Vanessa couldn't explain the attraction to Emlen. He seemed to be an absolute gentleman, and she figured that was what was attractive about him. Or perhaps because he was giving her attention that didn't require trying to put shorts on. What was so nice about him dressing her anyway? Her thoughts had drifted to Nairi once more. He's a complete a*****e, you know? But god damn, what is it about him? Maybe there's more under there? Or perhaps he's really a complete a*****e. Who knows?

She decided it best to pay attention to other things and gave Emlen a polite smile. "It's nice to meet you too. I like your accent."

Emlen nodded gratefully and smiled at the girl's comment. It seemed as though women in the States liked English accents, and clearly Nessa was no different. It was something that he was glad of now, as someone like her seemed to fancy it. He didn't get up from his place at the door, partially because of Sekkie, and another reason was he didn't want her to get the idea that he was merely trying to look at her garments.

As easy as they could be to be ogling at, the duke preferred to keep his eyes focusing on her face. Even if she just woke up, she seemed pretty well put together. Glancing quickly down at Sekkie, he answered, "Thanks. Nice place you guys have here. Roomy." He didn't actually know what to say in response, it was a bit early, and he had only been up for about ten minutes. The duke decided not to worry about it, and wore the same slightly smiling expression he most often wore.

Nairi frowned, that English kid took his comment with grace. It bugged him, he hadn't gotten to him at all. Not a dent, scratch, furrow of the brow, nothing. And worse yet, the boy had accused him of not being able to say Emlen. 'Seriously, what kind of name was that? Sounds like a girl's name. Like Emily and Lenna combined. Awful.' He tapped his fingers once on the table top and stabbed his food and crammed it in his mouth before he could comment on the scene taking place before him. It was agitating him, the chemistry these two seemed to have. He couldn't even stand to look at them. Nairi was not displeased because of Nessa had taken a fancy to him right off the bat, or at least mostly. He was angry that he seemed to be more popular than he was, already.

Just like at home, the Dadian was getting the sneaking suspicion that he wasn't good enough for his parents, nor was he good enough for Nessa. The blue eyed boy stopped abruptly in his train of thoughts. "Nessa? That almost always naked physical demon? What the hell am I thinking?" Wiping his hand through his bangs, and not caring if they fell over his eyes he focused on his food.

Cree had been riding along for a few days now, but she wasn't aware of all of the newcomers. She was drawn into her own little world. She kept to herself most of the time, but it was likely that she still had a crush on Sam. But, he had Ian, and Cree knew that Sam really loved him. It seemed that just about everyone on this trip, had someone; or were on the verge. Cree wasn't going to be without someone, she just needed to play her cards. Her mind told her that Sam was off limits, but there were other options. I mean, how could you not want to flirt when there were so many gorgeous guys? New guys too. Cree overheard Emlen's accent, and giggled lightly. Cree had a thing for guys with accents, well accents in general. British accents, were by far the best; in Cree's opinion. She had no other choice, she HAD to meet him. She sprang up throwing her ipod to the ground. Her pink hair brushed her face, as she nearly dove at the boy. There was a pause, and the asian was all atingle; glomping the boy until the two toppled over. "Hello! I'm Cree!" The words sputtered out at once. "I love your accent!"

Ian stared down the plate for a moment. It was not indeed pancakes, but instead it was French toast. He leaned over and gave Sam a quick peck on the cheek. "Thanks, love." He loved the fact that Sam could cook. He himself couldn't cook to save his life. Thinking back on his last attempts to cook, he recalled how the kitchen had smoked up. All I wanted to make was some ******** toast. Thinking back on it, he was extremely grateful Sam could cook.

"You know, Sam, there's a lot of reasons I'm thankful to have you, and you know that. But there's one in particular. I'm not sure how I'd survive if you couldn't cook."

Dominique blinked at the sudden weight on his back and shoulders. The voice told him that it was Jin. A goofy smile crossed his lips and he reached behind him and tickled his friend's sides. "Hello there Miss Jinny. How are you today? I have not seen you since dinner time yesterday. I hope you are well?" His thick French accent probably made the words seem to mean something else, but he didn't particularly care. He sent a polite smile at Dayton and Hei, before hoisting Jin higher up on his back, holding her arms, and carrying her out of the front of the bus and setting her on the couch. Rolling his shoulders momentarily, he sat down beside her on the couch. He stared across the room at Sekkie and Emlen, and laughed through his nose at first. Sekkie was such a random girl, very like Hei, only older and rather more worldly. Dominique smiled. This trip would be interesting, to say the very least.

Sekkie giggled and rolled off her friend, pulling the tissue out of her nose along the way. Grinning, she brushed one of her still-slightly-bloody hands across the side of Emlen's face. "Too late Emmi. I bled on you." Giggling, she rolled away and stood up, jumping onto the couch next to Dominique and trying to hide herself behind him. She was only mockingly afraid of Emlen. In all reality, the guy was a charmer and she knew she'd fallen for him. But right now was definitely not the time to tell him so. No, she'd wait till they were relatively alone. Especially once that pink-haired spazball and the a** Nairi left. Right now she'd stick with being that spazzy best friend, for now.

Nessa glanced around at the bus. It did feel rather spacious. However, the feeling of space was started to dwindle with the amount of people climbing on the bus. She was thankful for the upper deck. At least there was somewhere to escape all the people. She glanced over at Nairi who running his fingers through his hair. He seemed to be distraught, although Vanessa wasn't sure why. Shrugging it off, she excused herself from the crowd.

