It had caught Felix by surprise, the trip to Italy. Not for the usual reasons: getting out of school (legitimately) for a week, being whisked overseas and staying in on of the most picturesque cities in the world. No. What had surprised Felix so much was that apparently, he had nothing but absolute adoration for babies. Or, at least, his niece. Gurgling, napping, eating, sleeping, being carried everywhere - maybe he just liked the 'lifestyle' of a newborn. Whatever it was, he had been torn getting on the airplane to come home.

While Sasha had quickly become bored with their newly born niece and wondered off to take in the sights (aka, shop till she dropped), Felix had spent a lot of his time looking after Lucia. Of course, strolling around baby in tow had done wonders for his pick-up rate, too. His 'friends' list on Facebook and Snapchat had grown rapidly in the short time, not to mention the number of followers he had on Tumblr. It was even better than walking a puppy - once people realised he was a doting uncle and not a teen dad. That had been the plan from the start, of course. But the more time Felix had spent with Lucia, the less interested he had become in random hook-ups.

He also felt that his brand of charm translated better overseas. Back at Henderson he was kind of just Sasha's silly kid brother. It didn't really bother him a whole lot, except when it came to some of the older students. Felix wasn't exactly subtle about his attraction to a good number of Ash's friends, who had over time become his. Unfortunately, but they seemed particularly disinterested anything more than friendship with the sixteen year old. Looking at himself in the mirror as he was now, Felix didn't quite understand it. He had just finished showering and was staring at himself, trying to figure out the best way to keep himself from saying or doing anything too embarrassing as soon as he was in a social setting. He scratched his torso as he turned from the mirror and went over to his suitcase, towel wrapped loosely around his hips as he contemplated his outfit for the evening. It was probably going to happen anyway, might as well not fight it.

Felix knew he was attractive, so it wasn't to do with that. Going down the list though, he couldn't quite figure out what was wrong. He was athletic, smart (though that sometimes didn't seem to be the case), friendly, funny, captain of a school team and still nothing by the way of hook-ups with those he desired most (currently the gorgeous Daphne and suave Hassan). Maybe he tried too hard, or not hard enough. Eventually, he shrugged, running a hand through his damp hair. Their loss he thought to himself as he sifted through his suitcase in search of something to wear. Besides, it wasn't as though he didn't have any luck with those his own age; hell, he'd even experienced the intensity of a much older touch more than a few times.

Still, Felix was the kind of guy who wanted what he was told he couldn't have, he always had been. Surely it was something to do with growing up with everything he ever could want having been handed to him without a moment’s pause. He was unlike his sister on so many levels, but they shared one thing above all: a complete distaste for hearing the word "no". Matched with his competitive nature and a desire to win, it drove him to both say and do some stupidly embarrassing things every once in a while.

Still not as embarrassing as crying over leather goods he thought, chuckling to himself as he finally selected his outfit and started to change. Sasha's little fit at the airport that afternoon had held them up a good while and they'd surely missed most of the finale of the school musical. Really, the only reason Felix would have considered attending would be to make fun of the entire cast: regardless of the fact that it featured a few of his friends. His phone beeped to life, having died on the way from their airport back to Henderson, and his eyes flicked over as he ran a hand through his dark hair once more. It was dry enough now but he couldn't be bothered putting any product in it.

While he waited for his phone to finish charging, he kept an eye on the flow of messages that came through. Most of them were about the party happening at Teddy and Hugo's that night, which Sasha had told him about on the way back from the airport. He was already planning on attending, but Ren's message stating that his presence was required motivated him to get a move on. With his phone having just reached fifty percent, he shrugged, grabbed it, slipped a jacket on and headed back out. As he left, a thought dawned on him that caused him to smile to himself. What if they're just playing hard to get? Suddenly, in Felix's mind, it was game on.

