tab For a summer day, it was pretty damn hot. That was for certain. It could be the fact that the guy who had a complaint about it was from less sunny area that commonly had an immediate ocean breeze available. Another complaint could have been the fact that he had to travel from one side of the country to the other. It was a long way from home where the guy had lived since he was a child. Born in South Carolina, the guy in question should have been used to sunny weather as scorching as it was today. But then again, the state he was now in was always well known for their sunny skies, beautiful women and beaches. Yup, the guy by the name of Chase Summers had finally made his way onto the campus of the University of California and the weather was hot. Not hot enough that he would want to take his top off, but hot enough that he regretted wearing underarmor underneath his button down tee. Today was just a sea of issues and complaints from the start. Hopefully, the finish would be something better then the plane ride here which had him seated next to some prepubescent kid listening to old school N*Sync.

tab He had to plug his own earpiece clips over his ears and zone out to his own music to cope with the Lance Bass wannabe next to him. Enough about the plane ride over though, Chase was now presented with an even bigger situation. The campus of UC? Oh yeah. It was bigger than he expected. An eyebrow rose as the taxi he had paid for started to drive away after Chase had taken everything he brought with him out of the taxi. It was simply just a strategically filled backpack with a ton of his clothes rolled up to save space and his dress clothes folded up in a less sloppily arranged form. That way when he unraveled it, it wouldn't be as wrinkly or full of creases everywhere. He's still most likely have to iron it, but oh well. It would be worth it if whatever event he had to wear it to was worth all the hype. Looking around him as he stood on the sidewalk a few feet away from the pavement where he started, Chase lowered his eyebrows. The sight of some female dancing around with earplugs fitted in her ears and Selena Gomez blasting from her MP3 was mildly concerning. Wasn't she still in her teens or something?

tab Avoiding any possible looks or attention brought to himself from his curious eyes, Chase found himself walking in the direction of the concrete path in front of him. This same path leading him further and further into the sea of students around him walking around and talking to one another. A few girls looked his way to which he exchanged glances momentarily. But it was him who broke contact and had not desire to reconnect the gaze. He had bigger things to do then to socialize or flirt with women right off the bat. Like, oh, here's one. Trying to find out where the hell to go. Sure, it was Chase's fault and his fault alone that he arrived late since his plane did have a few layovers and he had to switch flights. But, That was no excuse as to why he wasn't given clearer cut instructions and a map of where to go one-hundred percent pinpoint. There was only so much guessing and debating you could have in your head from having to print out a paper telling you minor instructions.Like Google Maps, Chase wished there was a Google College. That way he could easily navigate the damn place easier without having to ask.

tab Thank god whoever paved this place has the smarts to guide the concrete path straight towards the front doors of the main central building. As Chase approached the doors and soon walked in, he made sure to take a look at the piece of paper he procured from his pocket. Unfolding this same paper and looking at the printed words and text while avoiding the excess printed imagery and logos that was on the web page he was led to print out. Now that he knew he was in the right place, Chase folded up the paper once more and readjusted the backpack strap over his right shoulder for comfort. He made his way further down the hall until he had found the receptionist desk and put on a fake happy, eager attitude about his arrival to the college. Internally just wanting to gag and get all this clothing off and change into something much more comfortable as far as his top wear was concerned. Until then however, he would listen to the woman give him tips and instructions while handing him a welcome bag full of crap.

tab Thirty minutes later and having to talk to a series of people, Chase was finally entered into the system for good. Of course a photograph had to be taken of his face so that they could most likely apply it to a Student ID card. No doubt the official card of the college used to get into places and basically be the college equivalent of a State ID. Whatever. He was told when the cards would be issued and the dormitory where he would be spending his days and nights as far as living quarters were concerned. Shoving the bag of pamphlets, college class catalogs and other random college related articles of reading in his backpack, Chase apparently had reading material now. Fantastic. He did however keep out the pamphlet for the academics and football seasons since that would be the area of expertise that he would be conquering. No doubt about it, the years of playing football since he was in upper elementary school really paid off. His body proved it. His mind proved it. His strength, endurance, speed, jumping and carrying skill proved it. Chase was built and modeled to play football. It was destiny that he would play for a college.

tab Which meant in this case, UC was about to get rocked by Chase's dedication to his skilled position at Tight End. A position he held all his life and a position he would continue into his Freshman year and beyond. He had pride in his skills in a Tight End and had no hesitations to prove to the First and Second string players just what he was made of. He was going to climb the strings and make the team, no doubt about it. But until he would take to the football field and truly show his stuff, he had to get comfortable first. With the dorm. With his roommate. With the college overall and of course, with whatever fraternity he found himself pledging to. He had to strategize which one he would go to and think of the advantages and disadvantages of his decision. He had to weigh the odds and he would ultimately have to make that decision on his own, in his own peace and quiet. He didn't fall for peer pressure. He didn't take well to threats and he certainly wasn't going to get played for a fool. He understood that he was a Freshman and that the freshman always got preyed upon by the upper class. But not him.

tab He wasn't going to be bullied around, told what to do or perceived as a b***h just because he didn't know his way around. Oh no, he would definitely find himself around this place. He would learn about all the fast routes to get to his classes and he would be curious enough to venture to other parts of the college. Any room. Every hallway. Any sorority or fraternity house. Every nook and cranny that suited his needs. He would find it. He would remember it. He would always keep it in mind and he would never forget. Freshman either sank or swam during their first month in college. He might be a guppy in a school full of sharks. But no doubt that guppy would evolve into a beast that would know his way around and would make a name for himself. No doubt about it. Walking back down the hallway from which he came and readjusting the strap over his shoulder once more, Chase headed back to the same set of doors he entered earlier. Now exiting them and walking back outside to the burning sunlight, Chase figured he might as well walk around a bit more and get a feel of the look and feel for the scenery of the campus.

tab He was happy that he wasn't wearing anything that would truly expose his real skills or inner personality. He had an exterior that he allowed people to see as a wall of defense, then he had his inner clockwork that held his true feelings and emotions. His exterior was intimidating, partially emotionless. A gently closed left fist while his right hand kept grip on his backpack strap. Watch adorned on his left wrist while he wore no necklaces or earrings. Not even a tattoo. Chase's clothing right now was casual and presentable, yet good looking and reasonably fashionable. Despite his athletic shoes which cost him a pretty penny due to the support and qualities the shoes had to cushion his feet. Yes, even Dr. Scholl's massaging gel inserts just for shits and giggles. Continuing to walk around the concrete pathways, Chase managed to come across what looked like a black metal bench that was bolted to the ground from each leg. Walking over to the bench and seating himself down, Chase slipped his backpack off his back and laid it across his lap. Soon sliding out the athletics pamphlet from his pocket and starting to read.

                                                                          User Image

It was really odd knowing that she was three hours behind New York right now. The worst part was when she landed. It had taken her staring at the same clock for ten minutes to remember that New York and California were in two different time zones. It had been something else, three people had stopped to ask her if she was alright or needed help with anything. A raised eyebrow and the tiniest hint of anger had sent said people running in the opposite direction. So what if she had woken up early and the flight didn't help any? She was allowed to be slow first thing in the morning.

Upon arriving at the college, she'd tracked down her dorm room and began unpacking. She didn't miss the booths that she'd passed on the way to the dorm. A few were setting up, while others looked like they'd been set up previously. Glancing at her alarm clock, Jai figured that they would all be set up by now. Making it the perfect time to go check out the different sororities that thrived here and maybe a club or two. She'd been on and off her phone checking out Pinterest and Twitter all morning. Clicking her tongue, she checked her phone, raising an eyebrow at the random person who had tweeted her. Apparently sororities even took to twitter when it came to recruiting. She didn't mind though, most of her unpacking was done and she was planning on checking them out anyways. First stop was Alpha Gamma Delta, with a few side trips to check out some of the hot guys she passed by, She was only human, after all!

All that was left to do was unpack the boxes that she had marked with 'X's before moving across the country. With her side nearly spotless, she didn't need to move anything to make sure it was out of her roommates way. She actually hadn't seen the woman since coming into the room. It was like she'd dispersed and had yet to come back out of the woodwork. It would probably help to pay more attention to the girl. They would be living together for the school year. She wasn't sure how it worked once they got into a sorority.

A sigh escaped as Jaiden stood from her spot on the floor, stretching her arms up above her head to work out any of the kinks that had set in. She figured now was probably the best time to go check out those booths and look for that Alpha Gamma Delta chick who'd tweeted her. Slipping into her shoes, she made sure her keys, wallet, headphones, and phone were all with her before exiting the room. After locking the door she pulled her phone out, plugging in her headphones. Lyrics from 'Boys in the summer' by Jessie James spilled out of her headphones. "The reason for July's skinny dipping and checking out tan lines, making out underneath the moonlight..."The words slipped from her mouth in a singing-mumble as she placed one of the buds in her ear, allowing the other to hang down.

                                                                        "speech"

The drive from her home in Sacramento wasn’t really all that bad, about an hour. The young woman listened to music for her journey, her phone plugged into the auxiliary port on her car’s stereo system so she had access to her playlist. Everything she needed to live was in the back of her car, which surprisingly, wasn’t as much as she thought she would need. Bryarly Corcoran was getting ready to start her freshman year of college and she was scared shitless to be quite honest. This was the point in her life where she found out if she was cut out for her dream job. Today was the day that she was going to pledge herself to the sorority that her mother was in, which her mother never let her forget. Her mother had always wanted her little girl to follow in her footsteps, but Bry wasn’t sure that she wanted that. She did promise to try however, and she always kept her promises. She just hopped the girls like her, and that the hazing wasn’t too bad. Tapping out the beat to the song that was currently playing, Bryarly turned into the parking lot of what would be her home for the year.

