We all remember those times. The scorching rays of the sun, the wash of the waves as we spend our time on the beach, yearning for a tan. Summer's come, and the fun's yet begun. Welcome to Payton Beach, where the drama unfolds for these teenagers. School has just let out, and these teens have come from all over the world to spend their summer in the best resort in California. The price of Payton Beach is fairly expensive, sending only the elite teens to it's sandy beaches, but the price is well worth it. All resort in a five-star hotel with service galore, and the senery is spectacular.

These kids are richer beyond rich. They're who everyone wants to be, and they know it. However, at Payton, everyone's rich, and nobodies used to not being center-stage. From the surfing in the sun to the night parties, drama is around every corner.

The best part about Payton Beach: A no-parent policy.

This guy looks about twenty-two, but don't be fooloed, he's 19. Sexy, and charming, Steven is a heart-throb, and he knows it. Born on April 2, he holds an annual bash for his birthday, in which only the elite are invited. Poor you. He's the youngest of three. His dad is a work-aholic, but his mom has always tried to be there for them. She tried to treat them equally, but since Steven's the youngest, he's always been in her favorite. The other's know it, and hate him for it.

Working out to him is a major hobby, and he's good at surfing. He'd die without his blackberry, and everythiing he wears is tailored. He's always seen with girl's hanging off of him, and that's the way he likes it. He's never been in love, but he's had his share of screwing with other girls. He has a thing for breaking rules, but can always gets away with it from his charm and suave. He models for various company's around the world, but Ford model is his big one. He's never had to try at anything in his life, it's always come natural to him. In the end, that just might be his downfall. Steven's up there though, careful what you do.

Only 18 years old, Hayden has everything others dream of. He has the looks, he has the money, he has the power. What others don't know though is that he secretly despises it. His father was never really around. He'd always put business in front of family. His mother died when he was very young so he really didn't know her. Unlike most kids, he had to grow up on his own.

Hayden keeps to himself most of the time. It's not easy for him to let anyone in. He's never depended on anyone besides himself. Who could blame him. His father was never around. He wasn't really a father. Hayden secretly referred to him as "financial support". There were a few people he'd let in past, but like most of the other times they just ended up using him. He keeps his emotions hidden, not wanting to show any weakness. He's anything, but weak. Well...emotionally he is.

The one thing he loves is MMA. He's a fighter at heart, but never picks the fights. The only time he lets his bottled up emotions loose is when he's training. All the anger, all the hate, all the fear is gone when he trains. He feels its the one thing hes worked at in his life. Some would say its the only thing he has worked at...

Chris was born on the ocean, literally. On August twenty-fifth his mom went into labor when she and his dad were on a cruise. Sadly enough, his family actually lived inland. Kansas of all places. His dad owned a huge agricultural company. He has always been very outgoing and fun-loving, and he loves the company of others. Especially those of the opposite sex. He's a flirt, and that's it. He's not a player that he tends to be accused of being. It was in that empty void people call a state that Chris discovered his love of capturing the world around him on a roll of film. Since he was old enough to hold a camera, he has been taking pictures of anything of everything he could. His dad ended up finding a new need to add grapes that used to make wine to the list of things his company owned and grew.

They moved to Northern California and everyone in his family loved it. Except for him. The population in his area was filled with nothing but rich snobs. He hated it. In an attempt to get their son to fit in with his peers, and out of his photography 'phase', they sent him to Payton Beach for the summer. He snuck his favorite camera into his luggage, and now that he is here at the beach, who knows what beautiful shots will become available to him.

Corrine Spencer, also known as Cory, was born on March twenty-four a little over seventeen years ago. She was born and raised in a small town near Payton Beach among her three caring, older brothers. Their parents were busy workers trying to support the family, so Cory and her brothers spent a lot of time together while their parents were away on business trips. Growing up around three boys had a big effect on her. Because of them, she became a bit of a tomboy who was stubborn, audacious, and spontaneous. Her friends would also describe her as a total sweetheart: outgoing, kind, clumsy, and an animal lover. But if you got to know Corrine better, you’d realize that she was a big dreamer with her head always up in the clouds and her nose buried in a book.

When Cory was little, she didn’t play with dolls or held tea parties. Instead she helped build rockets and went fishing. But the only girly thing she did as a child was dance. Her mother had insisted for her to attend a ballet class in an attempt to make her child less like a boy. Since then she still danced many different forms, was always up for a challenge, and was always a sore loser. If you provoked her enough, you could even have a taste of Corrine’s fiery short temper.

Looking for the real definition of girly-tomboy? Have no fear! JC is here! Judith Clair Garza is one of those girls who's always had it and always will. She's figured out the perfect blend between the rock-climbing gun-toting side and the pink-loving Barbie girl.
She lives with her dad in his penthouse apartment. Her parents are divorced and have been since she was seven. A lot of people think that it's scandalous for a girl as pretty as Judy to live alone in an apartment with her father, and it just might be, but her mother is addicted to cocaine and has some rather unsavory...callers...
As for her personality, Judith takes the world by storm, or at least by surprise. She goes with her gut and is a determined flirt. One might say that she has a fighter's personality. One of the few down falls is that she is never really cautious. She throws warnings and common sense to the wind. She thrives in an atmosphere of danger or suspense.
JC has dozens of hobbies. She loves running, beach volley-ball, surfing, swimming, rock-climbing, dancing, clubbing, text/chat marathons, driving, and shopping. Unlike many of her wealthy friends, she actually has goals for the future that don't involve some sort of rehab. College is looms ahead. She wants to make this a summer to remember.

