Connor swore under his breath when Katherine caught him. Great. Juuust great. Now all he needs is Emiline to see him and then he'll seem like a total player to her and she'll never talk to him again. Katherine didn't seem to change at all, especially with the way she was touching him and all.

Connor shivered when she ran a hand through his hair. "I've been around. Just playing music and stuff. I obviously quit football." he explained to her as she kept eyeing him. Her little posse was just standing there, doing the same as she was. Other than the touching of course.

"So yeah. Because of that, I'm not as popular as I used to be.." he stated, but she obviously knew that. Unfortunately that won't stop her from talking to him. His dashing good looks are what gives him attention from girls around the school. He couldn't believe that she had "missed" him. She probably missed his arm around her waist when they'd go to parties and walked down the hallway together or when he used to flirt with her all the time. "W-what have you been up to?"

Katherine heard his silent swear and smirked, then laughed lightly, "Yeah obviously." she mumbled and frowned, she wished he hadn't quit football, but that didn't change him one bit. She smiled at his small shiver and flipped her hair over her shoulder. Without glancing at the two girls, she waved them away.

As she watched the two girls walk away. She refocused on Connor, "You shouldn't of left the group Connor." she stated, "Things haven't been the same without you." She said and stepped closer.
W-what have you been up to?
She smiled at his noticeable stutter.
Ignoring his question, she rose an eyebrow, "Am I making you uncomfortable?" she questioned leaning closer to him.

She then leaned back and began to circle him, she could tell he was thinking about what they used to do together, it was quite adorable. She then stopped in front of him once more, he still looked as good as he did when they hung out. She then pushed him against a locker and smiled, "You've missed me too, correct?" she murmured along his neck, "I make you nervous, and right now..." she trailed off and looked up at him with a sly smile on her face, "You want to kiss me." she whispered.

She slid an arm around his neck, "So kiss me, or push me away, we both know you're only capable of doing one." she breathed.

Connor hesitated, but he thought of Emiline. He didn't want Kat...he wanted her. "No...I don't want to kiss you. Just because you make me nervous doesn't mean I want you Katherine." he answered her. "I want someone else. You can't change that." he took her hands off of him and stared at her intensely.

If Katherine missed Connor that much, then she'd find ways to make him want her. Or she'd persist to find out who the one Connor desired was. Kat is used to getting what she wanted, being the queen of the school and all. If she knew that Connor's desired one was Emiline, that would make her want him more. He'd notice the competition between the two the last couple of years. Even though he didn't know Em that well, he still saw them go at it.

He hoped that he would just get out of this mess right at this moment.

Katherine looked up at Connor with a slight scowl. Someone else? Who was 'someone else' ?
She felt her hand leave him, was she just rejected? She didn't want to pitch a fit because she was just pushed away. Instead she rose an eyebrow, he had no idea of the future she had planned had he?
She leaned against the locker and pouted, "That sounds like the beginning of a love story Connor, not the end of one." she muttered.

As horrible as it sounded, she refused to let Connor go without a fight, and if that meant she had to rip someone apart to get him, she would. Though her and Connor had never officially been together, they pretty much had been, and as weird as it sounded, he was probably the only person she really gave a crap about, thus, refusing to let anyone else have him.

She smiled, "It does kinda bother me that you're falling for someone else." she mumbled and ran a hand threw her thick brown curls, a smirk formed on her lips as she leaned closer to him, letting her finger trail down his chest to his waist, "I need you to send this girl a message for me." she murmured along his collarbone, then lightly kissed his neck, then whispered in his ear, "Game on."

Connor laughed at her love story comment. She was talking some kind of crap, because Connor's love story wasn't going to be with her. He wanted Emiline. He at least he think he did. The blonde shook away his doubts. He wasn't going to let Katherine seduce him like she did to a lot of popular guys. Or at least that's what the rumors had said.

Connor shivered again when she kissed at his neck. It made his stomach flutter too. He was always so damn sensitive. Unfortunately this feeds Kat's playful manner. He had wished that he never left Emiline at the tree, also that he wouldn't have been embarrassed about the kiss. Connor should have just kissed her again. He would have kissed her a thousand times more if he were confident.

"Kat, she's gonna be tough to beat. You're gonna need to step up your game because she's practically an angel..." he said. He then thought of Emiline and wouldn't be surprised if she really was an angel.

