Sitting down at the table with Audrey seemed a bit unreal for a minute. But Adam wasn’t going to let that sensation last very long. No, this whole thing was real and it was really happening. When Audrey asked if she had something on her face, Adam knew that he had been caught staring at her. He simply shook his head and then made himself focus on another part of the room for a bit before turning his attention back to Audrey while she answered his question.

”Well I work at the sweing shop with my aunts. They keep me pretty busy, they’re pretty over protective.” Hearing that, Adam knew why he didn’t see Audrey that much. But her aunts couldn’t be that overprotective, could they? As far as he was concerned, it was a crime to keep someone like Audrey hidden away from the world. ”But I get to sneak out and eat or something every once in awhile.” That was at least some good news to hear. Now that she was already out anyway, maybe she wouldn’t mind staying out for awhile.

”I work for my parents on our farm. It’s just a little ways outside the actual ‘town’. That’s pretty much how I spend my mornings, and then my dad takes over once the afternoon area hits. It’s a good deal. I like it.” He shrugged slightly after that and then thought about how he was going to phrase what he wanted to say next. His food arrived so that gave him a little leeway. Then he decided to just go for it. ”So, now that you are out and about anyway, what do you have going on for the rest of the day?” He looked at her with curious eyes.

Audrey was on like could nine. She was sitting here with a very attractive guy, and she was having alot of fun. Audrey couldn't believe this was happening. She couldn't wait to tell Maddie and Meredith. But she wasn't going to run and tell them now. Not when she was talking to Adam. Audrey asked if there was something on her face, and he shook his head no. Then he turned away from her.

Audrey began to tell Adam about working at the sewing shop and her aunts. She also told him how she got to sneak out every once in a while, and eat, or do whatever. And then Audrey asked him about what he did. She wanted to know more about him. ”I work for my parents on our farm. It’s just a little ways outside the actual ‘town’. That’s pretty much how I spend my mornings, and then my dad takes over once the afternoon area hits. It’s a good deal. I like it.” He said, shrugging. It sounded really nice the way he described it. "What kind of animals do you have on the farm? I'd like to visit your farm sometime... I mean... if you um want me to." She said, stumbling a little over her words.

”So, now that you are out and about anyway, what do you have going on for the rest of the day?” He asked, looking at her curiously. Audrey blushed, was he asking her out on a date? She didn't know, she had never been on a date before. "I don't have much planned except a quiet night at home with the aunts... Unless you have something in mind for us to do?" She asked him.

Tristan tapped his pen on the table as he stared at his backpack that was fully packed up. He was debating between attempting to study again or just go to Etta's and get something to eat. He sighed and kicked back in the chair balancing it on it's back wooden legs. Normally if a librarian saw him they would scold him and tell him to sit properly but he was safe for now. He stared at the ceiling and began counting all the square tiles above him. He got to 9 when the voice came from beside him.

"Woah!" Tristan lost balance and the chair went backwards. He tried to grip at his backpack to keep him from falling but it just went on the ride with him and the heavy bag landed on his stomach knocking the wind out of him. He looked up to Liv and coughed pushing the bag off of his chest. "Liv!" He exclaimed seeing his secret crush. He coughed some more and scrambled up as a gray-haired librarian glared at him for causing a racket. He blushed lightly and scratched the back of his head nervously. "Studying? Um... Yeah I had my books out..." He replied with a cheesy smile. He knew she would catch that he tried but failed to study without her. "How were your classes today? Any kids giving you trouble?" He joked as he picked up his backpack and the chair.

Liv must have startled Tristan because he let out a woah, and began falling backwards in his chair. She watched a startled expression coming out of her, when he tried to grasp at his backpack which went tumbling down with him. And then their eyes met, and Liv smiled at him. She giggled at how he pushed his bag off of his chest, "Liv!" He exclaimed, and he immediately stood up. Just in time, the cranky old librarian came to glare at them. "Tristan, are you okay?" She asked him. Liv watched as he blushed and scratched his head and looked at her. "Studying? Um... Yeah I had my books out..." He replied, a goofy smile on his face. "How were your classes today? Any kids giving you trouble?" He asked her in a joking way.