After getting her room key from the front desk and finding her room, Bry set forth unpacking her side of the room. The room was small, but she could make it work, she didn’t need much. When the girl determined that her portion of room was sufficiently decorated to her taste and all of her clothes and books were neatly arranged she sat cross-legged on her bed and checked her phone. Throughout the unpacking phase she had been tweeting another freshman, so she had a reply to send out. ‘I should probably text Levi too…’ she thought to herself. About two summers ago Bryarly was checking out a new anthropology exhibit at the science museum in Berkeley, it was there that she had run into Levi, who was now one of her closest friends. She told him everything, well, almost everything. It would be nice having an older friend here at school. Bry knew that she could go to him if she needed help with something, and he’d be there for her.

                                              To: Levi :3
Good afternoon! c: I just finished unpacking. Going to meet another freshman, and then I’ll be swinging by the Greeks. So…I will be seeing you. It’s been too long! Is it weird if I hug you? That going to damage your rep at all? Hahah. I’m just messing with you. Anyway…see you soon!

Bryarly sent her usual long and drawn out text. She has be informed many times that text talk was a perfectly acceptable thing to do, but it just seemed wrong to her. She preferred her long-winded and multiply characters style of texting. “Time to go make friends.” Bryarly said to the empty room. She was certain that her roommate would be here sooner or later, so she might as well give her the space to get her things together also. The young woman slipped on her shoes and headed back out into the maze that was the university campus ready to locate @ChasingSummer, or rather Chase.

Bryarly spent a good half an hour looking around before she located the one bench on campus that Chase had been talking about. The young man had said that he wasn’t sure where he was, but if he was lost, he sure showed no sign of it. Cool as a cucumber is a phrase that came to mind when Bryarly saw Chase Summers sitting along on a bench reading a pamphlet. The female approached cautiously, not wanting to seem like a weird person for asking to meet. Bry wasn’t socially awkward to the point that she had no friends, but she was picky when it came to who she spent her time with. She preferred a certain type of person, so branching out was a new thing for her. “Uhm, hey. I’m Bryarly, and I hope that you’re Chase. I mean, you look like your picture, but if it’s not you then this is really weird…” she said, trailing off at the end. Looking down at her feet and then glancing up Bry noticed the pamphlet that Chase was reading. “So, football huh? I mean, I assume…from the pamphlet. I really have no clue at all about football. My brother played in high school, but I’ve never really understood the game to be honest.”

tab Honestly, reading the pamphlet related to football and athletics was mildly entertaining. It didn't suit his real entertainment value nor did it cure his boredom. But then again, he was just taking a break for now to relax and enjoy the scenery for once. As far as he knew, his roommate could have easily already moved in and set his stuff up, to which Chase would most likely have to see just what the guy was like. Most likely size up the guy or judge his style or character based upon his looks. Of course Chase wasn't one for being racist or brutally profiling of people. But he could certainly tell a slut from a sweetheart and a douche from a dork. He wasn't that stupid. Then again, he has been wrong before. He'd never admit to it. He'd probably just say something less emotional such as 'whoops' or something equally as unemotional. But at least for the here and now, people were walking by him that he could easily possibly see in a classroom. Maybe even on e of them being his roommate and he didn't even know. Either way, Chase would soon take out his phone and check his Twitter which seemed to be pretty popular today.

tab After he chose to go to UC over Twitter and even hashtagged the college in a Tweet or two, Chase had since then been Tweeting other members of the college. Mostly Seniors and Juniors who were from some pledge called Phi Kappa Tau and who seemed to be a rowdy bunch. He had joined in their little trend of Tweeting topless pictures of themselves just to entertain women. He simply did it just because he figured he'd get a reaction out of it. That, and he was pretty damn proud of his body and how muscular and fit it was. Toned and attractive. Handsome and athletic. Yeah, he had a reason to show it off and his confidence was pretty sky high because of that. However, it was until he ended up Tweeting a new person over Twitter named Bryarly that he kinda' tapered down on posting the topless pics. Not because she didn't seem to like it. As a matter of fact, she seemed a bit taken back and surprised by it. He was just now tapering down because he felt as if he had made his point. That, and he had already posted two of his best pictures already. Anymore pictures and he could come off as over-excessive.

tab With the thought of Bryarly in mind, Chase typed out a few more Tweets before the two would make the decision to meet up somewhere. Honestly, he had no clue where he was on an exact pinpoint location. But he did know that if he gave Bryarly some worthwhile clues or relative locations, she might connect the dots. Then again, maybe she wouldn't come and she would end up getting sidetracked or something. Who knows. It wasn't like Chase to expect anything from anyone. Which was why he hated pranks and being pulled a joke upon because of the unfair randomness of it. That, and he just hated pranks period. Why would he pull a prank on someone else, when he hated them himself. Do unto others, as you would yourself, after all. Deciding that he wouldn't need to use his phone much for awhile, Chase pressed a button to 'lock' his phone and shoved his phone back in his pocket for safe keeping. Now, Chase once more drew attention back upon the pamphlet in hand and continued to read the history facts about the sports teams of the college. Thinking one day, he could very well set some records.

tab It had only taken him a good five minutes to re-read the pamphlet front and back to take in every word the pamphlet had to say. It was already ingrained in his mind that he was going to join the football team and he was going to make it to the top spot for the Tight End position. No doubt about it. Even if he had to beat the others Tight Ends that were there before him in a practice or scrimmage. He wouldn't cut corners. He wouldn't take the easy way out. No. He would pure and simple show off his skills and prove to them why he deserved that top spot with all the years of football he's had under his belt. Uhm, hey. I’m Bryarly, and I hope that you’re Chase. I mean, you look like your picture, but if it’s not you then this is really weird. Hmm? Oh! Chase's thoughts were distracted as he looked up at the rather sweet looking face of the female that he had been Tweeting earlier. The faces definitely matched and the voice was rather cute. But that was typical for anyone who had her looks. Now that he knew her looks and took the time to take it all in, Chase would now focus on her personality with a conversation.

tab "Yup, you found me. No weirdness included. Just seeing each other for the first time. In person. Not behind a cell phone screen" Chase replied. To appear friendly and give off an inviting look, Chase looked up at her and let a faint smile form on his lips. One that was meant to insure that he would be giving her attention and not ignore her for the pamphlet that was in his hands. Such a pamphlet that Bryarly soon took notice of. So, football huh? I mean, I assume…from the pamphlet. I really have no clue at all about football. My brother played in high school, but I’ve never really understood the game to be honest. Oh? Well she came to the right person to learn about football, that was for sure. But he'd have to know how little she knows about the sport so he doesn't treat her like she's young and dumb and knows not a lick about it. "Football, indeed. I've been playing the sport ever since I was in upper elementary school. Just kinda' came as a natural born talent. I intend to sign up for the football team and work my way up. You'll most likely see me on the football field everyday to be honest" he replied.

                                                                            User Image

"When our friends talk about you, all it does is just tear me down. My heart breaks a little," piano pauses, "when I hear your name."

Last semester of sophomore year and Ethan could still well remember waking up an hour after midnight with a small square-ish light coming off from the corner on the other bed. 'Working Muscles, Equipment, Target Ability,' he spied Darren sweating on some video he needed to finish for his early morning class. Aah, hence the reason why the party boy avoided in such a passion all these mind-wrecking schedules. It was tragic. Not only that it was butt-annoying but he worried for his good friend about his band performance due tomorrow.

Who could have guessed that the vocalist of A Moment's Notice would belt out his chords with one eye open? Least he did great on his project but what of for the fame and fortune for his growing band? "It all just sounds like... Ooooh hoo hooooh~"

Right before Darren's first song ended, E made his entrance from the side of the stage, all suited up, the enchanting smile on his face never went missing. With a microphone at hand, the rock transitioned into something more mellow, the musician behind the organ shifted the heavy tunes to lighter ones. Then seated in the middle of the spotlight, it gave the younger vocalist a chance to take a quick exit and perhaps wash his face with water or drown himself in cans of Monster Energy Drink. Complete with hand gestures and facial emotions, it looked as if he was about to get teary-eyed. "Now, my baby's dancing, but she's dancing with another man. Although it hurts, I'll be the first to say that I was wroooong~" Stretching his arm forward for the highest keys, he pulled his head back to reach it. "Ooh I know I'm probably much too late to try and apologize for my mistakes, but I just want you to know... ooh OH OOH~"

As he randomly spotted the most beautiful girl in Alpha Gamma Delta, one that originally came to listen to a louder genre with atrocious guitar chords and drum beats, he grinned at her wickedly before putting back the solemn things in his eyes, "Do all the things I should've done... when I was your man~"

That was the last of it before he stood and Darren re-entered the stage, refreshed with a brand new type of energy derived from artificial sugar.

                    [ Time Skippy ]

It was during the nicest hour at swim tryouts when all the cool kids were talking about that latest movie Marvel put out-- Captain America 2. Ethan, for one, was the haughty [and crazy] child standing [and posing] atop the diving board, imitating Steve Rogers himself and screaming that Miss America [from that Miss Congeniality movie] has the hots for him. Doing a flip and then a butterfly towards the edge of the pool, he points the rookies and states to them that that's how it's done. It was in all good fun until he realized that every freshman attended sucked.

Putting his palm over his brows, his fingertips reached his left temple and his thumb on his right. This looks terrible. What a way to start the year, he thought. Since the beginning of his college life, he already hungered to be Swim Captain and now that he finally has it, all of his subordinates are such losers, not to even mention that these are the ones that 'technically have' potential. To make matters far worse, his childhood friend Lexi Daniel bashed him on Twitter for entering the better team-- Avengers-- on public social media.