Making her way to the top of the bus, the Korean proceeded to change into normal clothes, or as normal as her clothes got. She returned in a pink shirt with a black skull on the bottom corner and a black shirt, which was almost short enough to be questionable. The girl made herself comfortable at one of the tables.

"Sorry about my previous ensemble," she said, staring at Nairi, "I'm clothed now. Be happy." She was unsure why she was trying make Nairi like her. She hadn't quite felt like he liked her very much. But still, there was something there.

Jin felt herself being placed on the couch by Dominique, and he soon sat down next to her. She leaned over and rested her head on his shoulder. She knew they were closer than most friends were. Of course, that was something that she enjoyed. She wrapped her arms around one of Nick's with a smile. She'd never admit it out loud, at least without him saying it first, but she was in love with the boy. Or at least, as close to love as she could be.

"So, Nick, you ready to be stuck with me for God knows how long?" she questioned with a small laugh.

Emlen's blue eyes widened in shock as the pink haired girl tackled him. 'Why was it that I seem such an easy target for people to run into today?' He wondered incredulously. "Cor." He breathed, and pushed her gently away. He didn't know this girl, and he didn't feel it was polite to continue physical contact with her. With Sekkie, it was different, they were close friends. But strangers, the duke thought this was different. He stammered out, trying to keep his collected composure, "T-thanks. Emlen. Nice to meet you, Cree." He glanced at Sekkie and back down at his shirt, and realized there wasn't even a speckle of blood. The boy grinned a goofy smile and exclaimed, "No you didn't, you tease."

He straightened up, and looked at the girl who had just re-entered. He studied her outfit, and felt it was more society-friendly. The Brit shrugged and merely said, "Not a big deal, we came in the early morn. You didn't know, did you?"

Nairi glanced up at the girl, gave her the once over and uttered a noise that sounded like, "hmph." He shrugged and looked back down at his food with a quick glance to the new guy. A new girl, great. The Armenian felt his luck getting better and better. He continued eating.

Sekkie laughed and got off the couch, walking over to Emlen and, standing in front of him with her arms crossed, examined his shirt closely. A fake crestfallen expression crossed her face. "You're right! This simply won't do, Emmi. Here, this will work." Uncrossing her arms, she clenched a fist till she felt her hand bleeding again slightly and wiped a tiny bit of it on Emlen's cheek. Laughing, she pointed at it as though she hadn't realized that she put it there. "You filthy tease! I did too bleed on you! See? There!"

Dominique shrugged, shifting Jin's head on his shoulder. He rested his head on hers in a just-friends way so that the others in the room wouldn't get the wrong impressions. He yawned very slightly before responding to her question. "Well, Miss Jinny, I am fairly certain that I do not have a choice at this point in time. After all, all of my important belongings are here with me on this bus. Even if I did leave right now, I would probably forget my belongings. And thus, I would be 'stuck with you'. So yes, I am ready to be stuck with you, Miss Jinny." In all honesty, he would prefer being stuck on the bus with only her. It was a complete secret from her and the other friends, but Dominique had fallen for her, heels over head. Completely. The only complication was that he hadn't gotten around to telling her yet. He hoped he would during the trip at some point.

The girl closed her eyes, relaxing against Dominique. She liked feeling him near her. There were times when she wanted to just scream to him that she loved him. However, she was too scared to ruin what they had to do it.

"If we have to share sleeping spaces, I get dibs on a space with you, okay?" She smiled as she said it. It wasn't even so much a flirting statement, but it was at the same time. And in the end, she was confused by why she had said it.

Dominique blinked at her comment for a moment. It was a tad bit of a flirting comment, but he let it pass. Perhaps if they did share a sleeping quarters he could tell her his feelings. Perhaps, perhaps. He was almost fed up with perhapses, but he held on a bit longer. He wouldn't admit himself to her in front of all these strangers. He would die of embarassment. "Alright Miss Jinny. Even if we do not share a sleeping quarters, you are welcome to spend nights with me." He hadn't exactly meant to say that. He had been thinking aloud. And his now red face was a dead giveaway as per why he had said that. Sighing, he closed his eyes. That could have blown everything, he just prayed that if she figured it out, she wouldn't comment yet.

Cree quickly stood up, and bowed to the ravishing boy. As in, 'I'm sorry.' She knew what she did wasn't the smartest. She couldn't help it though, she absolutely adored British accents. "It really is an honor to meet you, you must have so many admirers." She bit her lip and fidgeted nervously. "Um. I guess I'll leave you alone now, sorry for tackling you." She left the charming Brit and wondered what Sam was up to, and if he saw her idiocy. She looked to find Sam and Ian at a small table enjoying what looked to be French Toast. It smelled delicious, and at that moment Cree's stomach began to growl. She walked to where Sam and Ian sat, and gave a small grin. "Hey, lovie dovies. Lovely morning isn't it?" There was a second growl from her stomach, as she studied the food. "French Toast huh? Very cute." She continued to sit there, and hoped her stomach wouldn't rumble much louder.

Jin's eyes widened slightly at Nick's reply. He was full of surprises today. However, she was unsure of how to take his comment. Was he flirting with her, or was he just being friendly? She had a hard time distinguishing between the two. But still she found herself closing her eyes and replying, "I'd like that. I'd like that a lot." Her voice was quiet, almost as though she was lost inside some dream. Although, she was in a day dream now, thinking about how she wanted to tell the boy her secret. If only she didn't have to worry about ruining their friendship.