He got to the auditorium as the curtains were lowering, which he considered to be perfect timing. Spotting Sasha, he tried to catch up to her. He was stopped a couple of times from some of the other soccer guys and friends from class asking him how his trip was and while he was polite, he kept all interactions short. Usually he was up for a lengthy chat, but he was there for a reason. Sasha might have been a prude who didn't indulge in just about anything fun, but going somewhere with her meant there was always a designated driver. And hair holder. And someone to fix any tears in clothing. He had also hoped that she'd spring for food on the way back to the dorms. Pretty much, Sasha was good for playing mum without there being any risk of being grounded or reprimands by the way of being cut-off financially.

That was kind of the reason Felix had been transferred by his parents to Henderson. While they couldn't be bothered keeping an eye on him, Sasha was there and able to - at least for her final two years there. It had seemed the logical fix to the problem that had been Felix and his expulsion from his school in New York. It was just as well in the younger Moreno sibling's eyes, because the Henderson soccer program was infinitely better than at his previous school and he'd made captain his second semester of sophomore year.

Having finally caught up to his sister, he heard the end of her excited greeting, which was a squeal, matched by another female's. Daphne. By the time Felix had stopped next to Sasha, his eyes were travelling slowly up the pair of incredibly toned legs before him. They might have been denim-clad, but the material was tight enough (surely a strategic move on the blonde's part) that he didn't need to imagine much. "She was definitely raising something." he muttered, complete with a cheeky grin as his brown eyes eventually made contact with Daphne's piercing blue ones. Of course, that expression didn't last as his sister dug her elbow into his side. He let out a pained gasp and clutched his side. "What? It's a compliment," he said, his voice strained somewhere between pain and amusement.

As Daphne turned her gaze away from him, Felix clutched his hands to his chest as though she'd shot an arrow right through him. He grinned as he followed after the two older girls out of the auditorium. Apparently his little journey from the boys' dorms to the auditorium and back again had been in vain as his sister and Daph showed no signs of going out for food between. His stomach grumbling, he was already planning on raiding the kitchen once they arrived.

                                                              ....................................................................................
                                                              RELOCATE

"Our sister married a douche bag, Ash bought shoes and the baby's name is Lucia. There's not much else to tell," He informed Daphne as they reached their destination. He'd liked the baby, he didn't need anyone knowing that though. Especially not Daph, who seemed far less than impressed with the thought of discussing the infant. The part about their dear older sister having married the biggest douche-lord that ever lived, however? No where near as far from the truth. He danced through the door before the girls made a beeline for the kitchen, throwing a greeting by the way of a wink to those who occupied the lounge area.

Felix didn't pay much mind to the characters who floated in and out of the kitchen for he was on a mission. Unfortunately, the only food his hunt turned up was lemons, which he presumed was for tequila and didn't exactly make for an appetizing dinner. He exited the kitchen, frowning and preoccupied with thoughts of pizza or pasta or just about anything. As he rounded a corner, his hand flew up to stop a collision between himself and another person. Looking up from where his hand had landed smack bang in the middle of someone's chest, he found Ren. Felix's lips turned upwards into a smile bordering on wicked before his eyes flicked down to the cup his fellow soccer player was holding. "Oh, thanks!" He said as he pried the drink from Ren's grip with little effort. "Got any food where that came from?" He asked, having downed all the liquid and handed the empty cup back to his friend.

It was more of a rhetorical question as Ren was currently in the process of gathering troops for a game of... "Flip Cup? Really, Ren?" Felix teased, one eyebrow expertly cocked. An exaggeratedly exasperated sigh escaped his lips as he threw his hands up in mock surrender. "Just don't beg me to be on your team this time. I know I'm great, but you just embarrass yourself with all that pleading." He stood on the edge of the room while Ren went about setting up the table and called out for more participants. "You know what's missing?" He said suddenly, walking over to the designated music area. He pulled out his phone and plugged it in. Now he could finish charging his phone and there would be music. Really, it was a win-win. He pressed shuffle, turning the volume up half way so that it was loud enough to fill the room, but not over powering. Thankfully, it was Frontin' by Pharrell that started up. It could have easily been Taylor Swift.

ooc the laze got the better of me. better layout to come eventually. maybe. probably not. also not sure if this is accurate in terms of where everyone is but too late now.

