Usually it was work that kept her up most of the night, the problems going on with Citricos or the patients causing issues that she had to deal with. Everything that came in and out of the asylum she dealt with and she signed off on. She knew everything, that even meant the orders other doctors made for themselves if it came here she dealt with it all. Even being on call at the drop of a pin no matter what time of the day or night it was. A lot of this was too much stress for one woman alone, but she worked well under pressure and craved the hectic lifestyle such as this. Sleep didn't some easy that night, and it wasn't because of stress of being worried that she'd forgotten something. It was excitement that flowed through he body that kept her wide awake and able to keep doing things. She felt energized and happy even with the little sleep she'd gotten. Having to gone to bed much earlier then she usually managed too, around ten. She'd gotten a few light hours off sleep, waking up to turn over, or just stare into the darkness of the wall. At one point she'd gotten up and opened her curtains to the small balcony.attacked to her room. Sitting outside with a cup of tea and going over more paper work in her robe. That has been around two in the morning when she'd given up sleep. The woman was much to excited, today her husband would finally be joining her here to work. Just thinking about the thought put a smile to her lips taking another sip of tea.

She' been married for a few good years now, but nobody here had ever seen her husband, only heard about him from her lips or the many rumors people started about this "ghost" husband of hers. The few that did know were quiet curious, since he never stepped foot in the asylum. She'd go back home to visit him some weekends and a few holidays for a couple hours. With her job her place was here to take care of everything so it was always hard to spent time with each other. That was what held her happiness for him to finally be coming here. On top of that he'd be dealing with all the finances of the place, so one less thing she needed to worry about. Flipping through that paper work currently as it rested in her lap. Someone had been going over their limit of funds without talking to her first getting it signed off. Everything pointed in the direction of the medical wing. She's have to scope that out and get it figured out and dealt with. Over the years sh'ed had to fire many employees over countless reason. Sooh was numb to the while idea, and didn't even bat an eye to firing. With this place everyone as replaceable for her staff, not that she thought about it that way but the truth was sometimes hard to take. It was no surprise people actually wanted Citricos on their resumes. The pay was good, whole range of freedom and the only downside if you could call it one was you had to live there and be on call twenty four seven. Sometimes the people were hard to deal with but you didn't go into this job without already knowing that bit of information.

Putting that work down she let a sigh slip from her lips, letting her eyes closes. Her mid automatically found its way to thinking about work, work and more work. Going over the people who were in confinement right now, she'd have to get the list of who would be getting released soon. Off the top of her head she knew Micha was down there for another outburst, and then Calcifer was once again there. He would be out soon, and heavens knew those other two he hung out with, Olive and Darren would be starting to throw fits soon. They would be getting bored without him around, and Sooh didn't know what was worse-them bored or all together. At times it was hard to decipher which was which." What else do I have to check into. . ." trailing off as she stood up grabbing her tea cup and papers, bringing everything inside. There was a list laying on her table of everything she needed-a checklist. Picking that up and setting the financial papers down. Her eyes skimmed everything going over the unchecked items." Ah yes, the staff room keys." frowning and once again setting her list down. Some of the staff keys were glitching out, with an electronic key system, it often happened, usually only the staff could use their own keys, with the touch sensitive lock, but a few have been letting others use them and most people didn't report that. Sooh didn't find that a problem, since it was only going on between the staff, so getting that fixed was the lowest on her list. If the patients tried, their own bracelets would counter the staff key and it wouldn't work for the, so she wasn't too worried."It's three am now, so I have time to get ready, I will grab a small breakfast from the kitchen and then back to work, but before that I have to do a building check, make sure the staff is up and at their places in their designated time, talk to Tai, and there was something else. Oh yes see if any new patients will be checking in and going over the list of patients being let out today. If they are all signed off." Tapping her fingers together as she went through her list.

All the time walking to the bathroom to get ready. She didn't take that long to get dressed since she had taken a bath earlier in attempts to sleep better. That was she didn't take long after she'd finally picked out what to wear. Feeling like a girl in high school, going through all her clothes and not liking a single thing she was trying on. She wanted to look nice, and well of course she was always well put together. It wasn't a rare sight to see her not dressed up, but people always took it that way. She had her days where she would dress down and if they caught her early or late enough in the day she'd of course would not be all dolled up. Adding the last of her lipstick, she was done and hand gathered up all the files and papers and everything else into her hands and left her room, shutting the light out with her shoulder before slipping out the door. Once again Sooh had started going over her mental notes of things to do, dropping some files off here, going across the asylum over there and back over here. Checking up to make staff was were they needed to be. Most would be in the kitchen getting meals before more of the patients woke up but a few would already be eating at their positions and ready to go. She didn't have time to stop and talk to everyone or anyone for that matter. Running around the place like it was on fire, making sure things were in line. Mostly because she couldn't stand still long, being giddy like a school girl. On her way back up from dropping a few files off down to the staff in the confinement center, as they were switching shifts and the night guards were heading to bed. She'd realized her walkie talkie was missing from her hip.

Having had to run all the way back up to the second floor so she could fetch it from her room. Turning out that had been a good things as she was going back tot he elevator Tai and Poppy were getting on also." Morning Ms. Quinn." giving a quick greeting to the female as the elevator doors closed them all in and she turned her attention to her son." Your uncle is arriving today, he called last night to give the news. Also I need you to start working on the plans for the fourth of July as soon as you are done eating." giving him a soft smile. " You took your medication right?" giving him some quick motherly love before leaving the elevator before the two forms did and walked on ahead. Needing to stop by the front desk before she made he way to the cafeteria. Her work didn't take too long, just making sure the front doors were unlocked and the day was ready to starts, hanging up the sheet of new arrivals for the staff to check people in, a couple people would be getting new roommates today. Wit that job done, Sooh was finally able to head to the kitchen and see who was all there, knowing many of her staff members were not morning people, it was always a rough start for them, and the coffee pot was the first place many of them went to. Walking in she made sure to stop at Lir and Keira's table quickly. Remembering another bit of information." I can see that fatherly worry on you face, your daughter is on her way." smiling at the male before addressing both of them." Have either of you taken care of those wasp nest above the front entrance? I would hate to have anyone stung because they needed to get through those doors."

He needed to find the perfect books for everyone. People could be so picky at times and those people tended to drive him crazy. He really hated the ones that were picky for no reason. The claimed to like a certain genre only to turn down all the books he presented them with. He was sure that they just came around the library to annoy him. The only kind of picky people that he was okay with was the ones that really did have a certain book in mind. Some patients only liked to read a certain genre and other only liked a certain author. When a person read most of those books in the library they tended to want more. It was his duty to make sure that they got just what they wanted. After all he would not feel right shutting them out of a world that would help stimulate their imagination. For most of the night he stayed up and worked on a list of books that would be good for everyone.

For the people that he liked the most he tended to put more books on the list just for them. They tended to be in the library more which meant that they needed more things to read. That was the excuse he would use if anyone ever questioned him. He had made sure to request some new romantic books that he had heard about for Vixen and for Blitzen he had made sure to ask for more comic books. They had read a lot of books and he was sure that they could come up with their own stories. That idea was something that fueled him. He was going to challenge both of them to at least write a short story or a short comic. He really wanted to know why Vixen loved romantic novels. They were rather boring in his opinion and full of clichés. He was not going to belittle her for her choice; she was free to like what she wanted. He understood completely why Blitzen loved comics. It was a real no brainer. Out of the trio he really enjoyed Donner the most. He was a hidden genius, in a sense. He was great when it came to history facts and every once in a while he liked to challenge him. Of course he made sure to add more history books to the list. If Donner was not going to read them there was some other people that needed to pick the books up.

Some other books that made the list dealt with medieval history and torture along with more books about nature and poisonous plants. He liked to keep people well informed and seeing that some liked to go outside it was important that they knew what was around them. The list took him practically all night to make and by the time he passed out it was close to one in the morning. He was grateful that he did not disturb his roommate and when he got into bed sleep came rather quickly.

Michael’s eyes snapped open when his alarm started to go off. He did not want to wake his roommate, especially this early in the morning. Even though he had only slept for a few hours, his body felt well rested. It was all thanks to the fact that he was use to running off of little sleep. Before he started working here he use to stay up and work on inventions or would be reading some books. When he was not reading or working on things he was exercising his brain. Trivia games were always addicting and timed seemed to fly right on by. It was not that he did not like sleeping there was just a lot of things that could be done and sleep tended to get in the way. He didn’t need coffee to stay up either. Coffee was like a bad energy drink. It could be addictive like drugs and it also causes people to crash. He did not need anything like that in his life. He had managed to mold his body into something that worked perfect just for him.

