Children ages fourteen or fifteen across the country will receive this letter. Olympia was founded hundreds of years ago to help guide and teach the children of the gods and goddesses who have long since abandoned them as per Zeus' law. Many of these children are confused at first, and amazed, amazed by the sights of the magical world long since hidden. Centaurs, unicorns, sirens, and satyrs, hundreds of different species hidden behind charms and spells. Not all students choose to come to Olympia Academy, but those who do hardly ever regret it.

Olympia Academy specializes in honing student's skills, offering special classes that have been shaped for different groups of individuals. Children of Ares can take classes specializing in war tactics, children of Artemis can take classes specializing in archery or hunting. Of course, there are a few protectors throughout the school, creatures that are part human in some sense and pair up with a demigod to help protect them from the dangers and evil in the world. Their classes tend to revolve around defense and strategy.

Students are sorted into houses on their first day at school, there are ten houses, one for each of the most prominent gods and goddesses to have children with humans [ Aphrodite, Apollo, Ares, Artemis, Athena, Hermes, Hades, Poseidon + Zeus], and one for the misc demigods, the children of gods and goddesses who rarely have children. Protectors do attend a sister school right next door, and they join in most activities from time to time. For the sake of sports, often times two houses are combined into one, creating seven houses total rather than fourteen, though if it is a sport with a small team, they are left separate.

Within each house, there are two prefects, a boy and a girl, and two heads of the house, a boy and a girl, who are two chosen at the end of their third year to preform their duties in their fourth year. The school is run by the punished god Dionysus, who is often very lackadaisical in his governing over the student body, vary uncaring of what goes on, though he has a few advisers that constantly try to keep everyone in line.

Our story will focus on these children, how they react to being the spawn of the gods, how it effects their lives, and what kind of choices they make.

◢⋮ The tos and such is a basic guideline to be followed.
◢⋮ No one wants to read about the nasty stuff, that being going into too much detail on injuries or characters getting frisky. That being said, these things are encouraged, but only give us enough to go on, then use a nice little timeskip. We'll all know what went down, don't worry.
◢⋮ My main goal is to keep this roleplay alive, so if you apply, be sure you are planning on actually sticking with it. It's a simple request, don't be a flake. Post in the IC once a week per character.
◢⋮ Save the bullying for your characters, the ooc will be a bully free zone and if I see it happening, you will be kicked, no questions asked. there is a difference between two characters not getting along, and you hating on all of one person's characters.

◢⋮ This rp is lazy lit, meaning I don't expect a novel to be written every time you post. Keep in mind though, that people do have to work with what you write. Don't write a 500 word post on opening a can. Give us something to work with.
The minimum is three decent paragraphs and there is no maximum, but try to keep it reasonable. One line does not constitute as a paragraph either.
◢⋮ You are required to post in the IC with all of your characters in a week, but it is highly encouraged more. If you fail to do so you will be warned once before being removed from the rp.
◢⋮ Make pretty posts. I like those. Pictures, colors, symbols, the works. Make it appealing, and I will be happy. Don't use overly bright colors, it does hurt other people's eyes.


▪ ▪ ▪ ♕ ⇡ } CHARACTERS. × ×


◢⋮ Now we are getting to the good stuff, characters. This is the best part right? Creating a three dimensional character.
◢⋮ Real pictures are a must. Please keep that in mind that these kids are ages 16-17 so pick people who look that age. I don't care if you pick mainstream people or under the radar models, that's up to you
◢⋮ As much as you'd like to believe, your characters are not perfect, so please, give them flaws and weird quirks. Things that set them apart from the other characters and bring them to life. This plays into the whole three dimensional thing I like to see.
◢⋮ Multiples are encouraged! You can have up to 4 characters! However, that does not mean 4 females. Do not make new characters just to make them, and do not make a new character and never look back on your old one. Only make new characters if you feel you can handle it.
◢⋮ Female roles fill up fast, leaving a lot of opening for male spots. To resolve this, you have to pick up a male character before taking on another female. Keep this ratio if you want more females. This does not apply to males, as those are harder to fill, and you can play as many of those as you'd like.


▪ ▪ ▪ ♕ ⇡ } APPLYING. × ×


◢⋮ This process may seem lengthy at first glance, but I promise to you that it is simple. It is time sensitive, however, so bare that in mind. You will have 2-3 days to complete each section of the application process.
◢⋮ You won't find codes in this thread, you will find them in the application thread where you will post them and either get accepted or denied. I can tell you that there will be three steps. Apply. Reserve. Profile.
◢⋮ You will find instructions on how to fill out each code, and what we would like to see in them above or below each code in the thread. Read them, it will be beneficial to us all.
◢⋮ For a brief blurb on each code, the application will simply be you telling us what you've got, like how often you'll be on, your lit level via samples, all that fun junk. After finishing this, you will have two days to send in the reservation, which is generous, because the reservation is very simple. The reservation will include things about your character, their name, age, class, etc... After that, you will have three days to send in the profile, which is simple mostly, I mean, there will be no real bio, and you only need to list traits and give a slight blurb on them. This is a gracious time period for something simple, I am not giving it to you to procrastinate, it is so you can provide a decent profile with a well thought out three dimensional character.

◢⋮ All students will live on campus in the housing and dorms provided.
◢⋮ Uniforms will be worn to class and special events.
◢⋮ Students must have written permission to leave campus (there is a small town nearby) and must be back by lights out on week days, and by midnight on weekends. Lights out is at 10 pm every weeknight.
◢⋮ There will be no boys in the girls' dorms, and no girls in the boys' dorms. Each dorm holds four students, they are apartment style with two bedrooms, two students in each, and a shared bathroom and living area.