"We'll continue this tomorrow," he put his right hand up, his biceps illuminating from the sun's sparkle that bounced off the pool water's magnificence-- supposedly, after he tossed his iPhone back to his sports bag-- stupid Twitter. Now turning to his teammates, he gave them a threatening eye, reminding them to get more splendid applicants, and those who can actually swim fast-- just because they know how not to drown does not make them qualified varsity competitors.

After showering, he retrieved his widget once more and sent a text message to a girl that belonged to Alpha Gamma Delta.

Anyway, you might want to check the rough draft of the Social Calendar I made. You probs want to get your hands on it for revisions.
                    Just a suggestion.

                    You missed tryouts.
Nah. Actually, you didn't miss anything.

With his sports bag slung around his shoulder, he began trudging down to the streets of Berkely. Aah, the surroundings filled with chill air, freshmen newbs everywhere. Spotting one pair not so far ahead, cooped up in the comfort of one common, shiny black university bench, he saw a guy with a flyer at hand, chatting it up with a girl. With a smirk on his face and a shake of his head, he could easily recall how the babes desired to make friends as fast as they could, in fear of being left out. The bar of peer pressure never went low.

As he moved on, he soon met with the steps of the great Kappa Tau fort. Standing there, he took the moment to fill his lungs with its beauty, fresh meat would be pledging for them soon enough, and last but not least, the lack of Tristian Gibson's presence-- likely he'd be in some chick's bed. Hopefully, he won't get into a blind spot and have intercourse with a dirty feline infected by Sexually Transmitted Disease... or ADHD. Hold that thought-- all of them are dirty, and mostly you can't see it in their clothes because they have an ace housekeeper. Unfortunately, their secrets aren't all that difficult to discover. No matter, he hoped his brother was well.

Now marching through the front door and ending up by the living room sofa, he took hold of that wide white board filled with doodles and squabbles. This, my friends, is his very much organized Social Calendar. Now, to wait for their mighty leader to show up and start doing what it is that they do during the beginning of Rush Week.

The heat was something Lindsey Peters was accustomed too. Texas had heat, and it had stench. California was a nice change of pace. The stench was that of too much cologne that made girls' knees weak and the salty water of the San Fransisco bay; all things she could get used too. The heat was different too, less humid, more dry, it's was definitely nice. She was a fan of heat, probably in every sense of the word, but especially the summer heat. She'd been in this summer heat for a week now, living with her father and trying to learn about herself and her life, but she hadn't gotten anywhere. It was frustrating, really, but she got to explore the San Fran area, as well, so that was a plus. She went shopping and, although her father and her weren't close, he bought her new clothes, clothes that made her look like she belonged. She didn't belong, and Lindsey knew that. She was very familiar with the feeling, but at least here she could pretend.

UC Berkeley's campus had been next to empty the few days leading up to move in day, so that helped the blonde sort of figure her way around. With all the students walking around, though, it made things a little harder. She had a general idea of where she was supposed to be and where she should be going, but if one didn't know where they started, how did they know where to end? Luckily, her father had pulled some strings and they allowed her to move her stuff into the dorm room the day before. Lindsey's sure it cost him a little extra money, but money is apparently not a problem in his new life. Yes, it's been 17 years since him and her mother had been together, but she would've thought he would've been considerate enough to attempt and help them out.

She'd gotten half of her things unpacked, but had gotten bored, so she left. It wasn't like her roommate would be there until today, anyway, so the mess was for her eyes and her eyes alone... assuming her roommate hadn't already shown up. She had gotten an email over the summer telling her the name of the person she would be living with, and she was pretty sure it reminded her of a guy's name... or a guy having the girl name. Anyway, Lindsey thinks it's a very pretty name, she just can't remember it. Not that she'll be living with this roommate for very long. Lindsey has... an ultimatum of sorts. She has to become way more social then she is (a real feat, really), and her father suggested she do it in the most logical way to meet a lot of people in one sitting; join a sorority. Now, Lindsey is a different kind of girl. She loves to wear dresses and heels, like, every day, but she loves to watch sports, play sports, coach sports, or just have sports in her life. That's why she's majoring in Sports Med, but that's also why she can be in a sorority.

Don't get me wrong, Lindsey doesn't know the first thing about sororities except for the stereotypes that you see in every single movie. She knows those are real portrayals of sororities and fraternities, though. She's not stupid. She does know that some of them do fit those stereotypes, but she's praying that those girls aren't here at Berkeley. She is from Texas, though, so she'll have to figure it out with first-hand experience. For now, she just needed to find her dorm.

And soon enough, the blonde did. Those few days of figuring out the campus actually did help, and it wasn't too difficult to find where she lived. Lindsey walked into the building and headed to the second floor where her room reside. Maybe she'd be able to meet her roommate! She was actually pretty excited to meet someone new, and she figured if they were roommates they had to get along. Right? There was a blonde standing in front of the door of her room and although she'd never met the girl before and had forgotten her name earlier, it all clicked and she knew exactly who she was. And she remembered her name! She was mumbling something to herself, but Lindsey was sure it was the music she could faintly hear coming out of her headphones. Smiling at the girl, the blonde walked towards her and stopped in front of her.

"Hi! I'm sort of hoping your Jaiden, or else this will be awkward. Even if you're not, I'm Lindsey. 204 is room... and maybe your room?" Lindsey stuck her hand out for the other woman to shake before she gripped her phone. "Are you heading to the booths around campus? Do you maybe want to go together?" Lindsey had planned on unpacking the rest of her stuff, but she did want to get to the Alpha Gamma Delta booth before the day was over, and if she could go with someone, especially her roommate, that was better than going alone.

Darkness. Nothing heightened the senses more than sheer darkness. But nothing obscured the darkness like silence and the sound of your heart pumping away at full speed. She felt the cold sweat beading on her back and forehead, her breath raged as her hands splayed themselves over what seemed to be a cold hard surface. The taste of iron lingered on her tongue from an earlier mishap that resulted with her biting her own lip. A frustrated sigh escaped her lips, the laughter of an audience audible in the distance. s**t. She cursed at herself as she felt her way around. Her foot carefully felt out an obstruction in front and she gingerly avoided it, focusing all her attention on her sense of touch and hearing. In the back of her mind she swore out the friend who had dragged her to pledge but decided to ditch her the day before. She was beyond furious about the situation and being robbed of her sight was definitely not something she signed up for. The stench of rotten meat suddenly intruded her nostrils and she clasped her hands quickly over her mouth and nose to keep from gagging. This was all a sick joke but the worse part of it all was she didn’t know why she wasn’t running for the hills. Instead she felt a sense of pride at stake, her adrenaline pushing through her better common sense.

Suddenly the scene switched and she was practically shoved into a chair. Her hands were tied and so were her feet. The blindfold was loosened and it fell dejectedly onto her lap. Her eyes met a flash of bright light and focused in on the shadowed faces surround her, all with a grin so evil she thought she landed herself in some sick paranormal joke. A voice called out from the crowd but she couldn’t make out the face with the bright light behind it. A spoon met her lips and she recoiled slightly from the unfamiliar smell. A command was given sternly and she opened her mouth hesitantly to allow entrance to the mystery food.

Without warning her head was met with an incredible pull, forcing her eyes to fly open in a flurry. She jumped slightly in her chair from the sudden awakening and met the eyes of curious classmates and a very confused professor. Alexis, are you ok?” His monotone voice inquired. Alexis rendered a weak smile and nodded before fixing herself in her seat. It took her a few seconds to realize she had dozed off to the lulling voice of her business ethics professor and subsequently drifting off into dreamland about her pledging days. Must have been all the sleepless nights preparing for rush week. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath to calm herself before picking up her pencil and scribbling down some notes.

The next forty minutes passed by slowly and Alexis found herself forcing herself the stop checking the time. But the moment she sensed the shuffling of notebooks and zippers she was just as ready to march out of class. But to be courteous to the professor she packed her things at a relaxed speed and waited for a few other classmates to trickle of out the door before she stood up and made her way to the exit. Shifting the weight of her pack on her shoulders she waved a friendly farewell to the professor as well as some passing classmates before she stepped out of the stuffed building. Students shifted past her as she pulled out her phone from her back pocket. Quickly unlocking it to turn off some notices she suddenly remembered something. Her lips curled into a smirk as her fingers typed out a message.

There was no way she was letting her childhood friends live any moment down. Not like she didn't do a good job at that from putting down Ethan's Captain ego on Twitter. Oops~ Maybe she should apologize for that later..maybe. After hitting send she slipped her phone back into her back pocket and shielded her eyes from the scorching sun. She still couldn't believe she forgot her sunglasses this morning as she trudged down the building steps. Why she had class on move-in day was beyond her as well. She just remembered receiving an email from the professor about a mandatory orientation class to the topics that will be discussed. Completely a waste of time and she was glad she wasn't the only one that internally hit herself for not ditching. Allison must be restless waiting for her arrival but she wasn't going to be super late anyways right? In the midst of quickly dropping down her stuff in her new room, she didn't even get a chance to see Roxanne, her new roomie's face, the whole day. Again she wondered what must have gone through her professor's head when he sent out that email. Sighing she turned left and walked down one of the many paths on campus.

If someone said something about young people being dependent on technology, she was not making a good case for herself. As she weaved through the concrete path of campus she was on her phone once again, one to send a text off to Roxanne and Allison and two because her twitter was blowing up. She managed to type a quick message to her room mate and her president:

                                                        To: Roxanne

But I will catch you later by the booths before meeting up Allison!

                                                        Love you~!

