Lucas sighed He knew he should be saying these things to his boyfriend and not his sister, but he just didn't want to hurt him. He knew that him staying in the closet was also hurting him, but he just couldn't do it. Hearing the door bell a smile crept on his face,"I bet it's Langston, let's go say hi!" he said wit a bright smile he loved his older brother to death he looked up to him. He felt like he was close to him, not as close like his twin ,but still pretty close. Getting up off the floor he opened his sisters door and headed down the stairs. Seeing his older sister at the door and his brother he smiled,"Lang you made it!" he said as he jumped the last few stairs and landed on the floor. Walking over to his brother he gave him a quick slap to the hand and pulled him into a quick hug. "Oh hey Kavi." he said with a fake smile and even more fake enthusiasm, he didn't really like Kavi he felt she was a bad influence on his brother and was nothing more then a gold digger.

Quickly moving away from her he tuned his attention to his sister,"Hey I didn't know you were home." he said with a smile as he looked up the stairs and cupped his hands around his mouth,"Lexus get your but down here Lang is home." he called to her knowing she was prolly just being slow. Turning back to his brother he smiled again he was happy his family was coming back home the house will be full and alive with people again. "Come on in guys don't just stand in the doorway!" he said as he grabbed a bag and helped to bring it in. Once everyone was in the house he closed the door and put the luggage by the stairs. "Hey bro you need anything I think there are a couple beers in the fridge I know dad wont mind." he said to him he had always been like this around his brother, he tended to dote on him like a wife ,but he just loved him so much.

Hearing the front office come over the intercom and explain that it was Tyler Nash that was picking Liam up and his sister wasn't with the older teen, Liam listened to Mr. Schafer explain that he guessed he was going to have to walk Liam to the front and inform Mr. Nash. Smirking, Liam couldn't help but do so since he was fully aware that Tyler was just as bad if not worse then him back when he was in middle school and Mr. Schafer was the main teacher that would deal with him.

Walking to the front with Mr. Schafer, Liam groaned as they stopped in the office for a moment before finally heading outside. Spotting Tyler's car, Liam took off towards it, ignoring Mr. Schafer's calls for him to stop, before stopping right as he looked like he was about to run into the side of the vehicle. Throwing the door open, Liam laughed, "Run! Make a run for it before you have to deal with Mr. Schafer!" unfortunately at that moment Liam heard the man scold him for once again not listening. "Sorry Mr. Schafer." Liam mocked, giving Tyler an annoyed look before climbing in and buckling his seat belt while Mr. Schafer explained to Tyler that he was wanting to have a parent, teacher conference when the kids came back to school the very next week. "Uh my parents are going out of town. Lania, Lucas, Lex and Tyler are going to be in charge until they get back." he said quickly before glancing at Tyler in hopes the older teen would help him out so he wouldn't have to deal with getting in trouble. However before Tyler could answer, Liam dropped his shoulders in defeat of getting out of trouble when Mr. Schafer then explained he would like a call from either parent by nine tonight then.

xxxxx♔ As soon as the door opened, Langston got a hug from his little sister. Lani and him were close but he would always make her made by mimicking her voice. Those were the days... Langston gave a big hug back to his sister with a smile, "I missed you too Lani." He chuckled softly then looking over at Kavi. "She's Lania or you can call her Lani. Lani and Kavi, Lani and Kavi." he said glancing at the two as he mentions both their names. It was a long time since Langston talked with Lani or matter of fact, any of his siblings since he left. Finally a time to see his siblings that stuck with him since he was born. Langston grabbed the bags on the ground and shadowed Kavi's footsteps. He places the bags on the side and looks around for a bit. 'Damn I missed this place...' he thought to himself then looking over at Kavi that commented on how nice the place looked. There were some changes here and there but it still looked the same since he left. "Eh, I guess you can say that." Langston shrugged. It wasn't as nice since the house is getting a bit outdated compared to the other houses around the neighborhood. He didn't really like talking about his family, in particular his parents.

