Self-admittedly, Ian can't drive. He would admit that to anybody that asked. He had never bothered to learn. After all, he had grown up in a rather lavish life-style. People drove him places at his whim. He could recall many wasted days just cruising in the backseat of a fancy car with his best friends. So it seemed odd that one who couldn't drive would be the one to plan a road trip. Realizing this, Ian laughed a little, staring up at Sam.

"Well, we know I'm not driving. I guess it's whoever wants to. Although, if we need, I'm sure we could go find Bob," the blond replied, grinning still. For a moment, he considered pulling out his phone and calling somebody. Would any of his friends possibly know how to drive a bus? Thinking back on it, Ian realized that he should have planned this trip just a little better.

”I‘m f a l l I n g even more

Letting go of all I‘ve h e l d onto.
I‘m standing here until you make me m o v e.
I‘m h a n g I n g by a moment here with you.”

The girl giggled and nodded, exclaiming, "I know, right?!" Tagging along after her friend, she noted a boy. He was attractive, that could not be easily denied, but from the looks of it, Nessa liked him. She knew her friend, or at least as much as she was allowed to. And the Asian mix seemed to always need someone to target her affections on. It was no surprise she had picked one already, but Roxanne wondered how long this would last. She hoped desperately for her friend's sake she'd meet that one person that'd make her happy. Smiling pleasantly at the boy as she past she didn't fail to notice his slightly pompous look at her. He seemed to think himself better than the redhead, but she merely figured it was probably a misunderstanding. And with that, she left her friend and climbed the stairs to explore the upper level.

Shortly after, she came across a blonde girl. Roxxie skipped towards her, and on her last step, she jumped forward and crouched down. "Hiya Missy. How're you today?" She beamed cheerfully.

Do what you want,
But you're never gonna break me.
Sticks and stones are never gonna shake me.
No.

Nairi shook his head in response, just controlling himself from dropping his jaw. "I know, it's hard to believe that a good looking guy like me didn't grow up with this kinda stuff, but I'm not exactly the richest person in the world." This wasn't the tip of the iceberg. The male was lucky that he had a job so he could get some new clothes occasionally and handle buying necessities and providing some income to his mom.

"What, did you grow up living the high life? What do you do even?"
He questioned, genuinely curious. For a while, he thought he might get bored talking to this girl, but she had redeemed herself and perhaps would do for a while. He would go along with her charade, and perhaps she wouldn't find out his. He could only hope.

Eyes fight with my brain to believe my eyes
And it's harder than you think
To b e l i e v e this sadness
That creeps up my spine
And haunts me through the night
And life is good and the girls are g o r g e o u s
Suddenly the air smells much greener now

N4UGHTY N3SS4 [[I'V3 B33N W4iiTiiNG]] says:

Nessa refocused her attention on the ceiling, pondering her own life and how to explain it.

"No, Niko lived the high life. My parents lived the high life. I'm lucky I'm still living," the girl finally replied, a tone of despair lacing into her words. It was a very true statement. Nessa had plenty of material things, but only so it didn't look like her parents had favorites. But her parents did have favorites--Niko and Nila. Nessa was the odd-child of the family, and she had known this. According to some of her relatives, she had brought it upon herself. Nessa wouldn't disagree with them. She had made her mistakes as a teenager. And even now, in her early adult years, she still didn't fit into the Sanchez standards.

Not wanting to think about her past, she tried to think about an answer to his other question. What did she do? Thinking hard on it, the girl sat up and pulled a leg towards her chest, resting her head upon her knee. Her eyes seemed to focus on nothing in particular. They held an empty expression, almost like a doll's eyes.

"I don't know what I do," she continued, trying to force a smile upon her lips, "I mean I know what people want me to do, but I don't know what I want for myself. I guess in the long run, I'm the family ********."

The words stung her lips as they flowed into the air. She didn't know why she was talking so much. Nairi probably believed she was crazy at the moment, and if he did, she wouldn't fully disagree.

"But that's life, you know? Can't be what they want me to be. It's take me or leave me, you know?"

She had been talking too much, at least in her opinion. Deciding it best to divert the conversation from herself, she glanced up at Nairi, a curious expression soon filling her previously hollow eyes. Something about this boy made her feel less confident, less sure of herself. Something about this boy made her feel more human, more raw, less fake. Currently, she wasn't sure if that was a good thing or bad.

"And what about you? What do you do?"

[[O_o that was a long post. And it still revealed none of the good details XD]]

Aeron mumbled something. Half lifting her head up, then letting it drop. Then realizing someone was talking to her, she completely lifted herself up. She had been sleeping. Blinking a couple times to get her green eyes back into focus, she looked at the girl.

It took a couple minutes to register, and then Aeron figured out what she had said. "Hullo. I'm ohkay, not feeling too good. How about yourself?" Aeron cocked her head off to the side. "Your hair looks fantastic." Her words were soft and jumbled a little, and a bit of an Australian accent dripped in them, except it was mostly hidden.

