Alexis looked at the Asian boy, surprised that he had noticed he had been crying. Of course, if it were Jake, he probably wouldn’t have noticed…Gosh, he really wanted to talk to his mother. She was a good listener and always helped in anyway that she could…She and his father were probably the only people he would ever cry in front of. And right now, he just wanted to cry on one of their shoulders. He needed to be held. But, of course, he had to be here and with his brother. He loved Jake, he really did, but he wanted what Derek and Josh seemed to have…But he knew he would probably never get that. And it kind of hurt, but even when you were living in a rich family, you still couldn’t get all that you wanted. He didn’t expect to get all that he wanted. Sure, his room was bigger than you could imagine for a teen, and it was filled with stuffed animals, electronics, and a BUNCH of clothes. He was happy with it, but even with all that, he wasn’t…happy as he could be.

He looked at the boy again and smiled, shaking his bed a bit. “Nothing is wrong…Camp just isn’t my thing. My parents sent me here because of a trip they were going on, but I much rather stay with my grandparents…Its not far from where we live…” Yeah, considering that his parents had bought them the house. Alexis’s mother did want to keep them close to her, so she bought them a house even within walking distance…Alexis loved going over there anyway…It wouldn’t be a bad thing to stay there and he could still hang out with his friends. Gabriel was only going to be gone for a week as far as he knew since he was going on that cruise with his boyfriend. Gabriel’s boyfriend owned his own yacht and the two were going to spend a whole romantic week on it…to get away from work and everyday life, as Gabby had put it. He knew his friend got annoyed with Xavier looking at a computer screen all day since he did his work from home.

He sighed and looked down at the ground. "Its just that I feel like I'm being ignored. And you know my heels won't go well here," he said, joking a bit. He then shook his head. "No, no one had done anything to me..." He looked at his brother and smiled a bit. "So...I'll be leaving now...You probably really didn't want me to come anyway...I saw the look on your face when Mom told you I was coming..."

Chie listened to the boy, and realized as he and Jake talked that they were related...Possibly brothers... he thought, looking over the boy a few times. A thought nudged at the back of his head, telling him that this boy was rather...cute.

Wait...does that thought make me gay?! he questioned himself, mentally shaking his head. But he still thought that the kid was cute...he just didn't know how much he liked how adorable the kid seemed to him. But, for the moment, he pushed it finally into the corner of his head. He then sighed softly, listening to the kid still.

"I know...it's none of my business...but...maybe you should stay for at least a day before you run off because no one talks to you. Yeah, I was going to do the same thing...but...it solves nothing..." he said, rubbing his bandaged hand now. He was being hypocritical to himself, but he was changing his mind...Perhaps...life might be standable... he thought, a smile tugging gently at the corners of his mouth.

-----------------------------------I really don't like to.
-----------------------------------Lying just really isn't my thing.
-----------------------------------But when it's all I can do...

Sighing somewhat at the explanation, Jake looked up at the sky again for a few moments as he let his brother talk. 'He sounds so depressed... Ugh. I have absolutely no experience with stuff like this.' he thought, a bit angry at himself. Despite what people thought Jake had never had a girlfriend nor a boyfriend. Sure he knew theoretically about these situations, but he had no idea on how to comfort people on anything. Naturally this was quite irksome on his end. Frowning a bit more, he swore he was going to have a permanent frown by the time this camp was done, Jake shook his head lightly when he mentioned their grandparents. "Well... I guess if you want to go, I can't really stop you." a mild chuckled escaped him when his little brother mentioned his heels. "That's true. Though you could always stay anyways." he said, attempting, rather lamely, to keep Alexis from leaving.

Of course, Jake couldn't help but wince when Alex spoke about how he looked when their mother told him Alex was coming. Blushing a bit in embarrassment, Jake spoke in an attempt to defend himself. "That wasn't only because I didn't want you here. I mean, I did want you here. I just... I just wasn't expecting it. I had had plans for the camp during the summer and I had to arrange to accommodate when I was told of your arrival." 'That and I was going to try and get a boyfriend here and use that to come-out to them, you being here really made that more complicated...' he thought, adding it on silently. Glancing at Chie as he, too, spoke to Alex, Jake grinned lightly. "I have to agree with Chie here, Alex."