xxxxx♔ Facing the stairs, Langston saw his little brother heading down. "Lucas, hey! Nice finally seeing you again." he smiled, giving him a small hug. The last time he saw Lucas was the night that Langston was leaving the house to Kavi's. He knew that Lucas knew everything that happened and probably didn't like Kavi for it but Langston tried to convince that Kavi wasn't the reason why he left. He looked at Lucas with a cocked eyebrow when he greeted Kavi in a weird manner that only the family members could tell especially when they've been living with Lucas for more than 10 years. Langston and Lucas were pretty close but once in awhile got into fights because one would annoy the other so much the one being annoyed would lose their temper and hit each other till someone bleeds. Obviously Langston could tell that Lucas was just pulling the act just to be nice. Good to be home, right? ...

xxxxx♔ So far so good besides the acting his brother is putting up. "Did ya mention beer? Hell, mind if I do." Langston smirked as he walked off into the kitchen. Although he was only nineteen, Langston didn't care nor his parents (maybe). No sign of his parents, yet. He wondered what they would say or do when they see Langston and meet Kavi. Eh, he wasn't looking forward to it. Might as well just relax a bit with some beer. He swung the fridge door open and started digging inside to find the beer. He lightly kicked the fridge door closed with two beers in his hand. Popping the caps on both of the bottles by using the edge of the counter top as a bottle opener. Langston walked into the living room and placed one on the coffee table as he plopped onto the two-seat couch. He looked over at Kavi when he patted the empty seat next to him.

Story Time...

Jeremiah had a smile on his face as he stood besides his boyfriend upstairs. He wanted to be himself which he could in front of Lucas and his twin sister, but he felt out of place with the other side of their family. Even though Lucas had told him the story of how he is afraid to come out over and over, Jeremiah does his best to pretend but that doesn't mean he likes it. Every moment they are together the only thing on his mind is kissing him. True, he wasn't one to hide who he was, but he could feel something special between the two of them that wouldn't let him ruin it. So he would play along.

Following Lucas down the stairs he saw that all of his older siblings had made it back. Seeing how he reacted with his family wasn't much different which made his smiled more genuine. Trying to keep his distance from Lucas, Jeremiah walked out of the front door, reached into his pocket and pulled out a his cellphone, but his pack of cigarettes fell out as well. He wanted a smoke but his phone buzzed again for the third time since school ended. Swiping his hand across the screen his eyes confirmed what he already knew. It was his ex. She was relentless at this point and he tried so hard not to give in like he did before. Turning around he saw Lucas threw the window. Deleting the text he sighed deeply before lighting the cigarettes and deeply inhaled.

Lexus watched how her brother and his boyfriend were together and couldn't help but to smile. She was happy that Lucas was happy with the other male. Sure, it was all a secret still... Lucas just wasn't ready to come out yet and she understood that. One day... She heard the doorbell ring as well and smiled at the thought of Langston coming home. It was great to have all the family home. Of course, she knew with him would be Kavi... Oh, she just didn't like the girl. Following the two males down the stairs, her eyes trailed on the very person she didn't want to see. Her... She couldn't stop her eyes from rolling. Lucas might be good at faking it, but she wasn't. If she didn't like someone they were most likely going to know it. She watched as her brother hugged their brother then greeted the girlfriend and she tried to keep her smile for Lang on her face. She had to admit the presence of the other girl over shadowed pretty much everything else. She almost didn't see her other sister, Lani there.

"Hey, bro.. Glad to see you... And uhm... Kavi too." There was no doubting that Lexus' smile was forced when she looked at the girlfriend. She had just got into a fight earlier today and she had a feeling she was going to start another one if the girl didn't act right around her. She needed to get some fresh air. That was when she noticed Jeremiah had went out the door. It sounded like a good idea to join him, especially now that the rest of the family was starting to arrive... It had to be getting awkward. After a minute or so, she made her escape before she went to pulling hair. She slipped passed "Tasha" and smiled a bit, well at least tried to anyway. The fact that he was smoking answered the question she was about to ask, but she decided to go ahead and ask it anyway. "How's it going?" She was genuinely concerned about the guy after all. He was almost like family to her.

