Welcome to the Graffiti Bar! Where anything can happen in an instant. This place was made to help street kids and alike off the streets and have a safe hang out. Though it says Bar, it is more like a milk bar then an alcohol one. It is available for any ages, family and none family.

The Layout

The Front of the bar Has a huge window that can go up like a garage door. It is mostly open in the summer. Right by the windows is the tables and chairs and against the wall are a couple of booths. Near the back is couches and lounge chairs, as well a bean bags which all face towards the stage where anyone can play their band, do poems and all the like. On the left wall is the bar area. Stools at the counter facing the blackboard full of the menu. There's a back room full of walls that people can spray paint on. Every week it is fixed up and re-painted.

Chase had opened opened his shop once again. Unlocking the door, and wiping down the window he spotted a light snowfall. Winter hit his business hard, but he always managed to get through it. Most of his winter customers were the homeless trying to keep warm as much as they could on a cup of coffee. Though the male never had the heart to kick them out. With a yawn he went behind the counter and waited for those who came.

He couldn't believe it. Not a week into his waiter-slash-student gig, he was kicked out. Well, sure they had their reasons (the things he did for that scholarship wasn't something that was generally approved) but still. He was out of a job and out of things to do. In his post-depression haze, Aoi had walked past shops, stalls,
                  devoid of purpose. What now?
He kicked a rather large gravel that was in his way and watched as it rolled, then bumped into the bar on the opposite street. Graffiti Bar. Sighing for the fifth time since breakfast, he made his way to the seemingly empty bar.

The blue-haired youth gazed uninterestedly once inside. Seemed like a normal bar, but the lack of people inside convinced him to stay. At least for today. He made his way to the bar, "You got any hot chocolate? I'm freezing my balls out outside," he greeted the man behind the counter with a slight nod. Why is the name graffiti bar anyway? It's not like the cafe/bar was even decorated in graffiti.

It seemed like a long day, though it was only past noon. Sure it was a somewhat new place, been in the little junction for a few months anyways. He didn't blame it for being empty, for it was winter and not much people like the cold. As Chase had began to clean around the sink when he felt a breeze fill in his shop. With a smile and a nod he began to make the hot beverage and lightly chuckled. "That's winter for ya." He stated as he placed the mug on the counter. It even came with two little caramel squares. With a point to the side near the register he began to clean up his mess. "You can add marshmallows, whip cream and all that if you wish over there. To blow of steam there is a room in the back to write on the walls." Chase quickly added. The boys face told it all, that his day was as long as his own.

The drink was a godsend in this godforsaken week of his. Truth be told, he wasn't expecting something so... quaint, so to speak, from a self-proclaimed bar. Aoi eyed the drink for a few seconds before taking it into his hands, sighing at the warmth it provided. He peered at where the marshmallows and what-not, excitedly making his way when he realized they were for free. He was halfway through dropping almost half-dozen marshmallows before he realized, oh s**t, these might not be for free. He motioned at the marshmallows already sinking into the hot chocolate, "Uh, do I have to pay extra for these?" Usually, Aoi wasn't one to be stingy, but he'd have to cut costs for until he secures a job. If word goes back to his family in Japan about his disastrous week, Aoi's probably going to be forced to fly back home.

Placing the paper towel he used to clean up in the trash he reached for his broom. He was always cleaning, for he didn't like messy things. A clean place was a habitable place. He then wen around the counter and to the tables to begin sweeping. "Nope, all that is free with the drink. Use as much as needed." Chase gave a smile as he moved some chairs to get under the table."My names Chase by the way. I own the place so if you have any other questions, feel free to ask." He stated as his eyes gazed outside. A regular. Leaning the broom on a wall he grabbed a to go cup and filled it with coffee. Excusing himself he walked outside and chatted up with a lady. She wore rags and her hair a mess. Her gloved hand holding the handle of the cart as her other hand grabbed the coffee. Her dim face had a smile as she talked to him for a bit and left. With a wave he scooted back in and shivered. "You weren't kidding. It's freezing out there." He laughed mostly to himself.