                                                          • One thing was for certain, and it was that he hadn’t been expecting that reaction from the shorter girl at all. Without giving it much thought, Brad made a face at the mention of the other male before putting more distance between their bodies his good mood gone in a flash. It was no secret that there was a practical love triangle going on between Lou, Tate, and Annie or whatever her name was, but out of the three of them he had thought that Lou would be the sole one not going to put up with it. The mention of the other male as an impulse meant that there had obviously been something other than that kiss that had gone down. Fortunately for Lou, and unfortunately for him, he was in no mood to address the situation. They’d had enough passive aggressive arguments over the doofus that he felt like he might as well be turning blue in the face harping on it. “I would never pass up the chance to see you twirl around in a fluffy skirt,” he responded, not giving her any indication that he was seething on the inside. Her playful pinch to his side made him grin and he shrugged at her before he made a move to actually walk back toward the dressing room where the skirt in question was, no doubt, kicked into a corner somewhere. “We both know I look good in anything,” he joked before the pair started to walk towards the exit of the auditorium.

“Everyone is probably heading to the party,”
he intoned when she mentioned inviting others and shrugged lightly. He was all for going to the party, smoking some weed, and watching all of his drunk classmates play games and, some of them, make fools of themselves. Or more specifically, a blonde that couldn’t handle his drugs and ended up making an even bigger fool of himself than he already did when he was sober. He sent a look over to the girl to see her on her phone with mangled flowers in her hand and once again, chose to keep his mouth closed. There was no point in wasting his breath. She was grown and could make her own bad decisions without him having to waste his energy. His thought process immediately changed once they stepped out into the cool air of the evening, now focused on food and the soon to be sweet endorphins that would see be released once they stopped in one place long enough to light one up without any onlookers or irritating people there to ruined their buzz. In other words, they would need to get high before he set foot into the same place as Tate so that he didn’t feel the immediate need to sock him in the face.

                                                            “Your chariot awaits,”
he intoned once they had reached the parking lot and fished his keys out of his pocket before he unlocked the doors to his car, gesturing for her to get in on the other side. Once both of them had been settled, he reached across her and into the glove compartment and handed her the stack of cigarette paper and bag of weed he had stashed in there before Nico dragged him into the musical before he closed the compartment again and stuck his keys into the ignition. “Get to work baby cakes,” he said and winked at her before he pulled out of the parking place and drove the short distance to the local pizza place, half watching the road, and half watching her roll. He knew that out of all of his friends she would have no problems at all with the task he’d given her, but given the nature of what she was doing and how he’d acquired the ganja now in her possession, he couldn’t help but watch her like a hawk. According to his father, he had made too many poor decisions when it came to his stash and even though his dad wasn’t hanging over his shoulder it still felt like he was staring down over his shoulder.

Brad pulled into a parking spot near the back of the restaurant and turned off the car, looking over once more to see that there was not enough progress done for him. He shook his head and let out a sigh of long suffering before he grabbed the paper from off of her lap and the bag, leaning back into his chair to begin the process of rolling. “You’re slippin’ cher,”
he drawled to her and simply shook his head at her refusal and started to crease the paper, more focused on it than whatever she was saying. Silence stretched between them for a few minutes before he held up his joint for her to see and then placed it between his lips. “That, is how you roll,”he muttered to her, trying not to drop it from his mouth as he reached into the compartment between the two seats and pulled out a lighter, which he flicked on and lit the paper with before he handed it to her and proceeded to take a long drag. “I can’t decide if I want Hawaiian or barbecue,” he informed her as he got comfortable.

