Monday, November 21st, 2011 The last day of the Fallon High’s yearly trip to one of Nevada’s semi-famous Ghost Towns. This year, the tradition takes fifty students to the Gold Point Ghost Town in what is now Goldfield, Nevada where some of the old buildings have been converted to dwellings for tourist because no one permanently lives there anymore, hence the ghost town in the name. Why the heck such a large trip would be organized six weeks after a riot which injured some, gave new injuries to Sharif, re-injured Damien landing him once again in trouble with law, and brought reporters to the school twice in one day? Simple, this trip was pre-planned, long before the semester even began…and such an expensive that it wouldn’t be turned down just because some students tried to end their lives. Of course most of those involved in that chaos are banned from upper classmen activities, but as it has been found that our two Six boys started nothing the ban doesn’t apply to them. What luck right? Not in the least! How come you say? Well, think about a nearly five hour’s drive can take the enjoyment out of any free-dress slash-field-trip day, and that’s not even the worse part. Our twelve souls have been split between two cabins, the five guys and Emma slept in one cabin, and the rest of the girls will slept in another, each of these cabins has three bunk beds and a full albeit small bathroom and kitchenette with small fridge. The rest of group would have been inside one of the somewhat restored old hotels where meals are served, if they were still there, but as everyone will soon discover, they left a couple of hours ago. It is now 1:45PM on this cold fall afternoon, it has to be at most 62 degrees out now. As to the chaperone whose charge these twelve unlucky students were under...well there was a minor incident involving a rattlesnake, and he's still in the hospital an hour or so away.

For Emma, sleeping a real bed was about as rare as a pink pigeon, so it was relished opportunity. She knew that she would probably never have the luxury of such nightly warmth again, so it didn't matter to her that the mattress on her temporary top bunk bed was extra firm, it was still softer than the Coleman's sleeping bed over the concrete that she usually slept on. Emma had slept on benches and between buildings for so long she could honestly say that she'd forgotten what a real bed felt like. Now it seemed like she would always remember and that was a knowledge that going to vex her until the fall and winter months were over. This time of year, temperatures at night dipped below thirty degrees, and Emma was usually sick. This weekend was no exception, but this cold was more of an annoyance than true problem. Emma was not one to let a cold keep her from being herself, and there was too much to do and see for her to spend all day sleeping. Yet that is exactly what Emma had done today.

Emma could only fight forty hours of no sleep for so long. Emma's inner history buff had itself a field day in this old mining town. She had a more stable job around this time last year, so she hadn't been able to even a day off without fear of losing the job. A field-trip was not a must. This year she worked for individuals and smaller business owners, she had proven through her work ethic that she was a hard worker. Thus, her weekend boss at the Maine Street Cafe didn't mind giving the young waitress a weekend off. It was funny, after dinner here she had found herself doing the exact same thing she did back in Fallon only in a new place. Emma couldn't help it, their school's group was huge and it felt wrong for her to let all the busing fall on Sheriff Stone. That man wore enough hats around this town of two as it was. He was the tour guide, historian, the ridding instructor, the sheriff obviously, the porter, the barkeep, and the chef. Everyone could use a little help no and then, even if the didn't ask for it. So the last few days Emma had taken upon herself to collect the finished dishes and help wash them. It was least she could do, they were giving a group of potentially destructive children free board and food for an entire weekend, the least she could do was so herself to be grateful. This was in addition to all of the hiking, horseback riding, and general fun and games she finally had time to play catch up with her sisters. Needless to say in the past couple of days midnight had caught the young woman still out and about for one thing or another. It finally caught up the nineteen year old today. When her head hit the pillow, she was out like a light.

You know the kind, those ancient hanging florescent ones that hum annoyingly? Emma's body was exhausted and she rarely had the opportunity to sleep this deeply. Was it any surprise that Emma had been snoring through most of the night? Not a surprise per say, just a major irritation if she'd been the only one snoring. (The last thing Emma remembered before hearing Sharif pacing, so she gathered he had been the last to fall asleep, and thus had to be also snoring) Emma Lysandra Monroe had allowed herself to sleep deeply for what had to be first time in at least four and a quarter years...

So when she awoke that much was clear on her face. Her eyes had crusted themselves shut with this sleep and it took more than one attempt for her to get them open. Giving herself a few moments to regain clear sight she observed herself out of habit. She found her wrist imprinted the the stitch pattern from the pillow top of the mattress, and yes dried...droll on the other. When I sleep...I REALLY SLEEP don't I? She questioned herself, finding her body extremely stiff as she reluctantly removed the cocoon of bedding from around her sweatsuit clad personage. Holy mother of s**t, it's still freezing! It wouldn't make sense to change her out of her pajamas, not practical, but she did need to shower and put on clean underwear, that still required getting out of bed....damn it all. After a while Emma sucked it up and crawled to end of bunk and climbed down, getting straight into her boots as the floor to was too cold for her bare feet after such an experience with warmth. Taking a look around the room she found it mostly empty, Sharif was still asleep and snoring but Minwoo was out of sight. ”I was loud last night, snoring..and woke any of you guys, you have my sincerest apologizes.” Speaking to no one she just wanted to get that out in the open.

She could have maybe washed her face in the bathroom in the cabin she shared the guys, but she never knew when anyone was in there in the morning and didn't like to chance it. She gathered up her change of under clothes bundled in a towel set headed over to cabin she knew her sister friends Adele and Analise to be sleeping in...along with that Tori chick whom honestly Emma wished hadn't decided to come. There was something in that girl's attitude that irked Emma's core. Outside of the girl's cabin, Emma waiting wish now that she had put on a jacket and knocked on the door, figuring someone would be up to open it soon. ”It's Emma, open the door, I need to wash and such!” She knocked somewhat loudly. The sound seemed to Emma's ears to be bouncing a bit around, echoing. It was probably just a Ghost Town thing, but this place felt strangely...lacking something.

Some people said that before you die your life flashes before your eyes, but for Elena it had been about eight weeks since she had gone to the bridge yet every time she closed her eyes it was all she could see. The doctors said that she would be able to move past it and start putting her life back together, it was the reason she had gone back to school, the reason she was on this stupid field trip, but all she could really see at that moment was the one place that had changed her life. As she flipped to the next page of her book she blocked out the memories that seemed to cross her mind whenever she was alone or had time to think. She had never been good at forgiving people and forgiving herself was even harder. She wasn’t even sure if she was angry because she tried it or because she failed. All she knew was that she survived and she had to focus on moving past that one day.

