Somewhere near the Canadian Rockies there is a small town named Pine Ridge. Stepping into the town, one would be hard-pressed to believe modern civilization exists only an hour's drive away in Calgary. Originally a mining settlement, the town boomed during the 1800s, but quickly fell into obscurity due to its unwillingness to modernize. Nowadays the town's rustic charm is its main selling point. Unlike other mountain settlements, no chain hotels mar the landscape - all tourists stay in the solitary, quaint, family-owned mountain lodge. Everyone in the town knows one another, and they are some of the most friendly and welcoming people you will ever meet.
During the holiday season the town lights up with Christmas decor and life. Tourists come for their holiday ski trips, families return from their big city jobs or university, and Pine Ridge becomes warm and lively rather than sleepy and still. Countless events take place leading up to the town's annual Christmas Parade. It is the start of December, and most of the townsfolk are already in the Christmas spirit.

they are in place mostly to avoid sixteen repeated archetypes. please don't.
you may play up to two characters, they must be of opposite gender if ratios are uneven.
if not, you can play two girls or two guys or whatever you want.
please keep sexuality ratios even - people do join slice of life partially for shipping.
also, you should plot out ships and plot bunnies in the ooc between characters.
characters should look their age - no 20 year old fcs as 30 year old characters.