Satisfied with the 'it's free', Aoi proceeded to grab three adorable marshmallows and stuffed them into his mouth, feeling a little melancholy over the action. The last time he'd stuffed marshmallows like this was back home when he was with his sisters. Curious at the previous comment the other offered about the backroom, he carefully pushed the doors open to reveal a ton of creative street art painted over, practically, the whole room. For a little while, Aoi gawked at the creativity some people just seemed to have. After a while though, not wanting to seem rude, he returned to the counter and sat on the middle stool, watching the scene unfold as Chase offered takeaway coffee to a homeless lady. Aoi raised an eyebrow, sipping comfortably at his drink. Perks of being an owner, he supposed, was that nobody was going to chide him over giving out free coffee. Ah, to be your own boss. What a bliss.

When the guy - Chase - came back in, Aoi finally took a good look at him. Definitely a looker, he thought, especially with those defined jawline. Unconsciously, Aoi smiled behind his mug over the grin on Chase's face. "That was nice of you," he made circling gesture to the direction the lady had left, "You do that often?"

It took him a few heartbeats before he realized how rude he was behaving. By Japanese standards, at least. By host club standards, definitely. "Oh s**t, um. Aoi, at your service. Nice to meet you. And, uh, sorry about stealing your marshmallows," he indicated the drink in his hands, smiling sheepishly over his behaviour. If his parents or, god forbid, his previous employers saw him acting like this right now, they'd probably be severely disappointed.

"I do, it's a bad habit." He rubbed the back of his head a bit. It embarrassed him a tad when people point out his good deeds and such. He did it often enough that he was placing more of his own money in the cash register than anything. His accountant always tells him not to do such things, that it was bad for business but he couldn't help it. Blinking he then chuckled. The males' modesty was most welcome. Usually he just got people stuffing their pockets or drinks with everything they could.

Waving a hand Chase dismissed the marshmallow business. "No need to apologize. Eat as much as you want." With a smile he couldn't help but think of how adorable Aoi's little panic attack was. Trying to hide his grin, he went back to his broom and continued chatting as he swept. "It is nice to meet you Aoi. I am sorry it's a bit slow. Usually I have regulars but it seems to be just a tad bit cold for them. "

Looking to Aoi he then lightly cocked his head to the side. "May I ask what got you in the dumps today?" Chase was always nosy, in the sense that he wanted to help people, not because of gossip. He placed his hands on top of the broom, then his chin and lightly leaned on it as if ready to hear a story.

ooc: Awesome! Maybe Chase could put that to good use x3

The reason she came to this place was because she heard it was a safe place for misunderstood kids. Aelita plans to never rat out her father because she has no one else to take her in. She takes a couple napkins to clean up her blood off the counter, keeping her head down while she did this and blood drips onto her pants. As Chase asked the question, the cold breeze was once again on his back. Getting off the broom he then gave a light smile to his new customer. Walking over to the side, he placed down the broom, washed his hands and looked to the female. Before he could say anything though he had noticed she was bleeding. In a slight panic but, keeping composure he grabbed a clean cloth and wrapped ice in it. Handing it over with a concerned look he had advised her to look down at her feet to help the blood flow. Looking up only made it more hard to get out of the nose and could get her to choke. "Non't move to much, you don't want to get dizzy and pass out. Would you like a drink or something to eat?" He asked.

Aelita kept her face down to look at her feet and says "Water please", her voice gentle like the wind. She refused to show her face to the anyone especially the man who seemed concerned about her. She wasnt sure why he would be concerned about her. She looks around the area and says "Can you get me the water quick I cant stay long". She had forgotten about hats and hoods indoors until just now. She slowly took down her hood revealing her long shiny red hair but she couldnt hide the fact of the bruise on her left cheek and black eye on her right side of her face. She tries to make sure no one sees her face but she was raised to not be rude. She does remember all the lessons her mom gave her before she died and that was being polite and be kind to other. Her bright blue eyes look up at the man who seemed concerned for her. Her hair was down and she moved her head forward to hide everything with her hair.