Katherine smiled as he shivered, she still had it.
She frowned hearing him speak once more.
Kat, she's gonna be tough to beat. You're gonna need to step up your game because she's practically an angel...
She arched her eyebrow once more and swallowed and stepped back.
"We'll see. But somewhere, deep down, I know you still have feeling for me." she said low and rested a hand on her hip.

She gave a small smirk, "No rules Connor." she walked to the other side of him and gave a smaller genuine smile, "Don't you remember?" she questioned, "No rules."
She held out her hand towards him and shrugged, "Walk with me."

This boy, was going to make her work for him. But she really wanted to know who this girl was, angel? Hm..
The dark haired beauty turned to him, "Coming?"

Zeliyah got close enough to her car that she started reaching for her iPod, (she listened to her own music, the radio was full of crap nowadays) and to her horror, she couldn't find it. She squatted and put her bag on the ground and rummaged through. "s**t." Her small voice cracked, seeing as it was the first time she had actually spoken all day. She sighed, and took her hat off so she could run her fingers through her hair. It was a simple was to relieve minor stress for Zeliyah.

She would usually drink her sorrows away or pop a few pills, but although money wasn't an issue, Zeliyah found it useless to feed an excess of money to drug dealers for her own issues. I must've left it on the bench. Damnit. She straightened up, her eyes narrowing as she placed her hat on her head once more. She began workng her way back into the school.

On her way back, she stopped to glance at the now insanely stoned female that was laying by the tree. She interests me. That's odd. Zeliyah cocked her head, trying to really pinpoint the very variable that made this girl attractive, but she quickly remembered why she was walking up to the school in the first place. She broke her gaze and scurried daintily into the school, trying to get back to the exact spot that the bench was at when she ran straight head into The Queen Bee herself, Kathrine. Being so short, and not very sturdy on her feet, Zeliyah stumbled backwards. She regained her composure, she didn't say a word. She just stared up at Kathrine with an expression that screamed "What the ********]

Katherine was about to turn around, giving Connor a stern look and felt someone bump into her. About to scowl she looked down at the petite girl an smiled instead, "Oh, it's you." she said.
Usually she'd roll her eyes and wave the girl away, but she averted her eyes from Connor and placed them on Zeliyah.

"Zeliyah, right?" she questioned curiously.
The girl had striking features, just like her, she had dark hair, and light brown eyes, and a smooth olive skin tone, the framed it all. She was small, and simple looking, but the simple girl was quite beautiful. Someone she wouldn't be ashamed to call a friend or something.
She gave a grin, noticing Zeliyah's surprised expression.
"I'm Katherine."

Zeliyah was fully expecting a full b***h out from Katherine, but when she got a semi-warm welcome from her, a look of surprise creeped up her face, followed by a wave of suspicion that knocked the expression clean off her face. Her eyes floated to the boy that she has thought was remotely attractive and she wondered why he was with Kathrine.

Zeliyah, right? I'm Katherine.

Zeliyah cocked her head quietly, glaring into Katherines eyes. She knows me? She wondered what to say, if she should be delicate or equally as bitchy. She noticed she hadn't greeted her in rudely. Zeliyah raised an eyebrow, and spoke in her raspy soft voice. "I know who you are. I think everyone does.So how do you know me?" She nodded to the boy, not wanting to be incredibly rude. He, afterall, could be a good ******** later.

Connor sighed and just allowed Kat to drag him wherever she pleased. Just to get her to stop bugging him. He was kind of worried about where she was going to lead him to, but he figured she can't be that bad. It's not like she was going to lock him in a janitor's closet with her and try to have a bit of 7 minutes in heaven with him.

Just as he started to follow her, a girl ran into her. Connor kind of thanked God for this because of how Katherine's attention shifted to the other girl. He would've taken off by now, but he was kind of feeling a bit sympathetic. He decided to stand next to Katherine.

Connor's eyes trailed to the girl, who was incredibly beautiful. She was a little one too, which he thought was kind of cute. He gave her a smile when she nodded to him. He would tell her his name, but she was conversing with Kat at the moment.

Katherine studied the girl, she looked so shocked, then she almost suspicious. Katherine almost laughed, maybe the girl thought she was up to something, well if she was up to something, the both of them would know.
As their eyes met, Katherine held the girls light brown one with her piercing dark ones.
I know who you are. I think everyone does.
Of course everyone knew who she was, and anyone who didn't should be aware that she already knew them.
So how do you know me?
Inclining her head, the brunette rested a hand on her hip comfortably, and smiled, though she'd ask that.
With a innocent shrug, she arched an eyebrow, "I know everyone in this school." she stated with a light laugh.
It was also true, she kept tabs on everyone. She then noticed the girl eyeing Connor, but shrugged it off, she'd be surprised if Connor actually had enough will power to pull himself away from this 'angel'. And if someone could do that, by all means try.