As she waiting for a response, Lexus' mind drifted a bit to Beth. They were good friends, at least she thought they were... Then of course ever since that night... When they kissed. No, there was no mistaking it. They were making out and she loved it... All of it. Then that added onto the small crush she had already been forming and the next thing she knew the small crush had grown.. A lot. The only thing was, their friendship was a bit different.. Sometimes she thought of the girl as her best friend then the next thing she knew she heard Beth was talking behind her back. Normally, she would confront a girl for doing something like that and things would get physical in the form of a fight, but because of her feelings, she couldn't bring herself to do it. Not yet anyway. In a way, she was in the closet too. Except in her case, she didn't tell anyone, not even her twin knew about all that had happened. She just had to text her...

But I'm not really the best one to give out love advice." She joked with a slight chuckle.

There she was. In a field. The sun shone down the tall wheat grasses forming tall shadows. The sky was as blue as a blue can ever be. It was cloudless and the sun was the only thing visible in the clear blue sky. It was quiet. Nobody was around except for her. Not even an animal was found. Not a bird flying in the sky nor a squirrel climbing up a tree. Everything was peaceful. Just what she needed. She was tensed. Every problem in life was in her hands and she needed to get away from all of it. Elizabeth lied down the soft grass, closing her eyes as she placed her hands behind her neck for support. Even with her eyes closed, the sun was still visible in her sight. She listened to her breathing, feeling calmness replace tension in her body. Not a sound was heard. She thought she was going deaf but she wasn't. Beth finally opened her eyes, the sky blinding her eyes. Her eyes adjusted to the blinding sun as she looked around.

The tall grasses of wheat swayed in the wind, as if they were dancing. She ran her hand through the soft soil beneath her like she was making snow angels during the first day of winter in the front yard. It was soft and moist and smelled like... soil. A flower was right beside her. A pink Orchid. She smiled as she lifted it up from the soil. Beth rolled it around her hand, placing it near her nose as she inhaled the delicate scent of the orchid. If she could stay here forever, she would've done it a long time ago. She closed her eyes, wanting to take a short nap. She turned to her side, the wheat grass blocking anything there is to see. She felt a bug crawl on her hand making her swat it away, accidentally killing it. "Oops. I'm sorry, buggy." she said, feeling bad for killing the poor little creature.

Suddenly, Elizabeth's eyes opened. It was a dream. She felt so numb and lost. Her mother was flying to Chicago so she quickly rush out of bed, hoping to at least say good bye. The young brunette run to the main bedroom just to find it empty, her mother was gone. Elizabeth let out a sigh as she turn on her feet and walk to the bathroom. The day started normal enough. As normal as anything can be in downtown, that is. She went to school, attended classes, ate some form of mystery casserole at lunch, then headed over to Lexus's house. Lexus had invite her over for thanksgiving. Their relationship was not entire real. Elizabeth was challenged to date Lexus for a year, just to prove she wasn't racist. At first Elizabeth was angry at her friends but then she just man up and begin hanging out with Lexus. Then it got all confusing for her, she did like Lexus. Crap. The only problem is that; she was black. Right? Elizabeth Fredericka was probably the least likely person that you would think would ever fall for a girl. But she did, hard.

Her phone buzzed against her chest. Her brown gaze was fix on the phone as she grab it, it was Lexus asking if she was coming over. Gosh. Crazy cocoa secret girlfriend need to back away, give her space. Beth sighed angry as she place the phone inside her bag, not wanting to reply. The rebel teen walk across the street, singing under my umbrella, she spot Lexus outside. She wave at her direction before blowing a kiss. "Hey how cute you waiting for me?" Beth giggled playfully as she hug Lexus, then her gaze was on Jeremiah "Hi. So what are you guys doing outside?"