                                                                • In his attempt to get the game set up, he hadn’t been paying much attention to Lexi’s silence, though he was all too aware of her presence. In minutes he’d had everything ready for them to begin their normal routine, but it seemed as though she wasn’t ready for anything normal yet at all. Or at least, he hadn’t thought so. Sam turned around to see a cupcake in his face, his brown eyes crossing comically in order to focus on what she was offering him. He took a step back from it in order to look down at her and chuckled slightly before he took the sweet she’d offered him and broke a piece off of the side she hadn’t chowed down on before he handed her the rest, popping it into his mouth in order to appease her. “You have icing on your lip,” he told her once he’d finished chewing and grinned at her before he made his way to the couch and settled into the cushions, waiting for her to join him..

By the time that Lexi had started to respond and act how she normally did around him, Sam was already completely and utterly engrossed in the video game they were playing. He had always tried to go easy on most of his friends, excluding Kenna as their rivalry with video games was strong and would always live on, but Lexi was the only person he would literally just put his controller on his lap and wiggle his thumbs around without much purpose for. Despite them having played games together for what seemed like years, she was still completely confused by the concept, or at least, that’s how it seemed. Sam tried not to chuckle as the redhead got her player stuck in a corner for the third time in under an hour and tapped the sides of the remote while he patiently waited for her to turn him back around on her own. Minutes passed before she finally gave in and he relieved her of the controller and expertly got her out of the corner and back onto the court, making sure to point out, once more, that the button she had been pressing hadn’t been the one she wanted and showed her the proper way to hold the controller while chuckling at her pouting. “One day you’ll get it Lex,”
he said comfortingly before he turned back to the screen, hiding a small grin at her determined face.

If he had to choose one thing he liked to most about his friend, it was that once she put her mind to something there was practically nothing that could deter her. He had yet to see her in a situation where she had just flat out given up, unlike some of the other girls he’d met. Kenna frequently reminded him of how his ex -girlfriend had flat out refused to even attempt to learn how to play video games with him before often gushing about how cute he and Lexi would be as a couple, which would then get the approval and pushing from their other friends, especially Eva. Then with all of the anons streaming into his inbox, he had started to give thought to if they did like each other as more than just friends. He couldn’t ever recall getting butterflies or being tongue-tied around Lexi, but the awkwardness that had settled between them after the GQ blast and their classmates messing with her on Tumblr had showed him that he was very protective of the girl. All friends were protective of their friends though, so he didn’t know if that was simply because she was one of his best friends, or if it stemmed from something more.

He had contented himself with the rhythm of the game, really not paying much attention to what their bodies were doing other than their thumbs circled around the controllers and the occasional jolt from Lexi when she finally managed to get a basket, or even more rare, and three pointer. One game turned into another, and that one merged into the next, and before long he had started to yawn not even realizing how long they had been at it, entirely too focused on trying to not completely stomp Lexi’s attempts at getting points. Soon he found they had both had enough of the game for the day, and was about to suggest a different one, one that was easier or her, when she suddenly spoke up much to his shock and confusion. He had pretty much forgotten that there had been an underlying reason for her coming into his room unannounced. Sam shifted slightly as continued talking, grateful that she couldn’t see the smile that had crossed his face, not only at her words, but at the mention of the kiss. While Tumblr had gotten some of it right that he hadn’t wanted to kiss her originally, it wasn’t for the reason the anons and GQ had made it out to be. He simply had been anxious about it because of the fear that it would mess up their friendship, and from the first few days afterwards when she’d started to distance herself, he had immediately felt that he had been right.

