Samantha Crystal Star
Sam was in the hall way drinking from the water fountain. 30 seconds passed as she stood up and made her way to the bathroom where she fixed her hair. She sighed, then took a deep breathe. She didn't really like the idea that there were several ways she would end up probably making a fool of herself but she had to deal with her clumsiness. She walked out watching her every move, every step, she didn't' want to mess anything up her day was going fine so far. She had her head phones in her ear the music playing extremely loud. She was listening to impulse by Endless Sporadic. She usually listens to any genre of music, it just depends her mood. She smiled at a few students as she made her way to her locker. She turned it a few times trying to use her memory of what the code could possibly be. She giggled to herself taking out the code from her wallet. " 9-0-3 " she whispered to her self looking around. She opened her locker taking her sketch book and a class note book. She closed it silently then looked at her hand for her written schedule. " Blue homeroom" she nodded her head as she threw her bag over her shoulder and roamed the hallways for the BLUE home room. After about 2 minutes she found the class room.
She walked in silently seeing several students already in their seats, she moved to the back of the class where she sat next to the wall so she had a view from the window. she turned down the volume on her iPod after she saw two students staring. She passed her hand through her hair and then rested her bangs over her forehead. She began took out her notebook. It was practically her diary but she thought that was kind of childish. In it she would write music, draw, and just write. she took out a pen biting the end as she stared out the window. She usually spaced out. She wasn't very social anyways, she'd rather continue a conversation , than starting one. She then stared at the students in the class observing them in a way. She began to write and doodle in her notebook, she had time before class started.

●→ Raine's phone buzzed in her pocket as she was holding out the Skittles. She smiled at the text and slightly giggled. "U know, we're supposed to be in homeroom right now. Not first period.(:" Raine texted Jin, making sure to add her backwards smileyface at the end. Her arm soon grew tired so she placed the bag of Skittles in Jem's hand. She smiled and turned back to her phone, then glanced at the teacher. She was sure that phones weren't allowed in class, so she put it in her bag. She could still text, but she would act like she's looking for something. She was always coming up with new ways to text during class, because she always grew bored with the teacher.
She sighed as she picked up one of her coloured pencils and continued drawing. "First sketch the circle.. Then draw the head.. Then erase the circle. Draw top of the head. Draw the hair. Draw the neck. Sketch the body. Draw the eyes. Draw the nose and shadow. Draw the mouth. Draw the body. Draw the clothes. Erase sketch lines." Was her procedure for drawing. She had always been great at art, and she drew whenever she could. She rarely changed things up, but her drawings never failed.

The first thing Poppy Carling noticed when she arrived in the town of Rose Valley, Rhode Island was how different it was here in the US compared to Australia. It was cooler, for starters which wasn’t something she could complain about, but it was also…well, she honestly couldn’t put a name to what it was she found so out of place about the quaint American city but there was definitely something different. She had arrived at the St. Rose campus around six o’clock in the morning and the first thing she did was move all of her things into her dorm, which she hated by the way. Boring, plain, ugly. All of those things and more were how she described her new room. Poppy would be fixing that pretty soon. That was all a good two hours ago though and now the vivacious young girl was traveling on her way to homeroom. She was in green, whatever the hell that meant. Under normal circumstances, she would have assumed that was the teacher’s name but her schedule clearly stated that his name was House. Perhaps the school thought that they were five and needed color-coded classes to understand anything. She shook her head at the idea. Whatever. I hope there’s decent people in my class.
While she continued on towards what she assumed was the main building, Poppy couldn’t help but notice the insane amounts of obnoxious-looking people here. And they were all friends, talking in their obnoxious ways with their obnoxious nearly matching outfits. Poppy, of course, knew none of them considering this was the first time she had ever set foot in this country, but she judged them anyway because that was just how she worked. She judged people first and then got to actually know them, letting them prove either wrong or right.
Finally, Poppy reached a pair of doors leading to a building which many other students were entering now. She could only assume this was the place she needed to be so she followed in behind two giggling girl whom she really wanted to just trip right now and make them break a nail. Or something. But it was only the first day of school. She didn’t want to get in a ton of trouble before she even gave the school a chance. There was an entire year for tripping people she disliked. So, the brunette continued on, keeping her thoughts of mischief safe in her mind.
A hand reached out to open the door to the classroom who’s number matched the one on the slip of paper she held in the other hand, peering inside. It looked like chaos. I love my life. Poppy smiled. If there was one thing the girl loved most it was chaos. Pulling the door open wider, she stepped inside and tugged her bag higher up onto her shoulder. “Are you Dr. House?” she questioned the older man who was standing near the door with something in his hand. She couldn’t quite tell what it was from this angle, nor did she really care.

- 000 Zane Carlton was staring intensely at the small statue of Shakespeare's head when he heard someone loudly clear their throat. Turning and looking around to see where the sound came from, he saw a man standing near the door of his classroom. To be honest the guy was a bit creepy, standing there wearing sunglasses. To Zane, the glasses man looked a lot like some kind of government agent or something. As if he was straight out of a James Bond movie or something, but minus the fancy dress clothes. Not to say the guy wasn't well dressed or anything, but he wasn't wearing a tuxedo.
The man introduced himself as David Cimeronson, the new creative writing teacher. New teacher? Oh yeah, new school year. There were probably a lot of new teachers at St. Rose. Zane really needed to start reading the memos. Somewhere along his train of thought,he felt his phone buzz with a new text, probably from Gavin. He'd have to check it later, along with those memos. "Yes, yes I am," said Zane as he rose to shake hands with David, "What can I help you with?"
--------------------
000 Rhia Miklosko pulled out her phone, noticing a new text from Zoey reading 'I'm doing amazing! I'm so happy to be back! I'm actually meeting up with some old friends right now, but we should meet for lunch or something to play catch up. I want a picnic :] What homeroom do you have?'. Somehow she hadn't noticed it until just now because apparently RJ is a slow poster her phone was being stupid and was randomly dropping the signal here and there. Texting Zoey back, she said it's cool, picnic sounds fun, lemme know when & where. :] also I think I got House's homeroom. how about you?
As she hit the send button, she bumped into some other girl walking toward the dorms. As the girl apologized, she introduced herself as Lilly, also mentioning that she was new to the school. "It's fine, I'm alright," Rhia replied, "Said your name was Lilly? I'm Rhia, nice to meet you."
She was about to ask Why Lilliy was staring at her for so long, but the bell rang before she could say anything. Actually it was less of a bell, and more of Bates' voice telling everyone to go to their homerooms, but whatever. It was an announcement to go to class. She turned her attention back to Lilly. Random announcements always made for great conversation starters. "So Lilly, what homeroom do you have?"
--------------------
000 "Must be interesting having a twin." said Daxter, "You two must cause all kinds of trouble together." An announcement was soon heard around the school alerting them to go to their homerooms. "Well it was nice meeting you Heather. I'll see you later," he said with a smile and a wave as departed.
Walking away, he pulled out his phone to finally text Riff Havoc back. Yeah Riff, you eat it. You eat it all. Just letting you know I'm back. Upon reaching his homeroom in a timely manner he walked in the door and strode over to the teacher, Dr. House. Rather than say anything, Dax just stood near him. Waiting.
If Daxter had learned one thing from his time spent in near the House family, it was that Gregory House was always up to some kind of shenanigans.