tab Kavi smiled "Well it's nice to meet you Lani, our names are familiar and I think Lang here is having fun with it" she said with a teasing smile to him. Hearing footsteps she saw the little brother come down, he greeted her with a smile and enthusiasm that didn't quite reach his eyes. Somethings off she thought to herself as the sister came down and greeted her. She waved and offered a smile. Looking to Langston as he came back into the room with two beers she smiled, a happy smile because he always made her smile. She looked at him as he patted the space beside him on the love seat. The young woman shook her head grinning as she excused herself to sit beside him. She gently placed her shoes on the floor and curled up beside him. She kissed his cheek lightly her legs tucked up under her.

tab Kavi tried to remain cheerful, right now, as it stood something was off and she didnt understand why his siblings wouldnt just come right out and say it. She looked at him "Im gonna go find our room and unpack honey" she said kissing his cheek again. She grabbed the bags still there and made her way upstairs excusing herself softly. She found the room, atleast she hoped she did, she remembered how Lang used to describe his room and recalling it in her mind it pretty much looked the same. She left the door open and set the bags down quietly. Some of his siblings were kind of open about not liking her, others seemed alright with her being here. She gave a soft sigh and stood looking out the window.

She smiled when she watched the rest of her family pour in to greet their brother. Lania was never that close with her family. She was always out and a 'bout with her boyfriend and friends. Sighing she entered the living room that everyone was going to. Katrina was a nice girl and she made her brother happy so she liked her even when no one else seemed to. Sitting down on an arm rest she played with her hands. Looking at her phone she had no new messages and still no sign of her boyfriend. When she looked up she saw Kavi leave to unpack. A minute later she glared at her brothers and sisters, why could they hate her.

Ending her glare she headed up the steps and into their room. This house was pretty big and that was a good so no one really had to share a room. Knocking on her door she walks in and sits with her by the window "Knock, knock! Hey how are you? You okay?" Smiling she relaxed a little. Looking back at her phone she still didn't have a message. She hasn't seen her boyfriend all day and she was really missing him. One day and she is like a baby puppy wanting to come to back to her mother. Grinning lightly at Kavi she relaxed and looked at her nicely showing that she was here to help and not judge.

tab Kavi was sitting by the window when she heard footsteps. She turned and saw Lania and smiled "Hey Lani, What can I do for you?" she said with a soft smile. She moved over so she could make some room for the younger girl. Lani asked if Kavi was okay and she nodded "I'm okay, Something's just off right now at least that's what it feels like to me" she said with a casual shrug. She looked at the suitcases and stood patting the girls shoulder she opened up the first drawer and began to unpack Langstons stuff. Story Time...

For awhile he stood outside feeling the nice chilly breeze with that cigarette in his mouth. He never understood how but they did seem to help him somewhat with helping him relieve some of his stress, but they never seemed to fix the problem. Just the feeling of it when he inhaled and gently exhaled gave him a warm feeling and even though it wasn't a joint he was just as satisfied with the feeling. Hearing the door open and closed behind him, Jeremiah took a quick glance at who it was that was coming out before turning back around. "Was I wrong when I thought that coming here would be easy or am I just being selfish" he asked as he reached his cigarette, "I mean I know he's afraid of what your parents are gonna say but I just wanna be with him".

That's one thing about himself he knew would probably never change. He's a hard lover, but is that a good or bad thing. Lexus understood his problem and even though her response was simple, it was true. Things do get better ,but will they before something bad happens that they may not be able to comeback from. "I just wish it was better now" he added. When it seems everything was beginning to feel partly okay his phone starting to ring, pulling out the cellular he looked to his screen and sighed deeply before hitting ignore and placing it back into his pocket. Suddenly he would hear singing coming from a distance and saw it was Lexus' riend. "We're just here to get some air, Ya know" he replied with a faint smile.

Seeing the two girls together mad Jeremiah think of how he was with Lucas. The touch of his skin felt so nice and his smile always made him melt. He began remembering the simple things that they did that did require a kiss, or a hug, or even them touching. They were also friends. True right now they couldn't be lovers but they still had other ways of communication. With his new resolve his body filled with excitement as he forced his hands into his pocket and pulled out his cellphone to send his boyfriend a random text.