Surprisingly her host parents hadn’t been as angry with her as she had expected when she had awoken in the hospital room with her host family and her brother sitting there. Even after they found out the truth, the reason she had gone to the bridge. They didn’t hate her, they were confused, upset, hurt, and a little shocked, but they didn’t hate her which was a start she didn’t expect. They also hadn’t sent her home, which was another thing she had expected once the doctors figured out what was going on. Part of her believed it was because they didn’t want to lose contact with their first grandchild. She had not only almost taken her own life, but also the life of her unborn child, the life of their grandchild and that was something she hadn’t even been able to forgive herself for yet.

This trip was supposed to help with that, which was what all the doctors told her. She was supposed to do something that was normal, that she would have done before the bridge, but nothing felt normal. Even reading the book didn’t feel normal because normal didn’t exist. She had spent the whole trip trying to just blend in, do whatever they were planning on doing, be it hiking or horseback riding. Those were supposed to be relaxing that that’s exactly what she needed to do. She needed a stress free environment, but whoever decided to send her back to school clearly never went to high school because when it came to school there was always stress.

Pulling herself from her book when she heard the knock on the door she stood up and moved it leaving the book on the bed. “Hello,” Elena said as she opened the door for Emma. “Come on in”, she said moving aside so that the girl could get into the cabin. Elena had already dress and gotten ready for the day. She had put on a shirt that covered the small baby bump that was already starting to form. She was only thirteen weeks in, just over three months and she already felt like she was showing which wasn’t something she liked to share. If it was up to her no one would know, but seeing as her attempt was so public so was the fact that she had been pregnant at the time a fact she was never going to be able to forget.

                                                  Sharp as a thumbnail scratch

Davik had totally underestimated how difficult it would be for him to sleep in the same room as five other people. He was accustomed to four walls and a locked door between him and the rest of the world while he was asleep. His uncle scoffed about trust issues, as if he had any reason to trust anyone in this world. He stood with his back to a wall as often as he could find one, sat near a door if possible so that he could keep track of who came and went, and always slept with his door firmly locked. Trust issues? Yes, there was that. There was also the fact that he was a feather-light sleeper. It could be a serious advantage – since he didn’t really sleep deeply, it took him no time at all to fall asleep. Practically all he had to do was lie down and want it. Not even really close his eyes, since it didn’t exactly make a difference, although he was fairly certain his eyes closed of their own accord. He didn’t know for sure. On the other hand, sleeping so light was usually a major annoyance. He always dreamed and, man, weren’t the things his brain came up with strange? Worse than that, though, any noise woke him at once. Sleeping in the same room as five other people, one of them a snorer? He’d hardly gotten any sleep the last few nights.

Then, at a seriously unreasonable hour this morning, just when everyone else had shut up and Davik had rolled over to get some actual sleeping done, he’d heard the racket of the busses outside. Well, screw it, he’d decided. The last thing he wanted right now was to be on a bus full of gibbering idiots, all talking about what fun they’d had the last few days. Yeah. Fun. What a perfect word. There had been horseback riding (he’d refused to participate, choosing instead to find a tree and climb as high up it as he could manage with touch alone until the chaperone gave up and agreed that he didn’t have to go near one of the beasts), hiking (he’d been barred from that one, since he didn’t have a guide dog and the terrain was apparently a bit rough), and the sort of “look but don’t touch” tourism which had always irritated him, but never so much as in the last six years. Bloody good time it’d been. And no booze at all, what with the chaperones being so responsible. There hadn’t been any tea, either. At least, not proper tea. He’d asked for it the first night and what he’d gotten didn’t bear thinking about. One sip and he’d spat it back into the glass, thoroughly unimpressed. Yeah, the last thing he wanted to do was listen to how much fun everyone had had.

Davik felt around the top of the mattress for his iPod. When he found it, he fixed one of the earbuds into his ear. He rarely used both of them; it was those trust issues again. He wasn’t about to deprive himself of another primary sense, even though it was well weird to hear a book spoken into just one ear. He hit the play button and the little box picked up his book right where he’d left it off last time. The blind boy slumped back against the wall, his head ducked a little to avoid knocking it into the bunk above him again. A while passed, people stirred, someone got up and left, and his book finished. He scrolled all the way to the top of the list and the back down, one at a time, counting off the clicks in his head. The girl woke up, issued a general apology which Davik ignored, and left a couple minutes later. He wondered briefly if he should have said that the busses had already been and gone. But to hell with it; it wasn’t his fault they’d missed it.

You can whine until your mouth dries up
You can hang your head and wonder why
You can die or you can stand upright
And never go down again.

Minwoo tugged at his sleeves as a light breeze blew in his face, making him shiver slightly. Despite the sun, the temperature is way lower than he would have wanted right there in Nevada, especially in the ghost town; maybe its the eerie silence getting the worst out of the situation, or it could just be the plain fact that the emptiness and vast mass of sand and lack of buildings just isn't going to be effective in blocking out the occasional wind.

The brunette has been up and out of the stuffy cabin since morning, just late enough to avoid the breakfast hour where large group of students would be present. As of now they should be headed towards somewhere staring at the old, abandoned buildings that is threatening to fall apart at any moment. Or towards the museum, probably. Minwoo couldn't remember which one came first in the itinerary, as neither were of interest nor importance to the young man. Sand, more sand, and empty buildings, how interesting, he noted blankly when he first received the piece of paper. The first day was fine, but no way is he going to waste his time at that kind of tour - well, he was pretty sure that no one would noticed a missing student anyway, with their hands busy on the excited ones.

Why in the world would a school actually decide on a field trip to a ghost town was way beyond the comprehensive abilities of Minwoo: why the hell would someone actually enjoy looking at abandoned houses? Well, apparently many people did, as it is a tourist attraction. But they are students studying in Nevada, not as if they're from a school in Washington. This ghost town trip is just a few hours distance from the school, tops, and that includes the half-an-hour toilet trip in between as the old bus took its needed stop at a gas station. They're still in the same bloody state, just a different city, if this run-down place could even count as one.

Minwoo shivered again as he took a look at his map, re-adjusting his backpack. He had been around the place for the last few hours trying to make his way around while taking in the scenery - or whatever scenery there actually is. Minwoo never had the knack for observing man-made stuff or visit a gallery filled with dead objects, or man-made stuff carefully mounted into place 'for learning purposes'. 'Right, you don't learn by staring at a specimen through a glass panel. You learn by observation, if these people actually knew the definition of the word.' He scoffed, but his eyes refocused themselves on the subject in front of him - the old, abandoned mine. Finally.

