Havenvale was a town grown up and raised with music. It was required by the founding mayor
of the town, Mayor Hales Van Welderman, to have the most luxurious and prestige music academy fit for the finest musicians, potentials, professors of music, and prodigies that want to further excel with their instrument (or learn another) and teach students their knowledge of music theory, instruments, and create the perfect student to be a part of the Symphonic Band of Havenvale. Music was so heavy in the town that it was rumored that dark magic possessed certain instruments that when played can cause death and destruction to everyone in radius of the player.

A song, known as the Death Music, is played and passes down the streets of Havenvale which warns people that their death is coming. Luckily, those dark instruments were destroyed by the original Symphonic Band years ago. Havenvale was safe once more, and families let their eager children become musicians they were meant to be. Music wasn't meant to scare others, but help them live.

One hundred years passed since the Death Music was played by the mystic, dark, musicians and the town was readying to celebrate the 101th Sonata--a festival dedicated as freedom and happiness to the end of the deadly music. But...as the Symphonic Band finished their last song, the eerie harmony of the Death Music was heard around the town. Darkness struck the festival. The happy sounds of laughter left the town and were exchanged with screams of terror. And, now, it is up to the Musicians, and help from some villagers to put an end to the Death Music once and for all.

The current mayor, the seductive Elizabeth Elise Gravstone, has hired the town's top detective, Theodore James Kaylock to be in charge of this case. Can our detective solve this murderous, musical mystery or die under the hands of the murderers themselves?

- During the festival, the Death Music took the lives of three people, each related to one of the professors in the academy. It is rumored that they are dead because they were meddling with the affairs of ending the Symphonic Band which creates distress in the music community.


First case: Scholarly Murder
Detective in charge: Theodore James Kaylock
Status: Unsolved
Murders: Three
Notes: The victims did not have any musical talent--as in they didn't play an instrument. Could ending the Symphonic Band using the dark instruments be the cause of jealousy? Because they couldn't play any instrument, they were going to take a musician hostage. Unfortunately, their plan failed and ended with their deaths.

Madam's Hotel
A hotel where men can get their...hormonal fix if they choose to. This place is located downtown Havenvale.



The Bass
The town's bar. This place is where villagers go for the heck of it, musicians go to let out their sorrows, and where new-comers visit to get to know the bar manager and become a regular to get free drinks.



Town Hall
Once a place of cheerful villagers and light tunes, the Town Hall is more somber and dreary. Announcements, celebrations, and general get togethers are most likely to happen here.



Band Practice Theatre
A large hall with a wondrous past, the theatre is where the Symphonic Band hold practices, performances, and auditions.

This band consists of Havenvale's most elite and skilled musicians. The musicians are secondary to them. Unfortunately, being known as the original people that created the Death Music, the SympthBand isn't highly respected as it used to be. The "light" members are unaware of the dark powers caused by the dark instruments. They want to stop the Death Music. The "power" members are completely aware of the dark powers caused by the instruments and want to use it for their own personal desires.

Description: Since early childhood Vera has had a hard time growing up in Havensvale. Raised by her strict high class mother, the violist was given a hard time by nearly all about her lineage. Vera's skin pigment and facial features hinted at a partial Asian heritage while her mother and believed father were both of Caucasian lineage. With the only known Asians of Havensvale consisting of lower classed citizens, Vera's family shattered. Her father left and her mother was cold, leaving the musician to her music and the ridicule of her peers. The more the violist was hurt, the more she turned to playing music. Music was her only comfort, and with the amount of practice over the years Vera's talent for the viola became undoubted. Joining the Symphonic Band was what Vera felt was a slap in the face to those who scorned her. However, once the violist fell upon information containing the Death Music, her hunger for revenge on those who hurt her only grew stronger.