Liv smiled. "I see you tried and failed to study today, Tristan." She said in a mock scolding tone of voice. He really was trying, and she had to give him credit for that. "Oh, classes were the same as usual. No, no kids gave me trouble... today at least." She said smiling. Olivia loved to tell Tristan about her students and her days. He always listened to her and had something nice to say about it. "We did a lab today dealing with chemical reactions and the kids seemed to enjoy themselves." She said. Liv's stomach grumbled notifying her that she was really hungry and hadn't had anything to eat since breakfast that morning having taught all day. "I was just thinking of going to Etta's diner. Would you care to join me? I haven't eaten since breakfast today." She said.

Tristan laughed sheepishly and waved off the injury as he picked up the chair and pushed it in. "Oh yeah I'm fine." His bright red face gave his embarrassment away. At her mock scold he just smiled away as the blush faded. He was used to the scolding but he caught on to her teasing tone. "That's good! I like when you have good day's, you smile more on good days."

He double-checked to see if he left anything behind and then began walking to the library exit. For one the librarian did not look happy and he wanted to escape. On the other hand Olivia suggested Etta's and he was famished. "Sounds like a fun lab. I remember in chemistry class when my sleeve lit on fire... They wouldn't let me do anything with fire again... Then there was the acid burning through the table too... I really didn't get to finish that chemistry class." He smiled big as they got outside of the library and into the parking lot. "I had fun though!"

Ana's kiss surprised him. She'd just been acting odd not even a full minute ago, and now she was kissing him passionately. Olive didn't stop to question, but the thought was in his mind. He kissed her back, dropping his bag and snaking his arms around her waist. When she pulled away, Oliver was grinning. his grin fell as Ana failed to force herself to smile. What was that about? Had he messed something up? Couldn't have, it was just a kiss. But what about before the kiss...had he said something wrong? Oliver tried to recall what was said but was distracted by Ana nestling her head into his chest. Holding back a sigh, he hugged her close to him. If she was upset then this was the best he had to offer her. He moved one hand up to the back of her head, tangling his fingers into her long brown hair.

"Take advantage of that," he echoed after her. Snuggling and watching movies hardly seemed like taking advantage of Ana's empty house, but he knew what she meant. It was their opportunity to openly be a couple without sneaking about, and those didn't come by often. Ana finally moved about, and he released his grip on her. She kiss the side of his face and started to leave. Oliver picked his bag up and slung it over his shoulder before reaching his hand out for her to grab. They headed down the hall, down the stairs, and into the garage. It seemed they had perfect timing, as Theo was washing up from working on a car. Oliver took the lead and brought Ana to the passenger side. Hesitantly he gave her a quick kiss.

"Oliver. Can I talk to you over her for a second?" came Theo's deep voice. "Yeah," he called back over his shoulder. "I'll only be a sec. Here, you can start the car." Oliver handed her the keys to his car before he walked over to his uncle. "What do you want? We want to get out of here." Theo grunted. "That's what I wanted to talk to you about. You be careful. I don't know what you two are planning, but just because her old man's out of town, doesn't mean you have free reign. Yeah, I know he's out of town and I'm guessing you're spending the weekend over there. Just be careful. I don't want another phone call from that man trying to bribe me into keeping you 'under control'." Oliver snorted. "I didn't know he tried bribing you. But, I know. We're just going to watch movies or something, it'll be alright." He turned and started to walk away, only pausing once with his back still turned to his uncle when Theo started speaking again. "And Oliver...you stay clean this weekend." Oliver winced but nodded. He then proceeded to his car and got in.