Sent and sent. Her fingers worked quickly and she looked up between every word to make sure she wasn't going to run into anyone. Finally she brought her attention back to her twitter feed and felt a sort of tingly giddiness ignite within her. Bry, a freshman she was exchanging frequent emails with was chatting about meeting some other dude around campus. Black metal bench.. She thought to herself before shoving her phone back into her pocket. If she wasn't mistaken, there was a little pathway with some black benches dotting the side. Excited with the thought of finally meeting a potential pledge face to face she held onto her pack straps and quickened her pace.

A few turns and waving to passing classmates later she spotted her first black bench with no one around it. Her eyes traveled forward along with her feet until they landed on the second bench. Ah, now that one was occupied by one blonde dude and a girl standing in front of him. She squinted her eyes at the two unfamiliar faces until the girl made a small movement to turn her head towards her. If her face to picture matching skills were still intact, that must be Bryarly. Her steps quickened until she finally reached the two freshmen, obviously putting guesses at her companion's year. When she was a mere three steps away from the two she paused and waited for their conversation to end before raising a hand. "I'm sorry to interrupt but..." She turned her gaze to the girl in question, "Bryarly Corcoran? I'm Alexis Daniel, Sigma Phi Event Coordinator! I believe we've been exchanging emails." Excitement seeped through her every word and not to be discourteous her introduction was also extended to the boy sitting on the bench. When she extended her hand towards him it hit her. This must be the Chase Summer on Twitter that Bry was meeting up with.. She smiled warmly at him. "Alexis Daniel. You guys can call me Lex or Lexi. It's great to see some fresh faces around here." Her gaze took in the pamphlet in Chase's hands, "I'm making my way over to the booths before a meeting. Care to join?" She asked nudging her shoulder in the direction she was going to take.

The seemingly empty bed in the middle of the fraternity bedroom moved. The covers shifted suspiciously. A light giggle escaped from underneath and a hand clamped over the mouth that made the noise. "Yeah, dude, I'll see you at the booths," the source of the hand spoke to his roommate that was standing at the door. He didn't suspect a thing and just nodded before heading out. A relieved sigh was heard as a little blonde head popped out from under the covers. It was early morning and the pretty young thing should probably be off doing her vice president duties instead of just waking up. "Is he gone?" Cammie spoke up, a teasing smile spreading across her face. She leaned in toward the handsome, tall male and kissed his lips. "Yeah, yeah," he said before quick, small kisses. [********, did he go to the booths? Is it that time already?" She bursted as she jumped from the bed, no care about not being dressed. She searched anxiously around the room to collect her clothing from the previous night. It was a quick get together for some of the fraternities and sororities to celebrate rush week. Of course, it wasn't a big event but Cameron West never missed a social gathering. Especially if there would be hot boys. "Yeah, babe, why?" The male asked, lounging in his bed. He had no important position in his frat so he could stay in bed all he wanted. "Tyler! You should of told me!" She shrieked, grabbing her heels in her hands. "Sorry to kiss and diss." She smiled sweetly, laying one last kiss on his lips. She had known this boy, now identified as Tyler, for her entire sophomore year. He was a good friend and they fooled around on lonely occasions. He was a nice guy but things were never going to get serious. He just wasn't that type of person.. unfortunately.

Cammie, with heels in hands, sprinted from the house. Despite not being an athlete currently, this girl could move! Since most the sororities and fraternities were located on the same street, she just had to sneak through the bushes through most the houses. She had done this "Walk of Shame" before so it had become more of a "Stride of Pride". Most the college students had become accustomed to this and still had a warm heart to this ditzy, sweet girl. Her reputation preceded her for sleeping with many people but never once was she called "easy". You had to have skill and good looks to get her and it was always worth it, as she was known to say.

Pushing the sororities doors open, she slammed them behind her to run into her room. There was no time to mingle with the other girls. She was running a tad behind and she wanted to look cute for any prospective pledges. Who could blame her? So she ran into her room and start ripping through her drawers for clothing. It was hot as balls outside so she need she would be incredibly dressed down. She picked out some higher waisted shorts, her Alpha Gamma Delta pink tank, and a white bikini. If she got too hot, she could always strip down! No one would complain, that was for sure. In between changing and throwing s**t around, she clicked on her curling wand to fix up some of her curls that had lasted quite well from her "rough" night. Like a natural born girly girl, it didn't take her too long to clean her face, reapply make up, fix her hair, and get dressed. Her roommate, the president, was no where in site so she had probably already left to set up for the party.

Officially, the party was a "welcoming party" for the freshman, new pledges, and to kick off rush week. Unofficially, it would be a start to start hazing the pledges. Although illegal, some of the sororities and fraternities still practiced it around campus. It was always in great fun and never too harmful. There had been stories from other colleges around the state of dropping girls off in the middle of the night in the woods while blindfolded and guys having to shove hot dogs up their asses. In Berkeley, it was a bit more civilized... kind of.. The boys could get pretty out of control but it was never too mean. For the girls, it would involve things like making out with certain boys, flashing, and not wearing make up for a day. Even though Alpha Gamma Delta had a bad image for being wild party girls, they still had that good-natured side to them. Confidence, not arrogance, was a very important trait for the new pledges.

"If I even get there on time.." Cammie mumbled to herself, throwing the essentials into her purse. She made sure to scan her phone quickly for any updates. No text messages screaming at her for being late, thankfully. A dumb freshman talking about hazing. How could he be so bone-headed? Yes, it was true, she wasn't the smartest thing around. After the Allison incident, Liv had explained the true danger of talking about it. Money for the houses being cut back, half the events cancelled, no rush week, and some people could get kicked out of college. Everyone's hard work would go to waste and no one wanted that. Especially since the president and event coordinator for every house was setting up for the welcoming party right at that moment. Cammie, thinking herself the heroin, typed a reply to him that may come off a bit harsh. She was tagging both the freshman involved and addressing anyone who had done it or planned on doing it, including Allison. Still, Cammie had no idea what the hell she was getting herself into.

Throwing her phone in her bag, she slipped into her sandals. Finally, she was ready with her pink lips, cute outfit, and bouncy curls. She could already tell it was going to be a good day. Walking quickly out her room and out the house, she tried to keep a brisk pace to get to the booths quickly. The VP and the freshman recruiter were suppose to be standing at the booths and getting pledges. Luckily, the rest of the house set up the booth, it was there responsibility to stand there, look pretty, and get people. Cammie was running a bit late but not to the point of carelessness or flightiness. As she got closer, she relaxed a bit and allowed her eyes to roam. She felt her phone buzz in her purse. She pulled it out and saw the reply from the freshman. His reply was... surprising to say the least. Instead of reacting more positively and have as much pride for the school as he did, he didn't give a ******** what happened to the houses. She sure hoped he didn't plan on pledging. s**t would get hard for him. Exasperated, she sent back a reply. Her anger was raising and raising to the point of boiling. Still, she took a few breaths and slowed her walking to a halt. When she felt more comfortable, she shot a quick text to Liz.

Clicking, send, she smiled contently and slipped her phone in her bag. It was easy to distract her from the bag s**t. As she got closer to the booths and began to merge with the crowd, Cammie kept an eye out for pretty girls to grab. As creepy as it sounds, she did want to begin recruiting as soon as possible. Most the girls were decent but none stood out with that "star quality". During her freshman year, she was grabbed by the president and forced to join. Cammie was a blooming flower at that point. A little bit more awkward but still as sweet and daft. She looked good and she had been snatched right off the sorority market. While looking, instead of finding hot girls, she found the opposite: Hot Guys. They were everywhere! Maybe they were a year or so younger but they were good looking. And tall! She gushed in her head, fighting the urge to reach other to pinch some of their tone asses. She was not good at resisting temptation. The sight of a tall, dark, handsome male that looked a bit lost grabbed her attention.

"Hi there," Cam interrupted his lost haze and walked right in front of him. He looked a bit stunned she was talking to him and she ate him it up. She loved the positive attention and her ego needed it. "Are you planning on pledging?" She furthered the conversation, hoping he'd pledge for one of the houses close by to her. He nodded slowly, "Not sure which one.." A light sparked in her eye as she got a devious plan. "Well, do I got the perfect frat for you!" She squealed happily, taking his arm in an escort kind of way. As they walked, Cammie chattered enthusiastically. She introduced herself and found out his name was Sam. He was 6"3 and incredibly handsome. She felt her body heating up more than the normal level and, trust me, it wasn't the heat.

Arriving at the square set up of the four best houses, Cammie smiled happily. She loved all of them, excluding SPE most the time. Liv was convincing a hesitant freshman girl to pledge. She had this great way with words. Giving her a quick wave, Cammie also threw in a supportive smile and thumbs up when she unlinked her arm from Sam. Turning her back, she faced him again. "Right there is PKT and they work in close ties with my sorority. I think you would loveee it there! Go talk to the freshman recruiter. His name is Darren." Cammie explained, blowing a kiss to Darren behind him. A ding from her purse signaled a response on Twitter. "Oops, would you excuse me?" Cammie said politely. She had a bad feeling in her stomach about it and was slow about reading it. She wasn't that confrontational and she wasn't really understanding his exerted hostility. She just didn't want anyone in trouble! What the hell was his problem?

Cammie read over it all, biting her lip tremulously. She felt tears in the corners of her eyes appearing and she gulped a deep breath. Sniffling, she wiped her nose, looking around for the nearest source of comfort. Liv was still deep in conversation and Cam didn't want to interrupt with her problems. Plus, she didn't want to screw up the chance at getting a pledge and disappointing Nevada. Her eyes wandered to the other houses and she spotted Dexter by Sigma Pi. He was the ultra adorable vice president and she had the biggest puppy dog crush on him. He was just so sweet! He was perfect for this moment. Wiping the corners of her eyes, she held back the tears in fear of messing up her make up.

