3MMii;; UNTiiL THEN, ii R3MAiiN LiiK3 SWiiTZ3RLAND- N3UTR4L!
Settled comfortably on the couch rest a dark haired Brit boy, dressed somewhat more casual than the rest of the crew. They seemed to be really going all out for this, but the duke had failed to pack anything more formal than his current outfit, which consisted of a white button up with a gray sweater thrown over it. He wore nicer jeans as well, and black dress shoes. He frowned as this came to his attention and cursed quietly, "Bugger. Should have known to bring better shirts. Or at least decent trousers." But, there was nothing to do about it now, as most people were already ready, and there weren't many stores around. So, the duke would have to deal.
He looked around the room a bit wearily, he felt sick lately. He had troubles focusing, and stomach felt like it was in knots. The boy didn't understand why, Ian was the only one with worries at the moment, and Emlen was otherwise content at the moment. Perhaps it was merely a bug. His attention was held momentarily by Nessa settling herself on the couch, then redirected by Sekkie's greeting. She looked different, that's all he could say. His face was a blank stare, alarmed by her drastic change, and remembering his duty to be a gentleman, pulled into a weak smile. It wasn't that she looked bad in a dress, but Emlen simply wasn't used to her in such dress. He wasn't quite sure what he thought of it to be honest, so he figured if she didn't ask, he wouldn't have to come up with something specific. The English boy clapped his hands together once and said to the girls, "Looks like you two've cleaned up, lovely by the way, now's all that's left is the birthday chap and his lover. And, a'course, we need Roxxie to get herself situated." At his mention of her name, the Lavoie called back," I will, as soon as we get there Emmi!" He smiled pleasantly at the two girls, and tapped his fingertips along his knuckles. Emlen really didn't know what to make of this situation.
Here we are again, circles never end
How do I find the perfect fit
There's enough for everyone
But I'm still waiting in line
