Wisteria blushed. "Oh, I heard that other mermaid who came to the lab call you that. I'm a bit teleptheic, so forgive me if I feel like I know you better than I do," Wisteria clutched Belrina tightly, running a rand up and down the little girl's back. Her silver circlet glowed, and Wisteria channeled a little bit of the moon's power into the girl to calm her down.

Wisteria glanced up at Daniel. "I'm not sure what we can do. They aren't taking Avira to the lab on the island, the tunnel has flooded it completely with seawater by now, but I was held in a facility two miles west of here; I think that's the closest one to Erethra. I could send out a message to her, if I know the general direction she's headed," Wisteria continued to rub Belrina's back, crooning gently a sleeping song. It would be better if the girl didn't hear them discuss her mother's predicament. Wisteria nodded to the mermaid who swam up, silent.

"In a nutshell, that." Daniel said to Akane before looking over at Wisteria. Her appearance seemed to spark something in his mind and a distant memory,buried under seventeen years worth of life with his parents, sprang back to life. "Yeah, I know the feeling, princess." He said quietly, bowing slightly. "Unfortunatley nobody has any idea where the ship went."

When Wisteria bent over to talk to Belrina, Daniel stood silently, not wanting to interrupt her. He only spoke when the girl fell asleep. "Congratulations, by the way. If it weren't for your impeccable timing we wouldn't have been able to shut off those bracelet things."

Akane nodded back a 'hello' to the purple mermaid. "I noticed." She replies to Daniel. Akane sighs heavily to the other mermaids information. She runs her fingers threw her hair again. "Well, if we want to get her mother back, we'd better go find that lab i guess." Akane says with a sigh. She puts her hands on her hips and lets her blond hair fall back into place. "Well, where should we go? I only knew about that one lab we just destroyed. So do you have any idea where it is?" She asks the purple mermaid.

Daniel felt like an idiot. "You're not? sorry, I must have mistaken you for someone else." He said apologetically, wondering if he could possibly make her forget about his slip up. "Nice to meet you, Wisteria." He said quietly, gently shaking her hand. Hopefully nothing else would happen to embarass him in front of her. "By the way, you could probably take that bracelet off now, it's been deactivated."

Wisteria looked down at the bracelet and frowned. It had stayed, imperceptibly, on her wrist through her ransformation and could easily give her away to government adgents as a lab escapee. She pulled at it again, but the computerized lock was still bonded shut. Wisteria ceased her efforts and shook hger head. "I can't. the power might have been shorted out, but I'm not sure if there's a way to pick this weird, high-tech lock," Wisteria bit her lip and sat down in the cool sand, letting grains slip through her fingers one by one.

"Hold on, let me have a look." Daniel knealt down beside her and carefully lifted her arm up, jiggling the bracelet from side to side. He shook his head slightly after a while, letting go of her arm. "Electronic locks. Nice." He couldn't help but admire their thinking. Creatures that spent most of their lives underwater wouldn't know much about complex electronics. "Luckily, I just happen to have the key." He gave Wisteria a sly grin and reached behind his back, tugging on the hilt of his sword and freeing it from the scabbard. "Don't move, or I may end up hitting the wrong thing." Daniel said as he touched the blade against the bracelet.

Clair finally saw where the men were taking her and she was just about to fire jump and then THUMP she blacked out....

When Clair awoke her began to sting the men and some others in white coats were lowering her into a tank of water Clair screamed and tried to climb out of the net they had her in but she couldn't seem to get up enough and the net kept going in "Curses, she woke up." she heard one of the men say. Clair had no other choice she used the little bit of magic she had to fire jump. The fire surrounded her and she heard them all gasp and curse when she disappeared. She looked around the fire she jumped to was still in a lab. The fire she was in was an odd one the source was something thing new that she had never been in before it seemed ok but there was no wood and once the stuff was gone the fire would go out. Clair decided to wait until it was gone.

Akane sighs and grabs a coral. She flicks it in the water and it becomes a key. She puts her hand out in front of Daniels sword. "Dont do that you can hurt her. How about we use this?" She suggests, holding out her hand made key with a grin. "It will fit into anything." She explains. "Is that ok Wisteria?" She asks Wisteria holding the key in front of her.

Daniel shook his head when Akane waved her home-made key in front of his face. "It's an electronic lock." He explained, pushing the key aside. "Usually, they will only upen when the key used has a special tag in it. Like a car's locks." He tapped the blade of his sword again, this time speaking to Wisteria. "It's this or power tools, and I promise I won't miss."

Akane flicks the key, and it turns into an electronic key. "Is this better?" She says still grinning. "Or do i need to let you kill her with that sword..." She teases, waving the key around. "But like i said before, that key will work with anything, even electronic." She continues, folding her arms.

Daniel rolled his eyes and stood up, stepping aside to let Akane try her solution. "If you really think it will work then go ahead. Don't blame me if you end up electrocuting her." He said quietly, leaning over the two girls. "And for the record, I wasn't going to kill her. If the bracelet was resting on something hard the force would have been transferred through the bracelet and into the other surface, causing only light bruising." Physics wasn't his strong point, but that was what Daniel believed would happen.

Akane was not in the mood for an argument. "Alright. How about we do this. Since you think your method can get it off, try yours first. But if that doesnt work, i will try mine. OK?" She explains to Daniel. Of course she still thought her idea was better and LESS dangerous than him missing and making her bleed to death. But she really didnt care. Akane just didnt want to be proved wrong. She hates that.