Cameron shifted through the passing group of people and approached his booth. She had a slight pout and was obviously was under duress. "Hey," he greeted her but it was quickly squashed when he realized her uncharacteristic facial expression. "What's wrong?" He asked, furrowing his eyebrows in worry. Hearing those words made her break and she felt a flood of emotions. "This a*****e on Twitter totally called me a whore and said I basically didn't earn the vice presidency and he was just being really, really mean." She blurted out speaking a hundred miles a minute. Her chest was heaving unnaturally and her face was flushed She didn't know whether she was pissed or depressed. Whatever the case, she threw her arms around Dexter and squished him in her embrace. She had bad anxiety and she was undergoing a bit of an attack. "What do I do?" She asked between gulps of air, wiping at her nose. I will not cry, I will not cry, She said to herself positively. She released Dexter and stood back, watching and waiting for a reply with her big doe-like eyes.

Loud music, too many people, booze bottles lined up along the long counter, clothes items scattered on the floor. Darren was in one big house party by the looks of it. He walked down the hallway observing the coke lines, the hook ups all going on, and ecstasy pills lying around. The place wreaked of pot, sweat, and puke, but the party was still going strong. Weaving through the clusters of group circles he made his way outside. Still just observing, he saw the supposed dance floor where the dj blasted his music. Looking just to the right of it was a pool, in it... people either fully clothed, topless, or who knows what.. "Where the hell am I?" Darren kept thinking to himself, as a random guy handed him a red Solo cup, with some dark liquid inside. It was too loud to hear anything the guy said, so Darren just nodded as a sign of thanks and kept going. He walked down the stairs until he was what seemed to be in the backyard. He turned around to see the house was almost the size of a Beverly Hills mansion. "Jeezus F**king Christ!" Darren muttered before placing the mysterious drink to the side. A two finger tap was felt on his right shoulder. He looked over the shoulder to see what looked like a girl standing there that was just a few inches shorter than he was. Her face was hidden from the darkness of the night. All he could see of her was a part of her tank top, her arms and her waist and an outline of her long legs and her hair. She was doing a sensual 'come here' gesture with her hand. Not knowing what he was going into, Darren tried to get closer to the girl. In the background he could hear the DJ speaking to the large crowd nearby. "Yeh! Yeh! Yeh! Great Night out here! Definitely Project X status out here tonight!! We're not stopping anytime soon. Can't Handle It, get the F*ck Out!!!" Darren managed to get closer to the girl calling him over, but as soon as the he was about to see what she looked like the music turned back up. This time, the music he heard was a familiar song just burst out randomly....his phone ringtone.

Darren jumped in his bed, hearing his Iphone going off and vibrating on the end table next to his bed. He sighed...realized his dream would probably never come to reality. Grabbing his phone, he checked to see who left a text for him that was soo important that morning. Irconically, it was from his frat roommate, Ethan.

                                              You missed tryouts.
Nah. Actually, you didn't miss anything.

"Missed Tryouts? For What?" Darren was confused to his buddy's text. He looked over to see the other bed in the room was empty...no body. He rubbed his hands on his face and tried to wake himself up. The sun beamed at an unusual angle compared to most mornings. Darren was still confused until he looked at his clock on the end table. It was already 2:15pm. "Damn I slept in for a while. Missed Swimmin with Ethan...forgot how much he hates working out alone," he muttered in a raspy, still waking-up tone. All he knew now was that he had 45 minutes to look fresh and get out to the frat booth for the start of Rush Week. His new role as Freshman Recruiter...did not need to already start screwing up, since he knew Grayson would most definitely chew him out for it. With that in mind, Darren got out of bed and went towards the bathroom for a shower. Lucky for him, he and Eth lived in one of the nicer rooms with a bathroom attached to it. no need for leaving the room to find a shower down the hallway like the rest of the members (with exception to the President's and Vice President's rooms)

Darren got into the shower, trying to remember all the things the former recruiter said to him last year before joining up. It was a matter of being outgoing this year...something he has not been good with in his entire life. Ever since elementary school, Darren has always had a shy side. It got better in middle school, hanging out with guy friends and what not, but as soon as a pretty girl was around, Darren was completely useless...he stuttered, his face as red as a tomato...not able to get out a 'hi' before the girl was gone. It happened in high school constantly...hence he was never able to get a girlfriend. Because of his shyness, Darren was not one who truly fit into the social norm of things at Rio Americano High School. The only thing that kept him slightly in the loop with all the popular kid activities was being on two sports teams...Soccer and Swim. Good in both sports, he managed to make a small name for himself and was able to get the popular world's attention. He got invited to plenty of after parties, to which he went...but ended up a wall flower at every single one, only staying for like an hour and leaving. In college, he was able to learn to mingle a little bit with help of meeting Ethan - who was also a swimmer, and much more outgoing. They made this plan to be each other's wingman when it came to greek parties, so they would help each other out in trying to get a girl to talk to them. Every now and then...who am I kidding, every time, Darren always got super shy and bailed at the last second. This year...that won't happen.

Darren finished his time in the shower and got out, changing into some tan shorts, his frat tank, and a matching snapback. Him and hats...he had a collection of them just as people have collections of Jordan's basketball shoes. He got all fresh looking, putting on some Old Spice body spray before putting on his red tank. Thank god, Grayson chose to have the PKT booth this year in the most shady spot this year. He would get majorly sun burnt otherwise lol. A lot of the things needed for the booth were already in his car out front of the frat house : mostly frat themed merchandise to giveaway, flyers of the greek events, and brochures about the Phi Kappa Tau fraternity...You know all the sugar coated things that parents need not to worry about their young college sons going into a major party frat in reality. Hey, his parents fell for it...well mom did at least. Even his dad was a PKT alum, so he knew the whole ordeal process, not letting Darren in on what to know ahead of time. His dad definitely played off the whole sugar coating that the recruiter's booth last year, but in the end, proud that Darren would continue the Crough legacy in the PKT fraternity.

Before he forgot, Darren responded to Ethan's earlier text...

Sorry for not getting up to swim with ya,
Hopefully you had no lady trouble in the water lol.
Goin out to the booth soon,
Come join whenever you and Gray are done planning the party tonight

After pressing send, Darren got a small list together of stuff he personally needed at the booth: Laptop, Speakers (in car), Iphone, Keys, Wallet, box of Free frat sh*t (car), Water Bottles (downstairs), Ice and Ice Chests (downstairs), Lawn Chairs for him and Tristian (car), Frat Info brochures (car), Greek Events throughout semester (car), Personal SuperSoaker (just in case) (car)...the list went on. Darren made sure he got whatever he missed and put it in his backpack. He was prepped to go with 20 minutes to spare. He made his way of out his bedroom and headed downstairs to meet with whoever was joining him to the booth. In the living room there were a couple of just normal PKT brothers waiting for him, as they were told if they wanted to come - be ready at 2:45. Darren made that clear to them, and there was a good turnout. He spoke to his brothers, ""Alright boys, thanks for helping out. God only knows where VP is at. We will meet him there, do a little kissing a** early this year, yeh. ". The group let out a small laugh among them. "So anyways, we need to use one of your cars to take the water and ice to the booth. I have the rest of the gear with me. I can fit one more, and the two of us will get started with setting everything up. The rest of you, go pack up the water bottles and ice, and meet us there. Take all of it. There's more water for the party later, but take all thats in the kitchen now. " The guys seemed to understand what they were supposed to do. Darren pointed to one of the guys in the group - he had muscles so he could lift some of the heavy stuff. "Alright, you're with me. The rest of you, see you at the booth."

Darren and the other guy walked out of the frat house and towards his Mitsubishi Lancer Evlution. He loved his car - sporty, fast, and could attract some ladies...eventually. The weather was definitely hotter than inside the house. Darren tossed his Ipod to him. "Take Shotgun, you're DJ." Inside his car, he made sure all the stuff was still in his car...it seemed nothing changed from last night, so they were good. Darren started up his car and pulled out of the parking lot and towards the section of the campus where the booths were located. Darren wanted to say something when he drove by Ethan walking back to the house, but he was in too much of a hurry. His friend chose some good rave music to play while they sped down the main street towards their destination. "Good choice, bro.". It would take them until 2:50 to get to their spot. Lucky for them there was two parking spots just a few steps away from the actual booth. Darren parked his car, and immediately took out his speakers to place them in the spot next to him for the other car.

"Alright, lets get to work, we don't have much time left. I'll get the main table ready, All you have to do is get the rest of the heavy stuff and wait for the rest of the boys to get here." Darren was pretty decent in giving directions to the rest of the frat brothers. Darren got the two boxes of PKT themed merchandise and the brochures/pampphlets and walked over to the shady booth. He then immediately set up all the gear he needed to do. There weren't many people out and about yet, since most were still moving in, so he had some stall time to get s**t done. After setting up the formal table, he got his laptop and the speakers and connected them to the power cord on the light post next to the booth. Darren had a Booth playlist set up on ITUNES - pretty much some alternative, country, rock, and pop music...nothing too brutal on the ears yet. Then he had the party playlist for later of all rap, techno, dubstep, rave, you name it. Once setting up the music he saw the second car of PKT guys coming out and getting the water and ice. He noticed that the three large ice chests were already filled before leaving the house. "Bros, you guys are the s**t. I would have never thought of that. Ok now, all y'all have to do is either help me at the booth or hang out around the area...You know what, just find a way to make it a good vibe around here. It's hot as a MILF out here so drink water too, thats why we have a crap ton for us and for the people who stop by. Its 3:05 now. Look sharp...Good Impression for T and G as well. " The group of guys split with some staying with Darren and the rest just tossing a football nearby the booth, just creating the positive atmosphere around the booth to attract more people. Darren then went to bring one of the ice chests out toward the front of the booth, and taped a sign "Free Water, Take One!"... he knew there would be a lot of thirsty people here today.

