She wasn’t there, as if she had bolted the doors to all feeling and was pushing the door closed with her back. She was being Matthew and he had to admit, she as doing a pretty good job. She was running away from her feelings instead of feeling them, at least she wasn’t physically running. That was something right? He heard her scoff, seen her shrug. Saw the blankness in those eyes, eyes that were normally full of life. Full of feeling, full of things Matthew could only dream to understand. Matthew had use to call Cindre Baby when they were getting on, which got less and less within their short relationship. At first the male had said nothing but, James even joked he did it because he couldn’t remember her name. But this was untrue, he knew her name alright. He looked at it this way, she had been his baby, his person. Everyone needed one right? Since he used the name for her, he had yet to use it again. Like the phrase ‘baby girl’ never again would he utter it from his lips to anyone but her. See, there was more to Matt than met the eyes, would you be able to stick around to see it? Who knew, things happened and people changed. Would Matt? Only time would tell.

He saw the evil grin and forced himself to stay near her…she wanted to rip someone’s balls off. He was sure of it…he was only hoping they weren’t his. He rather liked where they were now, where they were suppose to be. He rolled his tongue over his lower lip as she answered him, her voice was the same as her eyes. Emotionless. It pained him to see, pained him to see him in her AND not in the way he would of liked…in the future. He looked at her as she spoke again and he frowned. “Don’t talk like that Cindre…I don’t want to break you. I don’t want to hurt you…” He said, the softness in his voice was becoming permanent. Argh! The male was understanding, where was the real Matt? See, he was good when they weren’t talking about him and HIS feelings. He was fine, he wasn’t all that awkward. Of course tears caused him discomfort but how would he be when he wasn’t the reason why she was crying? This wasn’t him, this had nothing to do with him. At least not yet, maybe he’d be fine with the leaking eyes?

The laugh that came to her lips sounded just as hollow as her voice had sounded. He had no idea what to do with this, no idea to make her feel better. Was he simply making it worse? As she expressed her hate for him, it took him a moment to realise it wasn’t him. Glad of such, he was still pissed off to the fact the other had effected her so. He could of saved her! He had no idea how…but surely… ‘Stop! This isn’t your fault and it isn’t hers.’ As she expressed cutting her hair off, his hands went up to touch it but he stopped himself. Looking at her he frowned, having no idea what to say. Would his words make any difference? Would he put his large foot up his own arse if he spoke? “Hatred is something you need to feel. But as it hurting yourself, why? This isn’t your fault Cindre. I don’t want to see you hurt, don’t want to see you hurting yourself.” He said and rubbed the back of his neck, hoping he was helping somewhat and he wasn’t ruining all of this by simply saying the wrong thing.

He looked up as she laughed and the frown that came to his face seemed permanent. Was she laughing at him? Here he was being nice and she threw it back in his face? Was that it? He was about to let go, when she spoke. He didn’t, he didn’t move. He simply stayed close, erasing the frown and listening. Being her ears and listening, she needed someone. Was he now that someone? “You’ll be alright, I’ll make sure of it.” He said and nodded firmly. He wasn’t sure how yet…but he was willing to give it a try. Even if it meant she wasn’t with him…would he be willing to put his confused feelings aside for her and let her live her life? Of course and he knew this wasn’t because he wanted too. Did he? ‘Hell, don’t confuse yourself. Back to her!’ He nodded to his thoughts and looked at her. He smiled softly, a reassuring smile, a kind smile…a smile that seemed somewhat alien on Matt’s lips. It suited him none the less. Then she spoke about forgetting him…so this was his fault? Guilt racked his stomach and he felt sick. “I’m sorry…sorry I made you need to forget.” He said in a low whisper, looking awfully shitty right now. She didn’t know what to do with herself, Matt looked up as he heard her say Matty. It was something she was allowed to do, it was a name that sounded too cute for anyone else’s lips. Wednesday had called him Mattie-boy it was different. Close to Em’s nickname for Cam though. He looked back to her, her tears were falling, still falling and Matt hadn’t reacted badly. He simply continued to attempt to comfort her.

