reached the ground floor, holding 'MoMo' between both hands. So why do I want her so badly?

Clad in her black and white Lolita dress, yes even with the headband and thigh-high stockings that attacked to the inside, bottom part of the dress, Echo walked through the town in a fast skip. It was something she did even when she was upset, which of course only made her appear far younger than she really was. The talented ballerina turned in fouetté and pirouettes, her skirt flying around her but never high enough to reveal anything, as she passed the humans in such a graceful manner, many were leaved stunned as they tried to recognize who the girl was, but she was far too fast for their eyes. As she got closer to the Black's manor, she caught the scent of her friend, who seemed greatly upset now since there was an odd emotion in her scent, and began to make her way towards her. Her expression was blank when she found her dear friend, just about ready to morph into her canine self. "Rhianu." The Greek vampire spoke her friend's name as she wrapped her arms behind her, giving off an even more childish appearance. "Is this something you would like to fight out?" Did the blood pixie just asked her friend if she needed to fight off her anger? Apparently so. If Rinu was this upset, Echo already knew who to blame, but that person was someone she would prefer to avoid at that moment, if possible, since she was now, once again, in the werewolves' territory. But behind her emotionless tone, one would barely be able to make out that she actually meant another option. From what my sources tell me, Echo played the lead role in Anastasia in a school in England that she was going to for a few years. She was the lead ballerina, to no surprise, and was automatically play that part. But ah, she too sang in the very play. Echo, singing. That was something one had to see at least once in their lifetime. Immortal or not.

Despite her apparent agitation and preoccupation, she caught Echo's scent a short while before she heard her friend's voice. None the less she acted as if that was her only warning to Echo's appearance and turned around quickly, as if about to attack, but instead she only looked at Bellatrix with a slightly wild expression, heterochromia eyes looking more feral than usual. Delyth took a deep breath and let it out again as she resumed pacing. "No." Once, twice she paced before stopping, suddenly sitting on her heels and holding her head. "He wont tell me what happened! He doesn't usually lie to me, the last time he lied to me was..." But her voice faded out, she didn't want to talk about it. Even though she didn't want to let anyone else know the last occasion that one Twin had lied to the other, I have no qualms with such. She hadn't told Echo yet that she had been institutionalized for her eccentric ways, and near exposure to her and her family's nature. Derryl had been the one who got Rhianu free, despite several legal entities wanting the 'dangerous girl' to stay institutionalized. He never said how, and he refused to even talk about it. It was such a trivial thing, but to Rhianu it was much larger than that. To top it all off, despite knowing how such withheld information affected his twin, Derryl hadn't budged in that matter, and did not want to budge in this one either. Rhianu growled, her claws dug into her scalp before she realized what she was doing and suddenly looked up at Echo as if she realized something and most of her distress had been wiped away. "Echo!" She stood up, taking a step closer to her friend, looking concerned. "Are you okay? You're wearing different clothes... did you go home?" Her eyes narrowed as she jumped to conclusions. "What did Derryl do, he didn't hurt you or anything, did he?" She bared her teeth as she glared up at the mansion. Thinking about what a jerk her silly twin could be.

So Derryl, not so aware of what he was walking into stepped onto the front lawn, and caught a strong whiff of Echo's scent and Rhianu's scent laden with those extra emotions that he knew all too well. He sighed heavily, and thought about walking back into the mansion, instead he walked around the mansion to the side yard where both Rhianu and Echo were located, and set 'MoMo' down against the edge of the building, before continuing his walk, headed for the garden, he kept along the bushes that lined the Black Manor itself, so that it was less likely for Rhianu to notice him. So that he also couldn't see Echo and the smell of pine drowned out both of them.

A small, almost unseen smile spread across her pale lips as soon as Delyth took full notice that she had returned. And of course, seconds later, the questions began. "I'm fine. Yes, I went home to change into something more appropriate." Appropriate? The dress she was wearing was short on a normal heighten person. Very short. But when she asked what Derryl had done to her, her mind started to flash back to the actions that were taken in the woods, her and the male werewolf. Of course, besides being embarrassed about what she did, she was also pissed. She was a female after all, so when a male still thinks you're a "stupid blood pixie" of course Echo would get mad. "Let's just say I owe him a severe concussion..." She responded with a hiss, clearly upset. Taking a deep breath, she calmed herself enough to mutter, "I left Momo here, where is he?.." She didn't catch Rex's scent, and even if she did, she ignored it. If she spotted that wolf, she will more than likely reveal her ability to him as she would send him straight into the wall of the mansion, telekinetically of course.
