Irony has a way of always being around. Almost hovering around us until the timing feels right. What about those long term ironies too though? Things like your name meaning grace when you live your life clumsy. Or maybe a fox who isn't all that witty. Well for those of us who thrive in this slightly amusing yet frustrating state there is only one place for us to go.
Welcome to The Forest of Paradox, where we the useless animals make our homes. We each may be in the form of an animal, some of us simply rabbits, others mythical, unicorns, griffins, and more. Though for us this visual image means nothing for we seem to be the opposite of the generic or stereotypical vibe that our species tends to give off. Since we are all in this state of satire we have come together to soak in it as a group.

Thus, we are the Useless Animals of The Forest of Paradox.

• deal with rabbit and the geek. they are your useless masters in this thread. we may seem harsh, but we're very friendly childish people, just sick of dying roleplays and the smart kids who kill them. (insert sarcasm in that last bit about smart kids.)
• be literate. that means no chat speak, no 4-5 sentence paragraphs. we want at least 2-4 paragraphs. that's not much to ask, we don't want novels, but we want some substance please.
• do not simply leave this roleplay. we would like commitment please. so that means posting at least every three days without a legitimate reason before you leave. even though we make no promises that we will allow you to keep your slot. we dislike waiting. patience is a virtue we do not have thank you.
• no godmodding please, you may think you're all high and mighty, but then i must ask you, why did you join a useless animal roleplay? 'kay thanks. when you send in your reserves title your pm 'save the useless animals'.
• when you make a reserve you have three days to send in your profile before the reserve is null without a legitimate reason for it being late. if it is more than 5-6 days late even with reason we may have to null your reserve regardless, we are sorry, patience again...not our B.
• romance is allowed and highly encouraged for drama and such but please be weary of the young eyes. we don't want to hear your bathroom stories, if you need to let us in on the fact that you did 'that' please just make implications of it's happening. we don't want to hear the details, ewh. for sending in profiles title your pm 'damekko dobutsu'.
• okay, now i understand i said earlier, that we can be based off of griffins, unicorns, pegasus, anything, but please, we're not warlocks my friends. we don't shoot fairy dust when we sneeze, we're not wand waving lunatics, let's keep the sparkles to ourselves please.
• violence is of course okay for comedy effect or anger and such, but please don't turn this into mortal combat. we are useless animals in a forest, not weight lifters. dramatic changes of the body is fine, but no killing, or extreme things. illness is also something we must limit, deathly illness makes roleplaying useless unless you have some magic back up character. which you won't. so....don't do it. or your character will both be dead from your illness, and dead to us. useless animals don't morn very long, we're slightly useless.
• we are useless animals, but come now people, we're not your generic furry. i hate that stuff. no mature content weird crazy fur covered fluffy mess anime chicks okay? we're not your broken japanese talking 'kitsune' or 'neko' freaks. no thanks, we don't want those. we don't want your stereotypical fox women. leave that to geek's firefox browser icon.
• rules are subject to change as needed. we will notify if such happens, unless we're too lazy. then we're sorry for the mishap. we're lazy people...ya' know...useless animals.
• rabbits dislikes capitals quite clearly but please do try to use them in your posts, she will as well.
• if you've actually seen this show, which few have, please do not steal the characters. you are free to bounce off the shows ideas but no copying it please. it's illegal and lacks originality, geek doesn't like it!

The small red headed girl had been traveling by foot for some odd days, maybe even weeks now. Usually this would cause a person to frown, wither, and whine, but this girl grinned bright. She was Tori Shay Kimmel, your modern day natural hipster. She loved being on the road, and enjoying nature for itself. New places made her even happier, so this journey of hers was splendid. "Ahhh, who needs to be able to swing in the trees, I'm quite enjoy-" she began before getting cut off by her own faulty feet. The girl had caught herself on a root and went sprawling to the ground. She but sighed and stood again shaking herself off and rubbing the back of her head. "Not like I could regardless." she finished with a sigh before giving a huff and twisting the return to her adventuring.

The girl had changed sceneries without herself knowing. Though that fall got the message across quite clear, she had come upon a forest patch it seemed. She bit her lip nervously knowing she's have to be very careful not to fall into things. Tori loved to explore, don't get me wrong, but she was prone to accident and quite clumsy. The girl slowly crept her way through the woods watching her moccasin covered feet all the while. Though this wasn't a very smooth idea either, soon enough, the girl hit a stand still, why's this? Well simply put, she hit a tree. You could hear a sudden 'eep' of sorts echo through the woods followed by a high to low groan. The girl shook her head, but again, didn't help. Here comes Tori's usual chain of events that don't tend to end up good. She shook her head but was then full of a drunk sensation and wobbled on all four through the woods. Eventually she felt a clearing of grass and rolled over to lay on her back.

With this she let out a sigh and let her head and eyes calm themselves in this clearing. Opening her eyes to the clearing she smiled still, Tori loved the soft feel of grass, and how the light made patterns through the trees. She lay there before shooting up looking as hough she had an idea, though no one was around to see this look. Maybe she could take residence here, if only to find some other people to ask. With this she sat up looking around curiously hoping to see someone without actually having to move to find them. Though she was without success so just flopped her body back down on her stomach. The girl lay in the grass hoping someone would just come along, she was tiring of a lonely journey, she wanted a home, and a friend. These were the times where her clumsiness was saddening, she wished to go with her friends in the trees. Not to mention it'd make looking for things easier and faster. "Oh well..." she thought before letting out another sigh and relaxed from her journey through the woods.

Lilith!

Everybody, groove to the music, everybody jam!

Somewhere in that confounded patch of green and brown flora that Tori had found herself in was a patch of red, black and white rolling through the grass in a manner similar to a rolling pin.

Lilith Christina Stanford was not your average fox, for sure. She rolled back and forth through her favorite patch of grass- the softest in the forest, no doubt- and giggled happily until it so happened that she became slightly dizzy. With a confused groan, the fox pulled her knees up closer to her chest and sat up to hold her head while it steadied itself. She got a decent whiff of the crisp, fresh forest air upon doing so, and was eternally grateful for such a luxury. Who wanted to hunt and smell blood all day when the breeze was good enough? Who wanted to move on lazy, sunny days such as these?

Not Lilith. One can be sure of that.

When the fox returned to her usual half-baked sense of balance, she perked up with a twitch of the ears. Her head turned slowly to the cause of her minor spasm, and a smile spread across her eager face. A delicate yellow butterfly had fluttered past on its merry business, right past Lilith's nose. With a smile, Lilith stumbled up to her feet and ran right for the butterfly with all the strength she managed to muster on that lazy day. "Waaait! Come back, I want to play with you!" she yelled in excitement.

So the chase began. Lilith fumbled over pebbles, tripped over roots, and toppled over fallen logs, but persisted in her chase to catch the butterfly. And finally, as she reached a small clearing, she thought she was in the safe zone and began to gain speed. "I got you now, butterfly! Come back, I just wanna pla-- OOHMPH!"

Well, Lilith was a vegetarian, but she did not enjoy eating grass or earth much. She pulled herself up and spit the earth that gathered in her mouth. Her ears drooped from the aftertaste, and she turned around to look at the cause.

A tail flick and ear perk later, it was obvious that Lilith forgot all about the butterfly. She had tripped over another creature!