Darren opened his laptop and made sure his speakers were connected. He pressed teh shuffle button and the first song that came on was Smashing Pumpkins's 1979."Alright, Darren. Showtime!" He said to himself as he sat in his lawn chair behind the PKT table.

It was the late spring of his Freshman Year when everything had happened, and to remember it all clearly was just a flashback of his past. Fourteen Year old Tristian Gibson was a rebel at heart and was forged based on his actions during his high-school career when he had met a beautiful girl named Constance Mireau from Andorra, the small nation that was bordering both Spain and France of the European continent. Surely enough, the girl was able to swoop him off his feet as he would be ever called her his "one true love" or rather the one. Though, as things were turned.. It had happened on a certain night when one of the graduating high-school seniors had decided to throw a party that was outrageously chaotic and crazy that it didn't brought attention from the school that they were in, but multiple schools that weren't in that county. Project Z, the name of the party that was nicknamed after the so called movie Project X turned to be successful. Due to Tristian's corrupted behavior of the girl, he had attended the party under his behalf in order to see whats with the news that he had been hearing through the halls. When he had arrived, it was amazing. From crazy smokes and wild people jumping off roofs into the pools, it was sooner or later that he had saw one of his dearest friends who had been loyal to him ever since from middle school. He was the brother of the host, a junior who is becoming a senior for the next year.

His friend's face wasn't satisfied as Little Tristian looked at his homie as they were standing close. " Something troubles you?" He yelled as the music was blasting on maximum. " I am debating whether I should tell you or not." His friend replied to him, as suddenly it had brought into Tristian's concern of what his friend may be telling that he seemed to be keeping a secret. " If it concerns me, then you should let me know." Tristian looked deep within those black eye of his, only to see nothing but darkness. The Junior nodded his head as he told him to follow him into the house. Up the stairs as they were on the third floor. It was sooner or later that they had halted right in front of the door. A familiar voice was coming from the other side of the door, and it had really brought Tristian's concern as it did to his junior friend. The little Gibson boy looked at his friend narrowed as he placed his hand upon the doorknob. He twisted the doorknob, but it didn't unlock. " I can't get in. Do you the key?" Seeing as his junior friend had reached deep into his pocket and pulled out the key for the door, he had lend it over to Tristian as what he was about to witness.

" Are you sure you want to do this?" His junior friend asked Little Tristian. What's behind this door may at least do a lot of damage to him and he was worried. " If this is her behind this door, then I will expect myself to be a changed man and I will not be asked to be saved for what may come." Unlocking the door with the key, the boy twisted the door knob as it opened slowly. From closed to full away in a matter of ten seconds. He had seen the full visual of his girlfriend. Bare skinned as she was having sex with another teenager that wasn't him. It was soon that she had realized that her boyfriend was looking at him. A slut, cheater, and yet a whore. Constance covered her bare skinned with the bed sheets. "Tristian! I can explain!" She plead, but there was no hope. Tristian stood firm and tall for such a young-ling, there was no forgiving for the actions that she had done. The pain and suffering had started to happen as he stood there. A little dim of light came over him like if he was a fallen angel from the heavens. It was sooner or later that he had suddenly shed a tear. His breathing was slightly irregular as he would try and held his tears back. " I'm sorry Tristian! I'm so sorry!" Apologizing will do no good, I twas sooner or later that Tristian Bismark Gibson would disappear from the party.

Three days after with the events of his break up of his cheating girlfriend Constance. The boy had stayed within his room, well of course he had went to school, but there was no interaction between his parents nor his little brother during the time. Heading to school and then home, the boy did his homework as he slept away.... It had brought to his parent's intention that the boy had gone through an emotional train wreck which was true.Ethan hun, you should check up on your big brother just in case" His little brother nodd his head as he hopped off his seat at the dining table, as he went upstairs to the locked door that went into Tristian's room. " Big brother? Are You okay? Mom said to check up on you." Ethan said as his head was on the floor. It was sooner or later that the door was unlocked by his little brother because there was no key hole. Entering his room was a Tristian Gibson sitting in a fetal position. It seemed like he was frozen in ice, but he wasn't. Coming from his little brother as he sat right aside of him. Ethan had hugged his big brother as he began to sang. It was some random tune that Tristian didn't get, but it did made him smile for a couple seconds. Sooner or later his brother had closed his door on his way out, and that is where the big brother decided to flip the switch.

                                                              Present Day, 3:00
It was weird enough when his multiple flashbacks had came to life as he stood from the side. He watched them all as like it was a movie. Opening his eyes with a blink, Tristian had pushed himself up from the bed as he looked around. He was in Allison's room. That's right, they had arrived a day earlier in order to settle down until both of them had caught each other's attention while walking on campus. They spent the day together, and watching a movie that kinda hit his feels. It had almost made him just to leave her in the middle of the night where he would go ahead and went to the supermarket, and just buy icecream so he could at least feel well. Unfortunetely, they cuddled that night and it felt like everything seems to be fine. Tristian rubbed his eyes, but his attention was caught by Allison who was sleeping with a t-shirt and shorts. Would've been great if she was wearing lingerie right? "Tristian, you okay? It seems like you had a nightmare." The girl looked at him as it was her concern. Young Gibson adult looked at the young lady, "Just a flashback, a really terrible flashback within my past." He replied back to her. Grabbing his phone, he pressed the activation light button as it didn't light up. " Out of batteries." Though, looking at the clock within the room it was nearly three.... s**t he was late with helping Darren set up the both for Rush Week.

"Hey, I need to head to the booths for Rush Week. I wish you luck Miss President and if things get stressed... I'll be gladly to take you to dinner sometime tonight if you'd like....or meet you at the party" Tristian said as he grabbed his tie which was lying upon the floor. Adjusting his dirty self, with his formal clothing that he had slept. The young adult looked himself upon the mirror. He was decently enough, but was wondering if he needed the PKT member shirt that are always required to bloody wear at certain events like these. Tristian turned around as he looked at Allison upon the bed. " I'll see you later." He said as he twisted the door knob and exiting her room. Of course, seeing as the Sigma Epsilon girls looking at him as he exited was a bit of a strange sight to see. Did their President had sex with him? Maybe, surely it wasn't though. Just a cuddle night between the two. It was sooner or later that he had reached the PKT mansion of manliness, noticing that his brother had already entered the building. " Brother! I know you're in here." He yelled into the house, hoping he would recognize his big brother's voice. " No time to chat! Got a booth to setup!"

By the time Tristian had gotten changed, it was simple enough that every rush week... that consists of recruiting freshmen had to be considered a shirt off in order to show how sexy PKT members are. Coming down the stairs as a bare shirted, red pkt pants, and the shirt dangling from the side. The young adult looked at his brother, " My phone is dead, Can you please give it to me and check it up once and awhile for messages?" He asked his brother kindly. Ethan had that motherly characteristic within him, as for his father who was more influenced within Tristian. It was surely that the young adult had left the compound, walking down the street and right where the booths are was known to be several fraternity and sorority groups with there booths ready to recruit. "Let's get this over with." The narrowed eyed and yet grumpy Trist murmured as he approached to his Fraternity group's booth. Noticing to see that Darren and a couple of members were there trying to impress people. To be honest, it was decently okay... The music needs to change was the problem. " Darren...hey" Starting it from easy and then heading to the wrong direction. " Why are we playing this shitty music when we could play something like this?' Tristian was not amused by the choice of the new Freshman recruiter. So the young adult decided to change it to Timber by Pitbull. " We are a party frat, but yet we keep it nice and clean... Don't try and play any type of music that is below 1990s please. Oh and Darren, take off your shirt. Show some manliness within the family"

Where am I: Allison's Room > PKT House > PKT Booth
Who I'm with: Allison > Brother > Darren

"Oh my god, Ohmigod, Ohhh my GOD!!! GUYS!!!!" The squeals of delight left the girls lips as she bounded down the stairs to open the front door. She'd heard the doorbell from her room and had known immediately what it was. The Alpha Gamma Delta cases! Olivia had been working on the designs for weeks and now they were finally here!! The day had arrived! Delivery day! Not delivery as in like a child delivery of course. That would be birth, and now there was something that would most certainly not have Olivia Collins quite this excited. Not even the cute mailman caught her attention as she practically ripped open the door and signed for her package. "Thank you!" With that she picked up the box and hurried back to her room. Luckily phone cases didn't weigh much. Practically bursting with excitement, she quickly ripped open the box and dumped its contents onto her bed. Ah! They looked so amazing! Grabbing three, she took a quick picture that she immediately tweeted. After all, she didn't order these to look pretty in just her room. Alpha Gamma Delta pride for the road baby! Speaking of which, Liv glanced at the clock on her phone only to realize she was running late. s**t. She couldn't be late. Granted, the AGD booth was already set up, she'd made sure of that, but it would still look bad if she herself wasn't there. Quickly putting the cases back in the box, Olivia set it aside and grabbed her change of clothes. A bikini of course, with this weather you never knew how far you had to strip, especially with some of the activities she had planned for the recruitment booth. Go big or go home right? And if you do go home, it better be with a full sheet of pledges.

Minutes later the redhead was dressed and just slipping into her shoes. High heels of course. At her height she was sometimes missed between the crowd, and today she couldn't afford for that to happen. Hell no. Luckily she'd practically been born with high heels and so she at least knew how to walk in them. Unlike some girls on campus. Luckily Alpha Gamma taught their pledges the essential things like that. God knows an alpha couldn't be seen hobbling in her Jimmy Choos. One last glance in the mirror told her that she was ready. Ready to rock this b***h. Grabbing her purse, she paused to go over the mental checklist in her head on last time before leaving her room to head off to the booth.