Oliver shifted into gear and backed out of the garage. He was tempted to have an "accidental" lead foot again, but he had a feeling it wouldn't fly with Ana, even if he claimed an accident. Ana was being odd, there was no question about that. Oliver had tried to just play it off as him not used to being sober, but he couldn't keep that up. She was switching moods quickly, going from awkward and quiet to lovey and kissy and back to being...well, down right weird. Oliver was hoping it was something simple that had his girlfriend this way, like her monthly problem. It was about that time, wasn't it? Oliver didn't know, he could only guess. It felt like it had been a long enough time span for it to be around again. He would never know. The thought of asking about such a topic was too repulsive for him, plus it was just weird, even if he was dating her and all. "Do you need anything while we're out?" he asked as he drove away from his uncle's.

As she knew would happen, Oliver took her hand. Together, they went downstairs and she smiled into the kiss he offered before getting in the car. It seemed that they weren’t going to be able to get away so quickly, as his uncle called for him. Ana frowned as she took the keys, but she still started the car and got the air and radio going as she waited for him. He returned quickly enough and she smiled as he got into the car. For a moment she thought about asking what that was about, but she decided against it. If it was important, he would tell her.

”Nah, I’m good.” She shrugged and then the two of them were finally one their way to her place. It took a good twenty minute drive before they got there, as she lived a bit aways from town. Ana lived in one of the nicer neighborhoods in town, which meant high walls around the place, and no neighbors possibly calling her father and telling him what’s up. ”Home sweet home,” Ana said as she pulled out. She grabbed her backpack and waited for Oliver to get his bag before heading inside.

The place was large, but empty, as it always was. Even when her dad was home, it was empty more often than not. ”You can put your stuff in my room,” she said. Ana paused and then gave him a kiss. She took Oliver by the hand and all but tugged him upstairs, to her room. It bore obvious signs of its occupant, from the art nouveau prints framed, to the double bookcases, both filled, and both taller than her head. Her bed was large, and the entire thing was decked out in earthy tones. It almost made up for how unlike her the rest of the house was. Outside her room, everything else was decoration, but this… this was hers.

”So, what do you want to do first?” she asked. Ana sat on the edge of the bed and let her feet dangle off the edge. She kicked back and forth and gave Oliver a small smile. How could she do this? How could she sit here and chat and act so normal when she might be… Ana didn’t realize her smile had fallen. Instead, she was looking at him almost fearfully. ”Well?” she asked, though it was rather soon after her first question, and her voice was a little high. It broke in the middle of the word and she shook her head. She didn’t know for sure. It was stupid to get ahead of herself, and the last thing she needed was to freak him out.

It was a twenty minute drive to Ana's neighborhood. Oliver always felt...weird drving into the neighborhood. It was all upper class, and much different from any of the homes he'd ever lived in. Ana's house was no different from the other homes. Big, fancy, privacy fence. But it also felt empty and devoid of life to him. It felt like a museum or something, like you shouldn't touch anything. It didn't feel like a home. Oliver pulled into her drive way and got out of his car, grabbing his bag. He couldn't help but smile as Ana exclaimed 'home sweet home'. He crossed over to her and slung an arm loosely around her shoulders as they walked into her house together.

As they entered, Oliver had to swallow the small amount of fear he had. What if her father hadn't left yet, or decided to stay home for the weekend and they didn't know? It wasn't that he was afraid of Ana's dad. More like he was worried what the man would do to Ana. Oliver knew the man wouldn't hit Ana. And if he did, Oliver would show up on the doorstep to hit the man back. Oliver grew up with 'never hit a girl, under any circumstances' ingrained in him, and he would always live by that. However, the more likely response would be threatening Oliver with the cops, and then locking away Ana for a while with no phone or anything. It had happened before, and Oliver didn't like it much, even though he'd been able to have a three week drug and alcohol binge. He liked to say it was to keep his mind from Ana, and to stop himself from sneaking into her room at night just to see her. And while that may have been part of it, he knew that it wasn't the main reason. He'd done it because he could.