When Sonny let go of his hand, Elijah was a tad relieved. He was probably being blatantly obvious with his annoyance towards her holding his hand, but he couldn't bring himself to just ask, straight out, 'Can you let go of my hand?'. It wasn't really like him. He glanced at Sonny as she demanded whether he was saying that she was old. Really, he wasn't.. really, he didn't care. But she was the first person that had bothered talking to him, so he couldn't be rude to her. "No, I'm not saying you're old. If I was saying you were old, I'd be saying that I was older, after all." He replied logically, hoping she wouldn't find some way to take offense of what he had said. He couldn't really understand why she would, but if she was sensative like some of the other people Elijah had met, it was possible that she would find something to get upset about.

As Sonny flipped the phone open, Elijah noticed that she had moved closer, though he didn't react. Obviously, she had to be closer in order to got both of their heads in the picture properly. He saw her pucker her lips out of the corner of his eye, and allowed a small smirk to play at his lips as he directed his kohl-rimmed eyes at the lens of the phone. Elijah was actually a bit of a 'camera whore', but he preferred being behind the camera, rather than the one the picture was being taken of. In any case, the picture had lightened his mood a tad, and he nodded as she asked if he liked it. "Very sexy." He stated matter-of-factly as he took in the photo, the girl's pink locks contrasting brilliantly with his darker-colored hair.

When the voice came over the loud speaker, it caused Elijah to jump a little bit. He hadn't been ready for the sudden blast of noise, and tried to cover up his startled reaction by scratching the back of his neck with one hand. He turned towards the bus, before shuddering outwardly. "Well... Shall we...?" Elijah asked, distaste in his voice.

a Nairi Dadian posting production

Nairi had been sitting, paying attention to her words, her expression, just trying to soak it in, trying to understand what she was saying. It was more of a habit than anything, the boy liked to connect with people, or at least get to know their story. She seemed so much more than what he had expected- a short girl who liked to be almost naked, perhaps good for a few laughs that he would discard after a while. Nessa had a story he wanted to page through, examine every word and decide whether or not she was worthy enough of his companionship then. Not right off the bat, not because she looked how she did, and not simply because he was flirt. He just wanted to see what her background was, and then perhaps they'd become friends. Perhaps he had merely misunderstood this, this girl that stood before him, she seemed strong, and someone that had their skin toughened over the years. Nessa was somewhat of a puzzle, and the male wanted to slowly piece together.

The Armenian mix ran a few fingers over his mouth before tucking his hand underneath his chin and replied, "Me... Well." The boy breathed deeply before starting, getting the words to come out as fast as he could. He didn't want to talk about this, why was he talking about this? More importantly, why to some girl that he had known for about fifteen minutes? This was absurd. Yet, he was doing this. "I'm a part time college student, work as much as I can. Not bad pay, but it's just a way to help pay the bills, and help my folks at home. Sometimes my grandma too. I grew up mostly at her house."

Nairi realized he was merely picking and choosing what he told her. He didn't mention the summers of disappointment being shipped to Tennessee, he didn't mention their small apartment in Brooklyn that they barely afforded to keep. He didn't mention much, he didn't want to. The twenty-one year old wanted to appear cool and confident as he tried to be. Exposing his past would only bring pity, and pity was nothing to crave.

Nessa stared at the boy for a moment. He seemed so relaxed, so calm, as though nothing was bothering him. Yet, the look in his eyes said more than the rest of his body. He was an enigma, completely incomprehensible to the female. She tried to figure him out, reading all his body movements. Nothing quite seemed to add up to Vanessa. It was all the more reason to talk to the male.

"My grandmother hates me with a passion," the girl said, shrugging her shoulders apathetically, "I think most of my family hates, except Niko. Not that hating me solves anything, but whatever makes them happy."

The girl couldn't comprehend why she was explaining herself to Nairi. He didn't care about her life. Nobody did, she knew that. She realized talking about herself made her seem weak. She seemed emotionally vulnerable. Sighing, the girl stood up and walked towards the fridge. She pulled out a bottle of Vault and popped it open.

"You want anything, cutie?" she asked, giving the boy a small, almost hopeful, smile.

Sam waved his hand as if to say it was not even a suggestion. He didn't want to cause a fuss, after all, this wasn't a band, this was just a group of regular college students on a regular bus trip. Considering what kind of bus this was, he decided that it was more of a regular trip than a regular bus, but that didn't matter really. As the female's voice boomed over the loudspeaker, he got his answer. "So, Roxxie's going to drive, I guess?"

The boy was relieved at the thought. Suddenly it was brought to his attention that he'd soon be twenty-three. For three and a half whole years Sam and Ian had known each other. For a little over two, they had realized that they had liked each other. It seemed like such an awful long time, and the male was dreading the thought of his birthday. 'Twenty-three? That's so old.' Counting the days, the Searle hoped twenty days would pass as slowly as possible.