His brown orbs bored into the small opening of the cave as he slowly climbed the small rocky slope and peered inside. It was dark, pitch black even, but nothing a flash light could not solve. Ruffling through his backpack for that trustworthy companion, Minwoo couldn't help but pick up a pebble and throw it as far in as possible, listening to the echo of the dull thud and rolling of the projectile object. Sounds that signal there's no water and probably just more sand and dust. He heard some light fluttering of wings, but that didn't bother him; bats are in any abandoned caves, and this one wouldn't be any different. He briefly thought about his only friend that came along on the trip; should he have asked him along? Minwoo shook his head, filing that thought away. Things changed, their situation changed. It's not going to be easy going back to it original state, and its not like going back to their 'original' state now would be of great help. One shouldn't drown himself in the past, the only way is to move on in life...though Minwoo isn't sure if he's one to say that. He sighed, and refocused on the cave; he needed this short trip, alone.

'Now this is the real field trip. Not the museum, or falling houses, or horseback riding,' the Asian student thought, though he would never outright admit that horses are actually pretty cool and horseback riding was actually, fun. Reminded him of his home town, save that it was way more tolerable there with the lush fields instead of dusty sand. Horse-back riding like those old rodeo movies in real life is just stupid; dusts, dusts and more bloody dusts right in the face just isn't going to work it. Taking a tentative step into the cave, the brunette turned on his flash light and started on his adventure of the day, set to leave his messy thoughts at the entrance of the cave.

He still did not understand what about their last time alone, a while before leaving for this trip, had prompted him to ask such a ridiculous question of Lillian. What did he expect her to say? Honestly, this would be the one time in their relation—er friendship when Sharif would have preferred being lied to. He did not want to believe that his first and only child actually had been tossed into a refuse bin or worse, incinerated like garbage. It wasn’t something he wanted to think about but it couldn’t be helped. When he had ignorantly asked her if their daughter had been buried at least, he really wasn’t thinking. Or rather he wasn’t thinking with the right frame of reference. Hearing the details of what happened changed the classification of the event his head from an abortion, typically done by choice by insanely selfish persons, to a miscarriage under the most god-awful circumstances imaginable. A circumstance he held akin to rape but didn’t have a name for. He knew it had been very illegal and the doctors who would do such a thing should be barred from practicing medicine forever. He knew there was probably a very strong case for a criminal offense, but if that were the case, no one where ever this had happened would be willing to talk to him. It was hard as hell to, and probably not worth trying to, track a deceased child medically labeled as unwanted. Of course she wouldn’t have known what become of the life they’d made. It had been unintentionally selfish of him to ask her such a thing aloud, for which he immediately apologized.

Apologizing wasn’t a strong suit of his, he was rarely ever wrong because he was also so calculated, but he had clearly put in an effort that afternoon. Though he was genuinely sincere in almost every word he spoke, usually his words were sealed within his lips until his mind worked out every reason as to why they were needed. He words were on retractable leashes tethered to his mind so they could never be lost, usually. Just as usually Sharif was not one to apologize. This conversation with Lillian that day, warranted the destruction of all the young man’s speaking conventions. He wasn’t even allowing himself to consider how this might have looked to passersby; it probably looked somewhat proposal like. By he didn’t care, he had to get this out. He still remembered what he had told her that day, ”Lillian, you know how I feel about the word sorry, but here it’s…there is no other word for me. I know you well enough to know that you probably felt the anger I have been harboring, I need you to understand that most of it wasn’t meant to be directed at you. The situation was so painful for me. There aren’t words for it, but I know that you know exactly what I am talking about. You deserve better than how you’ve been treated, by me and everyone else. The only thing that woman might have gotten right was that you do deserve better than me, I believe that too. I mean, for the record, I was never going to abandon you when I told you I needed time to figure things out, I just, you know fixate on things sometimes, can’t take my focus on them until they’re perfect, working over how to tell my parents was one of those things. By the time I told them…on the day I told them, the day that I wrote the letter and left it for them to find, you told me…that she was gone. I hope that I didn’t give the impression of not owning up to my responsibility. I would feel better if you could forgive me for being such an…a**. If I hurt you I’m sorry, if there’s anything I can do to make it up to you, within reason, say the word. ..I will try at least. Just…can you do one thing for me? Take your happiness at the world’s expense; it’s not worth caring what the world thinks anymore. Life’s too…much work for you to bare that burden.”

He recalled having to catch himself at the end, he almost said that life was too short. Statements like that made people worry about him. His parents had been worried about him when he and Lily made it back to his family’s modular home. His words had shown to be nothing but calm, the reality of his mental state was anything but. He had truly in that moment forgiven Lillian, but he couldn’t understand her parents in light of what he had been told. It didn’t make sense; the Archers seemed like such nice people. What father in their right mind would force his daughter through such a thing? How could a father so easily deprive another, however young, the joy of that came with fatherhood? What had he done that so horrible that he was no longer entitled to that basic human right? Sharif liked to believe that he had made a good impression on her parents, was that suddenly out the door because he had gotten Lillian pregnant? Did that really make him such a terrible human being? Could he have done anything to change their minds? These questions and the maybes and what-ifs that came with them had kept him up until midnight this morning.

His weekend, much like Davik’s was miserable. Of course, it was for much different reasons. Sharif probably shouldn’t have worked so hard to get here. He was probably supposed to still be on bed rest for the splenectomy, probably. His head was a still a mess from Friday’s conversation and his short term memory was shot to hell. He had to guess that he promised not to do anything that would make his situation worse.

The situation was already as bad as it was going to get. A collapsed lung hadn’t been the easiest thing to recover from, but he’d managed to do it, twice, over the summer. He still remembered what had gone wrong vividly. The hole he’d created in his chest cavity hadn’t been as large as it should have been, and his sister found her home from her gaming session at their friend’s Sean’s place way earlier than usual. So intent on not being saved, he’d put her key to the house inside, figuring that she’d just go back to Sean’s and wait for Sharif or their parents to come get her. But no, Asli couldn’t do what a normal teens would do for once, she’d used a rock she’d found on the walk home to break the glass near the lock and get inside. That set off the alarm system and when Asli found him she ran outside to get a neighbor to phone an ambulance, cops and EMTs arrived at the same time. It figures the young seamster would once again be deprived of the one thing he wanted by those who cared about him. These same people had kept him trapped in the house but for the hour it took to walk his sister to and from school, this to keep him safe after what happened on his first day back. The riot, he’d knocked a jock’s front teeth out and gotten shanked in the spleen. They’d done try tried to partial remove it but complications arose during the surgery and the whole damned organ had to go. He’d have to talk antibiotics for the rest of his life now. Life was just a great joy wasn’t it?

