xxxTink chuckled. "I like to think I know wines, but I can only go by what I've seen on wine tours and such. Plus, I think I have more money invested in my wine cellar than my closet, so.." She shrugged about being brave. "It's a gated community and I have a good friend close by. But I was thinking about getting a big dog." When he expressed disappointment at the fact that she didn't throw parties she laughed. "Nope, sorry, this is about as wild as I get in my home, and it's not even a proper party. I prefer to go to other people's houses and clubs and such. I love partying and dancing, but my home is my sanctuary and I need it to be separate from my public life." She raised an eyebrow, a little surprised when they said they worked for a bank. "Seriously? But you guys are gorgeous, you should be models or something." Well, someone wasn't shy. When she was asked what she did she beamed again. "I'm actually a make up artist. I mostly only work on Collet Thayer's movies now, but I used to do make up for movies as well as tv shows. Plus, I have my own make up line coming out in a few weeks. I'm really excited about it." She looked around then, making sure people weren't at each other's throat and sagged a little when her eyes fell on Jason and Alex. Then Connor, Nathan and Chris all went up to him. "s**t! I'm sorry excuse me." She sighed with relief when Xia came over, shocking herself a little. She never thought she'd be glad the girl was there, but now Tink didn't feel as guilty for leaving the twins. She paused when Jack stopped her. "Sure, though I think you might want to wait for a bit." Then she walked past them and made her way over to the crowd.

xxxAcross the patio Billie sat up and grimaced. "First of all, screw you you know you'll be first in line. And second.." She nodded at the crowd around the bar and Tink making her way over. "It might be time to catch that cab.." She sighed and looked for Sophie, praying she had enough sense to stay out of it all.

xxxConnor put a hand on Nathan's shoulder, pulling him back. "Too late, mate. Best to hang back now." He listened as Chris raged at Jason. Really he agreed a little. Yelling and giving a person s**t never helped. He should know, he'd been in Alex's position when he was his age and no one had been able to get him to stop. But, he also got where Jason was coming from. It broke his heart to see Alex spiraling down, but it wasn't his place to lecture the kid. The only thing that had gotten Connor to ease up was falling for Collet and everyone backing off a bit. Connor looked over and saw Tink approching. "Oh s**t, we're in trouble now."

xxxTink pushed her way into the middle of the crowd, right between Alex and Jason. She shoved them both, hard. "Enough! Jesus Christ, what is wrong with you all? Do you not understand the meaning of 'stress free'?" She glared at everyone around her, including Connor and Chris. "One night, I just wanted one night before everything gets a million times worse. One night to remember why we all like each other's company. But no, y'all have to air dirty laundry with everyone around." She stomped her foot. "No one forced you to come, you know. If you knew you wouldn't be able to handle it without fighting you shouldn't have showed up." She looked at Jason. "Jason, stop yelling at him for one ******** night. Did yelling and lecturing do anything for Connor? No." She turned to Alex. "And Alex. One night, just one night go easy on the drinking. I'm not saying stop, I'm just saying ease up, just for tonight. And don't push Jason's buttons." She looked at Collet and Sophie and back to the boys. "For once, you both need to pull your heads out of your asses and look around. Look what you're both doing to the people who love you. Yelling and fighting isn't going to solve anything, Chris is right, it's just going to push everyone away. That's goes for both of you." She crossed her arms. "My God, it's like you enjoy pissing each other off!!" She took a deep breath. "Now, you both should stay on opposite sides of the room for the night. And if you all, " She looked around the patio, including everybody in the 'you all'. "Don't ******** behave, I swear to go I will find every pair of my heavy shoes and give you all concussions!!" She waited, half expecting to be yelled at in return, half expecting most people to leave.

xxxConnor grinned and leaned in towards Nathan. "Think you can handle her, mate?" He bit his tongue to stop from laughing.

((Ok, so I may have just overstepped my RP boundaries and ******** with some storylines. If I did, let me know and I have no problem editing. I just couldn't see any other option than for Tink to step in before things got really heated, since it is her house and all. Or feel free to ignore Tink and fight anyway, I can have her walk away from it seeing she can't stop it.))

