▶ basics ) basics, babeh. first thing is first, you can cuss, darlings, just not too much. fit your characters, too. if they are bitches, then they should be bitches. if you are going to be absent for a certain amount of days, please inform me so that you don't just disappear on me. that irks me. go ahead and post in the ooc, don't be afraid to make friends! jeez, i sound like some type of teacher/counselor. do what ever the ******** you want to do! here is a major in this role play: maturity. if your characters do not get along in the role play, then that's jolly. if they picks fights with each other, that's jollier; everyone loves drama! just, don't go to the ooc and be an immature little b*****d. i hope i don't need to go over this - seriously, we're all advanced literate role players, right? no ******** cybering. once the clothes are off, time skip. if things get slow, go ahead and recommend a time skip. although, please either post it in the ooc or pm me. i have to approve though. check the ooc often for announcements.

▶ literacy ) this is an advanced literate role play. i want correct grammar, correct spelling. use spell check, mozilla firefox, or microsoft. anything that works for you. unless you have magnificent spelling, and you have never spelled a word wrong in your life. do not use text talk unless you are sending a text, e-mail or IM. make sure to color quote those too. punctuation should be correct, do not repeat yourself over and over again. once: we get your ******** point. i do not know what your definition of advanced literate is, but mine is: at least four decent paragraphs. more is excellent. if you can't produce that much, even with writers block, then gtfo. if you post less than that, you will receive two warnings. three strikes, your out. i want at the very least eight sentences in each of your paragraphs. once again, more is great. kay?

▶ reservations ) i know most of you just skipped to this paragraph to see the secret title. well, if you did, gtfo. read the upper paragraphs or you will be gone. to reserve a character, you must meet the following requirements: you have to be an advanced literate role player; you must send me a PM stating that you meet my requirements, which should include a sample and it should include what role you want to play. you can add the name and posting color of your character, but it's not required. if you do not receive the character you applied for, do not ******** pout. try another role, but i cannot guarantee s**t. to reserve, the title must be the title of the character position you are applying for.

▶ profiles ) you must use the profile skeleton i provide for you. do not change a thing on it. nothing! if there is a flaw, please inform me and i will fix it. the profile sometimes gets screwed up in the pm's. no worries. use the character i provide for you, it makes things easier. the profile is nothing special, really; it's just something itty bitty, it shouldn't even be called a profile. once sending your profile to me, the title should be your characters full name. you have a maximum of forty-eight hours. that's two days.

▶ posting ) when posting, please make sure your post are pretty! use a variety of different colors, and pictures. use icons if you would like. add lyrics, poems or sayings in your post. include their name, etc. don't use very bright colors. when your character is speaking, color quote it. do the same with texts so that we know what you are doing. try not to blind us. when posting, make sure your font is either 10 or 11. when posting, you can only post in third person. i don't want anyone to be posting in first person when it comes to posting. only third person.

the story


An outbreak of some type of disease has been making it's way through the air. What kind? The scientists are jumping on that. Radiation? No. Swine flu? Are you kidding me? Cancer? When pigs fly. No, this disease is airborne. It courses through the air, once inhaled, you are infected. It has taken over our oxygen, leaving traces of this "disease". What are we to do about it? Sit back and watch everyone die? No. The scientist found this out too late, of course. But, the remaining scientist are racking their brains, experimenting on victims, checking the air to see what is really going on with it all. They think that possibly, just maybe, they could find a cure for this "disease". With supplies running low, it isn't as easy as you think.

This "disease" has transformed the human race. Into some type of "monster", no one has necessarily put a name onto it. This "disease" turns people into these... monsters. They aren't allowed in day light. They aren't allowed to see the sun. They normally camp out in caves or dark subway tunnels, anything to get away from the light. The only problem is, they all come out during the night. Anyone roaming the streets late at night is a victim of these things -- once you have been bitten, you turn into one of these things unless you are immune to their bite. It hurts pretty bad. If you aren't immune, such as dogs, you become one of these things if they decide to spare your life. If not, you become a midnight snack.