●→ The colourful girl looked up from her paper to see a new person come in. She quickly stared at her paper, remembering that she forgot to say hello to the teacher. She lightly blushed and scribbled away on a new piece of paper. First red, then blue, then orange, the purple, then green, and so on. She sighed and crumpled up the paper and stuffed it in her bag. She looked at her phone, wondering where Jin was and why he didn't text her back. She lightly rested her head on her desk and thought about what was going to happen. She looked at the brunette that walked in. She really wanted to get up and say hello, but she decided not to. She assumed once class started that they would do something that helped the students get to know each other, like her old school did. But she wasn't very sure that was going to happen, as much as she wanted it to.

【Heather Seul Ki and Erika Yoona Park】

Erika was a little bit confused on what Dr. House just said. She understood the first part of what he said, but not the second. Still, she tried not to let her confusion show. Her eyes narrowed in response to the look he gave her, as if she was unfazed by it. If it were Heather, maybe she would, but Erika wasn't someone who could be brought down easily. She was a stubborn girl. Yeah, I can see that, Erika thought as Gavin warned her about his father. She then blinked when he announced his departure. Not that she cared or anything; she thought that he would stay a little longer. Oh, well.
Her attention then shifted as Fujiki--or rather, Fuji, took both her hands in his and said a few words to her. Erika stared at him, a WTF written all over her face, when he asked her if she liked musicals. Well, she'd seen one musical before, and that was when she and Heather were vacationing in New York. But to tell the truth, musicals weren't really her thing. "Not really," she answered as Fuji let go of her hands. She then pulled out her Samsung and sent a text message to her twin. Hey, Heather, what homeroom are you in? She was curious to know whether Heather was going to be in the same homeroom as her or in Blue. Just as she hit the send button, a girl came bursting into the classroom, yelling 'I'm here!' Geez, how come the people who showed up after me didn't get bonked on the head with a mallet? Erika thought bitterly. She glanced briefly at the door again when another girl entered the room. So far, it looked like the ratio of girls were outweighing the boys.
--------------------------------------------------------------
Heather grinned. "Oh, we do," she said, her tone a little bit mischievous. She wanted to tell Daxter how much she and Erika enjoyed playing their little switcheroo game (which they named The Twin Challenge), but refrained from doing so. It wouldn't be fun if she told him about their little game. She then overheard the announcement. Aww, she wanted to chat a little longer. Smiling, she waved farewell to Daxter as he departed. "Okay, see ya!" A little bit after he left, she heard her phone vibrate. Pulling her Hello Kitty phone out, she pressed a button to see Erika's text message. I'm in Blue with Mrs. Kholes. You? Heather text back before putting her phone away.
Realizing that she had not yet put away her things in her dorm room, she went ahead and did that. Then, after a trip to the office to pick up her class schedule, she found herself in front of the blue homeroom. Although Heather didn't know much about Mrs. Kholes, she did hear of how the blue homeroom teacher was almost always pregnant. She reached out to turn the doorknob, then opened the classroom door and entered inside. Upon seeing a book cart full of Wuthering Heights books, she lit up. "Ooh, 19th century literature! I love those!" Except Wuthering Heights wasn't one of her favourites. Give her something from Jane Austen, Charlotte Bronte, Lewis Carroll, or Charles Dickens anyday. Picking up one of the copies, she took a seat behind some girl.

- Lilly heard the announcement, telling the students the had to go to their homeroom. Glancing back at the pink haired girl, she gave her a half-way apologetic smile. "Nice to meet you Rhia. I'm in green homeroom with House. I think we actually have to go though. Are you in green as well? Lilly asked as she started towards green homeroom with House. She reached behind her head and lifted the hood of her brown, Texas sweatshirt, not really to block out Rhia, but to block her head phones from view of other people. She slid her iPod headphones through the hole on the inside of the front pocket and trailed them up the front of her shirt, but she didn't put them in just yet, because she was still talking with Rhia.. She had made that small hole so she could listen to music in class without the teachers seeing the headphones. It would be a new experience to be in a class where the teacher actually had the ability to not only see the headphones, but hear the music. Lilly smiled to herself. She liked a challenge.
She turned her head to look at Rhia again. "So Rhia, how long have you been here at St. Rose?" Lilly asked, her subtle accent weaving in and out of her words, but she didn't really notice. She was just glad she didn't have to wander around by herself anymore. The walk to the green homeroom was a comfortable one, despite the warm sun beating down on Lilly. Her favorite Texas sweatshirt was thin enough to where she wasn't overly hot in the nice weather. Still, she pulled the sleeves up past her elbows, letting the light breeze caress her skin.
They entered House's homeroom to see most of the students already in their seats. Lilly dropped into a chair in the back, near the door and took out her binder. Setting it on her desk, she turned on her music, and rested her chin in her hands, but only had one ear bud in, in case Rhia wanted to talk. She looked around the room, studying the students and the teacher, seeing who was in her class besides Rhia. She smiled when she saw Gavin sitting on House's desk. And was slightly confused when she saw a large, multi-colored, hammer-shaped toy on that same desk as well. Her eyebrow arched but she made no effort to ask anyone what it was for. The teacher himself was speaking to a nearby Asian girl, saying something about the universe, being him, smacking her or some-such nonsense like that. She rolled her eyes and studied him, not really listening to his words.
He was tall; at least six foot, if not more. His gray-ish hair was in disarray and he desperately needed to shave, though by the looks of it, he probably never did. His bright, icy-blue eyes showed a serious intelligence, which is what really caught Lilly's attention. She was a firm believer in "the eyes being the window to the soul" even though she thought the saying itself was rather retarded. He seemed to be favoring one if his legs, and upon further inspection, Lilly saw a black cane with orange and red flames on the bottom not too far away. While she was watching the teacher, a young man with blonde hair entered the room and walked over to House and stood next to him. He didn't say anything or draw any sort of attention to himself. He just stood there. Lilly arched her eyebrow again and leaned over to Rhia, not taking her eyes off the tall, blonde-haired guy. "Who is that? And why is he just standing next to House like that?"

