The Decision~

The Dante family and the Strigori family have always been close despite their differences. When each family began having children they promised, in written , that when they died or the eldest child became of age, the two families would move in together. Each child was assigned a fiancee when they were born and written in the family wills.
As more children were born, their names continued to be written together, even after the families moved to opposite sides of the country. Only now that the parents of each family are dead will the two families come together. With no memory of each other, a name of a person they're suppose to marry, and all the money the two families need, their new lives begin.

Dante Family~

The Dante family has lived in bright and sunny California, use to the warm weather, and beaches. They are now forced the little state of Maine to live with a family they don't remember. To be exact, mysterious Strigori family. People who don't want to open up their secrets.

Strigori Family~

A family who has always lived in Maine, and has always been secretive. The Strigori are people who never leave the house without umbrella or heavy protective clothing. Some cannot even leave the house during day anymore. Why? The Strigori are vampires.
To live the Strigori as children must eat food as well as drink a bit of blood because the blood didn't contain the correct nutrients. As they grow older their body shall change and they will need to rely on blood. They may eat food but it does nothing anymore.
With sensitive pale skin, and predatory eyes, the Strigori are not so pleased to marry something usually thought of as food. Most put up with the Dantes to an extent but are not planning on letting them into their secret world.

Together~

The two families now living in the luxury of a mansion, still going to school, and still allowed to have friends. The two families must get along, or kill each other in the process.

The Towns People~

The towns folk, friends or enemies of the families or maybe mere shop owners all live in the town as well. They're at the school, at the stores, and of course they own their own homes. They are usually normal humans, but some are similar to the Strigori family are vampires, keeping their secrets.

Rules~

Number one: Strigori do not have to be pure vampire. Even if unexplained, the family may be of different types, as long as they are part vampire.

Number two: The Dantes are just human. They don't have cool powers, though they can be skilled at things.

Number three: Dantes may be changed into vampires by swapping blood.

Number four: Romance, violence, and any type of drama is very encouraged.

Number five: Try to post at least once every few days. If you're gone longer than five days your profile will be removed and your fiancee re-assigned.

Number six: Don't immediately fall in love, let it take time.

Number seven: You're not confined to your home. You may leave the house to shop, walk around, go to school, or whatever else.

Number eight: You are not emotionally confined to your fiancee. The taboo of falling in love with some one else adds great drama.

Number nine: Send your profile to Marion-san titled with your family's name. If you aren't part of a family, just title your profile with the name of the roleplay.

Number ten: Please do something to make your posting pretty.

Number eleven: Any profile titled incorrectly will be ignored.

Number twelve: Don't god mod in violent scenes.

Number thirteen: Time skip once the clothes come off.

Number fourteen: We need friends too, not just Dantes and Strigori.

Number fifteen: If you're going to use o.o.c then use ( ) or [ ] or something of the sort.

Number sixteen: Watch for the event announcements there might be something interesting.

Number seventeen: Watch for character updates, someone might have to leave or something of the sort.

Number eighteen: If you want to quit please tell me so we're not just waiting for you.

Number nineteen: If you read the rules put a heart in your first post.

Aralyn Strigori

Aralyn's eyes fluttered open as she awoke from her dreamless slumber. She was in her room, the shades drawn, making the room look extremely dark. Dispite the dark, her scarlet eyes glowed softly, and her vision was perfect. She remembered that about a week ago she and her siblings had moved into a mansion with this other family, the Dante's, and they had been told that they would each be married off to one of the human children of that family. Aralyn sighed in annoyance at the memory as she sat up and got out of bed. She walked over to one of the windows and pulled her curtain open just a crack. A murky, cloudy day. She squinted at the sliver of pale light, her eyes stinging a bit, but she was happy that the sun didn't seem to be peaking out behind the gray clouds. It would be a rather comfortable day. She nodded in aproval as she let the curtain go and yawned. She walked over to her personal bathroom and took a shower, shivering in delight as the warm water caressed her pale flesh. She got out, drying her body and hair, and got dressed in her college uniform. Her long, knee-length red hair was still damp when she headed downstairs.
