xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxA group of eight teenagers have been waiting all of senior year for there awesome party at one of the San Diego beach houses. The one thing is that the host of the party had her friend invite one person and that person invited someone else and so on. So no one really knows each other. What they think is going to be a few weeks of fun in the sun, might turn into a drama filled trip. When ex's meet again, or someone sees that girl he thought he would never see again. But all of that is your choice, enjoy!

Autumn starred up at the ceiling. She hadn't had much sleep last night. She had stayed up all night fearing the nightmares she was tormented by every night about drowning. She slowly got out of bed and walked to her suit case. She put on one of her bathing suits then pulled on a pair of shorts. She needed to clear her mind and oddly surfing would be the way to do that. She wasn't going to let her fear stop her from doing something she loved. Slipped on a pair of flip flops and some sunglasses then tip toed outside.

Autumn finally reached the beach. She jogged toward the ocean with her board out. She got into the water then when it was at her thighs she threw the board down and started to paddle with her arms. Because it was still early the waves were pretty good. She caught a good wave and steadied herself then stood up. She closed her eyes and smiled as little water droplets hit her face.

xxxxxxxxxxxxGrowling at her alarm clock, Kai rolled out of bed. Staring in the mirror that hung on the back of her door, she had bedhead and it didn't do her justice. Kai never thought of herself as beautiful, she thought she was more cute and bedhead put a downer to her cuteness. Opening her door, Kai wandered to her bathroom to shower. She got to the door to find it locked, banging on the door Kai let out a frustrated scream. "Hurry up!" She shouted at her younger brother, who was hogging the shower. Waiting gave Kai time to think about the beach house party she was having tonight. Her and group of people were going to be spending a couple days at her parents beach house. The only problem was Kai was home schooled and has a friend Spencer, but they weren't really close, anyway she put her in charge of inviting people. Kai didn't know many that were going to be there.

xxxxxxxxxxxxAfter her shower, Kai got dressed and headed towards the beach house. She saw a blond girl surfing, Kai smiled. She loved surfing, always had. Kai stopped in front of the house, it looked the same as it had yesterday night. She really didn't want to go through having to unlock the house and then just have to lock it back up again. She instead sat on the porch and watched the surfers.

»»»[A lump raised from under the layers of blanket, underneath emerged a slow creature, the bright lights seemed to throw off it's balance. Carter rolled off of the mattress and on to the floor. He was being pretty slow and the lights did somewhat confuse him for a few seconds, but he soon gained control and stood up. Although standing took longer than he expected he was soon heading towards the bathroom in a rapid demand for the toilet. After a few minutes of his body hauling over the massive amount of liquor he poured into his body last night.

»»»[Carter realized it probably wasn't the best idea to go to a huge party the night before he had to leave but hey, he wanted his last night to be fun. Most of his buddies weren't going down to the beach cause they had to do other stuff like work. But Carter, Carter had no plans. He was all set for driving down there and having a great time. After finishing up with the toilet, Carter jumped into the shower. Pulling on a set of new clothes and freshening up.

»»»[Alongside the road outside sat Carter's truck. He named her Beatrice when he first got her, it was a gift from his dad. Carter had a weird relationship with his dad, They loved each other and they both knew it to be true but they hadn't seen each other in years, The littlest things from one another were so precious and sentimental but never actually had any real value. After throwing a few duffel bags in the back Carter went back inside to hug and kiss his mother goodbye before heading off to the beach.

Alex woke up to the precious smell of food, is it bacon and eggs? No, something more, sweet like... French toast. Alex's eyes flew open and got out of bed as fast as he could without falling. "Wait, clothes." He opened his closet and took out a outfit for the day, apparently his suitcase was at the door so he didn't have to worry, apparently... He got his outfit but added a black hoodie to it, hopefully he looked like a proper teen and not some wannabe. Alex went downstairs and saw his sister and mom, he sighed and spoke, "How much left for me?" His sister turned to him and smiled, "For you... None!" Alex stuck his tongue out at her and reached for a banana on the table, "Wasn't hungry anyway..." His mom turned to him and spoke softly, "I can make more if you want." "Nah, go to go now, thanks though."

Alex brought his bag out to his Audi A4 (Older Model) and sighed as his mom spoke in her happy-go-lucky voices "Yes mom I have everything, and i don't need you to drive me there, just to bring my car back..." He put his bag in the trunk and walked to the drivers seat, he sat down and put the key in the slot. After about 10 minutes of driving, and being annoyed, Alex arrived at the beach house and it was gorgeous. He pulled up in the driveway to the beach house and stared at it in awe. "Damn..." Alex got out of the car and handed the keys to his mom, "Take care of her, she's fragile and doesn't like to be forced." After a few minutes of conversation he headed to the beach house to put away his stuff, but before he got inside he noticed someone sitting on the porch. "Hey, Is this your place?"

xxxxxxxxxxxxKai after have been sitting there for what seemed like hours, was still gazing at the surfers. She longed so much to be out there surfing, but since her last surfing incident her board had broke never to be fixed. She instead settled on clicking pictures of the waves and their majestic ways. Kai's photography skills were way better than her surfing skills. She was thankful her parents installed a dark room in the beach house.

xxxxxxxxxxxxStill sitting on the porch and taking pictures the designs she drew in the sand. Kai was startled when someone spoke. Looking up she smiled to see a handsome guy standing over her. "My parents, they are letting me borrow it. With a smile Kai stood up. "Are you here for the party?" She asked wondering if he was one of the people Spencer had invited.

Alex nodded in agreement, he flashed her a smile then spoke, "Yep, apparently it's supposed to be a great party, nothing like project X though, so i needed some more convincing." He winked at her and looked toward the water, "So beautiful... I wish i lived here, well if i lived here it'd probably look nothing like this..." After a while of being locked in the beauty of the sea Alex spoke once more, "Where should I put my suitcase and bag? Kinda heavy with the guitar and clothes and stuff." He smiled again, and readjusted the bag on his shoulders. "Oh brought some DJ equipment too, just in case."

Alex felt like he was starting to ramble senselessly on and on, which he did not do often, he was actually rather quiet most of the time, especially in the past. His sister fixed that though, introducing him to strangers, speaking at weddings and funerals, introducing him to people his sister didn't even know... Then one day he became a speaker, no one really thought it would actually work, not even his sister. Oh s**t! Now I'm rambling senselessly!

She had a feeling it was going to be a dud and she was going to leave with less friends than when she started. "Yeah I guess it is pretty." She said avoiding any talk about the party. Gesturing to the door, Kai walked inside hoping the guy would follow her. She stopped in front of one of the many rooms in the house. "You can put your stuff in here." Kai said with a kind smile.

xxxxxxxxxxxx"I'm Kai by the way." She said introducing herself. She always felt weird not knowing someones name, but then talking to them. She smiled big when he mentioned bring DJ equipment, Kai was just planning on using the big radio that was in the living room. "That's great!" She chimed. Kai had gotten lucky her parents were out of town and her little brother Zach was going to be at their grandparents the whole time. That meant less work for her.
