Although somewhat taken aback by Ian's sudden display of affection, his baby blues widened before he consented and returned the kiss. Samson pulled back enough to get a good look at the other in the face, and a grin pulled his mouth over easily. "Love you too." He stated simply. It was a well known fact by now, the blond was the object of the elder Searle boy's affection. In fact, ever since their first meeting, the male hadn't really dated anyone other than him. Of course, it wasn't intentional, it just happened that way.

And upon Ian's announcement to get going, it occurred to him that he wouldn't be outside for a while. The boy, being a nature lover, felt slightly unnerved at this idea. As much fun as this road trip was going to be, Sam decided the traveling process wasn't going to be one of his favorites. All he had to hope for was that Roxxie was going somewhere amusing, and wish for the best.

"Perhaps, you're supposed to touch like this," whispered the dark-haired female, leaning towards Nairi. Her eyes fell closed, and she brought her lips against Nairi's. It was a short-lived kiss, and she pulled away soon after.

The petite redhead sighed, and shrugged regaining her optimistic composure. The blonde must be tired or something, she seemed a bit out of it. And at the faint call of her long time friend to get going, Roxanne was only too happy to obey such orders. "Mkay, all aboard the Roxxie Express! Time to depart, duckies!" She bellowed, jumping to her feet and skipping down the stairs. The girl made a bee-line to the driver's seat, and as she did so she waved manically at the new comers as well as the other passengers.

Flopping into the tall leather chair, the young woman swung her feet which dangled off the edge, not quite touching the floor. "This simply won't do." Roxxie shook her head cheerfully and pulled the lever back on the side of the chair, adjusting it for a petite driver. Her feet now touching the bottom of the floor she was all ready. With a double honk of the bus, and switching the gears from park to reverse, they were pulled out. Another switch of the gears and they were off.

Ian smiled at Sam. He was thankful that the bus was moving. That meant later he'd be able to take a nap. "It feels kind of like old times, doesn't it?" he stated, glancing towards the window in the back of the bus, "Except we can actually touch without being in trouble, and it doesn't smell like cheap cigarettes." The lead singer of the band had smoked. Ian recalled how everybody else on the bus had hated it. Of course, Miki was the lead singer, so there wasn't much the rest could do. The bus days had been awkward for Ian. He had liked Sam most of their band days. Being in a band together, however, meant they couldn't be together. They had to sneak around, which had led to almost being shot in the head and seeing Sam get shot. Ian forced the memories away.

"And we're generally better off this time around," he added.

The dark haired boy merely looked at Vanessa. He placed his hands together with a small patting noise, rolled his lips inwards and brought his hands to his lips. Nairi was trying to resist the urge to wipe his lips, go get a toothbrush and clean his teeth, his mouth, the entire thing. It wasn't that there was anything wrong with Nessa, because as much as he would later deny any such thoughts, the male knew she was attractive. So he just sat there, in that position, frozen for a bit.

Placing his hands to be resting on his lips backs of hands facing outwards, the Dadian used this both as a thinking position and a way to almost wipe his mouth. Just resting his hands on his mouth was a way to curb the urge. The word urge reminded him of obsessive compulsive disorder. He didn't actually know if he had such a thing. But, brushing off the idea of a disorder, Nairi met the gaze of the female again and replied, "Hm. Perhaps. Dunno though, touching just might not be my thing."

Vanessa stared across at Nairi. She knew herself very well, and she knew she wasn't a bad kisser. He simply had some type of disorder. Of course, Vanessa considered herself just the one to break this disorder. Nairi was simply too gorgeous, and they were just too close, to be off limits. At least he hadn't darted out of the bus. Sure, the bus was moving. That didn't mean he couldn't try to jump out of it though. No more thinking like that, Nessie.

A determined expression came across the Korean mix's face, and she once more folded her arms over her chest. "You know, I'm going to make it your thing somehow. I just got to figure out how. You just wait and see." Vanessa remained facing the boy, looking him in the eye as she spoke. She felt tempted to reach up and pull his hand away from his lips. However she figured she had scared him enough and decided to leave it alone.

Nairi let out a brief chuckle as he shook his head. He wondered if she could, but he wasn't about to let himself get his hopes up that perhaps he'd realize that he liked to touch her. It was useless, to only set yourself up for disappointment. It was a feeling the twenty-one year old knew well. It was only so many times you could be sent back to Manhattan just to return swiftly to Tennessee that you could take without losing hope that you would stay there. But, it wasn't as if Nairi had always been this way, this non-touching behavior. Before, in his freshman year of high school he was popular with both genders and completely flirtatious in a both physical and emotional level. It wasn't until late in his junior year and beginning of senior that the mannerisms started to form.

So instead of completely doubting that the boy was never going to be the normal flirtatious person he once was, the sole child of the Dadian's smiled, almost amused by this idea. He removed his hands from his mouth and clapped them together before using the clasped pair of hands to point Nessa and said, "Look, if you succeed, you'll be lucky. And possibly a psychologist in the making. But, if you don't no spilled milk, yeah?" To prove that he didn't care much about this, he shrugged still wearing his small smirk upon his lips.