- Had he not have had to go and wake up Liam for his first day in eh glorious St. Rose academy he would still be asleep.
After his friend left Oliver stretched out on his awkwardly shaped couch, trying to wake up his muscles for the new day. He hated having to wake up in the mornings considering most night of the week he worked until the wee morning hours. Then he went home and slept the day away. But he wouldn't be able to do that today and this made him quite unhappy. Since once he was woken up he found it extremely hard to fall back to sleep. Oliver adjusted his position, his skinny limbs sprawled out across the couch and his head nearly hanging off the edge. He still had the same clothes he had on last night, and he looked like an utter mess. His hair was tousled every which way and his shirt was unbuttoned and wrinkled. Yet he still seemed beautiful in a funny way. It must have been the way the morning dun from the large windows in his apartment made his ghostly pale skin glow. Something about him seemed open and friendly, but his sleepiness made him feel the exact opposite. He did not want to be bothered right now.
His eyes stared at the TV screen blankly, not really seeing and taking in anything in particular. It was just a blur of colors to him. His eyes began to feel heavier and heavier as he welcomed in the sleepiness he felt, maybe being finally able to break the curse of his morning time insomnia. Just as he was about to slip into the sweet and sublime bliss that is, sleep, there was a loud and incessant pounding at his door. Oliver's eyes snapped open like shutters when you pull the string to hard and his brow immediately furrowed in annoyance. Who dare bother him in this almost perfect moment in which he was finally going to get some real shut eye? No matter how uncomfortable the position he was in on his couch looked. He sighed heavily and literally rolled off the sofa, his legs feeling like spaghetti. He slowly inched his way towards the door and the pounding started up once more.
"Oi! I'm coming you wanker stop banging." He shouted as he picked up the pace. He opened the door and was immediately pushed aside by his sister Nancy barging into the apartment. She was the oldest out of his siblings, though they were all younger then himself. Nancy was eighteen years old by now and well on her way to moving out of the house just as he did when he was eighteen. He thought about it for a moment, it was really for the best, this way the house wouldn't be so crowded anymore. Oliver was now leaning against he door and clutching the door knob for support. He ran his fingers through his hair, only messing it up more. He blinked a few times as his sister went directly towards his fridge and started stocking it up with a small grocery bag she had in her hand. Which wasn't a bad thing, considering the only food items he had in there was a left over half of a pizza and a few beers. "Uhm...?" Was all he could manage to say in his sleepy and confused state. His sister immediately started talking a thousand words per second.
"Mum told me to do a bit of shopping for you, you know how she is. She wanted to make sure you weren't starving yourself." She whirled around and stepped up closer to him, cringing instantly. "You smell like you rolled around on the floor of a bar, I hope you weren't up to too much trouble last night Oli." She said as she tried to find a garbage can to put the plastic grocery bag in. Eventually Oliver walked up to her and took the bag, setting it down on the kitchen table.
"You and I both know that's not why your here." He said as he loomed over her slightly. Nancy's face turned to a frown. Oliver went on. "No, I am not moving closer to home, no I will not quit my job and go off to some money hungry test score crazed college, and yes I still think you were adopted." He said in perfect succession. Had I forgotten to mention something? Oh yeah, Nancy was an uptight wreck. She was the only one in the family who wanted to lead a 'normal life' and by her terms normal meant a house with a nice white fence and a cooperate job. She always wanted Oliver to become something he wasn't because she figured if he went out and tried to be some guy who worked behind a desk all day then his other siblings would follow like ducks in a line. To tell the truth he could really care less. He saw no joy in life behind a desk and he didn’t think his siblings would either. So unlike her he wasn't going to force anyone to do anything they didn't want to do.
Nancy's eyes went cold. "Your impossible Oliver. You know how much they look up to you, yet you set the most horrible example." She started to leave and Oliver rolled his eyes. Normally he would have argued back. But he didn’t want to deal with her this morning.
"Tell mum I said hi." He called to her nonchalantly. But the only responded he got was his sister slamming the door to his apartment. Oliver's eyes narrowed after she left. He kicked the closest thing to him, which was one of the dining chairs. It fell to the ground with a loud thud and he didn't even bother picking it up. He went into his bedroom and flopped face down on the bed, taking a moment to just get his head straight. He pulled the collar of his shirt to his nose and took a sniff of it, grimacing as it smelled sour and smoky. "Oh god I do smell horrible..." He said breathlessly as he shut his eyes. Within a few moments he was dozing off with his cell phone still in his jeans pocket. So if anyone messaged him the vibrations would surely wake him. But he was too lazy to take it out and put it elsewhere.

