►►She passed out papers, and sighed. She had just read the message from Alice. Just as she was about to put her phone away, she got 2 new messages. Smiling, she saw they were from the twins. She quickly keyed in the messages and slid her phone back into her pocket. She turned in her finished work then asked to go to the nurse. She really wasn't feeling all too great about Amy and Alex being alone together. Or about her friend having to move. Sighing softly again, she grabbed her stuff and walked out of the room, supposedly to the nurse's office. Taking a different course, she made her way to her locker, deposited her books, then practically ran to the library. She saw Felicity with her head between her arms, resting on the desk before her. She hurried over to her and hugged her tightly.

She watched as he frowned. She couldn't help but frown too. He may be cute when he frowned, but that didn't mean he wasn't obviously upset. When he pulled her outside she sighed. Rain. One of her favorite things in the world. It felt great on her face. She gasped when he lifted her up and set her on the hood. She leaned back and let his music unknot her tense muscles. That combined with the rain was the best feeling in the world. Of course, Luke probably had something to do with the feeling too. Like everything may be okay even though she was moving. She listened to his logical solution to her problem and looked at his face when he was done. He looked so sad and pleading. She hadn't realized how much he liked her or how much she had liked him before now. She nodded. "I guess I could ask my father.... I definitely have enough money in my bank account to carry on on my own. Then there's the money my father has been saving up for me to go to college and so forth. He doesn't know I know about that though. I have a car, that I paid for myself, and I bought everything in my room with my own money too. Are you sure you want to make a commitment that big though? What if you stop liking me? I don't want you to regret it later," she reasoned. As far as the smile thing, "Damn smile..." she rolled her eyes at herself. There didn't seem to be a problem with the plan. Now she just had to get her father to agree. He may want to hold on to her because she's still his "little girl", but she knows he'll make the right decision for HER. Ever since her mother died, he's been holding on tight, but now it's time for the baby bird (her) to fly the coop. She didn't need his help to fly anymore.

Luke smirked when she asked what would happen if he stopped liking her. He debated on cutting her off with a kiss, but let her talk. When she was finished he gave her a look like 'puh-leez', and rolled his eyes playfully.
"Even if I stopped loving you, I would never stop liking you. And though I doubt the chances of ever not loving you, we'll always be friends," he smiled and softly took her hand, brushing his thumb across her knuckles before giving her another soft kiss. They were both becoming drenched in the rain and it made him giggle a little. When a techno song blasted from the speakers, he snatched her hand and danced with her in the parkinglot. When it finished, however, he smiled brightly at her.
"Come on, we should get to your dads before its too late."

She was surprised when he used the word love. She knew she was having strong feelings for him, but she didn't know he felt that strongly too. She felt wet to the bone and she felt great. When he grabbed her hand and kissed it she blushed a little, but the color left her face when he started to dance with her. She giggled too and showed off a little. Those dance classes she took when she was little paid off pretty well right now. When they were done she nodded in agreement. "Yeah, let's take my Lexus. We have twenty five minutes to get there and explain. I think we can do it. Now we get to listen to MY music." She grabbed his hand and ran to her car at the other side of the parking lot. When she got in she turned on her iPod and Freaxxx by Brokencyde blasted through the speakers. She blushed a little. People probably didn't expect her to be the type to listen to this kind of music. She bobbed her head along and pulled out of the lot.

"It was after second block.We were sitting in the hallway and I offered to tutor her because she was failing most of her classes and then she said I couldn't and kissed me then ran away." He said softly. Caden pulled out his phone. He typed in a quick message then sent it and slide it away. Caden sighed again and closed his eyes. Stuff was becoming more clear when he talked to Alice.

Luke let her lead him away and smirked at her choice in music. So they were a lot more alike then he expected! Luke let her drive and watched her puppy eyed look when they got there.
"Choices, choices, he teased and got out of the car, taking her hand and walking with her to her house, letting her lead the way inside. Luke was awe-strucked at the house. Blinking and swallowing a little hard at first. It was so beautiful! He smiled a little and looked to her. So beauty lived in a life of beauty, even if her past was dark.

She smiled when she saw how awe-struck he looked. She laughed lightly and led him through her house. She didn't have to be a genius to know where her father would be. She stopped outside a beautifully ornate door. She sighed and opened it. She saw him kneeling beside the bed with his head down. She didn't want to disturb him so she stood there for a moment, giving him time to feel her there. A couple of seconds later he looked up. He smiled sadly at her, not seeing Luke who had stayed by the door. "Your mother loved this room from the second we moved in. She ran all through the house looking for the best bedroom. She found it," he sighed and looked around the now bare room. "I remember her saying she knew right when she saw the door that this was going to be her room. She was so happy when she was in here. We never had one bad memory in this room. I'm hoping we can pass that on to whomever may move in. So are you ready to go?" He asked her. Her eyes had started to well up and tears silently spilled over onto her cheeks. She shook her head. "I'm not so sure dad." When he asked her what was wrong she pointed to Luke. "It's not what's wrong, it's what's finally right. Dad, this is Luke. Luke, this is my dad," she said waving Luke over. They shook hands and her father looked down and then heavenward. He stood like that for a little bit, nodded his head slowly, and finally looked at her. But she wasn't looking at him. She was looking at Luke. Her dad spoke. "I knew this would happen sooner or later. I can see it in your eyes. You are such a catch I knew you wouldn't be in the market that much longer. You love him don't you?" She looked at Luke, then turned back to her dad. She nodded. "Yes. Yes I do. I hope you understand..." Her father cut her off with his hand. "No need to explain. I already do," he turned to Luke, "And you love her back, no?" When Luke nodded a little weakly he nodded too. He turned back to Alice. "You want to keep living here, with him?" When Alice shook her head yes he reached into his pocket and pulled out a set of keys. He tossed them to her. "The house is yours. You have enough money in your accounts to be able to pay for it, and I will help from Africa of course with the payments too." Alice eyes widened. She turned to Luke and opened her mouth, but no sound would come out. She was hoping he would say something.