Sam nodded, replying carefully, "Yeah, kind of weird. I have a feeling I'm going to get antsy really fast." Thinking over his companion's later statements, it was true. He didn't have to hide anything, which is a reason why the band's splitting wasn't the worst thing in the world. Sure, there went his dream of being a professional musician, and he missed the feeling of adrenaline that each performance gave off. But it wasn't the worst thing that could happen to him. His grin widened at his boyfriend and he continued on, "We are, aren't we? Feels good, forgot what a hassle that was. Felt kinda wrong back then, didn't it?"

It had though. It felt as if it was something completely wrong and frowned upon. Sneaking about, making sure no one knew of their blooming relationship, it made Samson's skin crawl just thinking about it. He was just so relieved that he and Ian were still together and going strong, and this time, it seemed so right instead of something taboo.

He had hated it back then, having to pretend that Sam was just that drummer and having to pretend it didn't bother him when girls would hand the boy their phone numbers, whispering in that voice to call. He absolutely hated it. Thinking back on it, he realized just how bad it had hurt too. Especially after the band split up, and their contact had died.

"Part of me thought you were ashamed of us or something. Like, when the band died, and we stopped talking. I kept thinking that you just didn't want anything to do with me. You don't know realize just how much what we have now means to me." He looked up, staring Sam in the eyes, a strange look of sadness and happiness flooding his own dark eyes."Just being able to actually sleep in the same bed, or tell somebody 'Hey, that's my boyfriend,' is like one of the most amazing feelings in the world when you compare it to how we used to be."

Sam's face portrayed a look of utter disbelief. "Ashamed? Ashamed of you, Ian?" He retorted doubtfully. They didn't talk about the past much, at least not in a deeper level. The last real time they talked in detail about it was they day they got together. But such doubts, Sam had never known Ian had even thought of. But it was reasonable, he supposed, as they did sneak around, and he even fell off of the hospital bed trying to protect their secrecy. The brunet shook his head disapprovingly and sighed.

He began, "I was never ashamed. And when the band broke up, not only was I allowing myself to feel the pain of getting shot for the first time, but it was something that meant a lot to me- to all of us. Could I help but not feeling disappointed? I get quieter than usual when stuff like that happens, you know that." The boy wrapped his arm around Ian's shoulders and pulled himself closer to him. "I love you, always have. Don't doubt that." The Searle told his blond companion. The idea of such doubts floating around in Ian's subconscious made Samson anxious.

Ian felt Sam suddenly closer to him, and all the memories of the past seemed to drain away. The arm around him felt nice. It made a smile tug at his lips. He rested his head against Sam's chest and wrapped his free arm around Sam to the best of his abilities. He loved feeling Sam close to him. It was one of the reasons he had made up excuses to sneak into Sam's bed. Zander, one of Sam's dorm mates, would always tell the head of Housing that Ian was his friend just spending the night with him. The administration was the only group that Ian would hide his relationship from, and the only reason he did this was to be closer to Sam.

The first time he had sneaked into Sam's bed had been a surprise to Sam. Ian recalled how he had managed to slide under the covers when Sam was still asleep. The look on Sam's face when he awoke had been quite amusing to the blond. And now, he would get to wake up to Sam hopefully every morning.

"You know, I'm going to love waking up next to you," he said, barely noting that he had changed the subject, "Especially if you're hugging me like this."

The talk of being woken up, which usually was associated with mornings, the boy was less than pleased. Sammy grunted at the mere thought, and moved his arm upon Ian's shoulder. The boy was less than a morning person, and he could hardly manage to get up this morning, let alone ten in the morning. In fact, if he didn't have any coffee, he wouldn't wake up until about three in the afternoon, and still be exhausted. He frowned, responding, "I hope you bought a new tin of Folgers then."

Had it been anyone else but Ian waking him, the boy would most likely become a bit irritable and shortly after fall back into his slumber. But since it was Ian, who was as much a coffee addict as he was, the male had an idea that he would at least give him some coffee. And if he didn't, he could probably make Samson stay up a bit, but even if it was the blond the elder boy would probably slip back in his sleep.

Ian could survive on his natural high if he had to. Sam would have a hard time ever breaking his coffee habits.

The blond reached up and flicked at Sam's lip ring with his index finger, stating, "Don't make those frowny faces at me, Mister."

Vanessa laid down on the couch, once more folding her hands behind her head. Her eyes remained glued to the boy, and her mind raced with thoughts of how to break through that barrier of physical contact. She remembered hearing Ian mention a dance club he wanted to visit on the trip. Perhaps that would be a good place to try. Then again, it wasn't likely that Nairi would dance with her. It was still fun to dream.

"Perhaps," was the only reply she could think of at the moment. It wasn't much of a reply, but Vanessa decided that it would have to do, for she had decided to change the subject.

"I'm guessing that means you don't dance?"

The brunet nodded. Of course Ian knew, Ian had known him for three years, usually living with him in a bus of some sort. And upon the tapping of one of his eight piercings Sam blinked a few times in shock. He focused his blue eyes on the blond again and a crooked grin broke out over his face. "Watch it. I'm a croc. They can be quite dangerous, you know." He teased, referring to a silly day on the band's tour bus. With that, the twenty-two year old took his hand off of Ian's shoulder and made claw-like motions with his fingers and laughed. The boy let his hands drop- one on Ian's shoulder, the other to his lap.