As she pulled back slightly in his arms to stroke his cheek and then his chest, he shuddered slightly. Her touch sparking something in him that made him pay attention. The girl had his full attention, who knew a touch could do so. He looked at her and nodded slightly as she stopped. He had been listening well before, imagine where she had him now? Through out the whole conversation she had been leaning into him and hugging him, but the last one felt different. He felt her thinking something over, even saw it in her eyes. As she kissed his cheek he smiled slightly and looked at her. How her hair fell from the bun was like something out of a movie…it annoyed him. How come his hair didn’t always look that good? ’What are you a women? Shut up man.’ God, he was on top form today, wasn’t he? Her soft fingers on his cheek once more, from the corner of his eyes he could see her cuts. All the while he looked into her eyes, his eyes never moving off hers, unless she broke the contact between them.

Her finger softly trailed over his lips and he felt the after effect, felt them tingle, felt his mind expect more. He pushed it down and looked at her, confusion apparent in his eyes. He hoped this wasn’t going to go where he felt like it was going to go. She was always confused enough, she was already hating herself. How would she deal with him pushing her away? Stopping her make right what Alex wronged? She leaned upwards, there came a time he could no longer hold the contact as she kissed the corner of his lips, Matt leaned down slightly. Leaning into the kiss that was place onto his lips. His hands in her hair as he kissed her back, for a moment he didn’t expect anything more. This surely wasn’t making her feel any better? But the man inside him was egging to get out, as her hands stroked his chest and made their way downwards. He felt the heat between them raise and he pressed himself back down, they she placed with the fabric on his jeans, slowly her hands slipped inside and Matt’s lips left hers. He stood a small step back, his own breath had already quickened. His heart beat was banging against his chest, to have to stop himself three times in one day was enough for any man. “I can’t Cindre…I can’t.” He said and looked down. She turned away from him and muttered that she was disgusting. “No, you are not.” He said and gently he took hold of her wrist and eased her back to him. He looked at her and spoke, his voice firm but soft. “You are not disgusting, this between us is nothing you need to feel guilty about. We both know these types of urges have been with us since the beginning. You are not doing this because you are disgusting. This is natural, what he did was disgusting. He forced himself upon you Cindre, this is nothing you should blame yourself for or feel ashamed off. Shout it to the world if you must. HE was in the wrong not you, this is not and should never be a dirty little secret. Tell as many people as you can, why should you have to work through this alone? In fact, you’re not alone. Never will be, as long I have breath in my lungs Cindre. I’m here for you. It may not always be the way you want it, lord knows I have some s**t of my own to deal through. But I’m here.” He said, compassion in his voice.

He wasn’t ready to lock the doors the single life, who knew when he would be. But when she needed him…he would be there. Whether he needed to come to her or not…wait was Matt willing to chase after someone? No, this wasn’t chasing. This was caring, remember that. We may need it in the further. He looked into her eyes and kissed his lips softly. “Nothing about you will ever be disgusting. Nothing.” He said and kissed her forehead. “What he did to you was wrong, there is no excuse for him raping you. Nothing you did made him do it, he decided not to listen. It was his choice, his mistaken and we both know he’s going to pay for it.” He said, angry building up the more he spoke about him. He frowned and swallowed the lump rising in his mouth. No one was hurting her again…not in that way. He wanted to say he wouldn’t either, truly wanted to believe he wouldn’t. But even when he sorted through his head, it was impossible not to hurt the ones you cared for. He looked at the female in front of him, running his hand softly through her hair. He allowed his arms to go back to his side, in case she wanted to leave his side.

For the first time in Cindre's life she was actually alright with Matthew saying that he couldn't, what he was implying she did not know. Was he turning away sex, was he turning away her touch? Or was he merely turning her away all together, either way she was grateful and not because she didn't want Matt, but because for some reason she got the feeling he was saying no for all the right reasons, she was a wreck for Christs Sake! She had demolished her bedroom like what five minutes ago? She was almost certain that her mother was still sitting in the same spot where she had left her. She closed her eyes as she felt herself being pulled back into Matty's arms. Oh was she not disgusting? He was making it pretty obvious by telling her he couldn't! "Shut it Cindre and focus! He means well this time!" she thought bitterly as she moved those dark brown eyes up to his blue. She looked about as hallow as she felt, her lips parted as she listened to him with silence, she was starting to wonder what sort of effect she had on him at that very moment. He seemed like the old Matty, the one that used to call her 'baby' she closed her dark brown eyes and then looked down as she listened. Her hair slid down in front of her face, she was crying again, damn get your emotions in check Cindre! She shook her head and then slowly looked up her hair slid across her cheeks and she sighed, tears were evident in her eyes.