Lucus glanced over to Jeremiah as he went outside a bit of sadness showed in Lucus' eye's,"Man I feel like an a** he likes me so much and I like him back why am I such a coward." he thought to himself as he turned his attention over to his sister. Seeing her leave as well which he thought was best cause knowing her she wanted to punch the girls lights out. After Langston came aback with beers and had Kavi sit next to him he smiled watching his brother be himself . He remembered when he first met the girl and they would sit on the couch watching t.v. and Lucus would never get to watch what he wanted to. As Kavi went upstairs to go put the clothes away he saw his older sister glare at him, he gave her a look back like he was sorry for how he acted. Once his older sister went up to help Kavi he went over to sit by his brother.

"Hey bro, so how have things been, you know we miss you around here." he said as he bumped into his brothers shoulder. Glancing out the window he saw his sister's best fiend had shown up as well, but he wasn't concerned with that his gaze fell on his boyfriend he was so great to Lucus. He could almost say he loved him, well not out loud of course ,but he did have very strong feelings for the teen. Felling his phone vibrate he pulled it out of his pocket and smiled brightly.

Smiling as he sent the message he turned to his brother who was still drinking and he took a deep breathe. The Mother

Jada held her grocery pages close to her body as she walked through the back door behind the kitchen. She went out early this morning to get ingredients for a good thanksgiving dinner and with all the kids back in the house she needed more food. "I'm home" she called putting down the really heavy bags down on the counter. "who's here?" she stretched out her aching hand from the heavy bags.

"Anyone going to come and help me with these groceries?" she continued taking out the two cartons of milk she bought and put them in her fridge. Jada didn't know who was here because she parked the car right in the garage. She didn't notice anything different but then again she had so much to do today. She lost too much time today day dreaming about sleeping with a man who wasn't her husband. She meant to straighten the house a bit more for the kids coming home and their girl friends. Yet none of it got done because of her day dreams.

After she put away a few of the groceries Jada gave a fed up sigh of having to do all the work herself. She knew at least one or two of her kids were here. She still had food in the car which needed to be unpacked and put in the freezer. She wiped her hands on a local towel before walking towards the living room immediately running into her two boys. "Here you two are, didn't you hear me calling for help with the groceries? And who said you could have those beers? The last time I checked you two were still underaged." she crossed her arms over her chest staring at Langston and Lucas waiting for an answer. She hated to scold them when she was their age she drank more than just a beer now and then. But she didn't want to cycle to repeat. She had gotten stuck with a man she didn't love, no college no nothing. No glamorous lifestyle she had originally planned. They could do anything, they were young and had possibilities.

And maybe if Jada hadn't had so much rum one night maybe she wouldn't have gotten pregnant and stuck with the man she shared a bed with. She didn't regret her children, she could never. She loved them too much but she didn't wish for this life.

xxxxx♔ Langston took a small sip as he looked over at Lexus, "Hey Lexus long time no see." He kissed Kavi back as she walks off to unpack the stuff. He wanted to go and follow since Langston and her weren't finished with the conversation outside. She avoided answering his question, which made him mad but right now he set the problem aside.'Hopefully Kavi and the others will get along...' he thought taking a sip of beer again then wiped the remaining beer on his lips with the sleeve of his coat. Langston let a chuckle escape his lips when Lucas looked over at him apologetically for acting like that when Kavi came in, so he just nodded his head to say its okay. Good thing Kavi is understanding and patient with others. "Great I missed you guys too." Langston said patting his brother on the shoulder. The two would always tell each other things like they weren't afraid to spill out anything. Langston even told Lucas all about how awful their parents were before he left the house.

xxxxx♔ The boy glanced over at the door to see his mom standing there with her arms crossed, looking at him with the beer in his hands. He didn't really care what she thought, Langston just wanted to drink some beer before both of his parents came. His parents are a handful especially when Kavi is here. "So? I'm close enough so let me be." Langston said taking a sip as he stood up from his spot, walking over to Lucas' side. After leaving the house, he felt like he could do anything and everything he wants without any damn permission from his parents. His relationship changed between him and his parents but his relationship between his brothers and sisters never changed, still loving each other like nothing ever happened. Langston glances over at Lucas who is standing beside him. "Alright, let's talk somewhere else then, where no one can hear." Langston said slowly purposely as he looks over at his mom. He hated when parents eavesdropped on people's conversations then they ask so many questions its overwhelming. "C'mon, lets go to your room." he said patting him on the shoulder as he passed his mom with the beer in his hands and to the hallway where Lucas' room was. He sat down on the wheelie chair, drinking his beer as Langston waited for Lucas to come in.