Nathan nodded and took a step back from Jason and Chris. He was about to tell the girl that she was causing more of a scene right before a pretty brunette in a yellow dress stormed over. Nathan listened to her and then laughed at Connor. "I think I could take her." He joked and shoved Connor, then he spoke softer so only Connor could hear him. "Remind me again, have I met her? And what is her name?" Nathan felt bad for that, but his memory for names wasn't the greatest. He had met a lot of pretty girls before in his life and never bothered to get their names. But Nathan knew he wasn't going to forget her.

xxxConnor chuckled. "She's going to eat you alive, man." He nodded to his question. "Once or twice, a while ago. She's been friends with Letty for years, longer than I've been dating her. But she's a make up artist, so she didn't come to our shows as often as Letty, Sophie and Billie. Her name's Jennifer, but don't call her that, I did once and she gave me a bruise. Everyone calls her Tink." He chuckled as he remembered Tink's explination behind her name. "I asked her why the nickname stuck into adulthood and she said it was her temper. I guess in the actual Peter Pan play, they say fairies only have enough room for one emotion at a time, so their emotions consume them. When they're happy, they're infectious. When they're angry.." He gestured to Tink. "They're something like this. And believe it or not this is her temper under control. She's trying really hard to keep everything and everyone together so she's trying to stay cool. I think s**t's going to hit the fan no matter how hard she tries." He looked at Collet and smiled at her, looking a little sad. "And everyone's gonna get hit." He looked back to Nathan. "Anyway, don't worry, she's actually a really sweet girl. Just.. don't get on her bad side." He smacked Nathan's back, grinning again.

Nathan chuckled and pretended to write that down as a note. "Stay on good side. I think I can manage that." He gave a small smile to Tink and then noticed his friends unusual gesture to Collet. "Hey you wanna tell me what's going on between you and the misses?" Nathan gave his friend a small smile as they gradually stepped away from the crowd. No matter what pretty girl was here, Nathan was here for Connor, it was obvious that he needed a friend right now.

When Alex said that Jason chose to act like an a*****e, he got really defensive. Yeah when he was angry he could be a total jerk, but it’s not like he went around purposefully trying to piss people off. “Oh, so I’m the a*****e for trying to look out for you? What about our parents? They don’t give two shits about us!” If Alex thought that Jason was being an a** because he was acting like the parent then so be it. Alex needed structure in his life and right now their parents were doing a shitty job at providing any form of structure. Jason didn’t believe for one minute that Alex wasn’t drunk. Sure he could hide it well, but Jason recognized the signs. “You shouldn’t even be drinking at all, you’re underage!” Sure that didn’t stop Jason from drinking when he was younger, but at least he could control himself. When Christine came over and began ragging on him about leaving Alex alone, Jason just ignored her. He didn’t need her to tell him how to handle his brother.

When Jason saw Alex begin to walk away, he called out after him.“You better not be thinking of going anywhere. You just got arrested for driving drunk; don’t think I am going to allow that to happen again.” Alex was really out of his mind if he thought Jason would let him leave. He would tackle the man and wrestle the keys from him if he had to. Then Christine began speaking to him once again. This time he took the time to listen. She wasn’t really making anything better, because Jason didn’t want to hear what he was doing wrong. She was right though. Jason didn’t bother to get to the root of Alex’s drinking, but it was no surprise it had to do with the divorce. Each of the kids was handling the divorce in different ways, but that didn’t make Alex’s drinking acceptable. The divorce was affecting Jason just as much as it was Alex. Jason felt the weight of the world on his shoulders as he tried to compensate for their parents' behavior. Jason was next in line to take care of his family, and that wasn’t an easy thing to do. He could have went down the same path as Alex, but Jason chose not to.

Between Christine’s little speech and what Alex said next, it left Jason speechless for a moment. It was true. Getting angry was just going to make things worse, especially in front of everyone else. Jason turned and saw Connor and Nathan making their way over to where he stood. By now the argument between Alex and Jason was getting some attention. Jason took a deep breath because he knew he had to calm down. The party had just started and he didn’t want to ruin it already. Jason closed his eyes and rubbed his temples, taking a moment for himself. Nathan helped calm him down with his words. It was true, Jason was being a sucky friend, but at least Nathan was joking about it. Going out with him to get a beer and catch up sounded like a good idea. But before he could even consider that idea, Tink came storming over and began yelling. Jason was already tiptoeing on the line, but now with Christine and Tink’s yelling, it pushed him right over. If it weren’t for the fact that she was a girl, Jason would have retaliated on her. As much as he liked the girl, she had no idea. None of them had no idea what he was going through.