-----------------------------------------------------------------------'Sides, I'll come out eventually.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------I'll just do it on my own time.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------And preferably they won't mind.

Alexis looked at his brother while he talked. He was pretty sure that he was going to leave. He was kind of set on it…”No, heels won’t do good here, and I only brought a pair of hiking boots and just regular gym shoes…But, knowing me, I’d go with my boots with heels instead of hiking boots, get so tired, and someone will have to carry me back.” It would be something he would do. He was just used to heels…And he liked them. His mother had only gotten him the other shoes just for this camp thing, and he hasn’t worn them at all, just tried them on and that was it. They were back in the box and hadn’t even been looked at until the day he packed for camp.

He smiled a bit as Jake went on. “So, I ruined your plans for whatever it was you were going to do…I’m sorry…Then it might be better for me to just go to Grandma’s. I don’t want to be bother to you. You probably really don’t want me here…I’m your little brother and I know how older siblings don’t want to even associate with their younger siblings at public functions or whatever.” Except maybe if you were the kind of siblings that Derek and Josh seemed to be. He knew that Gabriel’s older brother held him, but that was probably because of the Nightmare Disorder that his friend had…Then again, he kind of had feeling that even if Gabby didn’t have that disorder, Fillipe would still hold his brother…Maybe Alexis just had to have something wrong with him to get that kind of love and attention from his own brother.

He sighed to himself. “I’m not leaving because no one will talk to me…I mean…I can deal with that. I have a cell phone and Gabby talks as much as I do, so there won’t be a problem there…I mean…Riley and Derek didn’t really seem to ignore me…It was only Josh…we were left in the cabin alone while Riley and Derek were talking about their relationship…but Josh just got up and left without a word, even after I had said a few things to him…He didn’t answer me…or even acknowledge I was even talking to him.” He sighed again and shook his head. He didn’t want to sound like a baby who got all upset when no one talked to him. That wasn’t the case at all. He could deal with people he didn’t even know not talking to him. And having his cell phone helped a lot. Gabriel would talk to him and go on and on about his day and Alexis would do the same.

There he goes

Chie nodded, hearing the boy out. "Well, I'll be here...you can always talk to me..." he said, smiling warmly to the camper now. There was something about this kid that really made him smile...which was weird...

He rarely smiled to anyone...much less someone he had just met.

"Oh...My name's Chie...if you wanted to know..." he said, holding his hand out for the kid to shake. It was the hand that had the arm with the bandages. Suddenly, his stitches began to really itch, so that caused him to pull his hand back, rubbing the bandages. Dammit...why are the stitches ITCHING?! he thought, wincing as he saw some blood stain the otherwise white fabric. s**t... he cussed mentally as he pressed his other hand against the cloth, trying to stop the bleeding. It was just because of the fact that the stitches ripped slightly with him constantly rubbing it.

This is not the man I hoped to be
And I'm just trying to stop the bleeding
I don't know how to word it
I just started to deserve it

"Yeah, we'll go now." Derek sighed when he heard that Josh lied to their mother. "Josh... Fine I won't tell her." He shook his head he hated lying. It was something that he never tried to do, hence why he told Riley what happened. He stuck out his tongue at Josh when he got called an idiot. "Well, he looked like a girl." He smiled and messed up Josh's hair with a chuckle.

"B-But... I-I haven't played since..." He sighed and slumped his shoulders forward. "Fine." He grabbed the guitar and quickly left the cabin before he came back without it. He picked up Josh and smiled nervously at Riley before he headed to the other cabin. He went to his bed and put him down gently.

He smiled at Josh and picked up the guitar. "Only a song or two okay?" He ran his fingers along the strings. He hadn't played since he brought Riley home. He wasn't even sure if Riley had ever heard him play before. He cleared his throat and started to play a song called 'Trees'. After he finished, he smiled over at Josh. "There. Or do you want me to sing another song?" He asked hesitantly before he put the guitar beside him.

He ran his fingers through his hair and wondered why things between them had gotten so bad and why he hadn't tried harder to make it right with them. "How's the breathing?"

                              Sometimes being different...

                              ~{J} o s h {M}ichael {L} a n c i n g~

                              ...isn't such a bad thing.