______ROSALINE?
Rosaline mad a mental not to give Timothy a call next time she got some bogues. Because if he was this crazy sober go knew what hell he would raise high. It almost made her giggle a little bit to herself when she thought of Timothy tripping out. But she would make sure to keep him safe and that nothing hurt him. Because that's why friend were for. To guard you while your spacing. But when he started going on about how she was graduating this year and that she would be leaving him behind she frowned slightly. Sure she had big things coming up in her future (hopefully) but that didn't mean she was going to abandon her friends. "I would never leave you all by your lonesome Tim and don't you forget it!" She said, poking his chest lightly with each word.
She smiled and gave Timothy a high five to his statement about mass mayhem. Sure she might not have been a trouble maker in the class. But you could just tell that most of the time her mind was elsewhere, and it would show in her expressions and actions. As well as the answers she would give teachers when they called on her when she wasn't paying attention. She remembered one particular day when she had a class with Timothy. They had been content throwing a paper ball across the room to each other, counting how many times they could do it without alerting the teacher. Thirty-four successful passes, one hit to a random student in the head and three pieces of paper wasted when one flew too far away. It was s**t like that which made the teachers dread having both of them in one class at once.
Rosaline thought for a moment, taking an over exaggerated pose as she scratched her chin and tilted her head up in wonderment. "I think it would be best to just head to class. It is Dr. House after all, wouldn't want to already make a horrible impression on the very first day." She paused, realizing she was sounding to sensible. "We have all year to do that." A mischievous smile spread across her face. She scampered into her dorm to grab her bag, which she had absent mindedly left in there with her other bags then locked the door behind her as she left. She then walked back the way they came to leave the dorm building and head to class, hoping Timothy was following her closely.
When they got into the school building it was like yet another task to find their homeroom, but since Rosaline knew the main better then the other buildings (besides how to get to the art room in the second building) it was less daunting. They came up to the room which held the green homeroom and then paused. Looking over to Timothy to make sure he was alright with going in. "You ready?" She asked, making it seem more like they were entering a dragon's layer rather then a class room. Then again House's wit and mannerism were just as dangerous as a fire breathing dragon in her view.

- indentRiffael bid farewell to the ladies, and to Carson's cousin, turning to look at Elias--the young man had just stated that the two of them had the same homeroom and, as that was the case, there was no reason for them to not walk together. Riff was not unfriendly, after all. So he waved his arm in a half-gesture for the southern boy to follow along behind him as he began to walk toward the Greenroom. The young man was quiet for most of the walk, as he rarely had anything to say and seemed to have a general tendency to be more fond of being asked questions rather than answering them. As such, he said very little and only smiled in response, blatantly ignoring questions or just being difficult. It wasn't long before the two could hear the general ruckus of the Greenroom--the group was loud enough to be heard down the hallway from where Elias and Riff stood at the moment. The young writer rose an eyebrow at the noise coming from the half-open doorway. "Loud as usual, I see. His classroom is never quiet," Riff said in an amused voice, more or less to himself. "I don't think I'd like to be very noticeable. It seems we have more than enough attention-happy people." With that in mind, the young man slipped into the room in a generally unnoticeable fashion--but then again, Riff had never made it a point to make himself noticeable anyway. He smirked at Daxter, who was standing near House (who, in turn, was carrying around a blue and red inflatable mallet--a dangerous combination for the old doctor, or so Riff thought).
indent"Keep your wits about you, Elias, or you're apt to lose something," Riff said to his companion as he took his seat in a chair in the back. His hazy gray eyes surveyed the scene before him--Rhia, along with another girl, had just entered the room, but he made no move to make himself seen. The ration of boys to girls, it seemed, was one-sided, yet none of the girls here seemed very feminine at all; there was an air of attitude to each and every one of them. The only semi-reasonable souls in the room were Gavin, himself, and another female that Gavin was talking to. He shrugged off his bag, setting it on the floor beside him as he watched the events play out. The homeroom was about to start--god only knew what House had in store for them. There was nothing scientific about the room, the boy noticed. No lab equipment, no textbooks out and about... In fact, the only science related article in the room was a skeleton in the corner, who was decorated with an Indiana Jones hat, jacket, and belt-and-whip combination. Sadly, Riff thought, the skeleton was missing the man-purse. Satchel. Whatever. The girl he had chosen to sit next to--some scene chick or what-have-you-name-her--was doodling with what appeared to be Crayola crayons.
indent"I haven't used those in a long time. Years, I'm certain. Are they as waxy and cheap as I remember them to be?" he asked her smoothly, leaning back in his chair. He tapped the top of his fountain pen against the desk, blue-gray eyes wandering up to meet hers after giving her a once-over. A small, friendly-yet-distant smile played on his thin lips.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
indentThe young medical student laughed at Elliott and Jem's response to him leaving. Gavin liked Elliott's personality so far, and was mildly envious of Jem's easy-going, energetic nature. At the same time, it strongly reminded him of Tim. "I'll stay until the end of homeroom, how about that? Make sure House doesn't murder all of you with the wild fury of his mallet," he said, grinning. Jem complained about not knowing the older boy's name, though from the looks of things, his attention span wasn't capable of sticking to one thing for much longer than a few seconds. Before the boy's attention could escape him completely, Gavin simply said, "My name is Gavin. It's nice to meet you." He leaned back against the desk, placing his hands on the smooth wood as he did so. People were really beginning to file in and as much as he'd like to, he couldn't greet each and every single one of them. Sweeping his brown hair out of his eyes, he simply smiled and waved as student after student piled in. For all it was worth, looked mildly bothered--there were too many students for the old man to handle, Gavin though. Any second now, he was probably going to start swinging wildly, the way small children did during arcade games; as such, Gavin took the mallet away from the older man's hands for the time being, which was why there wasn't the familiar squeak of the mallet ringing about. His analytical blue eyes seemed to sweep about the homeroom, examining each and every student, much like he was sure his father was doing now.
indentGavin's eyes found a familiar face--a few actually, as Riff slipped rather noiselessly in the room, followed by an unfamiliar face--and then there was Rhia and the girl he'd met earlier, Lilly. Shortly thereafter followed by Rhia's brother, Daxter, who was just as quiet as Riff in entering, sliding in to stand by Gavin and House. The young man smirk and lightly bopped his friend on the head with the mallet, hearing the satisfying squeak. No wonder his father seemed to enjoy smacking people on the head. "How are you doing, Daxter?" he asked, leaning back again. He tilted his head back and to the side, cracking his neck. Not much sleep the night before, and he'd fallen asleep at a weird angle on Zane's chest--as such, there was a knot in his neck. He stretched a little before examining the class again. "It seems we have a lot of girls here...or insane people. Or insane girls, I suppose," he commented. The girls were all very pretty--but then again, St. Rose seemed to be a place for pretty people. Gavin was mildly amused by this thought as he, flipped his hair to the side.
indentIf he weren't dating Zane, he might actually be attracted to some of the people here. Then again, personality mattered, but looks helped the first glance at least. Speaking of Zane, the older man hadn't texted him back, telling him the he had, indeed, forgotten to feed Timcampi. Sighing lightly, Gavin pursed his lips, torn between leaving anyway or just staying. Well, he promised he'd stay, and the cat would live without food for a few more hours...or at least the fifteen minutes it took for homeroom to finish. The young man decided to stay, returning his attention to Daxter.