To stay true to what he promised he avoided the horses and avoided any undue cardiovascular exercise. Not that he felt like he was missing much with that. Sharif was a New York native had little desire to be near the large mammals even as a small child. And it wasn’t like he needed to stress is organ systems anymore, his lung had already relapsed once doing such things at home, that was a pain he didn’t want to go through again. Especially now since the spleen removal had increased his chances for a recurrence of the same thing yet again. So he turned his attention to the vast nothingness that was this town and the challenge of finding something long forgotten and giving it it’s due. This area was supposed to be full of fossils, but he’d gone out with Minwoo and few others on the first full day here and found nothing. He’d listen to urban legends of the area and done of lot of eating, walking, and billiard playing but overall, this trip for him was just an excuse to out of his home and into a less sanitized environment. After all, how could he rebuild his immune system if he never tested it out?

That must have been the pitch which had gotten his mother to relent and allow him to come here. Sharif couldn’t be sure; he had been unable to focus on much of anything since last talking to Lily. The thoughts of inferiority that brought him to this horrible place at twelve were back again in full force. He couldn’t turn them off, so he hadn’t slept in nearly forty hours, so when finally did, he slept for over twelve without stirring. Until just about now…

Why the hell do my eyes hurt so much? Did I sleep my...darn-it-all. Yes, Sharif had slept in his contacts and with his goggles on. He hadn’t planned on going to sleep at last night, but had and now, now he didn’t to calm down. He just had to remember not to do this again. He unbundled himself from the covers on the upper bunk where he had slept. He gave the vision in his eyes time to become clear again and carefully made his way over to the sink in the kitchenette area. Washing and drying and removing his lenses, he reached for his glasses where he left them in the cabinet. They were a year old but he could still see out of them well enough. How had forgotten to remove his goggles before trying to put on his glasses was beyond him, but he was still somewhat delirious from having just awoken.

Tossing the very cold sink water on to his face, he was a little better now. He made his way to the small fridge after finding a small skillet, which he re-washed, and proceeded to make eggs in a basket, or a fried egg surrounded by toast. He thought it was still time for breakfast, and well he preferred the sausage he’d brought from home. Now that he could see, clearly, Sharif recalled Davik being in the room as well. ”Making eggs and toast literally, and some sausage, do you want a plate?”

                                                  ooc
Argh, I hate intros Not my best one at all, but it works. Outfit in first icon at the bottom. Say something if I need to change something you all.

She had answered his questions to the best of her ability only telling him the honest truth. Sharif deserved to know at least that much she had kept it secret for so long as to why she got the abortion: not that she wanted it in any way, shape or form, but he would finally realized what had caused it. Lillian had stared him directly in the eyes with tears rolling down her cheeks as she told him the story of how her grandmother forced her parents and herself to do the abortion. What Sharif did not know was how she was practically dragged and strapped down, held down even on the table while the doctor was doing it. It had gotten so bad that she was even medicated just to make sure that she would not harm the doctor. Lillian wanted this baby more than anything else in the world and it was taken from her, from him. No one but her knew where Joanna was buried. She had told Sharif the location just in case he wanted to go visit her grave. Lillian spared no expense for the daughter she had lost even if she had to beg her parents to open her account that she used for when she modeled. She wasn't allowed most of her money till she became of age. Lillian had told Sharif she knew she should have done something but what he didn't know was how much hold she had over the family. So she let the topic drop since he found out all he needed to know. The only other person who knew about this was Damian since she trusted him more than anyone else in the world. Including her once love.

Lillian had surprise written all over her face when he started to apologize to her. She wanted to tell him that he didn't have too because it was entirely her fault for acting distant and uncaring about what happened when in reality she cried herself to sleep every night. Not just from his behaviour but also from the loss of her daughter, from not being able to tell him the truth, from pulling herself away from everyone and throwing herself into her work and her (she shuddered at the thought) boyfriend who she had finally broke up with. She told Sharif honestly that she had forgiven him. She already had forgiven him because it wasn't his fault and she was not going to put the blame on him. She gave him a sad smile that day and told him that she had to car about what the world thought of her. Her image was out there and now she could not get it back. What she did not care about was the words of this town. They did not know her nor did they ever try to get to know her. She asked Sharif for a simple thing. She wanted him to smile and enjoy the life that he had. To find someone that would love him for him and not listen to the words of others. She wanted him to be happy even from the smallest of things. That's all she wanted for him. That's all she could ask of him.

When Lillian made it to Sharif's house she gave his parents a small smile. She told them that the trip would be beneficial for him and if anything happened she would make sure that he was alright. No matter what she was still going to be Sharif's friend. She even talked to his sister for a bit before deciding it was time to go home. It had been too long of a day for her. First getting back from England, then dealing with Sharif, then his parents. She couldn't take it anymore and anyone who didn't know her would have thought she would have broken from all the strain of the day but not her. She smiled politely and had a nice conversation with the Hakim's before heading home. When she got home she fell into a deep sleep until the next morning.

The rest of her weekend had been emotional. Her grandmother was wrecking havoc with her once more for being around people that were not English or pure American. Lillian could only roll her eyes at her grandmother before telling that her trip was great, the modeling was fun and she had to go back soon. That kept her grandmother quiet. Lillian knew that even though her parents made a lot of money most of her hard earned money was going towards her grandmother and taking care of everything else. Did she mind? No because she made enough money to support those she loved even if deep down she wanted her grandmother dead or at least gone. She knew the thoughts were bad for her to have but what else could she really think or say on the matter?

When the trip came around Lillian wanted to have fun and forget her problems at home and everything else. She watched over Sharif even if he didn't know it. When it came to horseback riding Lillian did it even if the others complained. She was having fun and no one was going to ruin it for her. So there were those that picked fun at her and all she did was take out a magazine she was in and throw it at their feet. She told the girls that at least she was making something of her life and if they didn't stop her lawyers would take legal action against them. That got them to stop but only for a little while. She rolled her eyes at them and decided they just weren't worth her time. Those that did not want to get to know her could stuff it and those that did could try and she would be nice to them.

Now all she wanted to do was find a calm and relaxing place where she could listen or play her music. Biting her lower lip she walked out of the cabin early in the morning. She had changed and everything in the bathroom since she didn't want the girls to see what was on her stomach. Sighing since she was alone in the middle of the ghost town by herself she lifted her tops. (She had taken her jacket off as soon as she had gotten to where she wanted to be). She stared at the giant X's that marred her skin. Some of them were faint scars others still had the black stitches since her grandmother had. She shook her head since she did not want to think about it. Picking up her violin case she opened it. Lillian never went without her violin, music sheets or anything else related to music. Though she was an Art's major she was more of a music one. No one really knew of how she became big into violin, piano or any of that. She had a nice voice as many students and teachers pointed out but where she got the talent for many instruments that once more was something only Damian knew.