Josh looked at Riley and gave him a weak smirk before rough coughs left his lips. He sucked in a quick breath and winced, his chest hurting. The only reason he wanted Riley was around was because when he'd first met Riley, he'd just gotten over a bad attack and Rley was staying with them. He had woked Derek up in the middle of the night because he couldn't breathe well at all. Josh listened to his brother play and smirked slightly. He took the guitar himself and picked it up. "I'll play 'Playin With the Boys' and then you can play another song, okay?"Josh said weakly with a small smile. He flashed the two of them his breathtaking smirk before he started strumming the cords of the Kenny Loggins song. He let his soft voice flow throughout the cabin, fun and energetic.

Josh felt so at ease strumming his guitar in a calm environment. He continued singing, his eyes still worn out and bloodshot from the lack of air. His voice seemed to sound raspier and congested as well as he sang the lyrics. Josh shook some hair off his pale face and smiled again as he took an easy breath. He finished the song with ease, but let out a shallow wheeze. Josh glanced over at Riley and raised an eyebrow for a moment. "Do you play any instruments? You seem like you'd be a musical person,"he wheezed breathlessly between a few more coughs. He glanced down at his phone when it went off again.

                                          From: Mom
                                          thats good sweetie
tell your brother to call me

                                          To: Mom
                                          got it.
                                          will do, love ya mom

Josh hit send and groaned softly. "Mom texted me yet again. She want's you to call her. She knows you won't lie to her and I don't think she trusts me all too much,"Josh said softly with a small blush growing on his cheeks. He took out his inhaler and struggled in as deep a breath of the medicine. He gave Derek a look when he asked how the breathing was. He felt terrible and his lungs weren't allowing him to breathe deeply. "It's terrible. I can't take a good breath at all. I don't think the inhaler is working again, but that could just be that I tired my lungs out with all the singing,"he wheezed weakly with a smile. Josh coughed roughly and leaned against Derek, hoping the close contact would help him calm down. He took a shallow breath and coughed harshly. Josh looked at Riley with teary eyes and took another ragged, wheezy breath from the inhaler.

Get it back, get it back, get it back now
Right now and leave it all far behind
Get it back, get it back, losing track now
Lights out, it's the only way we're gonna survive
The thrill is gone we need a change
Don't hide, don't sugarcoat the pain

Riley Andrew Thompson

Riley sat down on his own bed once they made it back to the other cabin. He had been surprised when Derek had agreed to play, he had never known that he could. He listened quietly as his former boyfriend played. He was good, at least in Riley's mind he was. He wished that he had heard him before, or asking him about it or something.

He studied Derek as Josh began to play. He knew he really shouldn't, but the whole playing thing had intrigued him. That there had been something he hadn't know about him. He knew that there much be a lot of things like that, but it still bothered him that he had not known. He also realized that he really shouldn't care anymore either but he did.

Josh's voice snapped him out of his thoughts and he looked over at him. He laughed at his question and shook his head. "Me? God no, I'm talentless when it comes to this kind of stuff. Don't get me wrong I like music a lot but I really can't sing or play anything. Ask your brother. He took me to a karaoke place once, they nearly kicked us out," he joked, grinning. He looked at Derek with a grin but then looked away again and sighed, it was hard to remember in some moments that things weren't the same anymore.

Riley sighed and continued to watch the brothers quietly. He hoped that Josh would feel better soon. From what he remembered his attacks were almost never this bad, at least that's what Derek had told him. Still he hoped that this was only for today, it would suck for Josh if this was a problem the whole camp, he's never have the time to do all the fun stuff.

                                          Ashton Demitri Zimmer

Ashton was walking around getting his bearings and admiring the scenery when he took in a deep breath and nearly doubled over in pain. Oh his ribs his ribs, why must they hurt so. He remembered why they hurt of course, he'd been participating in a gymnastics tournament and he'd landed funny. He'd gotten first place anyway, but he couldn't participate in the next one until it healed. His face held the pain he was feeling, as he walked to the cabin and grabbed one of his pill bottles out of it. Before he'd left, he'd gotten a stronger perscription of something from one of his doctors. He took one pill, as was prescribed and sat on his bed for a moment thinking of things. Before he knew it he'd dozed off into dreamland.

