Another figure was also rising, though perhaps that wouldn't be the right word for her activity. In fact the figure wasn't waking up, instead she was already awake, having never gone to sleep in the first place. It was her own little trick for coping with jet-lag, simply staying up until she was so exhausted she promptly fell asleep at the proper hour, usually around midnight.
With a book in hand she yawned and the proceeded to fold the corner of her just finished page, successfully marking her spot Annabelle moved to rise from the chair she had curled herself into. "This is lonely," she muttered, seeing no other signs of life from within her own band. Her hand grabbed blindly until it found her phone, a quick pressing of a button telling her it was far too early to consider calling or texting her brother for some company. "Perhaps I'll go meet the other band?" she wondered aloud, stretching her body that had been curled up for so long. With a slight nod of affirmation at her own idea, she left the book behind and made her way towards the area designated for their competition.
"Hello?" she called, loudly in her opinion but in reality not very loud at all. "My names Annabelle," she threw out just for good measure, hoping she seemed friendly enough that someone would come forth and perhaps converse with her for awhile.