indentAeron returned the warm smile that the pregnant Mrs. Kholes sent him. Part of him scorned those kind of smiles, particularly when he knew those who gave him those smiles knew he was deaf--they felt like pity smiles to him. But she probably didn't mean much by it, and as such, took his pad and pen and the book she handed him, nodding his head to signify he understood. He was actually excited for the coming year--try-outs for the soccer team were soon and Aeron was pumped to try out. Because deaf sports required deaf people, Aeron knew how to look around and act quickly when it came to team sports. Despite his disability, he had managed to live a relatively normal lifestyle, with the exception of being constantly asked whether he could understand them or not. He was pretty good at lip reading, though occasionally he mixed up words. But for the most part, he managed just as well as any hearing student might. The young man took the book and sat down, his hazel-brown eyes glancing about the classroom. Students were filtering in one by one--he, of course, knew none of them and as such just watched. He couldn't be loud or talkative even if he wanted to be; so he just sort of quietly flipped through his notebook and scrawled a few words down--things he knew he'd be needing to write several times over. Things like, "I'm deaf." Blunt, but to the point. He was, after all.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
indentWhile Gavin seemed to be having the time of his life, House was quite the contrary--the students were multiplying at a rate faster than the older man could really handle (well, that was a lie. House could handle them just fine, but they were multiplying at a rate that was less than fun for the doctor). God, they're coming from the ground or something. The noise was beginning to get on his nerves, which wasn't saying much, as it never took very much to get on his nerves in the first place. But that being beside the point, House hopped off the table (or at least did as much hopping as a man with a crippled leg could do). People were beginning to take their seats at least, and House could spot a few familiar faces here and there, even if, for the life of him, he couldn't remember what their names were. He was about to take the mallet back from Gavin and stomp through the room shouting, "THIS IS SPARTAAAA," but such an action was interrupted when a woman's voice held him back. It was a voice reminiscent to a certain wombat, but with a feminine tinge to it...not that it meant much, said certain wombat may as well have been a girl anyway. House turned, half in the process of grabbing the inflatable mallet from Gavin. His leg groaned in protest, and his free hand automatically went to steady it as he furrowed his brow. His blue eyes studied the girl as his son turned as well--both pairs of matching eyes examined Poppy for a moment before Gavin simply smiled at her and turned back to the conversation he was having.
indent"It really depends on who's asking and why they want to know. Your father wouldn't happen to be a surgeon, would he?" House asked erratically. Before she could answer, he waved it away, pulling the mallet out of Gavin's hands and gripping it in both of his. "Don't answer that." Turning, his eyes searched for his next target--fortunately for him, there was a wonderful looking target who just flopped into her seat. The familiar Penelope Bixby--otherwise known as "girl who is always high" or "girl who likes to make crap excuses to leave and smoke her brain out" or just "that high b***h." It was always something like that--oh, but she was perfect. If she spilled her coffee, it was an extra ten points in House's book. Taking aim, House drew his arm back and promptly threw the mallet across the room (she hadn't sat very far away from him, unfortunately for her). It hit her head with a satisfying SQUEAK--but sadly, had not upturned her coffee on her. It might have caused her to slosh a bit on herself, but nothing so damaging that he would excuse her from class.
indentPerfect.
indentSmirking, House stood up straight, ready to arm himself with some other toy on his desk if he had to. Gavin had given him a somewhat-disapproving look before shaking his head. The young man didn't feel a need to intervene just yet--oh, but House had a good idea for him. Just Gavin wait.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
indentTim couldn't help but laugh and grin widely at Rosaline. "Good. If you left me all by myself I'd die...and then haunt you," he waved his arms in a rather flailing imitation of a ghost, smirking at his dear friend. "Then you'll never be rid of me." Not that it would be entirely bad on his end; he enjoyed being around Rosaline--being able to be his crazy self and her not give two shits whether they were being stared at for making a spectacle over whether the floor was lava or not and trying to row a couch around the dorm lobby. If people didn't know any better, they might say she and he were a couple...but to them, it was all in the adventure they were having. Pretending to be Peter and Wendy, or hunt for treasure, or slip through the looking glass...maybe they looked like stoners, but honestly, they had fun sober. Fun times, he thought--and hell yeah, he was all for trying new things; if they had this much of an adventure sober, what would it be like intoxicated? He knew Rosaline would keep him safe and besides, where was the fun if there wasn't some risk? He had always wanted to see if he'd actually see pink elephants on parade. He doubted it, as he'd definitely never seen them drunk, but maybe it only happened during a certain kind of buzz.
indentBefore long, though, he was following his friend along to the Greenroom. He half-dreaded the science teacher, but he took comfort in the fact that he had Rosaline to keep him company. "Oh, House...we'll have all year to torment him," he said, laughing as he followed along behind Rosaline. Oh, the two of them were chaotic--and judging by the sounds coming from the homeroom itself, the class was chaotic, too, which meant it was that much more fun. Loud, excitable--the upcoming year was going to be fun by the sounds of things. There wasn't much of a task finding the homeroom--even if they didn't know the layout of the building, the sound alone was enough to guide them. Good, we're not the only wild ones. That was an exciting thought to the young man; it meant that he might find people who might actually consider him normal. This didn't mean he'd leave Rosaline all by herself, of course--she'd always be the first person who accepted him. But it also meant that if Rosaline was busy, he'd actually know other people too.
indent"I'm as ready as I'll ever be for the doctor," Tim replied to Rosaline's question. One was never prepared for House's class after all; no one ever knew what was going to happen. He might be calm, he might be adventurous--the old man was known for his craziness after all. It was sort of a reputation he had built since he came to the school a few months before that. Peaking in the crack in the door, Tim watched as House threw what appeared to be a hammer at another student, smirking in triumph. Tim pulled out of the door. "Ready your shield! He looks like he's throwing stuff!" This would be fun. Tim pulled his messenger bag tight around him, ready to use it as a make-shift shield should he need to. He almost wanted to go bashing into the classroom in the most spartan like way possible, flailing arms and charging in.