Maybe if they saw it through his eyes then they would understand his actions a little better. Yeah he over reacted a bit, but that was just how he was. “Shut the ******** up all of you! You think you are making things better by jumping down our throats?” Jason was done trying to control his anger, he let it all out. “This is none of your ******** business so stay out of it! Yeah, I realize right here right now was not the time to be doing this, but it’s not like I planned for this to happen. You think I came here with the intention of ruining the party? You think I like arguing with Alex? It might surprise you all, but I don’t!” Did they really think he would purposefully do that? “Alex and I are brothers, in case you guys forgot. As brothers we fight a lot, but it’s up to us to fix things. This isn’t our first fight, and it sure as hell won’t be our last. So I’m sorry Tink, I really am, that this had to happen. I truly didn’t mean to mess things up. If you want me gone, then so be it. I’ll leave.” Jason stormed out of the backyard and into the front. He could really go for a long drive right now, but he didn’t. Instead of leaving, he sat on the curb outside of Tink’s house with his head in his hands. Would anyone follow him? Do they even care?

xxxConnor's smile faltered as Nathan picked up on his mood. He looked around him and spoke so quietly it was almost a whisper. "Don't react, because she hasn't told everyone yet. Only Tink, Jason and I know, as far as I know." He sighed and rubbed his neck. "Letty's pregnant.. and it's not mine." He closed his eyes and swallowed heavily. "I love her.. so damn much." He shoved a hand through his dark curls. "But I don't know if I can get over her cheating. And then there's someone else's kid involved.." He looked pleadingly at Nathan. Maybe Tink wasn't the only one snapping at the seams. At least he was still keeping his voice way down. No one would hear them. "I'm not ready to be a ********' dad. I'm scared as s**t, man and I don't know what to do." His shoulders sagged and he shoved his hands into his pockets. "I don't know if I can do this. Every time I look at her all I think about is what she did.. I'm putting on this stupid brave face and pretending to be alright and be the supportive boyfriend.. I don't want it to be over, but how do I get past this?" He looked so lost and scared.

Nathan put a hand on Connor's shoulder and looked at the ground. There were no words that he could say to his friend to make him feel any better about any of this. "You know what. Jason's little outburst gives you the perfect break. Go tell your girlfriend that you are gonna go with me and Jason and talk about the possibility of a new album." Nathan nodded and then left Connor to go find Jason. It wasn't that hard to spot the blond on the curb. "Hey man, want that beer still? This is all gotta be rough on you. Come on. Me, you and Connor, drinking and not thinking about this." Nathan smiled slightly and took a seat on the curb next to his old band mate. Sure they weren't really even friends but Nathan wasn't gonna let him sit out here alone.

xxxTink bit her lip as Jason yelled at everyone. She hadn't meant just him, but she was pissed and wasn't thinking before she spoke. She tried to stop him from leaving, but couldn't catch him in time. She felt awful for yelling at him but she didn't know what else to do. Everything was falling apart. She knew Jason hated fighting with Alex. And she knew they'd fight anyway. She had four older brothers, she'd seen fist fights over the last piece of pizza. But this was different and all the fighting seemed to be making things worse. She flopped into a seat and sighed heavily. "This is why I don't have parties at my house." She looked up as Nathan walked past and sank further into her chair. Great, now he probably thought she was some psycho b***h who stuck her nose in other people's business. She really wasn't, she'd probably have stayed out of the whole thing if it hadn't been her house.

xxxConnor nodded as Nathan left but stood still for a moment before going over to Collet. He took her hand and squeezed gently. "Hey, I'm really sorry about all this.. I'm gonna go make sure Jason's ok." He kissed her forehead and turned to follow Nathan. He paused in front of Tink though and knelt down. "Tink? Don't beat yourself up over this, ok? It was bound to happen." She nodded, looking on the verge of tears. "It's fine, once it's not so fresh Jason will realize that you and Chris were right. And Alex.. well, he might take a while, but he'll grow out of this eventually." Tink nodded again, still saying nothing. Connor kissed her cheek. "Just relax. The hard part's over. Now comes the awkward silence. If we're lucky everyone will go home and you and Letty can do girly s**t and feel better." This got Tink to giggle and Connor smiled, finally successful. He gave her a little salute and headed outside.

xxxConnor clapped his hands and rubbed them together as he approached the boys. "So, strip club?" Jesus. He flopped onto the curb on Jason's other side. "Kidding. Come on, let's go get that beer. I'll even go get my car and be the DD. You guys can crash at my place tonight." He smiled. "We need to party and have fun like we used to. Just.. maybe be a little wiser about it than when we were 19." He sighed a little, feeling a little bit lighter. He didn't have to try as hard around Jason and Nathan.