Because oh because
I've f a l l e n quite hard over, over you

The boy noticed her change of topic, it was hard to miss. One moment talking about how she was the black sheep amongst her family, then asking if he'd like anything. But he'd play along, he promised himself that he would. Picking himself up from his seat, Nairi trotted over to the female. With a quick pluck of the bottle from her hands, the raven-haired boy took a quick swig and flashed a grin at her.

"You."
He teased, before continuing, "Really, the same would be good." Being one that had to do things himself, he placed the bottle back into her hands and slinked around her slender frame. Nai managed to just barely graze her side as he reached for a Vault, unintentional as it was, he still felt slightly perverted. He opened the drink and sipped at it. The twenty-one year old didn't know why, but he felt too touchy-feely around Nessa. He had already put pants on her, lifted her chin, as well as her movements to him. To avoid any more of this feeling, Nairi resolved to try not to touch her as much as possible. He didn't like touching much anyways. All talk and no walk, Nairi.

Roxxie cocked her head, and asked wide-eyed,
"How come? Need some Advil or something?"
She hoped that this girl wasn't sick, that'd be an awful way to start a long road trip. All the adrenalin, all the excitement in the beginning wasn't going to last forever. Pretty soon, they'd get bored of staying in the car, and the redhead needed a few days to drive to the place where she had in mind.

Glancing at a lock of her wild mane of hair before grinning, pleased,
"Thank you! It's an uncontrollable lot, but looks okay sometimes. You've got pretty hair too, Missy."
It was true too, the sleepy girl had long, thick platinum blonde hair that would have made a normal girl jealous. Roxanne, however, wasn't one for jealousy, nor for wishing that she had something that she didn't. She perhaps would, though, had she not become attached to her crazy locks.

Nessa stared at her bottle for a moment, replaying the scene in her head. You. He had been teasing. She knew with every bit of her that he was teasing, yet somehow the back of her mind hoped that he wasn't. She couldn't explain it. They had only met, but there was something about him. Something raw. Something she could relate to. Somebody that understood her. It was an absurd though, but she certainly hoped.

Falling into the couch, she sipped on her bottle and folded her legs Indian-style. Her eyes temporarily focused on Nairi once more. He was gorgeous in his own foreign way. But she didn't like him. Not like that anyways. They had only just met, and there was small chance he was interested in her like that. Vanessa realized that she was thinking too much. She decided then to just take things as they happened.

"Well, if you want me," A small smirk crept across her lips, as she stared at the boy, "I'm all yours." A small laugh managed to make its way from her lips.

The boy's face twisted into an amused expression, and he took another sip of soda. Wiping his mouth with the back of his hand, he leaned against the fridge. He stuck the bottle in his back pocket, crossed his arms, and seriously considered this. Tapping his mouth with a few fingers, the male put it back folded across his chest. Nairi looked around dramatically and said, "Well. I could, but having you in a group of people like this, it might offend some that admire me from afar."

He knew, it was lame. But it was an excuse, and he needed one. The boy merely didn't want to have any romantic relationships. It wasn't a fear, but Nairi was just wanting to flirt with people. It wasn't fun when you had to be the responsible boyfriend. Plus, that included touching the other person a lot. Holding hands, kissing, cuddling, all those included touching. And the twenty-one year old wasn't big on that.

"Have it your way," replied Nessa, shrugging her shoulders casually and placing the bottle upon a table. She laid down on the couch once more, placing her hands behind her bed and staring at the boy leaned against the refrigerator. She wanted to flirt with him some more, just to see how far she could push him. However, she was scared of the feelings she got when they were in contact. There was a difference in flirting with this boy and the other boys she had flirted with. There were some form of sparks with this boy. Sparks that Vanessa wasn't sure she wanted to get too involved with. The thought of actually falling for a boy scared her. It wasn't that easy to trust people, and Nairi so far wasn't any different. She decided she'd flirt, but she'd keep her distance.

"And there's not really anybody around. Ian and Sam are back there," she stated, pointing towards the back bed, "But I think they're in their own world."

The boy smirked, as a commercial's line popped in his head. "Burger King- Have it Your Way." This also was associated with Dane Cook's skit, which usually had him in stitches. Naiir also wondered why she was still pressing the matter- no matter how lightly, it seemed as if she was actually interested in him. Assuming this to be just another conceited thought of his, which seemed to be quite common in his mind lately, he pushed it out of his mind.

Adjusting himself to look to the back of the bus where she was pointing, Nairi saw the pair, talking to themselves. They did seem wrapped up in their own world, talking softly, focusing just on the other. He nodded, and returned his gaze to Nessa. "Yeah. They do, but if I had you, don't you think it'd defeat the whole fun of the chase? Gotta look at the whole picture, Ness, what may seem good now, may not seem good twenty minutes from now. But, since it's me-" He paused to smirk and started again, "I don't know if it's going to be all that bad then too."