Ed was quite ready to hop on his fly ride and get out of there. He had succeeded in showing off his motorcycle and making Zoey jealous (he just knew she was. She couldn't not be jealous after the way she stared at it.) He had college-like stuff to attend to anyway, so he was ready to go. After the announcements, there were two distinct reactions from Zoey and Spencer. Zoey was excited but yet disappointed as she was not able to get some food before class began. Spencer, on the other hand, heaved a sigh and looked at Ed, her blue eyes wide and innocent. He knew that look. Yes, he knew it all too well. And he wasn't prepared for it. 's**t!' He thought as the puppy dog face descended upon him. 'Must resist... MUST RESIST... COOL MOTORCYCLE... COOL, DAMN, MOTORCYCLE... Aw... damnit....' The look was too powerful. Spencer had probably spent years cultivating it, he was no match for it, even with his cool motorcycle. He sighed and reached out to take the leash from her. God, how did he get himself into these situations? Then, they were leaving and Spencer had shoved the leash into his waiting hand. The dog heeled, looking up at him expectantly. Ed grinned down at Maddie. "I'm such a natural Pack-Leader... I should email Cesar Milian or something. Come on girl." He said, beginning to walk toward the dorms with the dog by his side. Oh yeah, watching Dog Whisperer definitely had paid off.
Selena looked toward the light pole in the parking lot as the morning announcements started, realizing how late it in fact was when Mr. Bates said they had only fifteen minutes ebfore class started. Zoey seemed forget what she was going to say as she quickly moved to a different subject, the subject of which homeroom Selena had. "Oh! Uh, I didn't really get to check..." She replied, opening her purse and rummaging through it for a few seconds before pulling out her neatly folded class schedule. She opened it and skimmed the lines. "Let's see... Blue homeroom, Mrs. Kholes. I have blue too!" She said, sounding excited. They had the same class! That was great, she couldn't imagine competing against Zoey and Spencer anyway. It would be hard to knowingly hurt or be hurt by her friends even if it was for competitions' sake. She didn't like to lose often anyway, so she would have been hurting them more if she had been in the other homeroom.

The boy seemed shocked by her sudden appearance but Alison didn't blame him for that, she was kind of light of foot, even with her boots on. She was always surprising people with how quietly she could approach them. When she didn't wear any shoes at all then she was like a ninja. She had freaked her parents and sister out so many times by just appearing in a room from out of nowhere that her mother had actually asked her to put on shoes in the house. She said it was so that her feet wouldn't get cold or dirty or whatever, but Alison knew the real reason. She found it somewhat amusing as well. She wondered how many people she would be able to freak out this year with her strange habits. She had learned that hers weren't even the strangest in the school. She fit in well here, she thought.
She tilted her head at him slightly, "I figured; it's the look of confusion that gave you away... And the fact that you're in the girls' part of the dorms." She said, pulling her hands out of the pockets of her skirt and pushing her hair behind her ears. She noted that he looked slightly embarrassed and was going to tell him not to be when he spoke again, smiling slightly while he did. He had a nice smile, an easy smile, it made him look younger then he probably was. She laughed slightly at his light joke. Not soon after, the principal came on the P.A. system, telling the students that they had fifteen minutes to get to class. Alison looked up at the ceiling when the announcement started, as if she had been expecting to see Mr. Bates above her head while he spoke. She looked back at the boy in front of her halfway through the announcement, gauging his reaction to it. Alison was always studying others, it was a habit of hers she couldn't break. She didn't even know this guy's name yet but she already knew she wanted to be his friend, just seemed... likable. Yes, that was the right word.
The next words out of his mouth caused her to raise her eyebrow at him. What he said sounded like something between a friendly request and an attempt at flirting with her, she didn't know how to take it exactly. Thankfully, she didn't have to say anything just yet, because he quickly added something else. His name. Seth Hawkins. It suited him, in her opinion. She couldn't see him with a different name, like Peter or Joey. "It's nice to meet you, Seth Hawkins. I'm Alison Jacobs." Alison smiled up at him. Now that she had time to deliberate, even if it was a short amount of time, Alison had decided that she wouldn't read too much into what he had said. After all, she had just met him. She wasn't an exotic beauty or anything close to that, so she doubted that he had meant it as anything but a friendly request.
"And that sounds like a good idea. But," She said, walking forward in the direction she had been walking in before, pivoting her body so that she was facing him as she moved. "We need to go this way. The boys' dorms are on the other side of the stairwell. Once we get there we can find your dorm room and then you can pretend to walk me to class." That would be potentially hard to do if they were in different classes though. She twisted her lips in thought as they walked, wondering if she should wait until they got to the boys' part of the dormitory to ask or if she should just ask him what his class was then. Her impatience won out eventually. "So, what homeroom are you in, anyway? Are you a senior?" That last question slipped out of her mouth unchecked. Her curiosity was getting the best of her already.

