Avira turned around to see a girl with beautiful flames around her, she looked at her with kindness in her deep blue ocean eyes. "No, I just escaped from the lab, i'm calling down to the merpeople letting my friends and loved ones, especially my daughter, know that I have arrived home quickly and safetly." she smiled. "I was in a tank too long at the lab, might as well stay in human form for right now." she chuckled. Her blue veil and white dress danced was blown in the wind softly as she stood there. She looked at the coconut tree that was bending over and as she brought her hand up, it rose up as well.

Clair figured she was a mermaid but was a little surprise when the lady moved the tree. Clair did not know that mermaids had so many abilities. They could heal, control water, and now move things with their minds. Clair thought that might not be the case but it sure seemed like it.
Clair stood there next to the woman on the shore for a couple more minutes and soon heard yelling and screaming from the lab. "You should probably go before they find you." Clair said to the mermaid. Clair smiled at her and sat down the sand was warm even at sunset. She shoved her fingers down in the sand. Clair looked at the straight tree in the morning it will go back to leaning because they always lean towards the sun for energy.

Avira shrugged. "They won't find me." she replied. She looked way different than her mermaid form in her human form, they can hardly recgonize her. She sat beside the girl and sighed. She thought about her love, the father of her children, who had also died with them. She knew they had died because one day she felt a sudden message in her head that said they were dead, and it even had been over 3 years since she last saw them. She sighed as a tear ran down her eye.

Clair saw a tear run down the woman's cheek and wondered what was wrong but ignored it she hated it when people asked her what was wrong when she was sad.
She wondered if the woman knew that Clair was not a mermaid. Clair chuckled. "I think they don't care any more whether they have mermaids or not. They took me there just because I was near water." Clair said. She wondered if that was really why the men took her or if they new what she really was.

Avira chuckled after wiping the tear away. "Yes, it is getting pretty old." she replied. She noticed earlier that the girl wasn't a mermaid, she didn't look the mermaid type, including the fire around her. "Hmmm, what are you though, dear?" she asked.

Clair sighed she got asked this question to much when people figured out she wasn't human. "I am a fire nymph." Clair said with a somewhat bugged tone. Clair smiled when she noticed some of her fire was still around her. It disappeared and she blushed kind of ashamed that she forgot to put the fire out. Almost no one knew about nymphs she hoped that at least mermaids knew what they were she absolutely hated it when people asked what a nymph was because it made her feel more lonely than usual. Even in her time not many people knew what nymphs were they were so well hidden.

"Oh that's interesting. I had a friend once who was a fire nymph." she replied. "She moved from this island though. But my daughter and I still swim across the ocean to see her at times." she smiled.

Clair when the woman said that Clair sighed. "Nymphs are made from the island's magic after they the human dies. I don't think they can leave the island without dying." Clair said with a smile not to be rude to the woman. "It may have been a human gifted with fire magic though." Clair said so the woman would not feel bad about the mistake.

Avira nodded. "I'm Avira." she held out a hand. "And you?"

"I am Clair." Clair said. It was her silly bad habit of not introducing herself. If she was going to be around people more she was gonna have to get out of that and start introducing herself.
"I should probably get home soon." Clair said to Avira. She mindcalled Ryu *Come pick me up now.* Clair sat there and waited for Ryu. The sun had set now and the moon was out Clair hoped Ryu wasn't to far away for her mindspeech to reach.

"Pleasure to meet you Clair." she replied. "Yeah, I should probbaly do another call too." she said looking at the moon. At night time, she would dance around the moon, her veil and dress flowing around it. She always loved doing that ever since she was a child. Avira made another call to her friends and loved ones under the water.

Ryu came and landed before Avira left. "Goodbye Avira!" Clair said and waved as she got on Ryu. Since there was only one phoenix alive at a time Avira had probably never seen one before and if she had she may have only seen it flying as a streak of fire.
"It was nice meeting you! Clair said. Then Ryu rose up into the sky. "Just call me any time if you want a ride, I will see what I can do about a saddle so you won't get burned.

Avira smiled. "Goodnight Claire dear." she said and as she floated above the water getting higher and higher to the moon she waved goodbye. When she got to the moon she began dancing around it and water/whiteish sparks followed and surrounded her like ribbons.

Layla was swimming under the water and descided she should probobly surface and walk around on land for a while. Flapping back her pectoral fins back flat onto her hips, she started to hum again while she swam slowly back toward the shallow water. Her hair followed her like a displaced curtain of coral, swaying back and forth as she made her way through the water.

Zuhara grew impatient waiting for Aera's response."I will go find a stream myself then." Zuhara said and began to walk towards where she could see a small mountain. Zuhara knew where streams would start. She really hoped she could find a stream she also wondered if there were fresh water mermaids here to but she doubted that because she couldn't imagine any living close to salt water mermaids. Zuhara guessed that when Aera would see her walking away she would just run after her not that Zuhara needed any help finding a stream she knew that salt water fish don't live well in fresh water so she assumed the same for mermaids.