Luckily, the house was empty. Though wasn't it always that way? Ana had mentioned how the house felt this way, even with her father home, plenty of times before. He smiled to himself as he recalled the nights they had stayed up late together to have secret phone calls. That had been when they first started sneaking about. Now they tried not to call each other, and relied on texts to communicate. Texts were easy to remember to delete. A call log, not so much.

Oliver allowed Ana to lead him up to her room. Not that he had much choice. If he hadn't started walking with her, she would have dragged him upstairs. The thought of it was painful, and he was glad that wasn't the case. As they entered her room, Oliver tossed his bag to the side and looked around. This room in itself had a homey enough feeling to it that Oliver could be comfortable. Ana's bedroom screamed her name. Decorated in earthy tones and 'artsy' (as he called them) pictures, book cases filled to the brim. It was Ana in every way.

”So, what do you want to do first?”

He chuckled as Ana sat herself on her bed and began kicking her feet back and forth. Seemed she was back in her cute self. Hopefully it would last more than just a few minutes. Oliver started over to her, smirking with a mischievous glint in his eye. He had a few ideas of his own that they could do before getting to their movie plans. As he sauntered over to her, though, Oliver watched as her expression changed from her small smile to an expression of fear. Obviously her mood switch again. Oliver's smirk faded away and he stopped walking over to her, stuffing his hands into his pockets.

                      ”Well?” she demanded.

Oliver gave her a look of confusion. Hadn't she just asked him? "Ana..." he said, exasperated. He sighed again and brought his hands out of his pockets, using one to run through his short brown hair. Oliver closed the gap between them and sat down next to her, placing a hand on her knee. "Look, I'm not good at reading you, you know that. What's going on with you? One second you're normal and cute and...the next you're acting weird. Did I do something?"

[Gaston was sleeping in his big and giant bed. It can fit 9 people in it. Surrounding him, was a mixture of girls and boy were sleeping with him in the bed. Gaston stirred, along with a very cute guy who stirred with him. Gaston sat up, looking at his clock. 7:00 in the morning. He sighed heavily. He looked down, seeing his "guests" still sleeping. Bunch of socialites and models. Thankfully, the house belonged to him and was all his. And the only one living there. Gaston pushed a model off the bed, making a heavy thud as she stepped down. Gaston had stuff to do today and no groupies were going to stop him. He had to get his dream girl after all.

Gaston went into his impressive and grand bathroom. Gaston was a son and only child of one of the richest family's in town. Of course he deserved the best. Gaston noticed his tub was ready. Thanks to his maids. He slipped in, letting out a heavy sigh. After a while, he stepped out, drying himself off. He went to the bathroom mirror, tending to his body and face. Soon, he stepped out out of the bathroom.

Gaston had a towel wrapped around his waist, digging for clothes in his big dresser's. His room was brown, red and black. He had a big fireplace against a brick wall, facing the bed. Soon, Gaston got dressed in brown boots that reached to his calves, black skinny jeans that didn't make him look super gay and a red, tight fitting polo shirt. He fixed his hair and didn't even bother with cologne. He had a natural man smell that just oozed sexy. He looked at the people sleeping around him and scoffed. Then his voice boomed throughout the room, making everyone jump. "When I come back, I expect you guys to be gone!" He laughed loudly, grabbing his leather jacket.

Gaston went to his giant jeep. It was a truck jeep, all black. He got into it and started up he car. He buckled in himself and drove off to town, out of the iron gates. Gaston was going to stalk his bookworm. Gaston figured she would be a library and parked his car, slipping out. He sneaked in, spotting her from afar. He walked to a aisle of books behind her and pushed out the books next to her, sticking his head out of the holes. "Hello there, beautiful." His baritone voice echoed throughout the library. A liberian shushed him and he rolled his eyes.