If anything, her sudden onslaught had shocked him so when she finally turned to face him, he probably didn’t have the most approachable of looks on his face, but mostly because he was still mulling over her words and trying to figure out what it was exactly that she was trying to say to him. He would be a good boyfriend? Or she regretted the kiss? Or none of those, but something else? Girls were confusing. He made to ask her a question, his eyes widening when she suddenly started to fall backwards off of the couch towards the coffee table. He immediately reached out and tried to catch her, not realizing that she had done the same to him in an attempt to not hit the floor. Before he had really processed what had happened, both of them had hit the ground, her with her arms still wrapped around his neck and him with one arm around her back, the other a the back of her head, hoping to cushion the fall. Confused, they both blinked at each other for a second before she started laughing, which prompted him to join in after a few more seconds of confusion. At her statement, he gingerly maneuvered his from off of her, trying not to hit or with his long limbs and managed to slide onto the ground a couple of spaces away from her, still chuckling. She was just too cute. “Lex, I stopped thinking about it. Consider it forgotten. Wanna go get some food?”
he managed to ask after he’d calmed down long enough to address her, finding the whole situation incredibly funny.

Min Shi had never been interested in the “artistic” aspect of gymnastics. But he’d been reprimanded many times by their couch that he needed to learn all aspects of the sport and learn to master them all. Though why he was participating in such a thing was beyond him. Had it not been of his grandmothers prompting, Min would had have said no to sports altogether and spend his days getting high in Audrey’s company, but disappointing the woman who’d practically raised him was not an option. So grudgingly he complied with the wishes of his instructor, learning, and failing multiple times, at mastering the Vaulting table. It looked so simple, and yet was nowhere near as easy has he originally surmised it to be.

Taking a deep breath, the dark haired male stood at the end of runway, staring at the spring table set up 25m away from him. He’d fallen more times than he could count, bruises were forming on his skin, and weariness overtook him as he stared forlornly at the obstacle in front of him. ‘Just land one fricking vault and you’ll be good to go, no more for the day.’ He told himself. With another ragged breath he took off at a sprint jumping on the spring board in front with his feet, his body flipping upwards into the air, his hands coming down onto the vaulting table, which he pushed himself off of, maneuvering his body into a simple front handspring before landing safely on his feet on the mat. It wasn’t by any means a perfect performance, but the fact that he’d actually done it without his face colliding with vaulting table, or landing on his butt on the mat filled him with a sense of accomplishment. “Good job! Now a few more of those and we’ll work on doing a handspring double tuck.” The couch said as he clapped.

“Sounds like one hell of a good time and all, but I think I’m going to have to pass on this one. I’ve got a nice bowl of hash waiting for me at my room.” The couch gapped at him, his eyes going wide with horror at what was just revealed to him. I’m just kidding mate, don’t get your panties all tangled. I would never do anything of the sort. Gotta keep my body clean, and my mind ready to compete.” He laughed, obviously lying through his teeth, but the couch, whether naïve, or thought it was easier to just take it as a joke than to go through the trouble of filing paperwork simply waved it off, lecturing Min for a few more minutes on how he should be more delicate in his manners of speech before someone else took him seriously. Min nodded, as if he’d been following along but eventually lost interest in whatever the man was saying and just walked off mid-speech, headed for the locker room where he showered and changed back into his clothes. Then he pulled out his cell phone shooting a text to the one girl he could always count on, his best friend since he’d moved to this Podunk town so many years ago, Audrey.

                                  To: Auds
                                  From: Minnie
My bodies sore, you should massage me and make me feel all better.
And I’ve got some hash. What are you doing?
Care to let me share this s**t with you?

Though Min was honestly sore all over, he had no expectations of the girl giving him a massage like he asked. He’d tried and failed constantly over the years to get the girl into the sack with him, though why she wouldn’t sleep with him when she slept with just about anyone else was beyond him. But he’d gotten used to her telling him no, making his flirting more routine than an expectation of something actually happening.