He made his way into the bathroom and began his morning process. It did not take him long to finished getting ready and when he was done he walked back into the bed room. Today he decided to go with a rather simple look and pulled out the items he needed. Some days he wished he could walk around in a robe, but that was only for when he was in his room. When he was out in the asylum he liked to wear suits and for the most part he never put on a jacket. He worked in a library not an office. Suit jackets tended to make him full stuffy and hot all the time. Ties were not his thing so he never put them on. He was too old to be wearing all of that stuff. People his age were enjoying retirement or messing around with some girl that was half their age. The girl part was not his cup of tea but the idea of being retired and relaxing did seem interesting. For some reason he could not bring himself to part from this place. He enjoyed teaching people things and he loved hearing some of their stories. It seemed like the only way he would leave was on a stretcher.

Before he walked out of the room he took one last look at his reflection and pushed some hair out of his face. He did not have bed hair and that was the most important thing. If he would have forgotten he could have pulled the age card, but no one would believe him. His intellect would not allow him to go that low. Just as he was walking out of the room he stopped and went back for the list that he made. When he was done with breakfast he wanted to hand it to Sooh. He took the stairs down to the kitchen and noticed that a lot of people were up. It was good to see their faces and he made his way to the tea pot. After he got his tea he settled on eating bagels and eggs. It did not take long for his food to be ready and when he had it he moved towards Rick’s table. He was another staff member that had earned his respect. Anyone that liked to deal with nightmares was rather interesting in his book. The man was rather clever. “Good morning Rick. I see you decided on a rather simple breakfast.” He did not care much for his food and continued to sip on his tea. It was a new flavor and it was rather refreshing. His eyes moved back over the list and he tried to think of others books that would be useful to request.

For once Remi felt his body at ease, shifting in a relaxing state of calm sleep. It was so strange to feel relaxed while being in this state, mostly because the male was notorious for twisting and turning in his sleep. Often he would wake up with a cold sweat on his brow from the nightmares and dreams that corrupted his mind while within the dream world. The world of dreams was not kind to the young southern male, as often it was filled with the screams of his beloved. In his dreams he felt as did when he was awake, cold and numb when he saw glimpses of her. His dear sweet Evangeline. No matter how many seasons passed him, taking a hold of time, he could not get passed it. Every moment he tired to count the seconds that he wished she was still here and no matter how many people who he surrounded himself with, nothing seemed to take his mind off of her. The screams.. The echoes in his nightmares were enough to drive any sane man to the brink of insanity. Yet tonight was different. He was sleeping so soundly and the only image of his dear late beloved was one of moments of bliss and joy. He even swore that in his dream that she was smiling. There was no pain in it, just the bitter sweet joy of her. He felt at such ease that his body was relaxed, even sleeping in passed the mornings sun and his own alarm.

With a shift of his body he felt his eyes slowly open, causing him to see first light. His pupils dilated from the attack of the sun, he didn't seem to mind the pain though as it was something he had grown use to. The morning pain was worth it if he was allowed to see the new firefly in his life. Jessy was her name, a co-worker of his who he had worked side by side with for awhile. For years he had known her crush on him, however tried to avoid such things for reasons of his own. The first reason was because he did not want to date a co-worker as that always led to problems at work and being in such stressful environment could destroy anyone. It happened all the time here though, even more so with staff and patients which was against the rules. It was the worst kept secret in the asylum. The second reason was because the ghost of his dead wife was forever haunting him, in his nightmares and even when his eyes were open. She was always on his mind, whispering things in his ear and he swore she was going to destroy him. Every time he got close to opening his heart again she appeared in his dreams, and his dearest Evangeline turned in to a demon of his mind.

Over the years he was getting help though, having nightmare therapy and such, which seemed to help his current procurement. Soon he was able to even dance with Jessie without feeling too off. Last Christmas he had gained the courage to flirt back with her and the two have been going 'steady' for a few months now. Apparently everyone else they knew wanted them to get together which confused even him but it didn't matter. The only voice who ever mattered was Tia, who he was currently watching over. She was a grown woman now, far from the young child who he knew and met back in their state. Ever since her father had died she had been having nightmares, and it got worse over the years. When she was transferred to this asylum, she had been young however now that he was a grown woman and still holding the darkness in her mind, Remi was unsure in what to do. There seemed to be no way in helping her insomnia nor nightmares. At first he thought that she was getting better but everyday he could see the tiredness growing. He knew the human body could only take so much and every day he found himself hoping that she wasn't close to reaching such a state.

As he thought about his friends the man found himself grabbing clothing for the day before sneaking over to the bathroom. He had to be quiet, very quiet. Currently the man was rooming with children, Hannah and Bonnie, so he wanted to stay as quiet as he could. poor things needed their sleep. After a quick shower and trimming of his facial hair, the man simply got dressed. He was currently wearing a pair of jeans that where ripped at the knee's, proving his hard work over the years. There was a few patch work within them, obviously his own needle work. His shirt was a bit strange, being a dark red that had images from Europe, a place he had never been before but wished to see. There was a scarf around his neck, that had a few stars embroidery on it . Underneath it was a locket with the star symbol on it as well, something he ever took off. The man's hands where covered in fingerless gloves and around his wrist where hand made bracelets. His feet where covered in an old boots. Everything he wore was old and worn out but seemed to have a charm to it. He wasn't a money man and even though he was paid well the male tended to not enjoy spending it. It seemed like he was saving every penny for something but it was unknown. His little secret so to speak.

"Quelle heure est-il? " He asked himself before looking up to see the clock. At this time most of the staff should have been up. heading to their own desk or to the kitchen to get some nourishment for the day.' Ought to be headen there myself' He thought before opening the bathroom door as silent as he could. He then tried his best to sneak out of the room, closing the door softly behind him, before sneaking down the hallway of the 7th floor. He wanted to be as silent as a mouse as many of the people on this floor were children or patients who had horrible sleeping habits. "Morning, " He whispered when passing by a few other staff member's before joining one of them in the elevator. The ride down was quiet, mostly because most people hated the morning. He personally didn't mind it. It just meant he was closer to seeing Jessie again. When he got to the first floor then man hurried in his steps, wanting to see some faces and to get food. He would need it for today as it would be long. Much longer then the average day he suspected. ' A curse possibly,..' He thought however tried his best to keep that charming smile on his face.

When he walked in to the kitchen the man couldn't help but to glance around the room. Everyone appeared to be tried and walking to get some food as well. There was no sign of Jessie yet however there was some faces who made him smile just as much when seeing them. A part of him wanted to run over to them however he knew he had to get some food first. "Je vais manger,... " He muttered before realizing that he was speaking French. " Ah! Sorry,.. I mean to say I want Pancakes and grits chere." It took a bit before his food was done, forcing himself to take a seat in the back and simply started to much on his food.

Jessie found herself sitting on a swing that sat onto of a hill. From the swing she had a perfect view of the sky and of the meadow that was beneath her. She started to push herself back and forth slowly and hummed a small tune to herself. For some reason her body started to tense up and she feared that something bad was coming. Despite the feeling she continued to push herself on the swing. The breeze started to pick up and she clung to the swing. She no longer needed to push herself because the wind was doing all of that for her. Her main focus was on holding on in fear that she would fall. The wind was pushing her so high that all she needed to do was reach out and grasp the clouds that lay in front of her. Instead of reaching out for them she continued to cling onto the swing for dear life. She closed her eyes in fear of what was going to come next. With the rate the wind was blowing she was sure the swing would snap and send her sailing across the sky.

When she opened her eyes again everything was dark and the landscape around her had changed. She let go off the swing slowly and turned her attention towards the dark sky. The feeling of loneliness took over her and she hated it. Normally she would wonder around for what felt like hours looking for another soul, but no one was ever there. When she did find a person they always pushed her away. It reminded her of her childhood and she did not want to remember those feelings. Even though she did not want to wonder for some reason she found herself traveling through the dark world. She felt cold and to keep herself warm she started to warm her arms. A bit of her hoped that she did not run into her mother or anyone that did not want her. Her worse fear was that she would see one of her friends and they would push her away. Just that thought alone caused her to shudder. She was starting to wonder if she really had any friends.

Just as she found herself wondering deeper into the dark world, a small light started to fly around her. She watched it for a few seconds and then reached out and grasped it. When she opened her hands she was looking down at a firefly. It was rather amusing creature and it continued to circle around her hands. Its presence alone seemed to melt away her fears. As she was starting to smile the bug took off in a random direction and she found herself chasing after it. There was no way she was going to allow herself to be alone in this world. She had just closed in on the bug when it disappeared into a forest like area. As she pushed the leaves out of the way she found herself looking into a clearing. She could feel her heart racing when she spotted a shadow figure in the distance. A bit of her wanted to turn away, but she moved on towards the figure. When she got close to the figure the light from the firefly allowed her to see the figure’s face. The figure belonged to Remi and the moment she saw him she wrapped her arms around her. When he did not respond she feared that he was going to push her away like all the others. Her fears were pushed aside when she felt his arms around her. That action alone caused her to cry and she did not have to worry about being rejected anymore.