"Pfft Alex....I don't care about him anymore Matty, he got what he wanted out of me and now he is facing a set of bars. Who knows how long he will be there all I know is it is long enough for me to run away from the idea of wanting anyone....don't you see what happen when I want someone, I end up hurting myself and potentially others around me, I hurt you every-time we fight, every-time I try to take hold of your hand....know what I mean?....." she sighed and then pressed her hands to her face for a moment. After a few quiet moments she finally moved away her hands and then looked up at Matty her lips trembled a little but she took a deep breath and then tried to smile a little bit as she reached up and touched his cheek softly. "Matty you don't have to keep reminding me how much you'll be there for me, I have to remind myself that I cannot force myself on you....but I can't help myself....you asked me earlier why I trust you....it's because even though you seem like a jerk in public these are the moments where I know that's all a face.....we can't all be perfect....look at me I broke down because I am sick of being that 'perfect' girl for mommy....I am not a trophy.....Matty I just...." she shook her head and then shrugged.

She closed her eyes as she felt his lips against hers, it was all she could do to stop him from pulling away but she let him, she felt those lips that had been still for quite some time form one of her smiles, the same one she had given Connor. But that smile belonged to Matty, it was that smile that she gave him before their first official kiss. Matty of course found it sorta cheesy, but then and there she felt as if she were walking on the clouds far far away from high school land. She, the tennis cutie had made it happen with the Handsome heartthrob, above all the girls he chose her, then she wasn't aware that his intentions were like the rest. Somehow though she was the lucky one, she got to see the softer side of Matty. This very side was something she waited for, she closed her eyes when she felt his lips on her forehead. Matty was being sentimental there was no sexual intentions implied, well this was perfect. Cindre continued to run her hand over his cheek as he spoke, she could hear the anger in his voice as he talked about Alex. Pfft, Alex got what was coming to him, Gavyn gave him a beating and Matty kicked the sh-t out of him. His pride was bruised and he was sitting in the slammer what else could Matty possibly want done to the a-sshat. Cindre shook her head as she moved her hands over his lips shushing him softly, she wasn't trying to treat him like a child, that was not her intention. She let her finger linger on his lips for a moment before she leaned in and kissed him softly.

She let her hands drop to her sides when he ran his fingers though her hair she loved it the most when he played with her hair, when his hands dropped to his sides she grabbed then and then intertwined them together and slowly guided him to his bed. When they reached the end of his bed she knew what he was thinking 'she couldn't possibly insane enough to give in?' no actually that's not what she was doing. She let go of his hands and then raised then to his cheek as she deepened the kiss. Her fingers slowly moved down his chest to the tops of his pants, rather than pull at the fabric like last time she gently pushed him on his bed. She gave him a one of her small chuckles and then she crawled up behind him and sat Indian style in the middle of his bed, she rested a pillow in her lap and then pulled him back to her, letting his head rest on the pillow in her lap. When Matty realized she wasn't making sexual implications he relaxed a little. She closed her eyes and then slowly moved her fingers over his forehead, she was running her fingers through his hair absentmindedly.

She was thinking about the times he called her 'baby', God James was such a tease then, maybe those along with the other jokes about the Heartthrob actually having a heart caused him to be distant. She paused for a moment and then pulled off her slippers and tossed them on the floor to the side, she went back to running her fingers through his hair as she leaned down and kissed his forehead, her hair fell forward like a curtain around Matty's face, Cindre laughed softly and then took her hair in one big clump and twisted it and rested it on one side of her arm, her long slender fingers continued to move through his slightly damp hair "Matty.....do you mind....I mean if we just sit here like this I don't think I have the strength to go home right now.....nothing about you is mean Matty......none one thing....you just hide your feelings pretty good is all, and that's alright there;s nothing wrong with that.....nothing at all" she said softly. There was a new tone in her voice, it was sincerity. She smiled softly to herself as she continued to run her fingers through his hair quietly. This was something she did often when Matty was angry, not at her but at something else, or someone else.