Sighing to herself she tried to think of what she wanted to play. She fingered the violin case before opening it to see her beloved purple violin. She had gotten it as soon as she could afford it. Biting her lower lip she took out the bow and started to finger the violin before she decided to just play the first thing that popped into her head. A smile touched her lips as she began to play Electric Daisy. She took out her iPod and the doc for it so that the background to the song could be playing. She took these things with her wherever she went since she never wanted to be without them. As she began to play she started to dance. Her eyes closed and a smile playing on her lips. She just let the music take her to new places all the time.

Lillian just wanted to forget about everything and everyone. Her mind was too focused on everything and everyone else and not herself. For once in her life she was going to focus all her energy and power to just playing her music and making herself happy. If anyone came over to her and decided to talk then yes she would stop playing but for now she was just happy to be playing. When that song was done she played another one. She would go through all the songs she felt necessary to do to get her mind flowing and her body to relax. She knew with everything that she did one day she would break. She went through her iPod till she decided that she found the song that she was looking for. She began to play it. While once more dancing to what she was playing. It was a little hard while playing the violin but she didn't care. Her body moved with ease. Her hair was thankfully held back by the hat but she knew that if she kept up her moves her long curls would be in her face but even then she would not care. She was having fun.

[Ooc: So I totally forgot to say this before... Her outfit is in the last picture.]

The Girl's cabin with Elena, Adele, Tori....

┃┃__________________________________________

In truth, Emma had been homeless for several years. Four years, two months and twenty days to be exact. Of course she went out of her way to ensure that was the one thing no one knew. For instance she had splurged on a couple sets of new underwear for this trip, just to ensure no had a chance to see her older ones, she wasn't always lucky enough to sleep near a laundry place. Emma was homeless. Movies and television lied, there was nothing fun about it. It was the only thing that was worthwhile to hide about herself. With the exception of where she lived, or rather where she didn't live, Emma keep nothing secret. Emma was open book about everything. Hell one of the first things she'd said to Adele in her friend's language was, something to effect of will that I know I am a lesbian be an issue with you. Emma honestly didn't remember what Adele's response had been, but she hadn't been disgusted, maybe she'd laughed, and said why did it matter. That seemed like something Fay would have said then. Emma wasn't big on censorship, except in rare cases. If she made people uneasy, so the heck what? It was the philosophy with which she approach peer group situations. So what happened after Elena opened the door for her should have been no surprise.

Thanks Elena, but you could've woke up some of the other lazy bums in this room you know...you need to be more careful, you leg is liable to give out on you.” She spoke to Elena as she moved into the small bathroom, she tossed her destined to be wore again pajamas on to the foot of Adele's bunk, only because she knew they weighed next to nothing and wouldn't wake her unofficial sister up. ”If you brought your crutches with you, you should use them just to be on the safe side. That's what I think anyways.” She stated plainly forgetting for a little bit that she wasn't talk to Analise and so she didn't have to henpeck. With her new schedule, there just wasn't enough time in the day for the three of them to hang out like Emma would have liked. A single weekend would not make up for that, but it was a start. Wasn't it? Emma was kicked out her inner musings by the sheer shock of the cold a** bullshit masquerading as hot water coming from the shower. [********! No, ******** that, no, no oh hell no, no way in hell, ******** that s**t!” It was amazing how fast Emma got out of the shower, a bird bath in the sink would still be cold as ******** but at least she wouldn't run such a high risk of the pneumonia, besides that was so much faster. Emma was out of the bathroom in less than fifteen minutes, she took extra time to ensure that she hadn't left anything gross in the sink.

Her drying towel was on her head for several reasons. She had already placed her underwear on, so there was no indecency to consider. Breast didn't count because she was in a room with her play sister and a bunch of straight girls. No one would be looking at her breast, she rather liked them but she knew them not be all the special. They were only a thirty-four B, and that was safe for network television, so it should have been fine for this room. She appreciated not having a full C now that she did a lot of running, dribbling drills, and stealing practice and such, she suffered less pain from falls to the ground than her bigger busted teammates. If she could honestly call those bitches such a word. Secondly her everything else dried quickly, her hair, did not. She needed the towel to ensure that her hair actually dried. Why didn't she have her bra on yet? Simple, she hadn't put on a bra that closed the back in a long time, closing them herself left them insanely on comfortable or horribly twisted. The later was embarrassing, and she didn't want to have out with Victoria on what had been wonderful outing for her.

She walked over to Adele's bag and reached into the place where she knew her pink haired friend kept lotion. She thought about putting some on and then she remembered, with her genes it was a bad idea to go bra-less, she walked over to where her friend was sleeping, and touched her face with her still freezing hands and tapped a little. Usually she would have grabbed one of her arms and shook, but honestly to touch the scars would make would bring back to her mind how close she'd come to losing her best friend, and she wasn't about to ruin her good day. Once she got some irritated motion from her friend to know that she was mostly awake, she apologized and made her simple request. ”Sorry to wake you sleeping beauty, but I could use a little help with this thing, by the way, I'm borrowing your lotion okay?”

OOC: I am sorry for how long this took, I got distracted by listening some of my childhood jams. You know, “No Scrubs”, “Waterfalls” and “Creep” by TLC? Took me way back. Anyways, I decided use two different colors for Spoken words and Signed words. Is this all clear enough?

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━I'm so sick, infected with, where I live
Let me live without this, empty bliss, selfishness!━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

xxxx Nag, nag, nag. That's all those people ever did. They nagged at every move that she made and every decision that she came to. She had an image to uphold and they reminded her of the consequences should she ever forget. How could she? They had taken everything from her. The love that she had found, the person she had come to be...all of it. It was gone. Lost in the facade she had created in a desperate fit of self preservation. All of the events and planning and parties that she put on or attended could not fill the void within her soul. This person, this girl staring at her in the mirror with haunting brown eyes, was not the Victoria Rosen of old. This girl, though having been around for awhile, was a stranger. A shell that one day she would get to shed. Oh how glorious that day would be, she thought to herself. Once she came of age and was able to rip herself from their clutches, she could be free. Free to love who she wanted, to do as she pleased, and to never answer to these uptight and unimaginative persons who called themselves her parents. Those annoying and ever present reminders that pushed and pulled and molded her to what they wanted her to be. The preparations for this weekend had been no different. They had warned her about how she was expected to behave. As if Tori wasn't already used to putting on that fake smile and laughing a laugh that grit on her nerves every time that she heard it. Did anyone else hear the tinge of sadness? Did they hear the regret in her voice when she made fun of someone and put down their beliefs? Couldn't anyone see the real girl within? Not for the first time, the girl was forced to swallow down her thoughts and move forward with life. Soon. Soon she could be free.