The room was dark and full of pain. There didn't seem to be any form of life here any more. The walls painted black and the carpet's caked in blood, invisible bodies, the life force seeping into the carpet grains. No furniture was marred in what seemed to be endless bloodshed. The bed covered in only the finest silk bed spread was unmarked, untainted by the hellish slaughter. There was a desk, in the corner, the laptop that sat on its flat surface blinking unashamedly with the words, "Come on and Save Me". Was it a message from the last people to see the light of day through the now blocked windows of this room, a message that was most certainly received to late? A trembling hand reached out towards the light switch, hesitant to discover who'd been sacrificed on these familiar grounds. Thin fingers grasped the switch, ignoring the squelch of recently splattered blood. With eyes closed the switch was flipped the light pouring into every inch of the room and under the slit of the eyelid. Eyes opened slowly to reveal the horrors the room had in store.

It was like one of those moments where the person in the movies dropped their glass in shock, except this was no movie. This was reality, and the reality was, someone had murdered the family. The twin brother he'd grown up with, the mother that had catered to every single whim that popped into that scheming mind of his. Of course there was his father off to the side, a whole the size of a watermelon going completely through his chest cavity, in fact all of his family members had holes going through their chest cavity's, their hearts gone missing. Who would commit such a horrible crime on such an innocent family, and if they wanted to kill the family, why hadn't they killed him as well? He'd only been just in the other room, watching the television from his perch on the old leather couch. Why hadn't he heard anything? He was still too shocked to even process it all when He heard a noise coming from the living room, the exact room she had occupied only moments before.

His pale features stood out in the darkened hallway as he stepped quietly towards the living room to investigate. As he got closer and closer to his destination, his heart beat and apprehension seemed to get louder and louder. He hoped to all that was good in the world that the killer had already left the premises and hadn't stayed to wait for him to come back. Oh but he knew all too well at this moment that anything was possible. He paused when he reached the entry way, just peering around the corner to spot.... No one, he had just left the T.V. on, phew. He walked out, heading towards the TV and clicking the off button. The screen faded to black and he turned around shaking her head, "I must be losing my mind." But then his eyes focused on the sneering face of someone he knew quite well and had loved at one time or another; his ex.

Things had ended poorly between them, a fight about him cheating on him or whatever. He never had actually done anything wrong but he never believed him and blamed him till this day. But that was the past. The present was that he was lounging on his couch a pile of hearts to his right, his usually spotless clothes covered in the blood of his family. "Hello Love, did you miss me?" His eyes widened and his throat tightened. Again he was in shock and didn't have enough air flow at the moment to muster up a good scream, but that didn't matter to him. The fear on his face was good enough. "Oh love, don't worry, are you afraid of me? I just tore your family's hearts out like you tore mine out." He was smiling sadistically as he reached into what looked like a holster and pulled out an object that was quite obviously a hand gun. "And now do you know what I'm going to do?" He shook his head, his eyes wide like a deer in headlights, "I'm going to make sure that you never get the chance to do that to anyone ever again." And that's when he pulled the trigger.

This was always the point at which Ashton woke up crying, screaming, and clutching at the sheets underneath him. He stood, looking around before running out of the cabin and towards the lake he'd seen earlier. He sat with a quiet fwump and buried his head in his arms still sobbing quietly. Why did that dream haunt him so, why... His ex was dead, of a drug overdose and would never harm his already dead family...

                              ~{J} o s h {M}ichael {L} a n c i n g~

                              ...isn't such a bad thing.

Josh laughed slightly when Riley said they were almost kicked out of a karaoke place. His laugh soon turned into a rough cough, his eyes widening as he struggled to take in a simple breath of air. When he was younger, the attacks hadn't been too bad, but since he got older, his lungs got worse and he wasn't allowed to do alot of things in fear he might trigger a bad attack. He was used to it all though. Josh hated taking the daily medications, but it was what he had to do to live. He took a deep breath and smiled. "I'll play 'Tattoo' next, and then you may have the guitar my lovely brother,"Josh said with a heavy wheeze following his words. He was stressing out over his breathing still, but he figured it would slow down in time. He strummed the opening cords before he started to sing the Jordin Sparks song.