The trio of girls headed off in the direction of the main building so they could go to their homeroom; English for Spencer and Zoey and still unknown for Selena. Though Spencer prayed that she also had Mrs. Kholes for homeroom. It would be a shame if the three of them were not together. Nevertheless, she wouldn’t let it get her down if she was in another homeroom class. It was like they wouldn’t see each other at all throughout the day. And the blonde was far too excited about today to be disappointed about anything. She turned her head in the direction of Selena’s voice as the girl searched for her schedule to check whether she had Mrs. Kholes or Dr. House for homeroom. Please be blue, please be blue, pleeeaaase be blue! She had her fingers crossed. Not literally of course, but they were crossed in her mind, if that made any sense at all. Yes! Selena was in blue too! “Yay!” Spencer exclaimed, clapping her hands together once. “This is going to be so great.” She was even more excited to be going to class now that she knew the threesome would be staying together. “Oh yeah. I forgot to answer you before but, no. I don’t know what the baby is yet.” It was a little late but, ah well. Better late than never, yes?
As they kept walking, Spencer couldn’t help but notice all of the unfamiliar faces surrounding them, going about their business. It seemed like there were more people she didn’t know than people she did and that was a little disconcerting to the rather social girl. Well. She would just have to fix that. Later though. She needed to focus on getting to class. Which…they were pretty much here. Spencer pulled open the doors to the building and held them for Zoey and Selena because that was the polite thing to do and she was polite, dammit!
They continued on down the hall until they came to Mrs. Kholes’ classroom. Through that little window she could see that everyone was seated with books on their desks. I wonder what book we’re reading. She hoped it was something good. Also through the window, she could see that Mrs. Kholes was pregnant, again. Not that that surprised her in the slightest. What was this, her millionth child? Seemed like it. In the back of her mind she wondered what this class would be like with two pregnant people in it. Probably very interesting. Spencer opened the classroom door and leaned against it with her back to let Zoey and Selena pass first before walking in herself.
"Let’s sit in the back you guys,” she offered as she passed the cart with copies of Wuthering Heights on it. She smiled. She’d read the book before and loved it, so this was a good omen to her. The blonde picked up a copy and walked to the back of the classroom and sat at one of three empty desks in a row. There were more than three, of course, but that particular trio of desks had struck her as better than the others. SUCK ON THAT, OTHER DESKS.

Zoey had to resist jumping up and down from the pure excitement. It had been confirmed that Selena was in their class,
meaning that the three were officially reunited! They wouldn't have to compete against each other either. Zoey would
of felt bad having to constantly crush Selena in the competitions. Because, obviously, Zoey's team could not lose.
As they entered the English classroom, Zoey took a glance around. She recognized a few people, like Rex , Vivienne,
and Carson. She was also glad to see a few new people scattered about. She sent smiled and waved towards the people
she did know, but wanted to sit next the someone she didn't. NEW FRIENDS, DAMN IT. She looked among the faces, then
finally noticed a girl with long and dark hair who seemed to be sitting alone. She listened to an mp3, which must of meant she
liked music. Though, who didn't? Either way, it'd be something good for them to talk about. Zoey was about to suggest that
they sit in the back, but Spencer beat her to it. Not that she minded, in fact, this worked out well. She also grabbed a book
before following Selena and Spencer towards the back, taking a seat between her friends and the dark haired girl. "Hi, mind
if we sit here?" Zoey asked, though didn't really wait for an answer as she placed her rear in the seat. "My name is Zoey,
and these two gorgeous ladies are Selena and Spencer." She told the unfamiliar girl while gesturing towards her friends.
Mrs. Kholes had finished her pancakes the politely wiped some syrup off her lip. She was away that her actions,
eating pancakes in front of the class, could maybe confuse some of the students. But when you got her condition,
meaning there was a frickin' person in your stomach, one really stopped caring about things like that. With her
cravings settled for now, she stood and crossed her arms, a very satisfied smile wandering over her students. They
had a good little mix so far, one that she could see as very productive. Her eyes glanced over as a group of three girls
walking in as well. Mrs. Kholes had done her research, she studied last year's yearbook all through out the summer. So,
she was able to recognize these girls. From what she knew, they had issues with attendance. That would definitely
change this year. Mrs. Kholes simply would not allow anything less than one hundred percent from her homeroom class. Fail
English if you must, but make sure you are there for the team!
Her eyes glanced to the clock that hung on the the wall right by her desk. It tocked over her, but the bit of rumbling noise in
the class room filled over it's call. She saw the minute hand coming dangerously close to the twelve, signifying that it was almost
eight o clock in the morning. Classes would then begin, and the school year would officially have it's start. Mrs. Kholes looked
back around her class, unable to understand how all of the students seemed not as anxious as she was. Maybe it was the extra
twenty pounds in her belly, but this was the beginning of a new year! With competitions! It was basically the Olympics and they
were about to embark on a journey that would help them grow, help them win!
'How can they all be so calm?'
Mrs. Kholes was so deep in thought about this, but was startled right out of it when the bell's tone went off and first period had
officially begun. A smirk came to her face and her eyes moved to the speakers in the corner of her room, listening as a little
song played for a few seconds, the beginning of what seemed to be the new school anthem. She raised her brow a bit. How
the students would respond to this, she wasn't sure. But it did catch their attention, if anything. After only a few more
seconds, the music was dimmed and Master Bates' voice rang clearly through the speakers.
"Gooood morning, everyone and everything! Yes, even you, chair! To all our returning students and staff, welcome back! And to
all the new members of our family, allow me to properly give you a warm welcome to St. Rose Boarding Academy, a private
boarding school truly unlike any other! We look forward to growing as individuals throughout this year, together, students
and teachers alike! Whether you are new to the school or not, there are many new concepts St. Rose has adopted in order
to make a more.. interesting time! I'm sure you all have already noticed that instead of having the same core classes, like last
year, everyone is split among various color coded classes.
"This year, these color coded homerooms will be facing off against each other in competitions based on talent and pure creativity!
Our first competition will be the First Charity Festival of the year. Homerooms are to think of their own ways to raise money at a
festival by sponsoring an event. All money will go to the "SHOES FOR WHEELS" foundation, a cause that gives shoes to children
hidden to wheelchairs! So, think hard, invite your family, and make sure you earn plenty of money for these tots! The festival will
take place Saturday the fifteenth in the
school gardens. So, homerooms, be ready!
"In other news, the annual St. Rose Back to School Dance will take place this Friday, also in the gardens. Everyone is encouraged to
attend and socialize with their fellow peers. The dance will begin at eight o clock pm and the dress code is casual. Get ready to boogy!
"That is all the announcements for today! Everyone, enjoy your classes and we hope St. Rose will exceed your standards! If you have
any issues, please feel free to talk to me, your principal, Master Bates! Or you can approach your trusty Vice Principal,
Mr. Smidale! Smiddy, come here and say hello to the school!... Smiddy, come, come! ..... Oh, fine. Mr. Smidale says hello, everyone.
"Anyway, teachers, make sure to begin choosing homeroom reps this morning. I trust that you all will work together to make this
a great first day! Live well and ... long prosper, or something like that."
"It's live long and prosper, sir."
"You would know that, Smiddy."
Mrs. Kholes looked away from the speaker with a little laugh, then examined her crowd of students. It seemed a few would be
late, but they would be dealt with later. For now, she had her current star students to address. She moved to the podium in front of
the classroom, then rested her hands on it with a polite smile. "Good morning, class. My name is Mrs. Kholes. Welcome to
English, and more importantly, welcome to Blue Homeroom. It seems we have a very nice group here, so we should have no
problems completely destroying Green.
That is our first lesson. Green is the enemy. If you have any friends in Green, consider them no longer your friends. You are a Blue,
be proud. I know I'm proud of all of you." She nearly teared up while giving her little "pep talk", then slammed her hand back on her
podium, determination in her eyes.
"We are actually quite lucky. This English consists of pretty much you all reading a book, us discussing it, then you taking a quiz.
Therefore, we will have plenty of time for homeroom planning. Your first Wuthering Heights quiz will be on Friday and will cover chapters
the one through nine. The quiz will be short and multiple choice, as to allow us even more time for homeroom planning." While speaking,
Mrs. Khole had turned to her chalk board and was writing a few kept points on it, mostly just the dates of the next festival and the little
small mentions of Wuthering Heights issues.
"For the rest of the class, you will work in groups. Come up with a list of at least ten ideas for the Charity Festival. You may work with as
many people in your group as you'd like. BECAUSE TEAMWORK IS AMAZING! Now, everyone, get to work! Make sure you all get
along, I will allow no drama in this family, understand?! Thank you." Her face shifted from it's tense and commanding look, to a more polite
and gentle one.
"Alright, have fun, everyone~!"
Zoey blinked towards their English teacher. She seemed... interesting. Sweet one moment, crazy the next. Zoey couldn't help but feel
excited though. Between the announcements and her teacher's pep talk, she couldn't wait to get into this whole competition spirit! She
quickly reached into her purse and pulled out a piece of paper, along with her cute pen. She grinned while pounding down it's trigger, making the
ink point pop out, then pressing it to the paper. "Selena, Spencer, others, what are our ideas?" She asked while looking at the
people around her, a few of them she actually didn't know. But hell, she'd make sure she got to know them.