Today Is Friday, June 2nd. School has been out for two weeks now, and everyone just arrived at Payton Beach. A huge party is happening that night, and everyone's invited. This time. Whose coming with whom, and who's hanging with whom? Text messages are flying, and glances are being passed. Summer at Payton has begun.

Steven entered the hotel, the butler behind him carrying his bags. Sliding his shades to the top of his head, he checked in at the front desk before grabbing his room keys and making his way up the elevator. Attractive girls passed by him, all shooting him flirtatious glances, and he winked back. He could already tell that he was going to enjoy summer. Reaching the fifth floor of the Payton Hotel, he found his room 512, and unlocked his suite. Stepping inside, the butler set his things down and took his tip before leaving. Taking his bags, he began to unpack them in the closet, and into the dresser drawers. When he was about 15, he hadn’t seen the need to dresser drawers; they had always seemed like decoration, and he had simply used the large closets. However, as he got older, he got lazier, and began using both. Just another one of his habits.

He finished packing away his clothes, and stepped out onto the balcony. The warm summer sun sprayed across his golden locks, creating a lustrous shine. A suite to stay in, no parents, and the beach in his backyard, he mused to himself as he gazed at the sea, his eyes growing hazy. He felt the urge to surf, and returned back inside. Changing into his royal blue swim trunks, he grabbed his surf board, and slathered on sunscreen on his bronze skin. Making his way back down the elevator, he ran out to the beach, and let out a whoop, and he flooded into the warm water.

The car slowly came to a halt as it pulled in front of the hotel doors. The driver of the vehicle stepped out and walked to the other side and fixed his coat before opening the door. A figure emerged from the car and stood at 5' 11". His green eyes scanned the hotel up and down. He sighed and then grabbed his bags from the driver. He strapped his dufflebag that had his MMA gear around him and then lifted up the handle to his larger suitcase and dragged it behind him as he walked.

Every hotel started to look the same to him. Places like these didn't really impress him anymore. Not since he was younger. His dad use to always drag him to places like these on his business trips. He wondered why his dad sent him here. Yeah they had the money and everything, but they had places like this at home. Why did he suggest on sending him this far just to "have fun and relax"? He shook his head and continued to walk. This vacation would just get in the way of his MMA training. Luckily he brought his gear with him so that he could train.

Hayden walked over to the counter and checked in. He took his room key from the woman that was working and headed toward the elevator. He turned his head back and looked at her and caught her looking at him. She stared for another second and then looked away as he gave her a slight smile. He turned back and pressed the button on the elevator to take it to the top floor. He watched the numbers above the elevator light up as elevator came down. The doors slid open and he stepped in. He pressed the button for the top floor and watched as the elevator took him up. Less than a minute later the doors opened again and he stepped out. He walked around the corner and headed all the way towards the end of the hallway and inserted his keycard. The door clicked and then unlocked. He opened it and walked in.

The room was fairly large. It had his bedroom, a kitchen, a bathroom, and a living room. It was pretty much a home away from home. He walked over and set his things in the bedroom next to his bed and then headed toward the balcony. He took hold of the railing as he stared out at the view. He saw that more people were arriving, mostly girls around his age. Maybe this trip isn't going to be so bad..

He changed into a pair of blue and white swim trunks, threw on a white tank top, and put on a white t-shirt over that. He grabbed his wallet and his put his keycard inside and walked out of his suite and took the elevator back down to the bottom floor. The girl behind the counter looked at him again. He slightly gave her a wave with his right hand and then walked out to the pool side and took a seat at the bar.

While waiting for the elevator some guys walked past her, she smiled. She hears the ding of the elevator doors opening, and walks into it. As she stands there listening to the elevator music she starts thinking to her self I wonder if ill actually meet someone worth while on this trip. The elevator doors open and she walks out, she passes each door checking the number trying to find her own. Spotting it she slides the door key in opening the door. She walks in going straight to the bedroom she lays there staring up at the ceiling wondering what this trip may bring. All of a sudden there was a knock she gets up and answers it.

"Yes?"she replies.
"I have your luggage mam", a very cute bellhop proclaims.
"Thank you", she says smiling.

Taking her luggage she walks back to the bedroom and opens the biggest suit case. Pulling out her blue bikini she begins to change.

Judith Clair Garza signed her soul away. Of course, it was just a little purchase at the hotel gift shop to take back home to make her friends jealous and angry, but singing credit-card receipts sometimes seemed like she was giving her soul away. Tortoiseshell sunglasses kept her layered blond hair from falling in her face when she didn't want it to, and already a light tan coated her skin. Today was a casual day. Today she wore black jean shorts and a gray tank-top with the green-and-yellow striped halter of her bikini showing underneath. The look was completed with faded pink sneakers and the diamond tennis bracelet that she has worn ever since they day she turned fifteen.

All of her things were already in her room except for what she had with her, for which she was thankful. That meant that she could find her room later without having to carry a heavy, cumbersome bag around with her. She walked out of the gift shop and into the warm summer sun. Almost immediately she could feel it's effects. Judith desperately needed something cool and liquidy, but there was no way that she would go to a hotel bar in the daytime. That was only something loser loner desperate freaks did. And she was no loser loner desperate freak. The pool bar would suit her just fine, so she headed that direction.
