I'm not like you.....

Jason tried to ignore the look that Rose was giving him knowing that she was probably up set with him for doing what he had done. Rose's parents said that the old Victorian was Rose's and that she was eight teen and that they wouldn't cut her off but they wanted her out of the house. Rose's father said that Rose had been nothing but trouble since she was born, Jay glared at him he couldn't believe Rose's father was such a jerk to her and was glad they were allowing her to leave. Rose's father said that he didn't want her around anymore and that she was an embarrassment to the family. "Rose is better off with out your family" JD snapped at Rose's father and he looked at him fearful again. Rose said that she would leave and that they wouldn't see her again, Rose apologized for the last eighteen years and say that she was also sorryfor not being who they wanted her to be.

Rose turned on Jason and asked if they could leave and he nodded his head as Rose picked up the suitcases that the maid gave to her and Rose put her hood up again. Jay turned to follow her and shut the doors after they walked out, Rose sighed and asked JD if he saw what she had meant. Jason looked back at the house and to Rose and nodded and Rose said that she had told him they weren't very nice, "That doesn't give them an excuse to treat you like that." Jay said after Rose had told him that she couldn't be prim and proper the way they wanted her to be and that she would have rather climbed tress and roll around in the mud with the guys. JD didn't want to listen to this the more Rose told him about how they had treated her the more he wanted to go back in there and punch her father, of course it was not in his nature to hit a girl.

Rose then turned to Jason and smiled at him through the hood and the tears and said that she was glad that she had found him and that if she didn't she would still be miserable and friendless. Rose then said how she couldn't believe how people treated each other and he shook his head and walked closer to Rose and wrapped his arms around her hugging her close to his chest. Jason kissed Rose's forehead in a brotherly way, "This world is crazy..but I am here for you" Jay said and let Rose go to take out the pack of cigarettes and took one out and placed it in between his lips and took out his book of matches and used the final match to light the cigarette. "I wasn't able to smoke...I could barley listen to it...I had to do something" JD said and took a drag off of the cigarette took it from his mouth inhaled the smoke holding it in for a second and exhaled the smoke.

"You can say what you want, but don't act like you care..."

Nick chuckled. "You didn't tell me that. You just thought we would, but, since I thought so first, I WIN!" He said, smiling. He felt so, almost giddy. It was good to be happy, despite how horrible he'd feel later.
He'd just dated his first guy. Made out with his first guy. And held hands with his first guy. And, now, the more he thought about it, the more he wanted to throw-up. What had he gotten himself into?!
He was dating another man, for God's sake!
He turned red, feeling ashamed.
How could he do this...to his parents...
"I have to break up with him!" He said, freaking out. He would, if he didn't calm down, have a panic attack.

"I've always wanted to ruin something beautiful..."

Maxine sighed, shaking her head, and dusting a couple of strands of her dark hair out of her face. This had to happen eventually, but she had hoped it wouldn't have to. Maxine took hold of Nick's shoulders and walked him backwards to a bench, and put pressure on him, forcing him to sit. She put her hands on her hips and took a step backwards. "Take a deep breath, Nick," she motioned with her hands, "In, and out." she repeated this three times. "Why do you have to break up with him?"

"...but then I remember that it's your fault I'm like this."

"I just...can't be gay...I feel so...ashamed. So...disgusting! I don't wanna' be!" He started getting angry. He wasn't going to take his anger out on Maxine.
"Why...?"
He said, starting to cry, and put his head on Maxine's shoulders.

"I've always wanted to ruin something beautiful..."

Maxine gave him a brief hug, as if it would make him feel any better-- she rather doubted it. "Do you think it's your fault you're gay? No, it's not Nick. You can't help it. And the sooner you get used to it, the easier it will be to live with it." She stepped out from under him, taking hold of his arms just under the shoulder, "You wouldn't want to run off your first boyfriend, would you?" She asked.

"...but then I remember that it's your fault I'm like this."

Nick gave a slight laugh and sniffed his runny nose.
"Yeah, I guess not. He is really cute..." Nick said to Maxine.

Nick would just have to get use to it, then would grow more comfortable. Maybe he could tell people, sooner or later. Hopefully later, for now. But, he was in need of a party, and would throw one tonight, at his place. Enough people would get the word around quick enough, and with him sending emails, texts, and calls, lots of people would be there.

"You wanna' come to a party at my place tonight? Gonna' be fun!" Nick said, grabbing his car keys and getting up. "Because, if so, we need to go to Walmart and get as much food and beer as possible."
Then he remembered he himself, along with Maxine, was under-age.
"Okay, someone else can get the beer, but come on!"

[I'm going to make an extra character, though, probably a side one, so it doesn't take up a slot.]

Maxine laughed, thinking of Nick's past parties, they were almost always rowdy and out of control. "Sure, I might even be able to to find us someone to buy the beer!" she told him with a smirk. Of course, one thing would lead to another and, eventually, people would be there they didn't know. Maxine knew how to counter anyone calling in a disturbance of peace, she'd do the honors of skipping around inviting the neighbors.

"Okay, here's my phone, call as MANY people as possible. But, still, come with me to the store!" He said, grabbing her hand and dragging her to the car.
They were going to Walmart. Right then, right there.
He got in the car, opening the door for her to get in. They had a party to organize in less then nine hours.
They could do it.

Maxine nodded, she was good at this sort of thing and speed dialed a number even as Nick was dragging her out of the mall, coffee and all. "Hey, party, tonight, show up," she gave the address and hung up, not waiting for an answer. She was already dialing another number as they got into the car. All of the parties Maxine had organized had been in less than twelve hours, they had nine, it was stretching it, but if they were careful about their time, they could do it. She had no doubt.

|| WALMART AND PARTY STORE, SKIPPED! =D ||

Nick got home, the mini cooper crowded with things, like; fog machines, bubble machines, tons of glitter, tons of chips, soft drinks, beer, everything for the perfect party. Even arrays of different colored lights. Like black ones.

"Comone, awesome Maxine! We have a party to set up. Then we should go around the neighborhood. Though..." In a rich neighborhood like Nick's, the house's were spaced way apart, and almost no one heard the music from his parties.
He got out of the car, grabbing tons of bags, and turning the door knob to open the door with his left hand, that could barely do the job.

She pulled the rest of the bags out of the trunk, and closed it with her free arm. "Alright, I'll start on balloons, you work on food," Maxine told him, starting to put more fragile pieces away under cupboards and things, to make room for the decorations. She tied her dark hair back into a tight ponytail and got to work.
They already had something like twenty people that had said they would come, and they were down to seven hours.