Ana watched as Oliver approached her, and she saw his smile fade. Well, not a smile. A smirk maybe? Yeah, that was closer to it. But before she could respond, he was sitting next to her and placing a hand on her knee. The last thing she wanted to do was ruin their weekend. After all, they never got any time just for the two of them and who knew when this would come again? But… but surely he had a right to know. But she wasn’t sure. If she asked, he would take her to the store to get a pregnancy test, but then what? He could leave – probably would, probably should. Would she keep it? Ana knew she wasn’t ready for a child, but she couldn’t imagine getting rid of one either.

In the back of her mind she heard Oliver asking about her and what was going on, but she couldn’t find the words. He was worried about her, sure, and he had said they were strong. But this strong? She didn’t know. Ana reached out and threaded her fingers in his before shaking her head. He needed to know, so they could find out. But what if… what if everything? He wasn’t ready to be a father. Hell, she was more prepared for this. She’d be done with high school soon, she was clean of drugs and everything else, healthy. He on the other hand, was not.

Something splashed on the back of her hand and Ana stared at it in confusion for a bit before she realized she had cried. Was crying. Her breath hitched in the back of her throat and she shook her head again, as though that could make this all go away. ”Oliver,” she muttered. Ana turned so she was facing him, and buried her head against his shoulder. She never had anyone like this before him. No one she could cry against. But he was here now, and that could only be a good thing, right?

Ana’s shoulders heaved as she tried to get herself under control, but it wasn’t until she wrapped her arms around him that she was able to feel remotely human. A few more breaths and she was able to breathe again. ”Oliver, I’m late. I’m not for sure, but I’m not usually and … and the timing works and I haven’t tested, but I’m scared and … and… and.” And what, she didn’t know. Ana wasn’t sure where she’d been going with that, and it didn’t really matter because she was fighting to breathe again.

Oliver watched Ana intently. She was silent, and though her eyes were fearful she looked to be deep in thought. He stayed next to her, silent. If she wouldn't answer her him he wouldn't push it. Oliver wasn't like that. The only reason he had even asked a second time if something was wrong was because her mood swings were throwing him around like a Tilt-a-Whirl. He rubbed his hand up and down her thigh, trying to comfort his girlfriend. He kept his eyes down, not noticing the tears that had started flowing from her tear ducts until she buried her face in his shoulder.

As her tears soaked through his shirt, Oliver turned to look at her. She looked awful. Furthermore, Oliver wasn't sure how to react. He just kept moving his hand against her leg. "Ana, shhh," he tried soothing her. Her arms snaked around him and he pulled her in for a better hug, one where his arms could be around her as well. As soon as this occurred, she seemed to start calming down a bit. Her breathing slowed from gasps to something near normal.

”Oliver, I’m late. I’m not for sure, but I’m not usually and … and the timing works and I haven’t tested, but I’m scared and … and… and.”

Ana's words hit him like a tidal wave. He felt as if he were drowning, and nothing was going to help him resurface. "Late...?" he echoed after her. After the first sentence uttered from the crying girl in his arms, Oliver only heard garbled noises. Late? As in...late late? How could she be late? Thinking back on it, Oliver knew it was completely possible. With the few chances the two got to be intimate together, precautions were hardly thought of. Then again, Oliver had assumed that she was on the pill or something. Didn't all girls get put on that in high school?

Oliver himself was having trouble breathing. He forced himself to inhale and exhale, trying to keep a grip on things. This was worse than a bad acid trip, and he had had a few of those in the past. Late, late, late. The words kept echoing in his mind. They were haunting him and he couldn't get away from them. Nothing could get him away from them. That's when he remembered the pills he'd thrown into his bag. Oliver thought it ironic that he'd taken them in the off chance he couldn't handle being sober for the weekend. Here he was, in a situation he'd never be able to keep handle on if he remained sober. And he had just the things to do it with.

