Usually it was work that kept her up most of the night, the problems going on with Citricos or the patients causing issues that she had to deal with. Everything that came in and out of the asylum she dealt with and she signed off on. She knew everything, that even meant the orders other doctors made for themselves if it came here she dealt with it all. Even being on call at the drop of a pin no matter what time of the day or night it was. A lot of this was too much stress for one woman alone, but she worked well under pressure and craved the hectic lifestyle such as this. Sleep didn't some easy that night, and it wasn't because of stress of being worried that she'd forgotten something. It was excitement that flowed through he body that kept her wide awake and able to keep doing things. She felt energized and happy even with the little sleep she'd gotten. Having to gone to bed much earlier then she usually managed too, around ten. She'd gotten a few light hours off sleep, waking up to turn over, or just stare into the darkness of the wall. At one point she'd gotten up and opened her curtains to the small balcony.attacked to her room. Sitting outside with a cup of tea and going over more paper work in her robe. That has been around two in the morning when she'd given up sleep. The woman was much to excited, today her husband would finally be joining her here to work. Just thinking about the thought put a smile to her lips taking another sip of tea.
She' been married for a few good years now, but nobody here had ever seen her husband, only heard about him from her lips or the many rumors people started about this "ghost" husband of hers. The few that did know were quiet curious, since he never stepped foot in the asylum. She'd go back home to visit him some weekends and a few holidays for a couple hours. With her job her place was here to take care of everything so it was always hard to spent time with each other. That was what held her happiness for him to finally be coming here. On top of that he'd be dealing with all the finances of the place, so one less thing she needed to worry about. Flipping through that paper work currently as it rested in her lap. Someone had been going over their limit of funds without talking to her first getting it signed off. Everything pointed in the direction of the medical wing. She's have to scope that out and get it figured out and dealt with. Over the years sh'ed had to fire many employees over countless reason. Sooh was numb to the while idea, and didn't even bat an eye to firing. With this place everyone as replaceable for her staff, not that she thought about it that way but the truth was sometimes hard to take. It was no surprise people actually wanted Citricos on their resumes. The pay was good, whole range of freedom and the only downside if you could call it one was you had to live there and be on call twenty four seven. Sometimes the people were hard to deal with but you didn't go into this job without already knowing that bit of information.
Putting that work down she let a sigh slip from her lips, letting her eyes closes. Her mid automatically found its way to thinking about work, work and more work. Going over the people who were in confinement right now, she'd have to get the list of who would be getting released soon. Off the top of her head she knew Micha was down there for another outburst, and then Calcifer was once again there. He would be out soon, and heavens knew those other two he hung out with, Olive and Darren would be starting to throw fits soon. They would be getting bored without him around, and Sooh didn't know what was worse-them bored or all together. At times it was hard to decipher which was which." What else do I have to check into. . ." trailing off as she stood up grabbing her tea cup and papers, bringing everything inside. There was a list laying on her table of everything she needed-a checklist. Picking that up and setting the financial papers down. Her eyes skimmed everything going over the unchecked items." Ah yes, the staff room keys." frowning and once again setting her list down. Some of the staff keys were glitching out, with an electronic key system, it often happened, usually only the staff could use their own keys, with the touch sensitive lock, but a few have been letting others use them and most people didn't report that. Sooh didn't find that a problem, since it was only going on between the staff, so getting that fixed was the lowest on her list. If the patients tried, their own bracelets would counter the staff key and it wouldn't work for the, so she wasn't too worried."It's three am now, so I have time to get ready, I will grab a small breakfast from the kitchen and then back to work, but before that I have to do a building check, make sure the staff is up and at their places in their designated time, talk to Tai, and there was something else. Oh yes see if any new patients will be checking in and going over the list of patients being let out today. If they are all signed off." Tapping her fingers together as she went through her list.
All the time walking to the bathroom to get ready. She didn't take that long to get dressed since she had taken a bath earlier in attempts to sleep better. That was she didn't take long after she'd finally picked out what to wear. Feeling like a girl in high school, going through all her clothes and not liking a single thing she was trying on. She wanted to look nice, and well of course she was always well put together. It wasn't a rare sight to see her not dressed up, but people always took it that way. She had her days where she would dress down and if they caught her early or late enough in the day she'd of course would not be all dolled up. Adding the last of her lipstick, she was done and hand gathered up all the files and papers and everything else into her hands and left her room, shutting the light out with her shoulder before slipping out the door. Once again Sooh had started going over her mental notes of things to do, dropping some files off here, going across the asylum over there and back over here. Checking up to make staff was were they needed to be. Most would be in the kitchen getting meals before more of the patients woke up but a few would already be eating at their positions and ready to go. She didn't have time to stop and talk to everyone or anyone for that matter. Running around the place like it was on fire, making sure things were in line. Mostly because she couldn't stand still long, being giddy like a school girl. On her way back up from dropping a few files off down to the staff in the confinement center, as they were switching shifts and the night guards were heading to bed. She'd realized her walkie talkie was missing from her hip.
Having had to run all the way back up to the second floor so she could fetch it from her room. Turning out that had been a good things as she was going back tot he elevator Tai and Poppy were getting on also." Morning Ms. Quinn." giving a quick greeting to the female as the elevator doors closed them all in and she turned her attention to her son." Your uncle is arriving today, he called last night to give the news. Also I need you to start working on the plans for the fourth of July as soon as you are done eating." giving him a soft smile. " You took your medication right?" giving him some quick motherly love before leaving the elevator before the two forms did and walked on ahead. Needing to stop by the front desk before she made he way to the cafeteria. Her work didn't take too long, just making sure the front doors were unlocked and the day was ready to starts, hanging up the sheet of new arrivals for the staff to check people in, a couple people would be getting new roommates today. Wit that job done, Sooh was finally able to head to the kitchen and see who was all there, knowing many of her staff members were not morning people, it was always a rough start for them, and the coffee pot was the first place many of them went to. Walking in she made sure to stop at Lir and Keira's table quickly. Remembering another bit of information." I can see that fatherly worry on you face, your daughter is on her way." smiling at the male before addressing both of them." Have either of you taken care of those wasp nest above the front entrance? I would hate to have anyone stung because they needed to get through those doors."