((I might have one or two more posts in me, but I'm starting to get really tired. I'm already two hours past when I usually go to bed, but things were too damn good to go to bed lol Actually, now seems to be the perfect chance for me to go to bed. "Really? Well if you ever need legal advice or any help with a bank loan. Let us know." Leo suggested, he could help her with anything she might need in the bank. He was one of the heirs so he did hold power on the decisions. "You should, don't take a chance and let curious people to wonder around." Angus nod, she know he was right. A girl living by herself wasn't very safe, what if someone breaks in and she was sleeping? Or worst. Angus shrugged he didn't want to think about that. "Yeah get a dog," "I agree with you, clubs are for partying and houses are sacred. Plus if you throw a party at your house then you will need to clean the mess," Leo explain, his gaze turn to a girl who was walking in their direction. Oh no he was coming up to them. "That is the best job I have hear around, you must know tons of actors and actresses." Leo said. He have never met a make up artist before, that was interesting. So they paid her just to apply make up? Damn, terrific job. " Well congratulations Jennifer," She was throwing her own make up line that was great! "Sure you ahead," Leo agree, it seems things were getting hot around and the host needed to keep it cold. Yeah that was trouble about home parties.

"You like her!" Angus poke his twin as laughing, and before Leo could reply a girl just walk by introducing herself to them. He comb his hair with the hand before smiling "Hello Xia what a interesting name you have, is it Indian?" Angus asked while grinning. He made a sign with his hand "This is my twin, Leo and I am Angus." Angus introduce themselves to Xia. While his twin was busy with Xia, Leo was watching the whole scene taking action Tink stop a fight between a group. Maybe they should go away, they were barging into someone's house and she already have her hands full. "What is going on?"

Alex rolled his eyes listening to Chris. "Shut up, Chris. I don't drink because of my parents divorce. I couldn't give two ******** about that. You're making it seem like I have emotional issues or some s**t" He listened to Jason and Tink before deciding to leave. He walked into the house pushing past the two men standing there. He had a small stumbled but luckily made away from everyone and to the front door. He didn't care about his parents or at least he didn't think he cared. Even when his parents were together he was never around them. Once he was in the front of the house he looked towards the curb seeing Jason, Connor, and Nathan. He could drive past them but who's to say they wouldn't call the cops and report him. Turning back and walking inside he found his way to the tv room. He laid back against the couch and pulled his flask out of his pocket. He shook before removing the cap and finishing off the rest of the liquor.

He slipped the flask back in his pocket and stared at the ceiling. The yelling was still playing back in his head. Well, what he managed to hear. Most of it sounded like charlie browns parents. That's pretty much what his parents sounded like when they spoke to him too. His Mom still hadn't called. Figured though. She only needed the money he brought in and since he wasn't making at music at the moment she didn't care about him. He had enough money saved up to move out but he wasn't going to touch his savings yet. He knew that was for emergencies.

Toni was about to stand up when Tink walked over to the Thayers. "Yeah, we should probably find a way home." He fixed his shirt and tie but as he was about to turn to Billie the brothers left. "Or every things okay now. What do you want to do?" He asked looking down at her. He didn't mind staying but if Tink wanted everyone to leave he had no problem with that. It was understandable after that mini explosion.

Yes she knew Jason was going to snap, oh dear lord it took every single angel to refrain from yeling back at Jason. Let him speak Christine, let him say what he have to say. She sighed deeply as Jason finish, are you done punk? Anything else you want to add? We are your friends we don't have to keep up with your crap, I can beat your a** before you even try to scream. Christine thought rolling her eyes to Tink, poor girl was working her a** to keep everyone together. It was sad, friends fighting over. She wanted to punch Jason until he was bleeding but she just let him walk away, calm himself before walking inside the house. She place her glass in the sink, then walk out of the house where she spot Conner and Jason. Now all she have to do was talk to Jason in a more civilize way. Christine gently place her hand on Jason's shoulder "Connor mind giving me a second alone with Jason, please." She asked before dropping her hand off his shoulder. She lean on the fence and wait for his reply. Her gaze was fix on Jason, who bury his face on his hands.

