The contact was unexpected as Ashly touched her. All she could so was look at her, as she spoke. With their faces so close, she felt like she couldn't breathe. And when she whispered those last three words, she really couldn't breathe. "Ashly..." She whispered, letting her eyes go closed and reached up and placed her hand against the girl's cheek. "What about Adam." she whispered, her tone clear she didn't want to think about it. But she had to.

Ashly

Ashly kissed her hand as Leah placed it on her cheek and spoke softly to her almost in a whisper. "Come with me to my home and i'll tell you everything." she stood up and held out her hand for her to grab it. She used her other hand to tuck her cross neckless in her shirt because she felt that she betrayed god so she hid it.

Nodding, Leah took Ashly's hand and followed her out of the school. She didn't know why they had to leave anywhere. She saw her hide her necklace, and she nibbled her lip lightly. Her parents must've been Christians too, if she was, so what would they think about them? As she paused for a second, she looked at Ashly. She couldn't exactly believe any of this was happening.

Ashly

As they walked down the street Ashly started to hum a song she loved eversince she was alittle girl to kill the silent moment. She then looked over at Leah, "We're almost there, please dont...do anything I wouldn't do." She asked her as she pushed open the door to her home, her parents wore sitting at the kitchen table waiting for Ashly to get home, she was just in time like always. They asked who Leah was, "This is a friend Leah from school, is it okay if she has dinner with us?" they didn't even give it a second thought befor they nodded and set down another plate for Leah. Ashly sat down next to where Leah would be sitting with her hand on her lap. Her dad asked why her neckless was tucked in, she just untucked it and let it hang around her neck.

Leah stood there, stupidly for a moment. She was going to eat dinner? In the house of the man and woman who just happen to be the most christian parents to the girl she really liked? Why did this not seem like a good idea? When she was the only one not sitting, she scrambled to her seat. She smiled, not actually saying anything in fear of saying the wrong thing. She watched as Ashly removed her cross necklace. What had it meant that she'd tucked it inside her shirt? Leah shook her head and looked down at all the food. She hadn't eaten a home cooked meat in nearly five years. It all smelled and looked divine. "Thank you so much for letting me stay, Mr. and Mrs.-" She stopped talking. She realized she didn't know Ashly's last name! A pink flooded her cheeks as she looked down at her plate, abashed. Turns out she should have just stayed quiet.

Ashly

Ashly noticed that Leah was looking really nervous so she put her hand on her lap under the table and squeezed lightly as she looked at her father, "Yes, thank you for letting her stay." she then looked over at Leah as she seemed to not know her lastname. "Valentine." she whispered to her. When her dad said that he would lead the prayer tonight she moved her hand off of Leah's lap and put her hands together on the table and bowed her head.

"Valentine." Leah finished, her blush deepening in hue. It was quite the dinner so far, and she was sure that Ashly's parents were not impressed. When they all bowed their heads, she didn't exactly understand what was going on, until Mr. Valentine began praying. Immediately, Leah dropped her head in the same fashion. She hadn't prayed since she was in third grade, but the ritual was familiar enough. After they had all chorused the 'Amen", Leah looked around nervously. She didn't want to dig right in, but she was starting she was so hungry ad she tried the last time she ate anything that wasn't school food.

Adam had watched as Ashly and Leah left, in hand. As much as she wanted to be mad at her friend for ruining their cover, he couldn't muster it. Instead, he was just happy to see Ash so happy. He tried to think about anything else, but his mind kept wandering back to Leah's outburst about Zeek being obsessed. He stared at his ceiling, laying o his back for a few moments before standing up, walking right out of his room and up to Zeek's door. His hand hovered a moment in front of the door. He was scared to knock. But there was no way he was turning back now. Taking a deep breath, he knocked three times before stuffing his hands into his pockets and waiting.

Ashly

Ashly giggled alittle, "We can eat now." she picked up a fork and grabbed a chicken breast and put it on her plate, then grabbed the large wooden spoon and got some mashed potatos and then grabbed a pice of corn on the cob and set it on her plate and waited for Leah to get a full plate. "Go on, dig right in." Ashly's parents wore already eating but she waited for Leah.

Zeek

Zeek sneeked back in his window becuase it was late at night and he would be in big trouble if he got cought coming back in late at night. He closed his window and tossed his jacket off on his bed just as he heard someone knocking at his door. He went over to it and pulled it open. "Yea!-" he noticed Adam standing there, his cheeks turn a light pink. "What do you want?" he asked in a calm tone.