A large group of immunes have been fighting their way to survive. Occasionally hanging out outside during daylight hours, but they stay far away from subway tunnels and abandoned buildings. They are careful with the stores they enter, and they've been stocking up on sunlamps. They are fighting for the cure, fighting to survive. It's harder than they assumed. The only question that comes up often is whether or not there is other groups striving to survive. Some are immune to both -- the airborne and the physical disease. Others are just immune to the airborne disease. Some believe it's pointless trying to survive, they are just all going to die some way. Others believe that they are legends, that they are there to defend the human race as much as they possibly could.

The fourteen survivors live in a small, abandoned building. The maximum is two floors; the windows have steel shields, to hide from all monsters that attempt to get into the building. The steel hides everything from windows to the brick walls outside of the building. When push comes to shove, everyone camps out in the basement, were it is decorated in sunlamps. The basement is were the scientist and doctors do all of their work, it's a mess down there. Sometimes, hiding from the enemy isn't as easy as it may seem.

a crush on the annoying the melodramatic star. he's normally
seen hanging around the romantic surgeon. he admires her work.

she's normally seen around the shy pediatrician, they
work together. although, she finds the nonchalant neurological doctor
completely annoying. she has always been head-over-heels for
the bumbling teacher. the clumsy genius seems to always be
attached to her side. she met the the piano prodigy and the smart-a** research scientist before she discovered the group.


the nonchalant neurological doctor


he's in love with the seductive singer. he always
has been. he would admit it, he's not afraid. in his opinion, the shy pediatrician
is too quiet, and the romantic surgeon is well.. romantic. he gets along perfectly
with the smart-a** research scientist. he stumbled into the group with the over-protective athlete, the seductive singer and the innocent bookworm.


the shy pediatrician


he's too shy to ever admit it, but he loves the romantic surgeon. that's
why he always hanging out with her. he doesn't speak much to the nonchalant neurological doctor. one of most. he hangs out with the persistent paleontologist and the serene professor. he found the serene professor and the bumbling teacher before they found the group. He doesn't talk to many people, so he doesn't have many enemies.


the ebullient meteorologist


she's always happy. but, when it comes to the persistent paleontologist, he just rubs her the wrong way, pissing her off. although,
she is very attracted to the piano prodigy, but who isn't? her brother is
the clumsy genius. they get along pretty well. she met the group after
she traveled with the clumsy genius and the melodramatic star.
she's an earful.


the smart-a** research scientist


she's in love with the persistent paleontologist, she has been
for awhile now. she gets along with the nonchalant neurological doctor.
before she stumbled upon the group, she traveled with the romantic surgeon
and the piano prodigy. ever since then, she gets along with the two pretty
well. even though he kept trying to get into her pants. she can't stand the
bumbling teacher. he's awkward. she and the over-protective athlete
get along great.

he's developed a slight crush on the seductive singer, but he's head
over heels for the ebullient meteorologist, he loves her smile. he doesn't
get along with the clumsy genius, even though he's just a teenager. that
doesn't do good when it comes to his sister. he traveled to the camp on his own,
without any help. he's normally seen around with the shy pediatrician. he's
one of the few.

she always had it in for the persistent paleontologist. she's very
seductive, so she has her way with most men. her sister is the innocent
bookworm, the two stumbled upon the nonchalant neurological doctor
and the over-protective athlete, the four made their way to the camp. she
hangs out with the melodramatic star and she can't stand the piano prodigy.


the serene professor


besides being in love with the shy pediatrician, she gets along
great with the piano prodigy. the two are pretty good friends, even
though he tries to get into her pants. she traveled to the group with the
bumbling teacher and the shy pediatrician. she gets along with
the two pretty good.

he's in love with the serene professor, but he would never admit
it. he's suppose to be the man-whore of the group, so he would never tell anyone
about it. he traveled with the smart-a** research scientist and the romantic
surgeon. he doesn't get along well with the seductive singer, they compete
against each other. sometimes, he hangs out with the melodramatic star.


the bumbling teacher


even though he likes the smart-a** research scientist, she
can't stand to be around him. so, he tries to direct his thought away from
her. he traveled with the serene professor and the shy pediatrician.
he hangs out with one of his students, the innocent bookworm. he gets
along with mostly everyone, even though he's awkward.