"Jason I won't apology because no." She bite her lower lip, she force herself to be nicer to him. "I know how you feel, but we just want help you make things right. You need to understand...no..accept that yours parents are divorcing but they still love you all. You don't need to be their father, they need a big brother someone who is there to catch them when they fall." Christine explain in a very soft tone of voice, it was hard to see them fighting. It was hard to accept they were divorcing but it wasn't the kids fault. "Look" she held his hurt hand as gently as she could, so he won't flinch "You are hurting yourself and those who love you, we all love you and your family. You need to be more careful or will push us away, Tink, Connor and even Karissa away. Don't be like your parents who forgot how much they love each other."

Christine let go his hand and cross her arms over the chest. "You need to control yourself before you hurt Karissa, or someone else." She point his hand. "I invite Alexander to move out with me that way he will calm down. Focus in his career, he told me he was thinking on writing again... and I'm happy he is slowly tying to change. You should do the same," Christine bury her face on her hands, she was just trying to help Alexander because she love him but everything she did or said bother him. She shrugged briskly before stepping away from them "You might want to think about it Jason," She whisper, as she remove her heels and grab them by the spikes "I'm heading home, sorry for the troubles, for thinking I could help you it's obviously Alex is mad at me, so I might as well get going." She wave them before walking off. It was going to be a long road and no shoes.

xxxPenn laughed and glanced around the party again. "Well at least I'm not working, and we are spending time together." she said as she kissed Riland's cheek. It wasn't long until the screaming stared though and she watch both Thayer boys storm off in different directions and people following th eldest of the two. Penn bit her lip, she was a pretty compassionite person and her heart really did go out for the two. That and she really didn't want to deal with it at work. And the Thayer parents were enough to deal with. But she figured she lend a hand in trying to keep the peace at the party. She thought that was the reason for it, but she didn't want to out right ditch her boyfriend, for another guy at that even if she was attaracted to either Thayer boys.

She shot Riland a look that said she wanted to help, and he had every right to be mad at her. "I'll be right back....or you could come follow me while I stick my nose where it doesn't belong. Or you could get us something to drink?" Penn said simply as she headed towards the house. Sure she didn't know much about the Thayer's, but their were perks to being their maid. Like the fact that she knew neither brother would go towards the other for awhile. That and at least one of them would turn to the bottle to calm down. So she simply went into the house and walked in until she found the younger of the Thayer brothers, Alex. She looked around, it didn't seem like anyone else was doing damage control. So Penn cleared her throat to try and get Alex's attention. When that didn't work she simply poked him and stood in front of him. "You ok? With the whole yelling thing dude?" she asked simply. In her mind she figured any of the Thayer's would talk to someone outside their Inner Circle, plus it wasn't like she could tell anyone without risk of loosing her job.

Riland gave Penn a soft smile and nodded. He knew his girlfriend was going to get involved as soon as the fight broke out. So Riland decided on getting them some drinks. While he was walking over there, he noticed a pretty little Thayer. In Riland's opinion, Sophia was prettier than Collette and should have more attention, but what does his opinion count for anything? Riland walked over to her and smiled. "Sophia! How are you?" That was when Riland saw Jack and nodded to him. "Sup Jack?" Riland knew that everyone around Sophia didn't want her with Jack, but it wasn't really any of his business and if she liked the guy, then what did it matter. Riland's opinion was to support her and be there for her if things went wrong. He was good at being the shoulder to cry on.

xxxBillie grabbed her purse and started getting up as the Thayer boys stormed off in different directions. "Huh.. well, that went better than I thought." She looked towards Tink and frowned. "The poor girl. All the people in her life at each others throats. She's too nice for her own good." She bit her lip as she tried to figured out how to reply to Toni. "Well, it's still early, we could go get something to eat, but.." She looked over to Sophie. "What if Sophie needs us? And I didn't hear any cars so no one's actually left yet, if the fight starts up again Tink might need help cleaning the aftermath. Though I'm betting she probably just wants everyone to get the ******** out so she and Collet can de-stress." She sighed heavily, completely unsure what to do.

((It's ok, it's my fault, I gave you like nothing to reply to in that last post. Hopefully this one's better, but I doubt it since it feels like filler cause I'm really not sure if we should have Billie and Toni leave or not.))