She was very confident she'd have him anyways.

The way that Katherine was talking to her made her uncomfortable. She hugged her purse a little tighter, and let a few strands of hair fall into her face. Katherine laughed with a certain air as she stated that she knew everyone in the school. It didn't surprise Zeliyah one bit, but more aggravated her. All the hard work of trying to be invisible hadn't paid off, since obviously this girl knew her name.

"I'm sure you would know everyone," she said, annoyance laced in her voice. "You're nosey enough, aren't you?" Zeliyah knew this would probably offend Katherine, but then again, Zeliyah had never really given two chicken shits about what anyone thought. And just because a powerful, beautiful girl stood in front of her in such an odd manner, her nonchalance about the world wasn't going to change. "And since we are all getting quite acquainted," she said, a sarcastic tone now creeping into her voice. "Who are you?" She was never good at talking to people, or small talk, but she managed to look up at him with a certain sexy smolder in her eyes. Although she was good with looks, Zeliyah just said what she meant, no buttering it up or beating around the bush.

This situation was becoming more and more uncomfortable for Zeliyah, even if the others didn't feel it. She wasn't used to talking, especially with people who were popular, or even used to be. Insane thoughts became running through her head, like imagining them both in bed. Sex rules the mind and kills the thoughts, I suppose. She fidgeted slightly, trying to maintain a certain "cool" in front of people, when in all actuality, this feeling could only be satiated with her pills that lay still at the bottom of her purse.

Connor yawned, growing bored of just standing there. He thought about walking back to Emiline to see if she was still by the tree where he left her. If he did that, Kat would follow him and raise some hell.

He turned to the girl who had spoken and realized that she was talking to him. Asking who he was. "Oh. Sorry. How rude of me not to introduce myself. I'm Connor Herondale. You've probably never heard of me on account that I'm not popular like Katherine." he smiled at the girl. "I overheard your name was Zeliyah. That's unique." he said.

Connor looked over to Kat, wondering if she was going to drag him off like planned or just sit here and chat with this other girl. If it was the sit and chat thing, he'd probably walk off to find Emiline.

Katherine held an eye roll, "I have to be." she muttered, then looked at Connor.
This girl was strange, and frankly she wasn't sure if she was fond of her yet or not. She could tell she wanted to pin Connor down and have her way with him, but most girls looked at him like that, so it was nothing new, but it still kinda bugged her.

The brunette then noticed that Zeliyah had began to look uncomfortable. She then shot a look at Connor as he spoke, yes, she understood she was popular, she was known, he didn't have to include in his own introduction. She dropped his hand and looked back at the uncomfortable girl.
"You look uneasy, what's wrong?" she questioned.

Not quite sure why she was being friendly, she went along with it.
Zeliyah had potential to be in Katherine's power, why didn't she go for it? She then cocked her head curiously and smiled at the girl.

Emiline watched as Connor left then let out a sigh, "Wow.." she whispered to herself and then sat against the tree, what to do now? She saw a girl walk outside, and wanted to approach her, but decided against it, she looked like she was on something but she sent a friendly smile and a small wave to the girl.

The blonde stood up and brushed all the small pieces of grass off her legs then made her way back towards the school. Sam waved as she walked and she stopped walking for a minute then stared at him and April, did he just wave at her? She looked behind her and then shrugged smiling at him anyways. She went to step forward, but stopped noticing a small dandelion that shone in the sun's bright light, she pulled out her camera and snapped a picture with it, getting the perfect angle and light. Then sighed and pushed the few strands of hair that had fallen out from behind her ear. She then proceeded into the school, Connor's touch still lingering on her lips.

Getting into the school she turned and approached her locker shoving her bag in and letting out a small groan, randomly, but much needed. She shut her locker and spun on her heels turning down the hallway.

As she turned a corner she stopped walking seeing Connor, a dark haired girl that she had never seen before, and Katherine, who gave her a devious smile. Emiline swallowed hard, almost determined to turn around and run away, but she just wore a blank expression on her face and blinked, "Hi." she mumbled.