Jessie pulled herself closer to the warm feeling and let out a content sigh. For a moment she felt as if Remi was actually in the bed with her. When she opened her eyes she realized that the warm feeling was merely her pillow. In the past she would have been upset, but there was no reason for her to be angry seeing that she was now dating Remi. The idea alone caused her face to turn red and she laid her head back down into the pillow. One of these days she was going to take a pillow off of his bed, just so she could wake up to his wonderful smell. She lifted her eyes away from her pillow and noticed that she had woken up before her alarm clock. To make sure she did not wake up her roommate she turned her alarm off before it had the chance to even go off. She was not yet ready to get up, but the idea of wrapping her arms around Remi’s neck was all the motivation she needed. What was going to come next after she wrapped her arms around his neck was the spark that made her move a bit faster.

Once she was in the bathroom she stripped out of her clothes and climbed into the shower. While she moved through her morning routines she started to hum a tune that she heard when she was a child. It was a rather cheerful one and once in a while the words would switch from English to French. She stopped thinking about song and her thoughts moved to Remi. He was all she ever wanted and she was so glad she had now. Ever since she started working at the asylum she had a crush on him, but it seemed as if he never would return the feeling. Then one day things took a turn and she would never forget that day. She would never forget the day that he actually started to flirt back. One thing was for sure, when he spoke in French she nearly melted. He was just so perfect. She could not wait until she was close to him.

When she was done in the shower she moved over towards the next important process of brushing her teeth and then fixing her hair. The morning process usually took her a while, but today she was moving a bit faster. She held the towel tight to her body and then moved out into the room and started to get dressed. The only thing going through her head was seeing Remi and then some other people. She was a bit worried about Tia, but she promised Tia that she would not stress about her health. If she slipped any further she was going to talk to Remi. She was sure that he noticed how tired Tia was. Later on she was going to check in on her, but for now she was going to focus on other things. Once she was completely dressed she strolled out of the room and headed right for the kitchen.

Unlike most people who needed coffee or tea to wake up, all Jessie needed was to see Remi. He gave her all the energy in the world. She moved into the breakfast line and ordered her usual meal of toast and oatmeal. While her food was being prepared she started to look around the kitchen in search of Remi. She was just about to give up when she spotted him sitting in the corner. Now the only thing left was for her food to be ready. The moment her food was set down in front of her she picked it up and made her way towards Remi. She only paused to pick up some juice and then continued on towards him. When she was close she sat her tray down next to him and then leaned down and kissed his cheek. “Good morning Remi. You are looking real nice today.” She sat down in her chair and took a sip of her juice. “Did you sleep well last night?” She moved her chair a bit closer to him. She slept nicely but she was sure that it would have been real nice if she got to cuddle with Remi. It was still early and she did not have to get to work right away. Maybe if she was lucky she would get to spend a bit of alone time with him. She started to eat her breakfast and looked over at some of the people in the kitchen. She could not help, but smile as she sat next to Remi. He smelled wonderful and for some reason she could not stop smiling when he was around.

Snuggling up closer to the form beside her, the ginger smiled in her sleep-dreaming of who knows what. The calm before the storm was what her mornings usually consisted off, and today was going to be no different. Stirring mere second before her alarm went off, blinking her eyes open a few times staring into the darkness of her bedroom. The immediate feeling of doom washing over her as she unleashed the pillow from her grasp and rolled over on the large king sized bed. Not wanting to even glance at the time the clock was displaying. It would go one of two ways. One; she'd look and there would be plenty of time to go back to sleep, or two; it was going to go off any minute."Oh just look and get it over with." shutting her eyes tightly before turning her head and looking at the clock."Well, crap." the numbers were glowing at their full potential and she didn't even care if her loud moan of a raspy groan woke up her roommate husband. Shutting her eyes again and fulling back and fourth across the whole bed, she did have it to herself after all so why not take full advantage. She didn't particularly like sleeping alone, but there was no way she'd attempt to sleep with Sasha and she knew the feelings were mutual in this loveless relationship. In the beginning the talk of sleeping with one another came into conversation but it always never ended well, for both parties. They've tried it before and did do it when they had to but there was a reason they had requested a cot to be brought into their room. They'd used the excuse of being sick to get it, and just never returned it yet.

Ivy on certain days had to get up a little earlier then normal since she worked in the kitchens. Preparing the menus and getting everything prepped for the main cooks to go on their duties, stuff like that. She did the cooking too and meals, but she mostly worked between the dedicated meal times so her shifts were more chill and not as stressful. Today was not one of those days that she had to get up early or before the crack of dawn. Her menus had been made up already and today was a special pick what you wanted to breakfast kind of day. Lunch and dinner were already prepared with the meal options and things like that. "Oka girl, up you go." pushing herself into a sitting position and letting her feet hang of the bed just for a few seconds before standing up and reaching her arms clear above her head. Getting in a good stretch before dropping back down into a more relax position. Having already forgotten about the impending doom of an alarm clock that was suppose to be going off any minute, the second she'd taken a couple steps it started to blare and beep, buzzing loudly." Heavens!" getting spooked at the sudden sound of mixed radio songs and mostly loud static. Tripping over her feet and the cot that was laid out on the floor holding her sleeping husband. Landing ontop of his body with a 'oaf staying there and catching her breath, looking up at him with a sheepish smile, the alarm still going off. " Goodmorning honey~" the sarcasm dripping as she scurried off. Of well he needed to be getting up also anyway, might as well be right now.

She was usually much more graceful, still a little childish and a tad stubborn but she wasn't ever tripping as much as this morning. This marriage had made her so paranoid and jumpy, her nerves just never wanted to settle down." Thank god for his and her sinks. . ." that still felt weird to even think about, she never imagined that at twenty three she'd be married. Hell she always pictured the day she got married would be full of bliss and they she'd be happily in love and all good things. That there would be affection, no lies and lots of sex. Not like this, a quick hitch for the benefits and a loveless cold partnership that had her on pins and needles. The ending could be way worse then the marriage if anything was ever found out about the. Stupid father for getting himself and her into so much debt that they couldn't even stay afloat. She was sending home all the money she made pretty much just to help his a**, who knew if he was actually using it to get himself help, or just ruining them more. If there was no word, she'd have to take matter into her own hands even more. Sasha and her had met through a sketchy craigslist add, you know the ones people warned you not to get into. Usually ended in a murder on one of the ends, this one felt like it would, but instead ended in a quick marriage and a sitting session that lasted hours thinking up the perfect story to tell everyone they would ever meet. just perfect.

" Since you're up now. Turn off that alarm." sticking her head out of the bathroom, toothbrush hanging out of her mouth, her hair already half up as she was brushing int out. There was more silence on her end, some spitting and water running before she spoke again." Anything specific you want for breakfast? I'll have it ready by the time you come down." just because the marriage was loveless didn't mean she couldn't be nice and do things for him like a wife would. It was only a few minutes later and she'd come out of the bathroom just as he was walking into it, slipping past his body as they both went through the door at the same time. Taking advantage of him being occupied in the other room to change into her clothes for the day. She liked to look nice, and still be comfortable. A flowered dress with a thin gray jacket. Sitting down on the bed, she pulled on her black knee high socks just to see Sasha come out of the bathroom." Seem my other pink shoe?" Pulling one out from under the bed while the other went missing. Standing up and looking around with no luck, she knew it had just been there yesterday." Thanks.." slowly taking it's mate from the males hands and putting them both one, lacing up and jumping up to leave." I'll bring the food out when you get down, don' forget to put your ring on." taking her own out of the small bowl by the door and slipping it onto her finger, before slipping out of the door letting it shut behind her. Dropping her keys into her secret dress pockets. She made her way quickly from the eight floor down to the first and clocked in before grabbing her chef coat, a nice brown one. Slipping it on over her clothes, the place was still quiet and dead, as the staff would soon be started to shuffle in for their morning coffee and food.

She made sure that the three coffee pots has been turned on and were already making the different selections of caffeine for the staff. Also a supply of sugars and creams for those who didn't take it black. Then she also set out the different tea selection among the tables. Once she was done doing her rounds, people had started to come in as she could hear the chatter while she was in the back making food for herself and Sasha, she didn't have much to do for her own preparations until breakfast was over." Ndale, I'm stepping out to eat, I'll be back at the end of breakfast to relieve you of your shift." call to the main cook, as she grabbed the plates and bowls on her arms carrying them out. She saw Sasha coming into the cafeteria just as she entered. Giving him a sweet smile, they were in public so the happy couple scam was being put into play." Morning Yelena, Nick. Here is the food you wanted." turning to Sasha as she set it on the table. It was usually for them to each breakfast with his sister and Nick of course.