xxxx A ghost town wasn't exactly her idea of a great class trip, but the location mattered little. What really mattered was getting out of her prison. Away from the restraints of people who didn't know a thing about her but were supposed to be the closest people to her. Before this trip she had finished up some last minute details for various activities through the next month and then slipped away on the bus. There were people there that made her nervous for herself. Namely Emma....She was so open about who she was and her preference for her own gender that it made Tori nervous. There was no love lost between Emma and Tori as the world saw it, but it pained the dark haired girl every time she had to put the other girl down. Every word that left her mouth as an insult directed at her for her way of life, killed a part of Tori's soul. Everything she said these days were so fake and forced. It was little wonder that once the buses arrived at their destination that Tori threw herself into every bulletin on the itinerary. Every activity and amenity offered she took advantage of. Only in those quiet moments before sleep claimed her did she allow herself to relax. She thought on her life and where it was headed. If it were up to her parents she would remain the impostor in her skin. They would have her go to some fancy college and become a lawyer or other fancy, well paid stick in the mud. As her thoughts roamed, her eyelids drifted shut to sweet slumber.

xxxx While falling asleep had been the easy part, waking up had proved incredibly hard. It was the day that they would all leave and she would be forced to walk back into that house with them. The house of Teresa and Kevin Rosen. Long ago Victoria had stopped calling them mother and father. They had waived those rights by stepping on her and pushing her down with their beliefs and expectations. They didn't so much care about what happened to her as much as they cared about how she affected their image. A grimace formed on her face as she was forced to wake for the day. Sleep had been easy despite the inferior quality of the mattress in this bunk bed. How long had she slept? Her eyelids still felt heavy and when she went to run her hand through her dark hair the curls were dreadfully tangled. Tori groaned and rolled over, pulling her blanket tighter around her. She didn't want to get up because getting up would lead to going home. And yet, she really needed to get going. There were things that needed her attention and she wouldn't let down the others involved simply because she didn't feel like doing it anymore. Tori sighed to herself and threw away the covers, only to mutter to herself about how cold it was and shiver. Victoria and cold weather simply did not get along.

xxxxThe sound of the door opening and someone greeting whoever was on the other side was at the back of Tori's mind. She didn't much care who came and went as long as they left her alone. The whole trip she had been surrounded by people. It had been exhausting instead of the relaxing and invigorating trip that she had wanted. Now she was climbing out of bed and searching for her phone. She needed to shut off the alarm before it went off and woke anyone else up. It took her a moment to find her phone twisted and buried in her blanket, and what she found irritated her. It was dead. Dead as a door nail. Where was her charger? Would she have time to find it and charge it before the buses left? As the sound of the shower could be heard, Tori started the search for her charger, only to realize about fifteen minutes later that she didn't have it with her. Had she forgotten the damn thing? She retraced her steps and realized with a clarity that she had meant to pack it in her bag when her parents had cornered her to give her another lecture. She had left it lying on her bed when she had angrily snatched up her bags. Victoria could feel a headache coming on. This was going to suck. Not that her phone was her life line, but it was important.

xxxx Tori sighed and turned to get up and head to the bathroom. She no longer heard the shower running which was a good thing as she needed to pee desperately. Stretching out for a moment she looked around the room and froze. Emma was in the cabin now...but she wasn't clothed. At least, not entirely. She was leaning over one of the other beds and signing to the girl laying there. Tori didn't know the first thing about signing and therefore had no idea what was being said, but her brain wasn't even trying to process that information. Instead her eyes were drawn to the exposed breasts of the other girl. She felt her mouth go dry. When was the last time that she had seen a pair of breasts? It had been so long that she didn't even remember...and even now her brain was telling her that she shouldn't be looking. It was wrong...It was going to get her into trouble. No good could come from her ogling a half naked girl. Hadn't she been trying to stuff this side of her down? But it all came rushing back. The lust for the lush feel of a woman's body pressed against her own. The unforgettable feel of soft, silky skin as her hands ran over every inch of her lover's body. Tori shivered with memories that flooded her brain. How she missed that woman. The first love of her life and she had been torn away from the young girl's arms by people too rooted within their religion and faith to see that there was nothing wrong with loving someone of the same gender. And wasn't this just the kicker? The first pair of breasts she saw in a long time and they belonged to the one girl that Tori was always putting down for her lesbianism. Oh the irony and torture.

xxxx Forcing herself to look away, Tori gathered the few supplies that she would need to freshen up. Stealing a glance back at the half naked Emma. Stealing herself, she stood and walked towards the bathroom at a pace that was just a little too fast to be casual. Words that should have come to her naturally if Emma would have just been wearing some damn clothes stuck at the back or Tori's throat. She couldn't trust herself to speak for the fear that what she had intended to say wouldn't come out and rather she'd say something that would out her for the lust that she felt. It had been so long. The urge to reach out and caress the soft skin, to cup just one....Tori shook herself free of her preoccupation with Emma's nakedness. At the door to the bathroom she hissed, "Put some clothes on for God's sakes, dyke!" Then she disappeared inside, slamming the door to hide her shame for the nasty comments she was forced to make to maintain an image that she detested. Anything to keep herself out of boot camp...How selfish.

The trip wasn't as bad as most people were making it to be. Sure it made no sense to him why they were in the middle of a Ghost town and they were all stuck together. The only person that he really talked too during the entire trip seemed to be Emma. It also helped because she was sharing a room with all of the guys. It was weird but it didn't bother him. He knew no one was going to try anything and if they did there would be hell to pay because he knew Emma liked girls. He knew that she was very open with how she felt and he wished he could do the same. He had no idea how he really felt though. He liked girls but his time with that guy also seemed. He didn't want to think about it. No instead he was just going to do his own thing and not worry about anything for awhile.

Taylor did the horseback riding and whatever else was on the agenda because he was a sports fanatic. It was who he was and no matter what that was all he was ever going to be. The sports guy, the jock. He was going to try to win back all his scholarships, that was if he didn't try to do it again. He had a lot of problems though no one would know it, especially with his sexuality. He had no idea what he was or what he liked anymore. All he knew was that for now Emma, his brother, his sister and his teammates needed him and he would do all that he could. Even if it was for a short while he would do it.