She paused for another second and then she pulled out her cellphone and turned it off she rested it on Matty's dresser and then looked around, she bit her lower lip and then slid herself carefully out from the pillow and moved into the bathroom, she dug through the pocket in his jeans and plucked his cellphone out and then shut it off. She rested it on the bathroom counter and then went back to Matty's bed and slid herself in the same position she started with. "You need a break Matty......" she said softly and then she wove her fingers through his dark hair, this was actually calming her down. How was Matty feeling about what she was doing, she supposed it wasn't bad if he wasn't fidgeting yet, she kissed the top of his head in a comforting way and then chewed on her lower lip as she watched the steady movements of her fingers moving through his hair.

Talking, Meeli was always talking, it seemed like she was talking a mile a minute, but Gavyn sat back with that smile on his face as he watched her lips move. She was speaking an unknown language to him when she talked about ballet but soon that would be overcome, he would dive himself in a book that taught him all about ballet. The time in they spent in the theater watching the men and women in tights was a boring one indeed, mostly because he wasn't interested in this sort of thing, now if Meeli were dancing then it would be different, he would have something to pay attention too. The play itself was a play he adored in secret, yes Romeo and Juliet was a play that Gavyn Marshall adored. He had to admit the music in the background was pretty amazing, he wasn't too focused on the play though he was more focused on watching Meeli's expressions. Just as he had suspected she was clapping and her facial expression was scrunching in cute little formations. All in all the look on her face was well worth the torture he was enduring.

When it was all over and done with Meeli was praising the plays brilliance, Gavyn could not help but smile listening to every word she was saying. Gavyn frowned a little when she offered him her heels exclaiming something about sneaking back, how clever of her to do such a thing, it sounded like something Meeli would do. Gavyn waited patiently with his girlfriends heels in his hands, did he look awkward? Nope he stood there playing with his promise ring as he waited for Meeli to come around back to him. he leaned against one of the walls and then gave a contented sigh. Geez what the hell was taking her so long, it wasn't like he was impatient or that he didn't trust her he just didn't like the idea of another guy putting the moves on his girl. "Come here often handsome?" the voice was definitely soft, which only meant it was feminine, Gavyn looked up. In front of him was a pretty girl, well hardly a girl per-say, she was most definitely a women. Gavyn felt himself in an awkward position and not because Meeli didn't trust him, not because it was wrong. Well really what was wrong with a little conversation, after all he was waiting for Meeli to hurry her cute little butt up.

                                  User Image
The women was persistent on getting his attention though, she pushed back that soft curled hair of hers off of her bare shoulders. Damn him and his 'manly' instincts, he looked away from her as he crossed his arms, Meeli's heels becoming more prominent. "No this was a special treat for my girlfriend...." he said and then turned towards her, he stressed the 'girlfriend' part. The women whomever she was laughed softly and then pressed her lips down "Ahh well where is this girlfriend of yours?" she asked. Gavyn had half a mind to toss Meeli's heels in the girls direction, I mean wasn't it enough that he was holding on to a set of heels. Plus he had plainly stated he was with someone in his previous comment. The women must have not gotten the hint because she took a step closer obviously flirting. Gavyn sighed and politely pushed himself off the wall and then removed himself from the situation. He had moved himself enough out of harms way to appear innocent , at the same time he caught glimpse of Meeli jumping from the stage, she looke excited.

Gavyn shook his head laughing at her exuberance he handed her the set of heels and then looked over the small book full of signatures, now he didn't like how numbers were inside but he said nothing, it was probably for further use towards her dancing career. That caused him to start thinking about what Calista had said at the hospital. Would Meeli leave Gavyn once she had gotten what she wanted? He swallowed the lump in his throat and then went along with her inside the limo, he didn't want to think about those things right now, his main concern was Meeli and her happiness. They got inside the limo and dammit there she went again yammering about the play, he kept that wide smile on his lips as he sat in the back spreading his arm on the top of the back seat so she could sit closer. Now don't get him wrong he liked Meeli, not that was an understatement, he loved Meeli in every way a guy could without falling to pieces with passion for her. You know this was exponentially harder for him since Meeli didn't put out.

