♥Lessons Learned: Girls like English accents.♥
Nairi snapped out of his thoughts, and looked at the object Nessa was holding. A book. To be specific, his sketchbook. He slaved over those drawings, some of them being of ex-love interests, random people on the streets, young and old, male and female, the boy didn't discriminate in his drawings. The Armenian mix snatched the book back, worried that she saw the last drawing. 'Oh God, she probably thinks I'm a stalker now. I didn't even realize it was her. ******** ******** ********] He cursed silently. Already in a bad mood due to Emlen's behavior, the boy now was freaked out, and asked in a much harsher tone than intended, "Did you look at anything?" Nairi's forehead wrinkled in worry.
--
After doing his business and washing his hands, Emlen sauntered down the stairs just in time to see the boy wear a worried look and demand if she had looked in it. A smile curled his lips upwards, as he wondered what, in fact, was so precious that Nessa couldn't look at. So with a few giant steps and a sweep of the arm, the English boy had the sketchbook in his hands. "My dear, may I remind you of our little challenge? From the looks of it, you're not doing well at all." He clicked his tongue disapprovingly and flipped through the pages, even when Nairi tried to grab it back. "Lovely drawings, you actually migh- ooh. What's this?"He smiled broadly and flipped it shut and gave it back. "Looks like there's something after all, Dadian." Although he knew he was being completely opposite of his genuine character, the Miles child knew that this was the only way to make a big enough impact that some changes would occur soon. He felt slightly guilty about it, but figured in the long run, it'd all work out nicely.

Nairi's face felt hot, as he glared back at the duke. He couldn't believe it. He saw the drawings that he never let anyone else see before. He snatched it back and held it tightly to his chest with one hand. "You're despicable, and that was nothing, Miles. I was bored, and I didn't realize what it was until I was finished. And even if I'm not into this challenge, I'll still beat you, just to rub it in your face." He breathed furiously. He didn't know how, but he was going to win Nessa's affection. The boy didn't even know how to act; he never was one of those touchy-feely people, or those happy open-with-their-emotions ones either. He just was Nairi, a sort of cynical person, with a flirtatious nature. And to say the least, the male had no idea how to treat a lady with respect and kindness, at least in a gentlemanly manner. But perhaps not everyone looked for a gentleman, or at least so Nairi hoped.
Is she really going out with him?
Is she really gonna take him home tonight?
Is she really going out with him?
'Cause if my eyes don't deceive me
There's something going wrong around here
