Caden looked over at Aera, smiling thoughtfully. "Caden. I've had it with the surface." He replied, looking up at the ceiling. Who could be so cruel as to experiment on sentient beings?

"Your dad seems very nice." Layla sat in the newly cleared space in the booth. She missed the oppertunity to shake the dad's hand. Oh well. She sighed and looked over at Dani... no Caden. Her tail brushed up against something and it made her twitch/gump slightly. Apparently there was a bruse or something on her tail from where she whacked it. Her face contorted for a second trying to figure out why she even did that, Oh yeah, I'm a kultz. She reminded herself. She was spacing out and stairing into a random direction when she caught herself smilling a little. She quickly snapped out of it and laid both of her arms on the counter.

Aera nodded to layla. "Yeah, he's pretty sweet," she said, then glancing back at Caden. "Seems lately they've been giving us a lot to be angry about," She said, silent for a moment, thinking of her mother. After a moment, Aera changed the subject. Gloomy things were, well, gloomy to talk about. She smiled. "Besides, Caden's a good name. I think it means 'adamant' or 'determined' or something like that. Mine means 'graceful.' Dosen't suit me, does it?" Aera said with a laugh.

"Graceful?" Caden repeated, shaking his head slightly. Quite ironic, considering all he'd seen his sister doing so far is bumping into him and falling off rocks. 'At least you're not as big a klutz as my sister.' He pointed out, the fact that he was replying through Layla's mind making his smile seem uncalled for. His name was the only one that seemed to suit him, apparently. He had no idea what Layla meant, but he certainly was determined.

Zuhara felt someone grab her arm as she swam with the rushing water. Zuhara stopped and listen to the other mermaid inform her that the bottom of the water fall was dangerous. "umm.. Thanks." Zuhara said to the other mermaid. Zuhara looked at the mermaid she had a beautiful purple tail and purple hair. "I am Zuhara." She said to the other mermaid. Zuhara now wondered if there was a clan of freshwater mermaids here but she doubted it. She didn't know much about saltwater mermaids maybe they could handle freshwater much better than she could handle salt water.

Wisteria Gwendolyn

What you see on the outside is not always the same as the inside.

Wisteria, perched on a rock just at the edge of the river, sat combing her hair and singing to herself. The spray from the waterfalls tumbling down the huge cliffs behind Wisteria offered a calming spray and the sound of rushing water, both of which Wisteria had sorely missed in her captivity.

Something bumped Wisteria's violet tail, and she looked down to see a beautiful mermaid with flowing black hair and a koi's tail swimming along on her back. "Careful! There's a waterfall behind you!" Wisteria yelped, grabbing the mermaid's wrist and keeping her from toppling over the cliffs. "That was close..." Wisteria sighed in relief.

Layla laughed lightly about their discussion on what their names ment. She heard Caden reply to her thoughts, and though it still surprised her a tiny bit, she was sort of getting use to it. Yeah, but I've come pretty close to it. She rolled her eyes at the ground when the memory of the last time she saw the ship she worked on and her falling off it flashed in her mind. She caught Caden smiling and shook her head lightly while smiling back and started to twiddle her thumbs, trying to remember what her name meant. "I can vaugly recall my name's meaning..." but of course it's somewhat different. Cause it's elvish after all. "I think it means night flower." She bowed her head a bit, still trying to concentrate. It's... been so long.

When Clair returned home the small cabin seemed to be messier than when she left but whenever she walked over the stuff burned up and disappeared with no ashes left behind. Clair waited to see if another nymph would come out but none came.
A moment later Clair was once again relaxed and the cabin felt like home again. She began to cook a small rabbit Why do I eat any way? Clair thought to herself. She sat there and wondered why she, a part of magic, had to eat. The rabbit was in flames when she came back to her senses she put out the flames and began to eat waiting for anything odd to happen like when she entered her cabin.