Not that he wanted her to yet he wanted that moment to be special, that and forgive the guy for having a weakness her brothers were pretty ferocious when they had to be. So he sat and listened like a good boyfriend, then she brought up the 'I love you' phrase and immediately she started to get touchy thinking he didn't like to hear it. Oh no no Meeli it wasn't like that at all! He liked it when she said those types of things to him, well this serves him right for being such a silent boy during the ride to the Diner, it was where Meeli wanted to go. Really the way she was dressed she deserved better but Meeli wasn't the type of person to put on airs for anyone. She would have pigged out in or out of that dress and he knew it too. Gavyn shook his head when Meeli started to rattle off in embarrassment how she 'knew' he didn't like hearing the 'I love you' words. With a smirk he leaned forward and silenced her with his lips, she let of one of those cute soft mewls. God, did he love it when she did that, it made her seem all the more innocent.

Slowly Gavyn lifted his hand up to her cheek, cupping one side of her cheek tilting her a little as he deepened the kiss, he could almost feel the heat radiating off those plump cheeks of hers. Little by little Gavyn scooted closer, now he had Meeli against the corner of the Limo gently of course, he was hovering over her. Her breath was hitching with the closeness, this was a a new avenue they had yet to explore, well aside from her practically rubbing against him in his truck a while back. Gavyn made a soft little moan in her mouth when she wove her long fingers into his hair. Man was anyone else getting hot in here? or was it just him, last time they had gotten into this predicament they had to pull away because his hormones were taking over. Gavyn pressed on, his hand dropped from her cheek and slowly moved over the front of her dress, he felt Meeli's embarrassment when she gasped as he pulled back a little "Meeli it's alright you can tell me to stop anytime...." he whispered breathlessly. And he did stop to prove his point, he searched those eyes of hers he wasn't about to do anything that meant crossing the line. Just when he thought that she was going to tell him to stop she leaned forward and kissed him.

Gavyn returned the kiss his hands moved over the front of her dress again this time a soft mewl emmited from her mouth, the two were both turning three shades crimson as Gavyn pulled Meeli on his lap and moved from her lips to her neck, she was making noises he didn't think were possible to escape from those lips. Finally the Limo stopped and then a soft groan was emitted from within his throat and pulled away from the kiss, leaving her breathless. His 'frustration' was present and he was embarassed, he slowly moved Meeli onto the seat of the Limo and then bit his lip and looked away from Meeli, man did it suck being a guy, he was stuttering a string of apologies to Meeli, technically he had 'felt' her up twice! He was so into kissing her neck he missed what she was doing in return, whatever she did sure made an impact on the Quarterback, because he was breathless and turning bright red "We-were uhmn h-here Meeli...." he whispered.

If there was one good thing Matt was good at it wasn’t saying what he wanted to say, or saying something people couldn’t understand. He didn’t even understand himself at the end of the day too, he made himself confused and so, he usually said nothing. It was much easier for everyone that way, much easy to understand if he said nothing. As he watched Cindre for a moment he could almost feel everything running through her head. Matt had not turned away her touch, he had just turned her away because of where he was touching him. It wasn’t the right time, he was holding himself in check for her and only her. Would he of done the same if it was anyone else? He had turned her away for her own good and not his own. Man, Matt would have her at the top of a hat, his body lusted after her. He dreamt of finally succeeding into getting her in the sack, but this was all his subconscious mind. This wasn’t something that was his main goal in life, it was merely because most of the time after seeing her. She did something to spark those feelings in him, something she did to him that caused his body to crave her. Like trying to stop smoking, it was something Matt couldn’t do well. Matt smoked, he wasn’t a strong smoker, usually did it when bored of drunk. But he still wouldn’t stop, he was what you called a social smoker…or a drunk smoker.

She was as good for him as she was bad, she was a strong mixture of both and they butted heads often. More often than not, it was because they are such strong headed people that their reasons and opinions got mixed up together and caused conflict. It was how it was for most people and then their was Wednesday. A girl that sparked his interest in a different way. She gave him her body, because she simply wanted him for his body. There was nothing involved, no confusion, no trust issues. He trusted her enough to allow her near him, it was enough. But it was different with Cindre, much different. Wednesday wasn’t into him, simply his body. She didn’t love him or need him, she didn’t require anything from him…other than his man hood. The need wasn’t there which didn’t make him feel needed? You following?