                          ▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬

"That's right ladies! Alpha Gamma Delta is pretty much the place to be! I mean you want sisterhood? Hello Alpha! You want a good time? Hello Alpha! You want to be at the hottest place on campus? Well they don't call us Alpha for nothing!" Liv flashed the two girls standing before her, her most charming smile. Even if she was just saying anything, and pretty much everything she'd been taught by recruiters before her, she meant it. Alpha was the best place to be on campus. No doubt about it. "Seriously! You will not regret it! And you see those guys right over there?" With a sly grin, Olivia gave the boys at Kappa a wave which was returned with quite some enthusiasm. "Those boys belong to Kappa Tau, our brother house. We have all our mixers with them, and let me tell you, they sure know how to show a girl a good time!" Her sentence was followed by a wink and short giggle. "Trust me, you will not regret pledging Alpha Gamma Delta!" Apparently the girls thought so too, because Liv had barely finished her little spiel before the girls took a step towards the table to leave their information.

Score! Not that she was surprised. The AGD booth looked amazing. They'd snagged a perfect spot. Shade didn't matter, because Liv had ordered a tent of sorts for the girls to set up their tables under. Naturally the redhead had gone all out. The booth tent was full with girls, which wasn't surprising as she'd arranged for several other Alpha sisters to dig out their nail kits and give free manicures. What better way to chat up a girl than by doing her nails right? While the nails were going, so were the beverages, water bottles with the AGD symbols of course and their signature pink lemonade. Alcohol free for the time being of course. Snacks were a must too, and of course there was a table lined with food, both junk and healthy because an alpha must live healthy, but is allowed to indulge every now and then. The thing that probably drew most girls were the boys however. Of course Alpha had their booth right next to Kappa Tau, much to Liv's pleasure. The Kappa boys were fine. Damn fine. So it was by no coincidence that there were one or two Alpha sisters sun tanning next to their tent. They certainly got the boys' attention, and in turn the boys were drawing in more possible pledges. Win-win right? Yes, her recruitment booth was running smoothly. The music was blasting, nails were being done, and most importantly; Girls were signing up left right and centre. Liv took the moment to send a text to the alpha prezzie to update her on the events so far.

                            to Neva
                            from Livvy
                                I hope you're ready for a house
full of new hotties!!!! so many girls are pledging,
I almost feel bad for some! Oh well! Alpha is still
number one baby ; ) how are things going at the
                                house?

Turning her attention away from the freshman for a few moments, Liv took the time to see which of her sisters had arrived already. She was craving a little upper class men interaction and maybe a cup of spiked lemonade. Just maybe though. Her first thought was to go find Cammie, but her survey of the quad told her that she probably shouldn't as Cammie seemed to be busy with Dexter. Classic Cameron. Who to annoy though...Hm. When in doubt go Kappa right? Adjusting her tank top slightly, Liv tucked a stray strand of hair behind her ear and headed over to the Kappa booth located just mere meters from hers where she spotted Darren and Tristian. Perfect. "Well hey there boys! Working hard or hardly working? Anybody sign up yet?" Smiling Liv glanced from one male to the other before continuing. "Now to be perfectly honest, I need your help boys." Olivia paused for a few seconds before she continued. "You see, all those little freshman girls are looking to pledge, and I want them to pledge Alpha Gamma. All those little freshman girls have eyes, and you boys are fine, so do me a favour and crank up the music for starters. And if you can spare a few boys to come mingle that'd be great. I'll return the favour and send you a few alpha ladies?" Helping hands right? She doubted that they'd say no to having a few sexy ladies lounging by their booth to attract some more guys.

Yup, you found me. No weirdness included. Just seeing each other for the first time. In person. Not behind a cell phone screen" Chase said in what seemed like a welcoming tone to Bryarly. “Well that’s good. I was afraid that you would be someone else and that would have been kinda awkward and then I’d have had to go all ‘kay thanks bye’ on them, which let’s face it, would have come off as rude. I’m just gonna stop talking now…” She ended with a slight laugh. The young woman was verbose whether she knew a person or not. Short, clipped phrases were not the usual for her. Bryarly looked at the man in front of her for a moment. He was attractive, that was for sure. Absolutely the same person that was on Twitter. His eyes were nice, green? She looked away, not wanting to seem like she was looking at him too long. Bry liked to observe people. He seemed easy around her, which was something she wished she was better at, being easy around people. She was always afraid that she would come off as too weird or something of the like. She was what some people might call a loud geek. She enjoyed her sci-fi and books, but if she knows you she can come off a little strong.

One thing that she desperately wanted to learn in college, and hopefully in Sigma Phi, was how to be a better version of herself. Bry wanted to be able to have a conversation with someone and not sit and think about every single word that she said coming out wrong, sounding too eager, or something that like. Sure, she was over-correcting and a little on the dogmatic side, but when she was telling someone a fact, generally a fact that they had just misstated, she was confident, perhaps a bit on the bitchy side if what she said came out the wrong way. Is it possible to love and hate yourself at the same time? Bryarly was there. College would help her find herself, she was sure of that. She just didn’t want to change so much that she forgot herself.

"Football, indeed. I've been playing the sport ever since I was in upper elementary school. Just kinda' came as a natural born talent. I intend to sign up for the football team and work my way up. You'll most likely see me on the football field every day to be honest" She heard Chase as he told her about his days of football past and days to come. “Well, that seems like an awfully long time to be playing a sport, I bet you’re really good at it by now. I mean, you did say you were a natural, so I guess that would explain the good at it part…”She trailed off a bit, lost in her own thoughts for a moment. Bry had a habit of trailing off at the end of a sentence, be it because she was afraid that she had just embarrassed herself or because she had a thought that took her away from the present for a moment.

Talking about football had made her think of her older brother Jackson. Both of her brothers were athletic, while Jackson played football, Owen had a knack for soccer. Bryarly on the other hand was so-so when it came to sports. She tried really hard, but usually to no avail. Anything that involved a decent amount of hand-eye-coordination went straight out the window when it came to Bry. She could run though, so that was something. Her father always joked that Bryarly wasn’t able to walk and chew gum at the same time, so one day she set out to prove him wrong, it just so happened that the exact same time she was ‘proving’ her coordination to her father that the family dog ran through her walking space and she tripped. “That doesn’t count!” she squealed to him. He just laughed and told her that the case was closed. They would never let her live that one down, that’s for sure.

Her mother was different than the rest of the family, at least in Bryarly’s opinion. While she was very loving and doted on her daughter left and right, Bry felt like her mom was constantly trying to push her in the direction that would make her exactly like her. Bryarly was her own person, and her mom just didn’t understand why she wanted to do different things. Bry wanted to go the school for Anthropology, and mommy dearest wasn’t exactly thrilled about that. She said it was too dirty and manly for her daughter, and that she should try something that would get her out with living people. While the girl didn’t listen to her mother on that respect, she was going to listen and attempt to pledge Sigma Phi Epsilon, the sorority that her mother was an alumna of. Bryarly had always wanted a sister, so maybe Sigma Phi was the place for her to be.

Snapping back to reality, Bryarly continued to speak, “I will have to come watch you play then, Mr. Football star. It’ll be like your own personal cheering section of awkward nerd girls.”Crap. Was that weird? She smiled at him, genuinely interested in seeing him play. Out of the corner of her eye, Bryarly saw a fast moving shape coming close to their zone of conversation. The girl zeroed in on the two gabbing freshman and quickly asked for Bryarly. “I'm sorry to interrupt but... Bryarly Corcoran? I'm Alexis Daniel, Sigma Phi Event Coordinator! I believe we've been exchanging emails. Alexis Daniel. You guys can call me Lex or Lexi. It's great to see some fresh faces around here. I'm making my way over to the booths before a meeting. Care to join?" Alexis said excitedly. “Uh, hi!” she said, putting a face to the words she had been reading for a while now. “It’s nice to finally meet you! I’m actually really glad that you found me because I wasn’t really sure how to go about the booths yet. I’m kind of nervous, but you already know that from the emails.” She finished with a laugh. “I think that’s a good idea, give me one second with Chase and then I will be all yours.” Bryarly returned her gaze the Chase, raising a questioning eyebrow. “Do you want to come with us, or would you rather do your own thing? I mean, no pressure or anything, just thought I’d offer since I am kinda ditching you in the middle of our conversation.” She stopped talking, realizing that she should probably let him get a word in edgewise.

tab Well that’s good. I was afraid that you would be someone else and that would have been kinda awkward and then I’d have had to go all ‘kay thanks bye’ on them, which let’s face it, would have come off as rude. I’m just gonna stop talking now. Cute. Chase pretty much nodded his head with that smirk still intact while he listened to Bryarly's reply. Alternating keeping eye contact on her light blues, then looking away as if the passerby students had become a distraction. All the while, Chase was in a relatively calm mood. Not one that would cause him any sudden flickers of bad moods or anything of the like. Sure, he was still being cautious around Bryarly. That wasn't going to change. Just because she had a nice cleavage line, fully developed chest and a sexy look didn't mean he was gonna' cater to that tease and trap. With Bryarly wearing some strapless looking top that showed off her stomach from underneath the vest and that nice cleavage line? That sounded like a 'hook, line and sinker' trap. Such a trap that Chase was too smart to allow himself to fall for. Way too smart.

tab He did catch her looking at him though for an extended amount of time. Thanks to the idea that he was staring forward and could tell from his peripherals. Possibly a smirk had curled at the corner of his lips that he hadn't expected. Mostly because he almost expected women to be giving him looks just due to his fashion sense alone. If he ever walked around campus topless? No doubt the looks would increase. But that of course was being an attention whore. Kinda' like the chicks who take pictures of themselves with deep cleavage and post them on social media or public sites then act like their innocent? Yeah. Attention. Seeking. Whore. Chase has dated quite a few of those and he almost laughed at how men gravitated to those kinds of women. The same women that jealous ex's called 'c** dumpsters' and the same women who had no brains to tell right from wrong. The dumb females who purposely went out of their way to call attention to themselves with open t-shirts or dresses that showed off more boobage then needed. Chase honestly dissed those females the most. Because they were trying way too hard.