Placing a bed facing north or south bring misfortune, that was it. That was the reason he as stuck in a child's room without his brother. He was one of the lucky generated random staff member that would forever have to room with patients under twenty until he he died. Or for a more reasonable thought until his brother was well enough and they could leave together and live on their own again. It wasn't so bad, at least so far her only had one other roommate, as the other two slot were open and free to fill once more people got checked into the asylum. Turning over in his bed (one of the ones not facing in the north or south direction) his eyes glanced to Victor; such a strange boy. He never felt any hard feelings for him, actually even with the boy being younger he still kind of freaked him out, but he wouldn't admit it to his face, maybe a passing person how the kid would sometimes send chills up his spine but nothing else."What if someone's told him..oh dear, oh dear dear dear." shaking his head quickly back and fourth on his pillow quickly pulling his blankets up to his face, leaving only his eyes uncovered as they stared at the ceiling now. One of the fans in the room was pointing towards his bed, and the soft hum was almost soothing and he would have been falling back asleep if it hadn't been for the ray of sun that came streaming through the window right next to his bed." Oh, d-dear. I w-will be l-late!" throwing his covers off and getting tangles in the process, he was making a lot of sounds for the morning, going out of bed, flipping his leg over but stopping a second before his left leg touched the floor quickly pulling it back and curling into a tight ball, breathing hard." Oh dear, oh oh oh too close." putting your leg leg out when you get out of bed in the morning before your right was bad luck, he couldn't have that! Letting his breathing calm down before putting his right leg down and letting out a sigh of relief before getting out of bed fully and walking to the bathroom. The thoughts of being late already out of his mind. There wasn't much a handy man and gardener to do so early. The other more advanced landscapers and gardeners took care of most things, while he got small side projects and once in awhile helped them with bigger things anyway.

Walking to the bathroom was a success in everyday possible, as his mind was calm. Getting into the shower to was off all his nightly worries and sweat from all the terrifying dreams he'd had last night. It took him longer to get ready in the morning then some people, mostly some men as he had to always double check things, making sure he did this or did that. Did he close the lid on his hair gel? Oh once check, a couples seconds later another check and then maybe two more times later on. Did he put this item away or did he do this? Who knew, and always the jumpy person every time someone knocked on the bathroom door. He didn't mind people sharing the bathroom with him, it wasn't like he roomed with any girls just yet, so he'd move over to his own station to get ready and be the polite person moving out of the way every time he felt like he was in the way, which was always." I wonder inf Windslow is up, I should go get him. Or maybe not his roommate might get mad. Then that would cause problems, I don;t want him mad at me. Maybe he hates me already, I'll ask. Or rather I don't want to know..Time time what time is it?" Coming out of the bathroom as he finished buttoning up his shirt. Rolling the sleeves up next almost ready to get going.

Sitting down on the floor, Judas put his right shoe on before his left and stood up looking at the clock with internal dread following, it was almost close to the time breakfast was ending, he hoped the other hadn't needed him this morning. Already going over the hundreds of ways their conversations could be going when he found them. Figuring Lir and Keira might still be eating he would go find them and see what they would like him to do today. He knew he had to tend to the pool area and greenhouses today for sure. Also that they had to make sure the outside was clear for the next few days until the fourth. Judas hated the fourth, well he hate fireworks. They were always so loud and they could fall over and shoot at you and you'd be hurt. The sparklers were almost to much for him, with Windslow around at least his was calm enough. The smoke bombs were fun but chokes him, the snakes terrified him, and even those poppers made him run. He was the biggest wuss around. He liked his brother around, everything seems fine like nothing could hurt him, it was when he got nervous his brain started to malfunction and everything was out to get him, He used to be normal, near death experiences take a lot out of you really." I hope the elevator isn't full, and Windslow comes down soon." making his way to the mechanical machine, he never took the stairs. Passing someone on the stairs was bad luck, he always had a variety of lucky items stored away on him to fight off all the bad luck he might hit through out the day.

Walking into the elevator after it open, his finger slowly pushed the ground floor button, waiting to be brought down." Did I grab my keys?" mild panic as he gave himself a pat down only to let out a breath that made him stumble back. It was all good they were located in his pocket. The elevator stopping on the third floor, looking around he didn't see anyone getting in, which made him shiver, as the doors closed again." I w-wonder if Windslow i-is in his room. Maybe he got put in confinement and I didn't hear. Oh dear." Letting his mind wander as the impossible events, e had walked him to his room last night so he did know right where his brother would be located. Soon the ding and five seconds of butterflies in his stomach, signaled the male that the ride had came to an end. Waiting those few moments before the doors opened."What if they never opened, I would be trapped." holding his breath unintentionally, before running out of the metal contraption.
As he walked down the hall, Sooh was coming up to him smiling sheepishly in greeting."Morning D-directot S-S-Sooh." then right after the word left his mouth and smiled back and wished him a good morning before moving on. (Asking if he was all right of course) he regretted everything. What if she had wanted be called doctor or mrs. or another title and not director. Owner maybe or. biting his lips and twitching as he made he way into the cafeteria. Going straight to the order line looking all around as he waited for his turn to reach the window. Ordering just a bowl of cheerios and some toast, adding a nice glass of apple juice. He took his tray and searched the room. He felt like he stuck out like a sore thumb when really nobody was even taking notice of him. Spotting his fellow coworkers, and walking up to their table sitting down, already nervous by their stares." M-morning, Lir, Keiara. C-can I s-sit with you?" setting his stuff on the table and taking a seat very slowly.

Dreams had to be the best thing that God could have ever granted people. The other day was rather crappy in his book. He got to spend most of his time with Azriel, but he hated being bothered by those stupid nurses. They were always trying to give him medicines and he hated the way they smelled. He had never told anyone why he hated them, but he did give hints to Azriel. At the other asylum the bastards were always stabbing him with things and when he decided to get rough with them, he was locked up. They were the ones that started it and since he did not give them his permission they did not have a right to touch him. Most of the meds that they had him on always made him feel loopy and tired. They had promised that it would help him, but if they really wanted to help him they would have let him see Azriel. Granted this place was nothing like that other asylum, but he still hated the nurses and most of the doctors. There were only a few doctors he liked and that was because there was something off about them. Regardless everyday always started off the same. Some nurse would always be there when he opened his eyes. They always wanted to make sure he took his medicine.

At least in his dreams he did not have to worry about them. In fact, in his current dream he was torturing a nurse. He got a kick out of the way that she screamed and he loved sawing off of her body parts. There were so many things he wanted to do with her and the fun was really just getting started when he heard his name. It sounded very distant so he pushed it off and tried to focus on his dream again. As the sound grew he knew that he would be unable to sleep any longer. The voice that was calling his name did not belong to anyone that he cared for. The only person he cared for in the morning was Azriel. He was charming to some people, but that was only after he talked to Azriel. There was a pecking order in his life and he hated when people disturbed it.

Leon opened one eye slowly and looked up at the person that dared to bother him. He had seen this woman around here before, but he had no reason to deal with her. It was a bit refreshing not to see the same old nurse; her face was growing rather bothersome. He could see her face even when he closed his eyes. As a matter of fact she was the person he had been torturing in his dreams. He continued to stare at her while she talked and when he noticed the medicine coming towards him, he used his hand to knock her hand away. The idea of sleeping had been ruined and he decided it was best to wake up. He ignored what the woman had been saying and started to push right past her. Before he did that he caught sight of that rather annoying nurse. She was standing off in the corner as if she was afraid to come near him. The last time they were alone he had placed a needle close to her eyeball and promised that he would push it in if she kept bothering him. Maybe this new woman was coming to replace her. Then again he was sure that if she had said anything to anyone he would be in trouble. It seemed that she had taken his threat serious about keeping her mouth closed.

Just to mess with her, he flashed her a rather charming smile and then turned back towards the woman that had the nerve to be close to him. The look in his eyes told her that she needed to learn her place, but he still had not bothered to open his mouth. There was a reason he was staying silent for now. He continued past her into the bathroom and closed the door to make sure that she would not bother him. The first thing he did was moved towards the sink and brushed his teeth. When he was done he smiled in the mirror and ran his tongue over his teeth, “Perfect.” He hated morning breath more than anything and he did not like talking unless he had brushed his teeth. After all, he wanted his words to be threatening, not his breath. He tossed his clothes into the hamper and got into the shower. Normally he usually just hummed in the shower but today he felt like having a bit of fun. He decided to sing one of his favorite songs but changed but changed up a bit of the words.

“All the world seems in tune on a summer afternoon, when I’m torturing nurses in the asylum.” He stuck his head out of the shower just for them to hear the next part. “When they see me coming, the nurses all try and hide, but they still fall victim to my favorite cyanide. The sun’s shining bright; ev’rything seems all right, when I’m torturing nurses in the asylum.” He stuck his head back into the shower and finished the process of washing up. Once he had a towel wrapped around him he strolled over to the mirror. He ran a comb through his hair and decided to go out and see if the nurses were still around. It was a shame that the woman was still around, but they he had not taken his meds so it was not a complete shock. He did notice that his usual nurse looked a bit disturbed but that did not bother him. She knew what was coming next and he was not going to hold back once he was done dressing.