"We'll go into town. Get a test. Just...give me a second," he found himself saying. Oliver felt like he was having an out of body experience. Like someone else was controlling his movements and all he could do was look on, unable to stop them. Oliver got to his feet, leaving Ana alone on her bed. He walked over grabbed his bag and headed to her bathroom. Once locked inside, he emptied the contents of his bag, searching for the bottle of pills. He couldn't even remember what they were, or even if they were all the same. His dealer just offered him them a while ago, saying they would get him as high as anything else. Plus they were cheap, so why would Oliver say no? Finding the small pills, Oliver scrambled to his feet and leaned over the sink. Did he really want to take them? Yes, though if he was calmer a few cigarette's could help him just the same. But his head wasn't clear, and he wasn't calm. Should he take them? Probably not. Ana would get pissed if she found out. But maybe he could persuade her to understand, just this one time.

Oliver opened up the bottle and dumped four of them out. He inspected them, and they seemed okay. If these killed him, well. Then he was dead. But then Ana would be left alone with his child. It was his child. It couldn't be anyone else's, could it? Oliver couldn't be with Ana always, what if she had found someone she didn't have to sneak around to be with, someone who wasn't a drug addict? What if that was what that last 'and' she hadn't been able to finish saying was? 'And it isn't yours.' He could almost hear the girl he loved saying the words.

The twenty year old shook his head, trying to shake those thoughts. None of that true, Ana wasn't a cheater. "She isn't a liar either, but hasn't she been lying to you all day?" came the voice in his head. That was true, but then, she had good reason, didn't she? Oliver couldn't leave her just sitting out there in her bed. She might think he ran off, scared. Of course he was scared. He could be about to become a father. He was twenty, irresponsible, and addicted to more things than he could count. Most of his money went to feed his habits. How could he be expected to change up his act for a kid?

Gazing up at his reflection in the mirror, Oliver sighed before tossing his head back and swallowing the pills. They'd kick in sooner or later. Hopefully they wouldn't make him act too odd. Ideally, they would just help him stabilize and feel normal. He turn the cold water and splashed some water on his face, hoping that would help as well. With face and hand still dripping with water, Oliver took a deep breath and returned to Ana. He didn't return to her bed, but instead he stood in the door way. "So...what. Do we go, or do you want to wait a few days? See if things...change."

There's a still in the street outside your window

It was a mistake to tell him before she knew for sure. Ana knew that now, and she guessed she knew it before, but the guilt of not telling him ate at her. Oliver was freaked out. She didn’t need to see his face to know that was what he was feeling, it was in the way he tensed against her, it was in the way he didn’t say anything at all. He was going to tell her she was an idiot for getting into this mess, he was going to leave her, he was going to say he’d never been serious and … and she still didn’t know what else, but she was sure of all of that and more.

Sure enough, he excused himself and Ana was left to tuck her legs against her body so she could bury her face in her knees. She cried a little more, having lost the comfort he’d provided, and then she was left fighting to breathe again. Was this a panic attack? Ana didn’t know, and that thought only served to make her feel more hysterical. This was a nightmare, it had to be. And yet… yet, she wasn’t sure if it was a good thought, but she almost liked the idea of a … child. She had never thought of herself in that sort of light, but the idea wasn’t wholly negative.

Oliver was entering the room again by the time she got herself under control. Ana was sure that her face was still red, and she was wiping at her eyes, but he was there. That was all she wanted. She wasn’t sure what was going to happen next, but she knew she didn’t want to do this by herself. Oliver had his faults, sure, but if he could just be… there when she needed him, then Ana knew she could trust him. He wouldn’t leave her, he wouldn’t, he wouldn’t. Perhaps if she ran that through her mind often enough, it would become the truth.

