✔ Take a cellular phone with you if possible.






The rules of trick or treating throughout the years have changed hoping to make it safer. Yet, each year, many children go missing on the night that we celebrate the dead. This year, in the small town of Crescent, the townsfolk are taking extra precautions. The children are to be monitored at all times and no one was allowed to go out into the woods. The cops even volunteered to monitor the area in order to ensure that the teenagers wouldn't go out of spite. Everything seemed to be going according to plan, and the officers who were tired of sitting around in their cruisers, when there were more important things to be doing. Halfway through the night, the stake out cars had moved along, heading back into town hoping that the teens weren't instead, destroying any property.

A group of friends, who had decided to go out for their final night of trick or treating before they separated the next year, and took off for college. With bags full of candy and starting for the house, they were all staying for the night, one of the guys pointed out that he could see a light from the woods. Of course, he wanted to go in, and the others tried to talk him out of it, reminding him that they weren't suppose to be out in the woods tonight. He wouldn't listen though, instead the male had told them to stop being such wimps, then headed into the trees. Either determined to prove that they were not wimps or to bring their friend back the group of friends headed into the woods as well. The house in which they were heading for was said to be abandoned, but the closer they got to it, they could see the bright porch light on and movement inside.