Once that was done he headed to where all the action was, certain he’d find his friend there already, at the party that was being held at Teddy, and Hugos room. He couldn’t exactly remember what it was for, something about celebrating the finality of the play that Min hadn’t bothered to attend, not that he needed a reason to party. Nope Min was down for anything that resembled fun. When he arrived the party was in full swing, with everyone pouring themselves some drinks, and a round of flip cup was under way. He took a look around but to his disappointment, did not find the dark haired girl he’d been searching for. He shrugged pouring himself a drink as he watched the game progress.

                          • Go figure. Colton was a great friend and not only her’s but Austen’s as well. He was a great guy to be around and whoever his future girlfriend may be would be lucky to have him in her life. She was already lucky to have him as a part of her life as the great friend he was. A cheesy smiled filled her face as her thoughts traveled around the idea of Colt being such a great guy. It wasn’t until Austen said ‘delicious’ did Alia focus back into the reality around her. Alia turned her brown eyes onto Austen as she started to speak out what she had been doing. None of that was healthy for her and Austen knew it, but Alia wasn’t going to point it out or chastise anyone for their actions. Everyone at this table were old enough to know what was good for their body and what was bad. “Here, do you want something to eat?” Alia asked slicing her already in half sandwich into another half. Naturally, Alia looked out for her teammates. “You should put some real substance in your body. Plus, we need to stay in shape even when it’s not soccer season,” Smiling Alia slid her plate towards Austen. “And you better not deny the food, because that is not acceptable in my culture,” Alia giggled. It didn't matter where Alia was headed, whether it was to a friends house or a club meeting, Alia’s mum drilled it into her head that it would be disrespectful to show up empty handed so Alia mostly always brought snacks.

Although she knew some people found it disrespectful if she showed up with food. No one could be please in this world. “At least you’re getting some studying done. I’m behind in everything.” Alia said with a sigh, knowing that she probably shouldn’t be out here eating sandwiches but studying at home instead. Colton’s phone started to ring, at first he ignored it but once he checked his caller id he excused himself to answer the phone. At first, Colt’s expression was fine but soon one of worry clouded his strong features. Alia scowled at herself wondering if everything was ok. But apparently not because he came back to the table to excuse himself, saying an emergency at home had come up. Giving Alia and Austen both a hug, he apologized for not being able to take Alia home. “No, it’s ok. I live close anyways. Walking distance.” She grinned before giving him an sympathetic smile. “I’ll text you later,” She said to him as he hurried out the door. Giving Austen a small smile, Alia shrugged her shoulders. “I think it has to do with his grandpa. Colt was saying that he seemed out of it lately. Hopefully everything is ok.” She made a mental note reminding herself to call him later on.

Well, if you don’t have any other plans I guess it’s just you and me, Alia said with a playful smirk. Grabbing her phone she shot a quick text message to Mei to see if her best friend was around and wanted to come grab a bite. Kenna she was sure was busy, but Alia couldn’t quite remember what the blond had plans for.

                            TO: MEI
                            FROM: ALIA
MSG: Meeeeei, I’m at Cafe Eclair with Austen. Come eat sandwiches and milkshakes with me?

The play?” Alia repeated. “Sweaty, She chuckled. “It was fun, but a lot of moving around on stage. Definitely sweaty though, I honestly just wanted to walk around outside, naked, once it was all over.” Alia laughed. How’s the studying coming along? Are you ready for finals?” Alia asked. Ali was really good at school. That’s mainly because she had aspirations to want to see the world but she was also a little nerd on the inside because she really enjoyed school. It was a bit of a passion. She also liked theater so maybe she’d give that a try in the future but now that she was senior things were feeling more pressurized. Like applying to all those Uni’s and on top of that she was going to be a science major, mainly biology due to her interests in ecology. None the less living up to her parents expectations was a bit difficult as well. “Any plans for the holidays?” Alia asked wanting to make small talk. The thing was, Alia was alright in silent situations with people she really knew, but she hated that awkward silence that would fill in if she didn’t really know a person well. Now that Colt was gone, she didn’t have much else planned for the rest of her evening unless Mei showed up. Now that might be a whole different story.