Wait? She blinked at him and then wiped at her eyes again. ”I dunno,” she muttered. She wanted to find out one way or another, but she was just as scared of taking the test as he seemed to be. Because what if she took it and there was a plus sign? ”Oliver, come here? Please, I need you right now.” She wouldn’t cry again. Couldn’t freak out on him further. ”Please? I – I can’t do this on my own.” Oh, how would her father react? Her breath hitched again. ”Maybe… maybe it’s nothing. I might just be stupid.” But she wasn’t stupid, and she didn’t have her dates wrong, and Ana was never late. ”Oliver…”

Watching you dress as you turn down the lights
I forget all about the storm outside
Dark clouds roll their way over town
Heartache and pain came a-pouring down

Madeline wasn't reading long before a small, feminine voice sounded next to her. She looked up and to the left to see Alice and Cooper standing there. She'd seen them about, and of course, everyone knew who Cooper was. How could they not when he was the mayor's son? Madeline closed the book she'd taken off the shelf and held it on her lap. "Sure. Is something wrong? Do you guys need help with something?" Maddie loved children, and couldn't wait for the day she could be a mother as well. It was odd how she wanted that, and yet dating seemed so awful. Of course, Gaston could be the reason for that.

The children didn't get a chance to reason. Madeline jumped as the books on the shelf next to her fell from it and hit the floor. Startled, she got to her feet and looked for the source. Well, speak of the devil. It was Gaston in the flesh. "What did I do to deserve this?" she thought. Sighing, she knelt to the ground and began to pick the books up. "Can I help you with something Gaston?"

[Gaston instantly felt victorious. She didn't walk away from him. He walked around the bookcase so smooth, in one quick move, he was next to her, close to her face. "Yes you can. You can help me by dating the most handsome bachelor in town. I don't see why not. I mean look at me." He flashed her a wink, flexing his muscles some. He looked at the kid and scowled at him. He would give a wink to Alice though, but Maddie was around. Besides, Alice's beauty could not compare to Maddie. "Picture this, Maddie. You and me in my bed, waking up after a night of passionate love making, a fireplace roaring in the background as you lay next to me, curling your fingers in my chest hair." He sighed contently.

Gaston also imagined her getting up and making him breakfast but that would come later. Right now, he had to date the girl. Well, at least get her to agree dating him. "Plus, I know how bad you want children. We can have kids. 6 or 7 dashing young boy's like me." He grinned even more. If it ended up being a girl in the mix, he would put her for adoption. Or not pay as much attention to her as he will with his boys. Gaston sighed once again, grinning. It sounded perfect. "Plus I am from one of the richest families in town. Handsome and rich. Can't go wrong with that now."

Madeline scoffed and rolled her eyes, obviously disinterested in Gaston as he struck a pose to show off his muscles. Would he really never get the hint? What did a girl have to do to get him off her tail?

"Picture this, Maddie. You and me in my bed, waking up after a night of passionate love making, a fireplace roaring in the background as you lay next to me, curling your fingers in my chest hair."

Maddie nearly dropped the stack of books she had gathered at his words. How could he say such things in front of Cooper and Alice? They were so young, so innocent! "Gaston!" she hissed out in a low whisper. "They're thirteen! How could you just...just spout that out in front of them!" She finished stacking the books up and set them on the shelf they once sat upon while he went on talking. Mentioning children, and the life he had planned out for them together. It sickened Maddie.

"Plus I am from one of the richest families in town. Handsome and rich. Can't go wrong with that now."

She knew he was right. If she wanted to have a good, easy life ahead of her, all she had to do was give into his...charm. She'd never have to work again, her grandfather would be taken care of. But Gaston was so...Gaston.

Madeline laughed to herself quietly. She stepped closer to him, and leaned up to speak into his ear, trying to give him the allusion that she was giving in to him. "Gaston, if you really knew a thing about me...you'd know that I don't give a damn about your money." In one swift movement, Madeline swiped a book from a nearby shelf and walked away from him. "Oh and Gaston?" Maddie stopped to call over her shoulder. "Chest hair is unattractive."

Maddie checked her book out and headed out of the library, walking down the street while laughing to herself. Maybe this time he would get the hint, though she doubted it. In fact, she wouldn't put it past him to be following her out of the library and down the street.
