~Layla Greyspell~
She suddenly felt the urge for the open air, unblocked sunlight and, of course, her legs. She smiled at this, how her elvin blood is always the opposite of the mermaid in her. She looked up at the broken sunlight streaming down into the gentle water. Layla zig-zagged her way up to the surface and breathed in an unneccisary gulp of air.
Ah sweet sunlight, how I've come to miss the gentle kiss you give upon my cheek. Let us dance in the open air of the sea together. She raised her arms up and out of the water and rested them on the surface like it was solid. Next she proped herself out of the water and morphed back to her seemingly human form... she wasn't standing on land, but on the surface of the water itself. Layla took in a deep breath of air and spun around with her arms outstretched.