Getting up from his bed he decided to get dressed. It seemed that Emma was gone, probably to the girls cabin to get dressed and the like. It was probably awkward for her to get dressed around guys and she needed to do girl things. Taylor did not want to think about it or know to tell the truth. Putting on his boots he decided that he would go for a walk somewhere. He also grabbed his iPod and his headphones. Maybe take a jog around the place or think of what he could do. All he knew was that he could not be around here right now.

Sticking his headphones in his ears he left the cabin and started to jog. As long as he knew where to come back too it didn't matter how far he went. There was too much on his mind and he needed to think straight. Nothing was working out the way he had planned and now he needed to get things back on track. Make friends once more, make sure his brother and sister were doing well in school and help Emma do the best she could be in all her sporting events. He would try to make her even more of a leader than she was now. Sort of like he was.

Pulling his hood up he began to start to slowly think a little clearer but his mind was still wondering about. He had seen Lillian a little ways off from where he was jogging but he couldn't hear her music because of his own. At least that's what he figured she was doing since she had her violin. Giving her a nod when he passed her he continued on. She was good and most people knew it. He had seen her in the music room a couple times but of course she wasn't someone he really paid attention too. Even if she was pretty she knew she was going through her own things. Taylor knew that from all the rumours that were spread about her. He tried to make some of the people stop but they just wouldn't let up. He shook his head this was one of the reasons why he wanted to be far away if he ever graduated from high school. These people knew nothing about anyone nor knew their pain. It was annoying and sad to him. He tried to be a stronger person for everyone he knew but he knew he lacked strength somewhere.

There were others that had rumours spread about them as well in the school. It was why he and the pact stayed close yet so far apart. No one needed to know about anyone but the rumour mills seemed to think that they did. Damian was an example and he could be seen hanging with Lillian and there were rumours about him. The same with Sharif and the others. It was getting to the point where it was pissing Taylor off and he wanted everyone to stop. He had gotten some of his teammates to stop but sometimes they just wouldn't listen even after a beating. Shaking his head the hood fell off and he just continued to run. That was all he could do.

[OOC: Taylor's outfits will be the last picture at the bottom as well. So.. This is one of the longest ones I have done for Taylor... Anyone that wants to talk to him is free too.]

Davik reckoned it was about ten when he got up, showered, and dressed while everyone was still asleep. He spent no more than seven minutes between changes of clothes and emerged from the closet masquerading as a loo barely ten minutes after getting out of his bed. He was wearing jeans that felt identical to yesterday’s – they might’ve been the same pair, even; he was pretty lax when it came to things like that – and a shirt that was probably black. It looked black to him, anyway. But that wasn’t saying much. It could have been highlighter pink and it would have looked black to him. Davik found his iPod again, found one of the stools in the kitchenette, and plonked himself down to continue his book. After about thirty seconds, he stood and dragged the stool over until he could lean against a wall, then sat back down.

The book ended with Mr Tulip, woodworm extraordinaire, working his way through an antique wooden desk which once would have reduced him to tears of artistic joy. That had been an interesting way to end off, not that he expected anything less. Davik didn’t linger over the ending, but went instead to pick another book. He scrolled to the very top of the menu and then made his way down one at a time, counting off the clicks as they sounded. He dithered over some of the classics, but eventually returned to the fantasy series he’d been working through and picked a book at random. For a while, he sat listening to Rincewind’s unlikely dash through good ol’ UU, a race which Davik knew would end up in complete chaos, a bit of time travel, and the king of demons being sequestered away in a nice quiet office with some potted plants. Nah, he wasn’t in the mood for that. He went back and repeated the process from the beginning. This time, the familiar gruffness of the writings of Tak and the accompanying trollish graffiti hit the spot. Davik settled back against the wall, shifting his shoulders until he could rest more comfortably against the slightly uneven wood.

About the time when Vimes was standing guard over the dwarf mine in Treacle Mine Road, people started to wake up. Davik clicked the volume on his book down and turned his ruined eyes toward the noise, automatically tracking the kid he only knew as “sports boy who tried to off himself.” Sports Boy got up and moved around for a while, and then the door creaked open and slammed shut. Davik stopped paying attention to him, clicked the volume up again, and let the tension in his shoulders ease back into his normal state of casual suspicion. As the duke of Ankh read that naff old book about the cow to his son, the other boy finally got himself out of bed. What was his name? It was something like Sherriff. Davik thought about it for a second or two but decided that he didn’t care enough to spend more time wondering. It had to be about noon now, didn’t it? No, well past, he’d bet. He fussed around for a bit while the blind boy kept track of him with the ear not currently clogged up with fiction. It was those pesky trust issues again. He wouldn’t trade ‘em for the world. Sherriff walked past him. Cabinets opened and then shut and were followed by the unmistakable sound of a pan being set on a stovetop. A minute later, the smell of frying butter made Davik wrinkle his nose. Sherriff spoke, presumably to him, offering him breakfast.

Bit late for it,” Davik drawled. His smooth Estuary accent was still as strong now, after six years in America, as it had ever been. He considered the offer for a while, flicking the earbud out so that he’d have both ears free to listen. His head rolled against the wood behind him as he turned to face the smell and, presumably, Sherriff. Finally, he shrugged one shoulder and pulled the stool back to the bit of counter space which served as a table. “Is it poisoned?” he asked without any real curiosity, twirling a piece of still-drying hair around his finger as if that would make it dry faster. “Only, there’s better ways to go and poison’s tricky at the best of times.” Someone would probably get upset at him for saying it, but Davik didn’t give a toss about them. Life and death were as good as the same and he’d not talk about them as if the difference mattered.

You can whine until your mouth dries up
You can hang your head and wonder why
You can die or you can stand upright
And never go down again.

It was the last day of the trip and Adele strangely wanted to sleep. Perhaps because her and her dear friends had done so much together. The horseback riding which she nearly thought she wouldn't survive when her horse had spooked, the tours which she wouldn't have known what was going on if it weren't for Sharif for signing what was being said, and her favorite, making smores and eating them until she could no more. Though when some marshmallow got stuck in her pink hair, it was quite some work getting it out in the blasted things they called showers. Of course, they weren't that bad though when it was more cold water than warm, one became less fond of those showers.

So there she slept, of course not hearing a sound as the other ladies moved about in their cabin. Adele was lost in her dreams, not knowing what was truly going on around her until she felt freezing taps upon her face. At first, she thought it was another bug and her hand wiggled around her face in hopes to scare it off. Then, when she felt another tap, she decided to open her eyes to see if it really was a bug. Her eyes slowly opened, she blinked several times and probably had an irritated expression upon her face. Once she was woken enough, she saw it who it was.