✖T-Nash was jamming out to some music when the next thing he heard was Liam's voice. His eyes widened as he saw the kid running towards the car and telling him to run. "Wait... What? Mr. Schafer? No, shi... I mean..." He swallowed. Lania had smacked him the last time he cursed in front of Liam. The last thing he needed was to have that happen again. The only thing was when it came to Mr. Schafer... So many curse words came to mind... The guy made his middle school life hell. Frankly, the guy was almost was going to see to it that he fail the eighth grade... In fact, the guy succeeded and he was the only reason why he was held back. The jerk... He never did figure out what the guy's problem was. Sure, he got in trouble a lot... All kids did. Well most kids did anyway.

Hearing Liam say that the Johnson's were out of town, T-Nash immediately caught on. He was a mornon when it came to some things but when it came to things like this, he was a pro at them. Especially if it was to help pull one over Mr. Schafer. Then the teacher said something before he had the chance.. No, he was going to help little man out of this. "Oh, I'm sorry Mr. Schafer. Mr. and Mrs. Johnson actually left this morning. See after everyone went off to school they had to leave. That's why I'm picking the little guy here up. So you'll just have to contact them when they get back... You could call them now, but they won't get the message as they're traveling by plane." He fibbed as it was as natural as the truth was. The man looked puzzled at first and was about to reply with something but Tyler beat him to it. "I'm supposed to get him home like ASAP, so bye!" With that, he gave a forced and not so friendly smile towards the teacher before pressing down on the gas and driving off. "I gotchu, kid." He told the young boy as he glanced over at him for a moment to flash a smile.

After a bit of driving, he pulled up to the Johnson house. There was quite a bit of foot traffic and he was starting to feel a bit hesitant. "Here we are, little man." He smiled at the younger boy as he turned off the car and waited a bit. He pulled out his phone and decided to text Lania.

Message: Hey, baby, I'm outside. I hope you're looking all kind of good for yo boo.

Pressing send, T-Nash slid the phone back into his pocket and waited. He wasn't yet ready to go in yet.✖

Lexus bit her lip as Jeremiah spoke. She really did feel for the guy. She knew how it was for Lucas, but she didn't really realize that it was so hard for Jeremiah. Okay, she knew it was hard on the other male. It was obvious that it was. In fact, to be here with the whole family, it had to be taking a bigger toil on him, being a secret and all. "You weren't wrong... And you're not selfish either. I understand, though... Love sucks. Seriously." She replied. She felt the same way actually. It wasn't like she was out to their parents or anyone really about her sexuality or about the fact that she was really falling hard for a girl. For her, she didn't really care about the fact that Beth was a girl or anything like that, it was just that she was confused about how real everything was. Beth would give her mixed signals at times and it was really getting to the point that she felt so torn about pretty much everything.

"Me too.." Lexus agreed softly. Why did Beth have to drive her so crazy? Usually for pretty much everything, she had a backbone and she stood up for herself, but the other girl... Her girlfriend? Her friend? Trying to label things was just not helping things. Not helping things at all. It was like her friend had read her mind because not too long passed and up walked Beth, singing. She couldn't help but to smile at the other girl's comment. "Yeah, something like that." She replied as she returned the hug. She really did enjoy those hugs... Why did things have to be so like this? The question was a natural question to ask, for sure. "Lang's home... He brought Kavi..." She replied. She didn't hesitate to express her dislike of Kavi over the time she had knew her "special" friend, so she figured it wouldn't take too much to realize exactly what she meant.