tab Well, that seems like an awfully long time to be playing a sport, I bet you’re really good at it by now. I mean, you did say you were a natural, so I guess that would explain the good at it part. Chase looked back up at Bryarly to give her attention as he could tell from her responses so far that she was nervous. Nervous, or shy. One of the two. Chase wasn't really sure how he could handle this because he was so used to straight forward women who knew what they wanted from him. Bryarly on the other hand? A caliber female that he had never once dealt with before. Mildly concerning since he didn't want to say something stupid or egotistical to already have someone judge him. But she made a point about his football skills that only stroked his ego with a firm grasp. Oh yes, he was good at football. Incredibly good. Maybe not NFL worthy, but he planned to make that change by his Senior year in this school. "I'd be lying to you if I didn't think of myself as one of my State's best football players for the Tight End position. But that also seems pretty overly cocky so, yeah. I am pretty good I suppose".

tab There was a few minutes of pause between their next replies, in which Chase started to feel his phone vibrate. A slight interest of an eyebrow rose as he slipped his hand in his pocket and slid his phone out to check what it was. Unlocking his phone via a quick slide of his thumb along the dotted pattern, Chase checked the top bar notification to see the icon symbol for Twitter. Weird. Chase slid the top bar down to see fully what the notification was and pressed the cut-off words that partially shown what was tweeted to him. @flutterbry @ChasingSummer Hazing? What are you talking about? None of Berkeley's sororities or frats do such things! #Dumbass #FailedJustLikeAllison #ItsIllegal #DontGetUsinTrouble We're angels at AGD! Oh bull-the ******** they were angels. Chase's face dropped from it's previously calm and interested look with Bryarly, to a more annoyed and irritated tone. You mean to tell me that the blonde haired bimbo chick that pretty much showed her tits off in a bra earlier on in the day is now telling me that her sorority is a bunch of angels? ******** that. Chase thought to himself.

tab The more twitter exchanges the two had over the course of a good ten minutes, the more Chase was being pissed off. For someone who acted all high and mighty, who claimed to be the 'Vice President' of her sorority? That was a joke. Seriously, Chase could only think just how many Administrators she had to blow or women she had to kiss a** or touch vags with to get that position. She didn't even look like a professional anything and with the fact that she even told him and a bunch of guys earlier about some 'wet t-shirt contest'? Yeah. Chase was done. No doubt that she was gonna' be the target and made a prime example of as far as why disrespecting him wouldn't ever go far. Plus, if she was a Vice President? It wasn't like he was actually trashing the President of the sorority. Depending on how the President of the sorority kept to herself, Chase might actually respect her more. But for this blonde haired, fake tits looking chick to come at him and call him a dumbass over something trivial? What a b***h. Her username on Twitter seemed to fit her quite well right about now. She's lucky he ended it.

tab I will have to come watch you play then, Mr. Football star. It’ll be like your own personal cheering section of awkward nerd girls. Trying not to direct his anger at Bryarly, and certainly holding his composure well, Chase exhaled through his nose audibly. "Yeah. Cheering squad. I don't see how it's a squad when it's just one person but, that's just me. Plus, I highly doubt that having a cheering squad is really needed. All I need right now is a football and some gear and I'll show someone just what I'm made of. That, or a punching bag. If you ever see one, let me know exactly where it is". Chase said this in a hybrid tone mixed between disinterest and lack of positive emotion. Clearly the fact that he was still looking at the messages on his screen was doing him no justice and he wasn't really in the mood to conversation much anymore. Shaking his head moments later and folding up his pamphlet rather roughly, Chase forceably shoved the pamphlet in his pocket and locked his phone with the other hand. Shoving his phone in the other pocket moments later and prepared him self to stand up and leave.

tab Zipping up his backpack and standing to allow himself to swing the backpack over his right shoulder, Chase was prepared to say his goodbyes to Bryarly. Prepared, but wouldn't be given the opportunity since the sight of a female rushing towards them at a quickened pace caused him to have two thoughts. One? What the ******** did she want. Two? If she's here to defend Cameron due to the Twitter drama, I swear to god. Luckily, none of those options were made into reality and as focus would have it, Bryarly seemed to be the main attraction. I'm sorry to interrupt but... Bryarly Corcoran? I'm Alexis Daniel, Sigma Phi Event Coordinator! I believe we've been exchanging emails. Oh good. Great. Pen pals over the world wide web. Whoop da dee doo. At least the chick had the intestinal fortitude to apologize for interrupting Chase from leaving. That was redeeming. Then, she extended a hand towards him in the form of a handshake. Chase looked at her hand questioningly to see if this was a trick or she was going to smear something on his palm. But apparently not. Cautiously, Chase extended his hand.

tab Alexis Daniel. You guys can call me Lex or Lexi. It's great to see some fresh faces around here. I'm making my way over to the booths before a meeting. Care to join?. Upon shaking her hand, all was revealed to him that her main purpose was. Just some recruiter that apparently grew fond of Bryarly for a long time. Yet, she was asking Chase if she wanted him to join her? Yeah, no. Chase was going to join a fraternity, not a sorority. Thus, there was no reason why he felt inclined to play third wheel to two women he just met, ten minutes between apart from each other. I think that’s a good idea, give me one second with Chase and then I will be all yours. Wait, what? Chase was a bit confused as to why Bryarly was postponing her recruiting pledges to want to stick by with him and talk. Especially since he had the drive and motivation to want to walk away right now himself. Do you want to come with us, or would you rather do your own thing? I mean, no pressure or anything, just thought I’d offer since I am kinda ditching you in the middle of our conversation. Oh so now he had a choice? How nice.

tab "Pardon my straightforwardness, but I don't think I'm at liberty to have to deal with any recruiters or people trying to buy me off to place in their pledge like I have a price on my head. If anything, I've got a few recent issues I need to attend to and a dorm room I have to find and unpack in. Bryarly. Alexis. Have fun". With that being said, Chase's body turned to leave as he gave them both a quick glance. Still a look of disinterest that held a tinge of silent anger flickering in his eyes. It was one thing to insult him face to face. It was another to publicly insult him over a social media site for all to see. Let alone the whole campus most likely. Not to mention, his responses were less than pleasant and he even gave Cameron an invitation to approach him face to face to discuss his issue with her. Yet she turned the tables and wanted him to find her, just because she had 'Vice President duties'? Hell no. ******** her. Chase's feet then continued to walk him along the concrete in the direction of where he perceived the dorms to be. Or at least in the general area they should be. Then again, he was still unaware of things.

tab Ten minutes in and Chase was still walking about the campus until he finally pissed himself off enough to pull out the campus map again. Feeling like a complete idiot just sitting there looking at the thing like some lost pathetic puppy, Chase quickly mentally set a reminder of where to go and head towards next. Taking that walk towards the right place to go and actually having a concept of which direction the dormitory building was located this time around. Five minutes later and Chase had then walked through the entrance doors of his dormitory building, greeted with a scent of fresh air conditioning. He already knew which dorm room number to head towards and used the numbered doors seen throughout the hallway as a guide already. Once he found his room and used his room key to get in, he was greeted by what seemed to be an unclaimed room which didn't seem to have any fragrance of cologne or out of place item in it. Hell, the beds were even tucked in and everything was barren and empty. Taking to the bed on the right side of the room, Chase tossed his backpack on the bed and started unpacking.

A quick glance up confirmed what she had thought. Someone had entered the hall and stood staring at her for a moment too long. Though she doubted that the blond female realized it. Looking back down, she pocketed her phone as she waited for the female to speak. "Hi! I'm sort of hoping your Jaiden, or else this will be awkward. Even if you're not, I'm Lindsey. 204 is room... and maybe your room?" A hand was offered out as the girls sentence came to an end. It came to Jaiden's attention that the girl was assuming who she was, not asking.

Pursing her lips, she considered being a b***h and telling the girl off for assuming. She doesn't like to be made into an a**. Deciding that it wasn't worth her time, and that she didn't know the girl well enough to go off on her, she let out a smile and shook the girls hand. "Jaiden Donati. I like to go by Jai, though. It is nice to meet the woman who has been everywhere but the room today. "She dropped her hand, head tilting as the girl questioned where it was that she was going.

"Are you heading to the booths around campus? Do you maybe want to go together?"She considered the offer to walk with the girl. It would do her some good to get to know her roommate. It wouldn't be any good if she was stuck with someone who she hadn't tried to get to know. "Yeah, I was actually heading that way just now. I hear Alpha Gamma Delta is the Sorority to pledge for, so I was going to check them out. That and I wanted to get a peek at some of the hotties walking around campus. "

Jaiden nodded her head, indicating that Lindsey should follow her, as she began walking down the hall. She knew where it was that she was going, it wasn't hard to remember how she'd gotten here and where the booths were that she saw. Assuming she went out the right door. For all she knew there were a million doors leading out of this place. Stepping outside, a smile stretched across her face as she took in the site. The heat was going to take some getting used to, but that wouldn't be too hard for her. The site of hot male bodies, now that she may never get used to.

"Ohkay, Lins. Where are we heading first? AGD? Or just wondering aimlessly while getting to know one another? Oooor we could do both. I've yet to explore this place. "She turned around without much warning. She knew it was unfair to not give the poor blond any sign that she was turning around so she stepped back, the smile never leaving her face. They had time, she hoped, to get to the AGD booth and pledge.

                                                                          "speech"