It was Ems..and...,her eyes looked slightly down and there was her boobs; her boobs?! Adele's eyes widened and her body jumped suddenly. Her head it the bottom of the top bunk and she let out a squeak or some noise. Her head hurt a tad in one spot as she rubbed it slightly; looking at Em's hands to know what she was saying for the most part. Adele nodded and gave a embarrassed smile. She wasn't sure why she spazzed on the sight of seeing Em's breasts . It usually doesn't bother her when seeing them. Perhaps it was just because she didn't expect them to be the second thing she saw when she woke up that morning.

Then her eyes caught the girl a distance away from her and Em's. Her brow raised in deep curiosity as she noticed the girl staring at Emma's breasts rather too long and almost in want of her friend's twins. What..the f***? She thought as she saw this happening. Tori is a b***h to Em all the time and now she is eying Emma as if she were in front of a candy shop! This didn't make sense to Adele at all and if Tori knew how to sign, she'd for sure confront her. She wasn't a big fan of Tori , for obvious reasons. Her eyes then went back to Emma as her friend finished signing to her.

Adele sat up and crossed her legs as she signed back to Emma. "Good morning Em. Yes, I help you with that. Ok." Adele paused before she decided to share with Emma what she saw.
"Tori look #at your boobs for long time. Why do you think? She should shove it up her a**. She have no right to look #at you from way she treat you."
She gave a soft smile to Emma before she raised her hands, ready to help Em with putting her bra on.

              {OOC;; Sorry for the shortness. Just getting back to posting as Adele here, and I didn't have her deaf before. Something new. [: I'll make bigger posts later. If I do need to add or change anything, let me know! P.S. # means she fingerspelled which means, she signed each letter out to make the word. .}

Feyja could not explain how great it felt to sleep in a bed that was not her own. Sure that was a weird statement but it was completely true all the same. It was amazing to sleep without her parents hovering over her or her brother checking in on her like he was her father instead. Even the long bus ride out to the ghost town was somewhat more relaxed. That though had gone away after some time when no matter how she shifted she was uncomfortable. When they had arrived at the ghost town, she had looked around at it not necessarily with 'awe' but a sense of curiosity. It brought to mind movies she would sometimes find her father watching or when her brother was going through his cowboy faze. Even if it was a bit more modernized then that. Anyway, back to the whole sleeping thing. It may not have been the most comfortable bed, but the sleep was great. She slept with her ear buds in, even if the music did turn off somewhere around midnight. When she woke up, she was happy that it was of her own accord, even if it was somewhere around 8:30 in the morning. Feyja had been careful not to wake any of the other girls in the room when she grabbed clean clothes to go take a shower. When the nearly frozen water hit her in the shower stall, she had the inkling that maybe she had just stepped into Antarctica rather than a shower. "What the hell?" She hissed under her breath. Feyja didn't think she had ever taken as fast of a shower as she had then. After she had towel dried her hair, she had to double check to make sure she got all of the shampoo out of it. When she got dressed, it was not until her boots were on did her goosebumps go down. She was glad that it was autumn and probably would not heat up too much. Being able to wear longer sleeves meant that she could cover her now aggravated red skin. It was only like that because she had used her towel to try and regain the feeling in her feet and legs, using friction to get warmth back. After she had hung up her towel, to dry, she slipped out of the bathroom then out the cabin door, locking it behind her. As she stood outside, zipping her jacket up completely, she drew a breath of, cold, but refreshing air. Of course almost no one was up. Although in the distance she could hear someone playing music. It was beautiful and Fey wanted to find out who was playing but she also did not want to disturb them. So she walked in the opposite direction, listening as the violin grew softer and softer.

If peace was really the correct word for it after all. Quiet would be closer to what she felt as Fey walked through the town. It held a certain chill to it, aside from the initial cold of the weather. She could feel the empty, lifelessness of it. Each time she looked in through a window she got another glimpse into what she felt was a forgotten century. It made her think also of her private school just before she started at her current school. To her it held the similarity that no matter what you did, someone felt some form of discomfort around or in it. For Fey it was the fact that she swore she felt or heard the lives past walking around her. It was a ghost town after all. Plus it probably had something to do with all the nerves run high from recent events. Though it didn't make her turn away and go back, rather she kept on. Unaware of how long or far she had walked, she slowed by a bar or something. Empty, just as everything else. But on the porch there were several benches and tables. She walked over to see if the porch would hold up, and it did as she walked across and tested out a bench. When nothing snapped and dust didn't explode around her, she relaxed against the hard boards of the bench back. There would be no point going back right now. No one was up yet, she guessed, and she didn't want to wake anyone to get inside the cabin. Or else she would have a bunch of angry looks all day. At least she assumed she would. So she leaned forward, putting her elbows on her knees and her chin in her hand. When she closed her eyes, she felt herself walking back through memories rather than dreams. No she was not asleep, just thinking. Sage would have loved this place, she was sure of it. So would her brother. The thought of the former made her light spirit sober somewhat. Of course she would have to think about him right now. Because everyone thought about their dead lovers on their vacations.

For once Feyja didn't block her thoughts about Sage. She thought of the good times instead but did not let herself shed a tear. Her parents kept telling her she needed to rough it through trauma more often. They may have been right, but that was just not possible for now. With a sigh, Fey pushed herself back up to her feet. "Stop sulking." She scolded herself. People went on trips to enjoy new experiences. She was supposed to be enjoying her brief freedom from her parents. Fey walked off the porch but didn't walk back in the direction of the cabin. Instead she walked the opposite way. She might as well pass a few more hours while everyone got their sleep. And she did, she walked for about four hours total. She figured by the time she started walking back to the cabin she had walked the circumference of the town maybe twice. Only then did the pang in her stomach become strong enough to the point she couldn't ignore it anymore. The walk back, from the other side of the town, was slow because she made it slow. She couldn't really help it. There was nothing she wanted less than to return only to leave back to her parents and the five hour road trip. If she had been in a hurry, the walk probably would have taken her above twenty minutes. Instead, with her poking around at the buildings and procrastination, it took over an hour. It was probably around 2:00 in the afternoon. When she walked up to the door, she tried the handle, relieved to find it wasn't locked and walked on in. When she saw Emma and Adele trying to get Em's bra on, she couldn't help but find some strange amusement in it. Well, it was either that or be offended. And she decided not to get on the bad side of people on the last day, mainly because of the bus ride. "Good morning Emma, Adele." She greeted as she walked over to her bunk. Then she gave another warm smile to Elena in greeting. She sat herself on her bunk (not sure if she's top bunk or bottom sooo non specific for me) and looked over to Victoria's. So she was the one in the shower then, since Lillian had already been gone when she had left. Fey wondered if she was in one of her stereotypical prep moods again...