Jem spread out his ams high and spontaneously shouted, "it's great to be alive!" After Fuji had asked him how he was. The young man gleamed as he vocalized his hearty laugh, as a kind of reassurance of the previous statement. It was great to be alive: Jem was meeting plenty of wonderful people (before even the first class started), he was going to see his brother that he had not met with in at least three months, and most of all, he was in a completely new enviornment. Trying new things was on of many of Jem's favorite pleasures in life, along with being spontaneous and being in the nude. You could probably say that those last two things fit into the same category. As three new homeroom members gradually stepped into the room, Jem turned his attention to them at each entrance, for each person. They were three girls. The first of the bunch was quite the scenester; pitch black hair, raccoon-like eye makeup, and bright clothes. The style was never Jem's cup of tea, but this did not make him refrain from waving and saying "hiya" to her: Jem wanted to befriend everyone that he could. This girl promptly handed Jem a bag of Skittles, for some reason, as she texted. Giggling, Jem proceeded to put the packet of candies in his pocket for later use. Jem showed his gratitude by simply saying: "thank you." to her. The next girl that came in seemed to be groggy. Well, she was groggy: the first phrase that came out of her mouth as she stepped in the room was about how she was in a "crazy ward". Well, you couldn't blame her: the green homeroom kind-of was. Figuring that the more cheery that he was, the more that this new girl would, Jem put on his signature grin and waved. "Good morning!" He greeted, trying to make eye contact to this girl, who seemed more focused on her coffee than at anything else. The last, but not least, girl that came in, seemed quite bright. Stepping into the room with a smile, she asked if the room that she was in was the green homeroom. As Jem was getting a bit bored of having to speak with everyone that came into the room, he plainly grinned and waved at the girl.
When Gavin announced that he would not be leaving until the end of the homeroom period, Jem expressed his glee by saying "Yay, guys! Gavin's staying!" to pretty much the whole entire class. He then turned to more directly respond to Gavin. "Nice to meet you, too," Jem said, smiling. Though the boy's attention quickly changed to focus on the newcomer: a blond kid who seemed to be quite calm and collected. He slipped into the room while not even introducing himself. Well, not saying anything, really. He strode over to the Dr. House, and just cooly stood next to him. It was as if he knew him. Little did Jem know that the boy actually did. Gavin also focused his attention onto this person, and started a conversation with the blond. A girl who had slipped out of Jem's sight when she came into the room asked who this new kid was. Jem certainly couldn't answer. Soon thereafter, two other young men came into the room. One of them seemed to be helping the other around, teaching him about the ways of the school. As they made there way over to the desks in the way back, Jem watched particularly the boy with the gray eyes. Jem didn't know why, but he seemed interesting. He was talking to the scene girl, asking about her crayons. Realizing that he was staring, the little ball of energy changed this gaze into a smile and greeting that seemed to be a bit more normal. Once Jem made eye contact with the wise boy, this smile turned even brighter. Though this genuine moment was disturbed once House threw his blow up hammer at the groggy girl, causing Jem to laugh hysterically. To make matters even more exiting, another character jumped into the room, holding his bag up and crying loudly about making a shield to protect themselves from their hostile teacher. As a natural instinct of his eccentric manner, Jem's reaction was to jump behind the boy with the barrier backpack, crouching to the point where his head was peaking slightly over the boy's shoulder. Having a bright idea (well, at least to him it was), Jem took the pack of Skittles that he had received from Reign, ripped it open, and threw it over this shoulder. Tiny candies flew everywhere as Jem shouted "BOMBS AWAY!", while laughing, quite satisfied with himself. Oh, Jem. When would he ever calm down?
