I'm abnormal ! Like normal, but better!!!

Looks like today was going to be quite the adventure in itself. First ramming into one of her swim teammates, not to mention feeling horrible about the whole ordeal. Well, that was the kind of person that Raychel was, she wasn't a strong person, wanting to just fade into the background after something like this. Before she could even figure out what had just done, her phone went off and she immediately reached for her phone to see that Brie had texted her back about the swim question. The girl smiled, Brie was such a nice girl (at least to her, cause that's all she was truely worried about), and always seemed to be there for her. But the message did make her feel like the blonde she was; honestly, how could she forget about that swim meet?

Sending the message, her undiveded attention when back to Rylinn. With her constant apologizing for running into the other girl, all she got was a "No worries Raych, no one got hurt." Looking herself over, then checking the other girl to check to see if she was hurt in any way, she came to the conclusion that Rylinn was right about no one being hurt. Placing a hand in the center of her chest, she gave a relieved sigh "That's good."

"Well, considering it is before 8 am, I figure I'm doing pretty well." The girl nodded, understanding where she was coming from, despite being wide awake at the moment "How about you? How've you been?" Now it was Raychel's turn to shrug "I've been okay, been spending a lot of time with my sister, but that's never a bad thing, is it?"

It seemed to be almost out of nowhere when a new voice came to join in on their conversation "Good morning Raychel" Turning around, Raychel saw the smiling face and the wave from Brie. The blonde gave her a pleasant smile in return and a nod of her head"Morning to you too Brie." She quietly listened to the greeting directed towards Rylinn before the bell rang. Almost immediately, the blonde started freaking out, grabbing the sides of her head and mumbling to herself "Oh no oh no oh no - can't be late to class again. Talia'll kill me if I am . . ." She took a few steps back and looked up at the two "I'll see you guys later. I gotta go" And with that, she turned over her shoulder and ran off to AP World History, grabbing the first seat that she could find.

MIles kept watching as Leora and Anthony kept on their teasing and conversations. It was strange, meeting someone and then meeting the person that they have a really good connection with. It made Miles think about if he had a strong connection with anybody else in the world. Well anybody else that was around his age anyway. The connection between Leora, or Lea as Tony called her, and Tony was pretty strong. This was made really clear when Leora - yes he was going to call her Leora unless Leora told her to call her something else- took a sip of Tony's drink without him even objecting whatsoever.

"Well you must really be close, even having similar tastes in coffee." Miles noticed, and he then said the thing about how it would be nice about doing what he loved and how getting paid as just a nice bonus to all that. He saw the smile that crept up on Leora's face. Did it really hit her that much? He didn't know at the time, but he certainly got his answer when Leora leant up to him, kissing his cheeks and calling him a sweetheart. Was Miles embarassed? Absolutely, considering that they just met and he didn't mean to talk about something that seemed so personal to her but still. "Thank you"He said, feeling his cheeks get warm, and cool down some as Leora and Tony kept talking aagin..

Now this was strange. Miles right now was rather embarrassed about getting kisses from pretty much a stranger to him, and Leora seemed to have no qualms about it whatsoever. It was almost like she did things like this all the time. So there were two options. Either she had the kind of reputation people put her up to, or she simply was the kind of person who showed affection often. He liked to think that that as the case. Leora didn't seem like a slut. Now that Miles could focus on things again, he noticed that Leora was apologizing on Tony's behalf, something about not saying hello. Oh. Miles hadn't even noticed that in the beginning. He assumed that Tony had said hi when he came in to both of them.

"He wasn't being rude. He probably didn't hear me." He said, not hurt by the fact that Tony had completely ignored him. Well if he was hurt by it, he certainly wouldn't be showing it. Miles wasn't exactly an overly emotional person and he wasn't going to let his emotions dictate what he did. Sure if there was something he was passionate about, that would be different. In that case, if he had a passion for something, or even if he needed to get something done, he would get this certain fire in his eye; this would be best described as Miles working hard to get what he wanted and highly determined to make sure it happened.

Miles picked up on Leora saying something along the lines of him being okay until Tony came into the picture. "I don't mind the company, honestly I don't."He said just leaning back in his booth as Leora and Tony kept whispering. Leora then turned to him, saying that they weren't talking about him in case he was worried about that. "Oh. Okay." He said. Now why would they be expecting him to think that they were talking about him? Maybe it was a bout of reverse psychology in a way and they really were talking about him or something. Well technically, Leora said that they weren't insulting him; talking wasn't necessarily insulting. Miles looked at the time, and was pleasantly surprised.

Here he was, thinking that it was way past his first period class, but it wasn't. Heck, it hadn't even hit first period and wouldn't for about three to five minutes. So this was a good thing. He wanted to go to class, even if it meant leaving Leora and Tony alone. "Um...Leora, Tony."He said to catch their attention. He continued talking, whether he had their attention or not. "It was really nice talking to you two, but class is about to start and even though it's the first week, I really don't want to miss anything...so I think I'll make my leave."He said, wanting to sip more of his drink but he was all done with it anyway. "I'm just being a third wheel anyway. " He smiled.

An idea popped into his head.Quickly, he took out a piece of paper and scribbled down his cell phone number, tearing off the part and giving it to Leora. "I feel kind of bad about leaving though, so you can let me know if I can make it up to you" He said before standing up, getting his things together. "Bye...and it was nice talking to you"He said, throwing away his empty container and effecitvely walking out the door and starting his car. But still, time was running out. "Great, I can't believe I'm gonna be late."He frowned; he had to get there! Eventually, he made it to his class and waited for things to get going. Honors Geography and he didn't know anyone in there so far.