It did not take him long to pull on his clothing and when he was done he stood up from his bed and made his way over towards his favorite nurse. Without giving her any warning he pulled her close to him and started to dance around the room. He was dancing to the tune in his head and he could feel her struggling a bit. “Now, now, let’s not be the cliché victim.” She seemed to get the message and after a few more steps he released her and looked at the new nurse. “I don’t know who you are, but I think it is best if you learn to never cross me. It is worse that I have to look up at your face, but if you keep pushing me, I will cut your tongue out of your mouth and then ram it down your throat.” He flashed her a charming smile and started to move close to her. “Now I am going to ask you a few questions and you are going to answer them.” He stopped when he was in front of her and looked her over, “What is your name and how long do you think it will take before you break?” The last nurse had said she would never break and yet there she was keeping her distance from him.

Without giving her any warning he snatched the medicine from her and downed it. If he was going to be taking any medicine it would be on his terms. He did not work on their clocks, but his own. He looked her over some more and a twisted smile came to his face, “I am going to enjoy messing with you. Hopefully you will last much longer than that pathetic woman over there.” He motioned in the nurses direction and then moved away from her. He needed to get to Azriel soon, just looking at these women made him want to do something twisted. “I think it is best if you all take your leave, unless of course you are dying to say something to me.” He looked Sybil in the eye and waited for her response.

They were all mad here, she was sure of it. They claimed to be the best at what they did, but she saw past all of that. They were a bunch of liars. All they wanted to do was kill her. She had been a fool to think that they would actually help her out. In the past she could not see behind their sweet smiles, but now she could. They were all devils and she was not about to allow them the sweet victory of claiming her soul. She had been stupid enough to tell them her weakness and she was never going to do that again. The shadows had stopped trying to harm her in the real world and started to attack her in her dreams. They wanted to drag her off into the darkness, but she was not going to allow that to happen. No matter how she tried, they seemed to have complete control over her dream world. Each time she fell asleep she felt as if she was closer to death. In an attempt to save her own life she had reached out to some of the staff members. They had given her medicines that put her sleep and they promised the dreams would stop. It never did stop and when she told them about it, they tried different methods. In the end they always wanted her to go to sleep. How could her friends want her to go to sleep?

She had to be a fool to trust them and to think out of everyone she trusted Remi the most. He was supposed to be her guardian and yet he was on their side. Her mother had to be a fool to trust him with her life. When she was younger he seemed like a trustworthy person, but now she had doubts. He was the main one really pushing for her to sleep. There were times when he checked in on her to make sure she was sleeping. He knew how she felt about sleeping and yet it felt as if he was still insisting on her sleeping. The facts about the human body needing sleep meant nothing to her. He was not a doctor and the doctors in this place were crazy. She was not going to trust them and she never would trust Remi. He was her second enemy. Anyone that wanted her sleeping could not be her friend.

Wait, what was she talking about. How could she ever view Remi of all people as her enemy? He had looked after her when she was little and he was like a second father to her. He was there for her when she was sad and he always made her feel better. There was no way anyone like him could ever be her enemy. He was a kind soul and he really did have her best interest in mind. Out of all the people in this asylum he would be the last one that would want to harm her. It was a shame that she was ready to turn on others that did not really mean her any harm. This lack of sleep was starting to get to her and she really just wanted to close her eyes for a few minutes. As tempting as it was to sleep, she decided that it would be best just to read or draw something. Keeping herself active would keep sleep at bay and then she did not have to worry about the shadows attacking her.

Tia pushed herself off of the bed and was about to place her book away when a funny feeling came over her. She looked down at the book in her hand and tried to remember just when she finished the book. She had just picked the book out and somehow she was already done with it. Maybe while she was reading the book she spaced out, regardless she had read the last page and that was all that mattered. She tucked the book away on the shelf and was about to pull out another book when she thought she heard someone knocking on the door. It was probably one of the nurses coming to check in on her as usual. When she opened the door there was no one standing there. She closed the door again and just as she was walking away there was another knocking sound. Once again there was no one standing there. Her patients was running low and she had no times for these games. “Victor this is not funny. Now show yourself.” She stepped out into the hallway expecting for someone to appear, but no one was there. What bothered the most was the fact that there was no one walking the halls.

As she scanned the hallways a faint sound of music started to fill the air. At first she could not hear what was being played but as the sound increased she felt her heart rate going up. Out of fear she ran back into her room and slammed the door just as the voices started their normal chant. “Are you ready?” She backed away from the door and looked down at the knob as it started to turn. To keep the person out she pushed a chair in front of the door and just watched as they continued to try and get in. Her attention was pulled from the door when she heard the chant coming from inside of her room. All of her lights were on and as a shadow started to pry off of the wall she tossed an object at it. It continued to move forward and as it moved it continued its chant, “Are you ready?” She backed away from the wall and was going to go for the door when she saw that it was still moving. “No get away from me.” She noticed her flashlight was on the other side of her bed and was going for it when she felt the figures hand wrap around her leg. The pull caused her to fall to the ground and even though she was trying to knock it off of her, it would not loosen its grip.

Out of desperation she tried reaching for the flashlight but it was out of reach. She was forced to stop thinking about the flashlight when she felt the creature moving up her body. Once its hands were around her neck she could fell her air being cut off. More than anything she needed to wake up. She had not even realized that she had fallen asleep and now she was paying the price. As the world around her was turning dark she noticed a pair of scissors under her bed. She wrapped her hand around it and instead of stabbing the shadow, she brought the blade down into her own body.

Tia's eyes snapped open and she quickly tried to gain control over her breathing. Her throat felt a bit sore and rubbed some of the tears away from her eyes. She had played it too close and almost paid the price. Reading was not helping which meant she was going to have to use other methods. Once she got her breathing back under control she pushed the book off of her lap and listened for the sounds of the asylum. There was no music which meant that she was safe for now. To make sure that she was up she decided to do a simple test. She inflicted a small amount of pain on her body and when nothing around her changed she let out a sigh of relief. She hated more than anything the dreams that seemed to never end. There was no real time to dwell on how she felt since she needed to get up and ready. The last thing she needed was for anyone to see that she had not been sleeping again. She was going on the third day without any sleep. To think she had nearly died when she had only been asleep for twenty minutes. If she had been sleep any longer she would not be so lucky.

There was still enough time for her to get something to eat, but first she needed to cool off. She had washed up early in the morning, but throwing some water on her face would help push the dream to the back of her mind. It took her ten minutes to cool back down and when she was sure she could face other she made her way back out into her room and started to get dressed. Before she walked out of her room she made sure to put on some makeup to hide the dark circles under her eyes. The last thing she wanted was for someone to worry about her or to stop her. She was not in the mood to talk to any doctors and she really did not want to talk to Rick.

She had just reached the end of her hallway when she spotted Remi. Normally he was one of the first people that she saw in the morning. He looked a bit tired, but she was sure that it was probably because of work. “Good morning Remi.” She gave him a quick hug and did her best not to give him direct eye contact. The last thing she wanted was for him to study her face. “Before you ask I slept well last night. I actually have a lot of energy, but I am kind of hungry. I was going to grab Victor and then I was going to get something to eat.” She flashed him a weak smile and gave him eye contact for a few seconds. More than anything she wanted to tell him what was wrong and then pass out. Falling asleep was out of the question and she did not need him to worry about her. She was just about to say something to him when she thought she spotted something dark moving in the distant. She tried focusing on the area but whatever she saw was gone. It was probably her mind playing tricks on her again.

Whatever she had thought she saw had captured her attention for a while and she had forgotten that she was talking to Remi. “Sorry about that, I was just thinking about something.” It was yet again another lie, but she had gotten use to it. She did not like what she was doing, but this was a game of survival and she was not going to lose. To help pull the attention off of her she hugged his arm, “You look a bit tired. You should get a lot of sleep tonight. They are working you real hard.” She nuzzled his arm for a few seconds and then let him go. “I really need to get going. Victor can be a grouch when he does not have some tea or eat.” She leaned up and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek and then darted away. She did not want to answer any of his questions and she was not going to. If she could she would avoid answering them all day.

Before he could say anything else she darted for the stairwell and ran up to Victor’s floor. By the time she reached his level her body was exhausted and she was ready to just drop. She rested on his door for a bit before she started to knock. It felt like eternity before he answered the door and when he did she rested her head on him and let out a low yawn. “Good morning sleepy head are you ready for breakfast.” She did not pay much attention to how he was dressed. Instead she moved past him and sat down on his bed. “Are you ready to get breakfast or do you want to sit around and talk for a bit?” Around him she did not try to act like everything was fine. In fact she looked tired and wanted to lie back on his bed. She pushed the idea off and looked to him for some ideas on what he wanted to do.