Luke silently listened to her father, and a part of him felt bad for taking his daughter away from him. When they shook hands, he smiled a soft smile. He was being as polite as possible, wanting to show Alice's dad how much she truly meant to him. Luke bit down on his lip as Alice began to explain, and was just as shocked when her father gave them the keys to the house. He stood there a moment, quite awestruck.
This house?! His mind screamed mentally while he blinked a few times, snapping out of it. He swallowed hard and cleared his throat, looking at Alice with a soft smile and taking her hand firmly, but gently in his own.
"We'll take good care of this house," he began, I really hope you'll come visit? It would be nice to get to know you better, sir." Luke smiled and turned to look at Alice with a bright smile, but his eyes hid a message.
I hope I'm being polite enough!

What Luke said made her laugh. He was being so polite. It warmed her, yet made her want to start being rude to even out the amount of politeness in the room. She snuck a look at her father and saw he had tears in his eyes. "Oh father, Mother would be so proud of you right now," she said reaching out and hugging him tightly. The little girl in her wanted to hold on and never let go. Follow wherever he went for the rest of her life. The more mature side of her was glad she was finally taking the step neccesary to becoming her own person. She still felt really bad for her dad. All alone. The she had an idea. She was going to get him the pet he's always wanted. She would ship it out ahead of him so that when he arrived in his new home it would be waiting for him. Perfect. Besides, he would never be alone. He always had mom. The thought made her want to cry, but she didn't want to in front of Luke. When she let go she looked up at him. He wasn't the youngest thing anymore, but he was still strong in spirit. He would make it through this. When Luke mentioned the part about him visiting them she perked up. "Or... we could visit you! I've never been to Africa." Her dad looked at Luke and replied, "Who said you're living here too?" He looked serious and then a second later, after he had seen the look on Luke's face, he laughed. "I'm only kidding. Of course you're going to live here with her. But you have to promise me you will help her keep the promise she made long ago," he said pointing to her promise ring. Alice laughed nervously at that. "I look forward to getting to know you too. Come here, son," he said pulling Luke into a hug. Not an awkward one, but a nice fatherly hug. He whispered in his ear, "You take care of my little girl now, you hear?" He said it with his voice craking slightly.

Luke was about to say something when the man said he was only kidding and a smile went right back to being on his face. He smiled and continued to listen, nodding at ever word, absorbing it in. He blinked when he was taken into a hug. He hadn't been hugged before, or at least not by a fatherly figure. His parents had died in a car crash, he was the only one who survived from the spot he was sitting in. He was only two years old. His uncle, blamed him, for they were driving him to preschool. He never bluntly came out and blamed him, but Luke knew he did.

Hugging back Luke gave a comforting squeeze to the man.
I promise," Luke muttered softly and then looked towards the time.
"Your going to miss your flight, want us to drive you to the airport?"

Alice felt her phone vibrate. She opened it and looked at the message. Her eyes widened and she typed a reply. She hit send and looked up at Caden, smiling. "Really?" she asked softly, smiling at him.

It would be great but then he would have to break up with Felicity and then talk to Jasmine about what happened.

He's the one I Love, the one I Need! He's the one who's always been nice to Me.

Marian was lying in her bed, math book and pencil on her lap, and looking up at her ceiling. She got to thinking about how Cute Jesse looked today, then sighed knowing she couldn't see him until tomorrow. Marian was an incredibly busy person, but when she found the time away from her homework she was hanging out with Jesse or her friends. Yeah ... grades were majorly important to her family, so she was always focused with them. Sometimes Marian would fake having 'trouble' with her math homework just so Jesse could come over and help 'tutor' her with that section. Ha, she always understood it, but her parents believe her.
Once she got done daydreaming, Marian sat up and picked up her pencil, looking down at her homework and seeing she only had one problem left. With a sigh of relief, seeing as this was her last assignment for today, she watched as the pencil flew gracefully against the paper, writing out her answer and heading. Finally she slammed her math book shut and flew both her Pencil and Book onto the ground, then grabbing her phone from her wooden desk, next to her bed, and waited for someone to text her. She loved people, a lot!
