'You'll see.' Emlen hated that phrase, 'you'll see.' That usually lead to a surprise of some sort, and the duke had his fair share of shockers, enough to tell that a lot of the times, they were not a good thing. He frowned at her response, but respected her wishes of privacy. As she disappeared into the bathroom once more, the blue-black haired boy shuffled downstairs again, carefully avoiding Nairi's line of vision. It was true, he had provoked him purposely. And as one with the royal blood of England flowing through his veins, he knew it was foolish and even a bit cowardly for him to refuse to expose himself. But, he had reasons. Emlen knew that Nairi would get worked up from the sheer glance at him, and to spare the Armenian the energy, he figured this was the best way to go about it.
But, a wrench was thrown into his plans when a new voice rose, one that he didn't recognize. And he felt it as his duty to greet her for some reason, and with regret, moved himself to the main room. Coughing as he passed through the doorway, the Brit placed a charming smile upon his lips and said, " 'Fraid I've never been. I'll be sure to remember that though, if I do." She was interesting, this new girl, by appearance's standards at least. The girl wasn't really like any of the other girls on the bus already, but he hadn't any other comments to say about her.
Here we are again, circles never end
How do I find the perfect fit
There's enough for everyone
But I'm still waiting in line