"You'll neva' amount ta anythin' Fishbone." The words rang in his head, causing the bad memory to linger on. Nolan never minded being called Fishbone. He was much too skinny for his own good. However, he did hate it when his father used the nickname in a hateful way. The boy knew that his father loved him but deep down he couldn't help but feel.....not wanted. Nolan wasn't the rough and tough kind of guy his father wanted. The man had wanted a son with bulging muscles and a chest full of hair. Someone who could hold a car above his head with a pinky, despite that being physically impossible, His father was optimistic for that kind of thing. Instead he got Nolan. Noodle arms and all. "You'll neva' amount ta anythin' Fishbone." There it was again. Another little reminder of just how worthless Nolan was. Even in his sleep the male huffed out of frustration before rolling over and facing the wall.

Not only was Nolan a disappointment in the strength department, but he was also a disappointment in the 'lifestyle choices' department. The male had left home at the peak of a fight with his father and got a job at the asylum. Yes, You heard right, The asylum. Citricos Asylum, a place for the insane or whatever. Most of the people here heard or saw things, that or they had a bit of an anger issue. The people didn't scare him – that was what he told himself at least. The eighteen year old could walk around most of the time and feel pretty safe, there was only a few patient that really gave him the creeps. So he tried to stay away from them for his own safety. Wimpy slap-punches could only get him so far in life, and for some reason using that method didn't seem like the best idea in a place like this. So he kept to himself and a few of his friends. Which were mostly patients, but the less crazy ones. At least that was what he hoped. Nolan only knew the stuff that he was told. He didn't have the privilege of looking at patient files, of course there were a few that he didn't want to look at in case there were pictures. But he did have friends here, some of them more special than others.

Suddenly the male felt a light touch on his shoulder, which made him curl up like a roly poly. A voice said his name and told him to wake up. Nolan shook his head, causing his hair to be even messier, than grumbled. "Nooooo. Gimme 10 more minutes mom." The boy huffed out and pulled the covers over him more. Before the male could fall back asleep he felt something touch his sides causing him to jump. He was being....tickled?! Nolan flailed out of desperation to get away but the girl had a real hold on him. Finally the boy could help but laugh, his body curling up in an attempt to protect himself - which wasn't working. The female finally stopped and took a step back, it was then that Nolan saw it was just his roommate Sybil. "Sorry, sorry." The boy started as he shoved his thin hand through his messy hair to push it out of his face. "You should a little like my mom when I'm half-asleep." The boy grinned as he tried to explain himself. Sybil was a woman of rules and regulations, she was stern, so he felt the need to explain even if it was a bit of a stretch.

Sybil than mentioned that if Nolan was to ever call her mother again that she would tell Tove. Almost instantly the boy's freckled face became a bright red. He flailed out of bed, landing on the floor with a thud before stumbling and standing up, his face still red and his hair a mess. "Don't tell Tove. Come on Sybil, she'll totally use that to her advantage. It's not fair!" He tried to defend himself, but Sybil was already heading out the door with her gear. "Sybillllll~" Nolan groaned as the door shut and he was left alone. "She won't tell her.....right?" The boy pushed that from his head as he looked at the clock and saw what time it was. The boy took a quick shower, lasting only 15 minutes, before getting out and drying himself off the best he could. He opened his closet and pulled out a simple long-sleeved green shirt, brown pants, and some boots. It was wayyyy too hot for clothes like that but it was really all he had. Nolan really needed to go and buy some cooler clothes, but he didn't have time now. After changing the male grabbed his set of keys and headed out of his room to the the main lobby.

Once there, the male walked right out the front door, taking a moment to curse his clothing choice once more before heading to the garden. After a minute or two of looking at all the flowers, Nolan decided on one and plucked it from the ground. He made his way back inside and reached over the front desk to get two pieces of tape, swiftly heading back to the first floor rooms. "Floor 1, Room 3" His eyes darted to read one of the name plates on the side. "Tove~" Her name rolled off his tongue so easily as if he was meant to say it. Nolan could say her name a million times without ever getting tired of hearing it. The male came out of his daydream state and quickly tapped the flower to the door. It was a bit ghetto, he had to admit that, but hopefully the girl would see it. Shoving his hands into his pockets the male lingered for a moment longer as if Tove were just going to open the door right then and there. But she didn't. A grin spread across his face as he slowly walked away and headed to the kitchen where he was meant to be. He grabbed an apple from the counter and started to eat it, leaning against one of the walls by himself. Nolan would have to get to work soon. There was probably a ton of things broken that needed to be fixed.

Victor's eyes were wide open by the time Seven am rolled around, staring down at the pages of a book he took from the library. Today's read was called 'The Archaeology of Human Bones' by a man named Simon Mays. Studying bones was not something he truly cared for however the lack of interesting science books on how the human works was dwindling in the asylum. Over the few months he has been here he has already been reading most of their text books and even a few of their articles from the Doctors themselves. He had to know who was truly worth his time after all. Most of the staff seemed to hold a lower IQ then himself however he supposed it was not their fault. They only were able to have one form of education while he was able to rule under a life style that allowed pure medical freedom. ' Speaking of idiots,..' He thought when watching a few nurses walk in to his room. It was the same two morning nurses who tended to check up on the younger patients. They never gave up but maybe this morning they would. " Victor you must get be still now,' He heard one of them say, holding a strong hint in the woman's voice. Maybe she was finally growing confident ,.. This certainly could be a decent morning then. ' Sorry roomie,' He thought before glancing over at the sleeping form of his roommate. ' But this is for science.'

"Your not Doctor Ra." He was wearing nothing but some boxer's, showing off the ghastly body that seemed appalling. He was not abused like some of the children there, oh no. In fact he came here in great condition, but the nurses whispered about him as they have only scene so many strange things. But he held something new , even for the older one's that that scene it all in the madness of body modification world. See the boy was sitting there pale as a ghost, having dark rings of a pure insomniac staring back at the nurses. His body held stitching, thick stitching that was only found on today's fashion but being made from a strange material. It expanded and there was no sign of it being infected, which was a miracle by it's self. The stitching was self done obviously as there was a sign of never learning the true medical stitching. It was around the youth's next, giving a clear sign that he had help. It was nicely healed over too, possibly a few years old, possibly five or four. The stitching on his wrist, upper arms and his ankles where done the same way. So old and so painful but there was one in particular that was going to give the nurses nightmares for their entire life's.

Going from his neck to his torso was a "Y" shaped stitching mark, although this was one being healed much to his protest. They had heard reports of this young man being found in the middle of a grave yard, surrounded with dug up corpses wrapped in blankets and barb wire. The crime wasn't shocking as it had been an underground job for years in the united kingdom. However the sight of a boy laying down in a sanitized limb with a body mirror in front of him and taking a scalpel to his chest was horrifying. He showed no sign of pain as the police watched with disgust for a few moments before stopping him and calling the paramedics. It was a good thing too as them being in there was both a curse and a blessing for Victor as they had un-sanitized the surgery room but at the same time he knew he went too keep. He had opened the dead too many times not to know it. So now the boy held a healing mark of the "Y", still fresh as he was found a month ago and was sent here two weeks ago. Normally it would have taken longer but he had a good lawyer. A very good one that got his trial date up even when he was lying in the hospital, testifying in the bed and pleading the insanity plea.

Now he was here though and causing distress for the nurses who where currently looking over him as if he was a show. He truly did not like it. He knew he had to let them as his condition forced it. Heck he had to get a check up ever few hours because of it. Not that it mattered to him as he had spent most of his life without going threw this embarrassment. "Doctor Ra is a very busy woman and we are just as capable in preforming this duty. One of the nurses said as she lifted up his arm to check for any bruises. Normal people would have just nodded their head but they did understand Victor. He was very bright and being bright meant that sometimes he did not understand in how to act with people. "Your not capable at all. If it takes two of you to preform a duty made for one then your both nescient nitwits. Fatuous dolts who probably got C's in nursing." As he spoke he watched their expressions carefully and something seemed to tick away at his brain. " And your both umbrageous dingbats. You don't even know the English language!" Their eyes where shinning with hate and it was lovely. He watched as one reached over towards their bags to take out something, probably to help calm him down. Now what was that chemical called again?

"Don't think so!" He said suddenly as he kicked his legs forward, both being separate and thus kicking both nurses in front of him. He watched with amusement as they both started to get up and reach for the radio. "Good. Call someone who can do you job. I dare you to call someone not from the shallow end of the gene pool." A smile seemed to appear on his face as he watched them ponder for a second. "Tell Doctor Ra of your success. I bet she will love you. " At the mention though of Doctor Ra the two ladies seemed to run out of the room. He knew they did not fear the lovely Doctor like the patients did but he was sure they were fearing for their jobs. Still he guessed they got the job done and that's all that mattered. With a huff he hopped off his bed before walking over towards his closet and simply took out the odd clothing he was going to wear today. He took out his clothing before walking over towards the bathroom to change. Putting on his clothing easy, wearing torn jeans that had dirt stains and other questioninable ones, a horror film shirt, and a pair of iron fist shoes that his mothers brought him. For accessories he had zombie plugs, wrist cuffs and a pair of strange glasses. The hardest part was his hair. It took over all tweenty minuets to spike up his hair and keep them in to place.