Josh let out a slow wheeze and winced, his throat rejecting the sound. He continued to sing though, even though his voice was sounding more stressed and breathless. His body was starting to give way and was telling him to relax. Josh stopped in the middle of the song and immediatly went for his inhaler. He pressed the white plastic to his lips and gasped deeply. Josh coughed mid-inhale, not letting the meds reach his lungs at all. "Good to know. Note to self, never buy Ry a musical instrument,"he wheezed weakly with a laugh. He glanced down at his phone when it went off yet again.

                                          From: Mom
                                          are you okay?
why hasn't your brother called me yet?

                                          To: Mom
                                          i'm fine
                                          he's busy
i'm sure he'll call you later
                                          chill out

Josh hit send and groaned softly. "Mom needs to stop texting. I should have never taught her how to text at all,"Josh wheezed weakly, shaking his head softly. He dizzily curled up to his brother, trying to slow his gasps down a little bit. He was making himself freak out and panic more than he should have been to begin with. He could feel the asthma pulling at his lungs, making him panic and freak out. "Talk please. It really hurts to take a breath. I can't breathe properly at all. I'm scared,"he wheezed, burying his face in Dereks chest. Josh closed his eyes, listening to his brothers breathing and taking a deep breath of his scent. He could feel Rileys gaze on him, but he freaked out so much during attacks, that he got used to being stared at so often. Josh was shaking and he could feel the muscles in his chest pulling as he tried to take a rough breath, they were strained and struggled as he tried to relax more and catch his breath.

((This is my last post for today. I live on the east coast of the US, goodnight y'all. I'll post again after school tomorrow. Don't get too far ahead pretty, pretty please. Thanks y'all!!!!))

-----------------------------------I really don't like to.
-----------------------------------Lying just really isn't my thing.
-----------------------------------But when it's all I can do...

"Yeah, that does sound like you." he mumbled, shaking his head lightly in amusement. Honestly it was kind of weird that his brother dressed like he did, but Jake had never said anything about it. To each his own after all. He had to raise an eyebrow at the hat on his brother's head though. That seemed a bit impractical in general. Then again, so were alot of clothing Alex wore. At least they were impractical in Jake's opinion. "But you really should stay though, Alex. I'm sure you'll like it. I'll just have to make sure you wear the normal shoes." he spoke, grinning again. It was rather obvious that Jake was pretty oblivious to Alexis' wants from him. Though he would probably ignore those wants anyways. Jake just wasn't that close to his brother.

Shaking his head negatively, Jake sighed again. "You didn't ruin my plans. You being here just makes them a bit harder since I have to pay extra attention to you." 'Though maybe not the attention you would think...' he added again, frowning again. He wasn't directly lying to his sibling but he sure was skirting around what his plan was. Another eyebrow went upwards. "Just because you're my little brother doesn't mean I don't want to be associated with you." he shook his head lightly, "Where are these coming from, Alex?"

Silently listening to the smaller blond, Jake frowned lightly. "Well, I would suggest hitting him for it. But Josh apparently has asthma. That and you don't really seem to be able to hit someone." he teased, before sighing again. "Honestly Alex, I'd be disappointed if you just left. I'm sure mom would be too. But if you really, honestly, want to, I won't stop you." he paused. "Just expect me to try and kidnap you back here at every possible moment." another pause. "And I think you might have to consult the other councilors before you just leave. I can't really say that you can go without them OKing it."

-----------------------------------------------------------------------'Sides, I'll come out eventually.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------I'll just do it on my own time.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------And preferably they won't mind.

i WRiTE SiNs, NoT TRAGEDiEs . . .

Chie suddenly heard someone crying, and saw someone else come to the beach. He grabbed his stuff, seeing that the two brothers were talking, and he wasn't really interested in brother talk at all...

He walked over to the boy who was upset, slowly sitting next to him. "Hey...what's wrong?" he asked, his voice gentle. He could tell htere...was something really wrong, or something really upsetting that had happened to him not too long ago. "Do you need any help?" he asked gently, not knowing what else to do.

His shirt was still off, which exposed his chest still. He shot a quick glance back at the younger brother, for some reason finding him still a bit more attractive than anyone he had ever seen before...

Though, the kid he now was near was cute too...