When his hair was dry the youth suddenly swore he had heard a knock, causing him to pause and quickly grab his back. As he opened the door the youth couldn't help but to allow an amused smile appear on his face. However it all died when she rested her head on his own causing him to quickly lean back and check on his hair." You know I work hard on this! " He said with slight distress in his voice. After he made sure that his hair was still perfect, the youth couldn't help but to pause and think about her offer. " It is very nourishing to have such food,.. Necessary for our bodies. " He muttered before glancing up at her tired eyes. Both of them held that exhausted look however both very different reasons for it. She could not sleep for mental reasons while he could not sleep for he had to study. Research was very important if he was to one day discover how to bring form life from the dead. To find the answer to the ultimate question. The question everyone would need to ask for that day when they lose someone so dear that it drives them to madness. "We could both use coffee. " He said with a minor shrug of his shoulders.

"Hopefully the staff wont bicker for caffeine stunting ones growth this morning. " He muttered in annoyance. " Wives tale from a study on elderly who showed reduced bone mass and osteoprosis who drank eighteen once a day. You only need to worry if your over sixty years old and have a variation with Vitamin D or hold a 1,200 g of calcium a day. The only true warning is a bigger waist line and staining teeth...Unless one of use gets pregnant then that's a whole lovely rant which I am more then sure you are bored of." He always had a nasty habit of ranting about medical facts, even minor ones such as food and dietary fun. It wasn't something he intended to do but it just slipped out. This was one of the main reasons why many people in the asylum could not stand being around the youth. Imagine someone telling you all the ways of how your body could shut down while your eating donuts. ' Possibly should stop that,..' He thought before shaking his head no. Their expressions were funny. as the two walked down the hallway he could not help but to wonder why Tia never left him. Others would grow tired of his science facts or be scared...But Tia was never afraid. She always gave him a smile, one that reminded him of his mothers. She was a rare flower in this asylum and some days he understood why Remi and Jessie would kill anyone if they hurt her.

When they walked in to the kitchen the first thing Victor could smell was the food! Ndale and his team must have been working hard this morning as everything smelled amazing. " Eggs, back bacon, tattie scone, buttered toast, baked beans, and coffee! " He explained while walking up to the front. His accent was poking out more and more as he spoke. As his food was being made his eyes wandered over to his ...Family. Lir and Poppy. They were cousins by one of his mothers side, however they did not stay much in contact. The only reason he even know of them was because one of his mothers got ahold of Lir. He seemed alright. Definitely related to his mom for their attitude in protection and eyes, however he seemed to be over protective of his daughter Poppy. She was a nice girl,...Although he was never going to trust her with a beaker or teaching him how to swim. ' Pretty face and not sure on her IQ,...This must be found. '' He thought before grabbing a plait and headed over to the nearest table. " Got anything planned for the 4th? Hear they gonna 'ave some grand of a party. "

Isla's bright blue eyes fluttered open, a little yawn escaping her lips. The young female rubbed her eyes gently as she sat up, making sure to not hit her head on the bunk above her. Isla reached over and grabbed a little book off of her desk and flipped through it till she found the right page. "Let's see. No school today, so the kids will need to be watched. Only 2 appointments as well. Of course that can always change. Maybe a child will loose a tooth today, oh it's so exciting!" The words spurted out of her mouth quickly. Probably too quick for anyone but her to comprehend. Isla shut the book and placed it back on her table before sitting up. Her bare feet touched the soft carpet and slowly the female stood. It was still early, she could take a shower and get ready. By the time she was done she could start waking her roommate up and head to breakfast. Good, she had a little plan. Isla gathered her clothes for the day and made her way into the bathroom to take a quick shower. The female tried to be quiet both in and out of the shower, Especially when she blow dried her hair, which was done as quick as she could. It was hot outside and she had to work with children today so she chose something simple and comfortable. A flower print corset, shorts, and flipflops, with minimal gold jewelry for a touch of flair. To top it off Isla put on one of her many sharktooth necklaces. Giving herself one last look in the mirror, the female pulled the lock of blonde hair out of all the blue so it could be seen. There. She was ready for the day.

Isla made her way out of the bathroom and into the main room. Just like she had planned, it was time to start waking up her roommates. First she walked over to London's bed and shook him gently. "London darling. It's nearly time to get up." Isla than made her way over to Olive's bed and shook her as well. "Olive. It's about time to get up, your friends will be waiting for you~" She said softly. "I'm heading out now. If you're not at breakfast in a bit than I'll come check up on you, okay?" When the young female gave her some sign of comprehension than Isla walked away. She grabbed her book, keys, and a few other objects, stuffing them into her bag before putting it over her shoulder. Isla took one last look at the two before leaving the room to head to breakfast. Hopefully they would wake up soon and come to breakfast. They were usually pretty good about it, but on the occasion they wanted to sleep in. Isla was a bit of a push-over at times so she would sometimes allow them to continue sleeping. Only if they had nothing planned that day. She just wanted to stay on their good sides.

The blue haired female made her way to the elevator and pressed the button, humming as she waited for it to open. When it did she stepped in, pressed the button for floor 1 and waited once more. It didn't take long before the doors opened once more and the female stepped out. The building was still quiet since only the staff was really up. Patients would be expected to be awake for a bit longer. Isla would enjoy the little bit of peace she had before going to work. Not that she minded it being loud and fun, it was just that the quiet was nice as well. The female headed off towards the kitchen, her flip flops clicking against the tile with every step. Isla opened the door to the kitchen and walked in. Almost instantly the smell of food hit her nose causing her poor, empty stomach to growl. The young female practically skipped over to the counter where Ndale and a few other workers were. "Good morning Blair, Ndale, Edith~" Isla said happily. "Your food smells delicious as always. I sure wish I could cook like you." A sheepish grin spread across her face. Isla could cook decently, but nowhere near like how Ndale could cook. When asked what she wanted to eat the female thought a moment "Hmm. I'll take the chefs choice~" With that the female moved around the corner to grab a mug and poured herself some coffee.

Mid sip, the blue haired girl glanced over, seeing Reef beside her. Isla sucked in, instantly regretting that move as she sat her cup on the counter and started coughing. Taking a moment to compose herself, Isla finally took a breath and looked over at Reef. Once again a sheepish grin spread across her face. "Hi. Good morning." Isla mentally scolded herself for being so awkward. He was just a guy. A really cute guy with nice hair, perfect eyes, a good sense of humor, oh, and his smile.....The female blinked, realizing that she was staring at him. Her long fingers found their way around her mug as she lifted it up to take another drink, her eyes wandering around the room. "I'm Isla by the way. Dentist and Child Caretaker. I know I've introduced myself before, but a constant reminder helps the brain remember." Wow. That wasn't dorky at all. "You're Reef the new Addiction Counselor, right? How are you liking the job so far?" Isla asked with a smile as she tried to be normal. The poor guy was new, he probably didn't have many friends in the asylum yet. Although she'd seen him hanging out with Nolan a few times. Maybe they were friends.

"If you ever need anything, you can always ask me. I'm always happy to help a new worker." She took another drink of her coffee and waited for him to answer. Her eyes remained fixated on his face as he spoke, eventually looking down to see his necklace. "Cool necklace. I've got one like it too!" She held it up some for him to see, a grin spreading across her face. She may or may not have worn the necklace since she knew Reef liked sharks. Of course – that was her own little secret.

Beep. Beep. Beep. The male groaned. Beep. Beep. Beep. Another groan. Beep. Beep. Beep. Angrily the male's eyes shot open, his hand scooping his phone up, and turning the alarm off before letting it fall on the table. His rough hands rubbed against his face to wipe the sleep away. "I would kill to get some real sleep sometime." Richard muttered, a flicker of a smile spreading across his face at the thought of actually killing someone. The blood.....all of the blood. Just seeing it shine made the males stomach knot in a good way. However he pushed that from his head as he sat up in his chair. Oh yes. He'd nearly forgotten falling asleep in his office early this morning. There had been a lot of work that he needed to get done, real work, for his real job. Not the work for his little 'hobby' that gave him the self title of 'murderous night owl'. Richard pushed away from his desk and rolled over to the other side of the room. "Now you better be done" he spoke softly towards the machine on the table, opening it up and pulling the vial out. Good. It was separated. Richard rolled off to the side, and opened the small glass door on the evidence freezer, placing the vial on one of the racks before closing the door.

Richard returned to his main desk and finished fill out some information, printing it, and locking his computer when he was done. The male stood up from his desk and grabbed the paper from the printer nearby, checking it over. "Good. Everything is done and in order." With that, Richard exited his office and started off towards the main desk, papers in hand. He approached the desk and waited for the worker to look up "Morning. Here are the recent blood sample papers. Give them to Sooh at the earliest convenience." Richard handed the woman the papers and started off towards the elevator to head up to his room. He'd half expected to see his roommate Jessie behind the front desk seeing at that was her job. However, she was mostly likely gawking over her crush.....boyfriend.....whatever he was. Richard honestly didn't care about the two of them. His smile was only a mask he wore for the world. The ginger haired male pushed that from his head as he got inside the elevator and headed up to his room on the 6th floor. Quietly he made his way into his room and shut the door.

Looking around the room he saw that Jessie was gone. Almost instantly his fake smile melted away and out came the unpleasant look. "It's honestly not that bad being here. Half the people are corrupt, and the other half are too naive to consider the blood guy a bad guy. It's just the over happy attitudes most of them have. All the damn smiles and laughter." Richard grumbled as he began to strip down only to jump into the shower. He stood there with the warm water hitting his body, his eyes fixated on his hands. "If only this was blood..." The male let out a sigh and finished his shower quickly. He didn't have to clean blood or sweat off him so he was really just rinsing off. Drying off, Richard changed into some simple clothes. Tan slacks,a navy button up and navy Sperry's. Most days he wore clothing like this – Nice but casual. On the rare occasion Richard would find himself in a suit, but that was only for holidays and events that required him to dress up. Otherwise it was slacks and a nice shirt. Richard grabbed one of his bags and began to stuff a few files and books into it. The last thing he did was put a watch on. Once he made sure it was on the correct time, the male left his room and started down the stairs.

Richard began down the hallway towards the elevator, which happened to close when he was a few steps away. "Damn it." A quick glance at his watch. He really needed to make a presence downstairs. The quicker he showed his face and mingled, the quicker he could get back to his office to continue his work alone. A downside to his job was the fact that he actually had to occasional patient. Most of them were either dead or needed their blood sampled but still. He had to interact with someone. With a huff the male entered the stairway and headed down the six flights to get to floor one. It was certainly a good thing that Richard was decently fit or else that would have been a real workout. The ginger male rounded the corner with a smile on his face and was almost instantly greeted with hellos. "Mornin'!" He grinned and continued on his way. Kill me. Richard said in his head but maintained the smile on his face. He had to keep the positivity up or else people would question him.

Richard entered the kitchen where most of the staff was, just like every other morning. As usual, they were all grouped together in their little cliches, just like highschool. He mentally rolled his eyes as he moved over to the coffee machine and poured a cup. "Hey Ndale. Think I could maybe get whatever you have extra of?" Richard wasn't picky with what he got as long as he got something. Soon enough a plate was handed to him and he started off to find a seat. "Isla. Reef." He acknowledged their presence, a bit of a grim tone to his voice when he said Reef's name. Richard couldn't help but mess with the kid a bit. He was just so nervous all the time. However, the male left it at that as he moved over to an empty table and sat. Richard pulled out a few of the files from his bag and began reading them as he ate his food in silence.

"Stupid b***h. " Puck muttered in a sleepy tone after hearing the bathroom door shut in the shared room. He was woken up from Poppy's body falling to the ground due to gravity and her lack of elegance. Normally people would have offered a helping hand if someone fell off a ladder, or even laugh while asking if they were alright. However it was too early to offer any help as the sun wasn't even fully up yet. There was barley a shine of light in the room and he was sure that if he rolled over that he would see that it was only near five am. Least to say his roommate was on her own and would have to suffer her hurt knees from falling. ' Wonder if Lir will think Poppy has bruised knees because of a little too much time kneeling in front of a certain Doctor.' He thought as he allowed a light laugh to escape him. ' Probably should offer her some powder,...No. It will be more fun to watch Lir.' Little did he know his amusement would be gone for Poppy did not fall on her knee's but on her lower bottom. Still the thought was enough to caused him to fall back to sleep, entering back in to the dream world. Even the sound of Poppy leaving the room did not stir him.

                                                    BEEP!

"Five more minuets,.." Puck muttered as he felt his shoulder being lightly shook. It had been a long night for the teen, as he tended to stay up late, sometimes until the same peeked up. It was a habit he still had from the old days, sleeping in the day time as no one wanted anything when the sun came out. Dirty secrets were often kept in the dark, hidden until show time as he called it. Even after he left that life style behind, he still lived on the streets and he knew to stay up at night. It wasn't safe at all with no one but kids around and besides it was easier to steal the things they needed from late night stores and gas stations. Of course along with breaking in to some select few buildings for more fun items. Yep that life was insane, and surly his sleeping pattern was a bit better but it was still hard for him to rest his eyes before four am in the morning. "Beauty sleep..." He muttered while turning over to get away from her touch. "Things that Lost Boys...Do..."He kept muttering in his tired voice, trying his best to ignore the clock.

There seemed to be some knocking sound from the outside of the room, probably the nurses wanting to get everyone up. The youth's eyes seemed to slowly open, peering out to show that lovely dark blue color eyes of his. "Need to get a lock for the room,..." He muttered while slowly starting to sit up from the bed and simply started to stretch out his body. Currently his hair was pulled back in to a simple pony tail, wearing nothing but a pair of blue boxers and a simple wife beater that clinged tightly to his chest. He was never one to wear anything that didn't cling to his body, never enjoying unfitted clothing. There was only one exception to these rule though, anything with the color orange was fine with him. Never sure why but he truly enjoyed the color to no end. After a few seconds of stretching alone in the room, the youth finally stood up from the bed , only to walk over in to the bathroom. The youth let his hair be free from the hair tie, before running his finger's threw the soft hair. After a few times he simply started to get out some bobby pins to pin some of the hairs behind his ears. After that he simply started to place in his piercings, having to take them off last night as they were starting to gain the fun odor of piercing smell. The first one he placed in was his septum, then the ones in his ears. Both sides contained about four piercings, all simple ones that he had bought or done himself with safety pins.

Today he was wearing clothing that he had made himself on the street, or stole from idiot teens or vendors who did not watch their items. If they didn't watch them then they didn't really need them. When he was finally done dressing he simply put on his fox beanie, wanting to keep warm for the weather, and lastly his shoes that he nicked from a boy two years ago. Some kid at a goth club had taken off his boots to rest his feet from dancing. Really the ninny should not have taken off his shoes at a club because his feet were hurting, nor any reason. Even if they had vodka spilled on them or someone puking on them from bad sushi. Honestly some people just held no class or common sense. ' Probably had to walk home barefooted. Serves them right for not being a good Lost Boy.' He thought while leaning forward to place on a hint of make up. He loved wearing some color on his eyes, orange and black of course. Once he was done getting ready for the day, the youth ended up putting Poppy's make up away ( Should have hidden it better Poppy) before walking out of the bathroom and finally out of the room. He had a mission today, finding his fellow Lost Boys and or one of his 'friends' to harass for a moment.

It took him ten minuets to get from his own floor to the first floor, using the stairs one step at a time. He did not wish to run in to anyone who was annoying nor the guards. They tended to harass the patients a lot as generally the patients were not morning people. They wouldn't be either if people forced them to takes pills and be beckoned like a hooker all the time. Not even paid for it. Tsk. Speaking of which one of those said guards seemed to be doing such an act, and not even with two steps out from the stairwell on the first floor. Normally he would have walked on by however the patient who the guard was harassing happened to be Jasmin, a female who tended to destroy everyone and he loved it. Normally he had a disdain for most females but it was because they were weak. They disliked being dirty, playing games, having food fights, and generally held no sense of self that he found it pathetic. Heck, Puck himself even appeared to be more feminine in appearance then most of the girls he had met in the past so truly he had no care nor need for them. Jasmin however, and a few other patients, held a stronger sense to them as they knew who they were and held their heads high while throwing a punch. He respected it.

"How does it feel to be America's first choice for prison sex?" Puck asked as he walked up over towards the guard, only to wrap his arm around Jasmin and escorted her passed the idiot. Poor guard looked confused and embarrassed. "Text you on Grindr for fisting tonight!" Right as he yelled that a couple of other guards, including Blair, has walked in to the hallway. Much to Pucks amusement he had heard the female guard to to scream at the other, asking him questions and probably going to suspend him of his duties today. Serves him right for harassing a patient so early in the morning. He hated most of the staff, even the ones he has never met. They were all cruel beings who forced them in his prison as far as he was concerned. Sure there was a handful who he enjoyed to talk too however not a lot. A part of him wondered if the patients would riot soon, taking down the entire building. Maybe Azriel would burn the place to the ground with Leon laughing in the background like the bat s**t insane man he was. Or the trio would as Lock loved fire. So many amazing people who held a fun free mind who would have loved Neverland.

The walk to the kitchen was quiet as he knew that Jasmin needed her silence in the morning. She tended to hate everyone around her, so in favor of their friendship he had escorted her to seat before leaving her at one of the tables. The youth then got in line to get a tray full of food and coffee, before returning and placed it in front of her. "It's too early to see a lot of these busted faced girls so you need to wake up and amuse me." He explained while picking up his glass of coffee before taking a sip from it. "Anything fun happening or are we going to be in the offices talking about our feelings all day?"