She was calling him Matty again, it was rolling off her lips. He smiled as he felt something flutter within him, as he looked at her. He didn’t show anything, his facial expression was still concerned. He was still worried about her, why was she saying she didn’t care? She did, she had lashed out at something. Her hands told him so, had she had a breakdown? He looked at her and tilted his head slightly, wondering if she would be okay? She didn’t want anyone? Matt was suddenly confused? He was no longer wanted was this a good thing or a bad thing? He wondered what she meant by this and if it meant she had finally let him go? Matt was so confused, he hadn’t even spoke and he was confused. Damn her. “You don’t hurt me…I’m doing it to protect you.” He said and shrugged slightly. “I don’t want to give you false hope…I don’t want to lead you on…when I’m not ready. Not ready to be anything more than single.” He said and looked at her.

He looked at her as her hand gently stroked his cheek, her touched gave him small shivers. She wasn’t the only one, but that didn’t make it any less of a good thing. Matt was a male who liked to be…touched and not always in a sexual way. He was a touchy feely male, when the mood came to him…he liked to cuddle, but this rarely happened. He looked up at her, his blue eyes meeting her brown ones. The orbs that looked black in certain lights, eyes that could hold his attention. He was very much an eye-man…as well as everything else. She called him a jerk, called it a front. It wasn’t, it was apart of him. Who could be nice all the time? It was a apart him, the cold side of him. It was a side people needed to embrace to get the good side of him. He was full of flaws and lay them on the table most of the time. He didn’t care what people thought of him and this was both a good and a bad thing, wasn’t it? That wasn’t the only reason she broke down, Alex had things to do with it too. But he said nothing on it, because why would ne need to bring it up?

He saw his smile on her lips and he grinned slightly, kissing the corner of her mouth after he pulled away. He didn’t kiss her again, he had kissed her enough. She was surely getting sick of the feel of his lips on hers, wasn’t she? Man, Matt had no real clue. Her soft hand on his cheek was calming, smoothing even, it felt nice. He looked up into her eyes and looked at her. He had already kissed her forehead and looked at her, she seemed better now. Her finger tips brushed over his lips as to quiet him down, he pressed his lips together and smiled underneath her fingers. Her lips met his and he kissed her back softly, he was beginning to like kissing her all over her. She took his hands in hers and he didn’t pull away, merely because this wasn’t awkward. She had yet to discuss anything that would make him feel uncomfortable. His feelings had been left well alone and nothing about their actions could lead further. Neither wanted that to happen. Although Matt wasn’t really a hand holding guy, after a while his hand became to hot. But that had not happened yet.

As she took the lead and walked over to the bed, Matt froze. Stopping her from taking either of them any further. He looked at her, confusion in his eyes as he looked at her. The look in her eyes told him she wasn’t looking for sex, or for that type of comfort. This alone was enough for him to step forward, he felt himself being pushed towards the bed and he sat down, he felt her pull his shoulder slightly, so turning to face the wall he lay back as so the back of his head was on the pillow. He arched an eyebrow and then smiled slightly. He knew what she was doing, she did this when he needed…relaxing. He felt her fingers work his head and felt the effect it had on the whole of him. His body just completely relaxed, the movements on his head made him feel almost tired. So relaxing, he was relaxed enough to fall asleep. She was calming him down, the angry he felt because of Alex was slowly fading. He knew it would return if he continued to think of him, but it was hard to do when her fingers were working his head. Like Wednesday had been doing before, maybe it was his lucky day? He smiled closed his eyes slightly and breathed out softly. The sounds from his lips was soft and almost moaning like, there was nothing sexual about the moans. It was all soft and unimportant it meant nothing other than he was becoming rather relaxed.

As she stopped to take off her slippers he looked up at her and looked towards her ceiling. This wasn’t awkward, it was nice. They weren’t arguing, they were talking. It was nice, nothing more nothing less. As she spoke he listened, although his eyes were closed once more because her fingers had found their way back to his head. As she kissed his forehead, her hair tickled his face and he screwed up his nose. Opening his eyes as she was now in his full view, he smiled and looked at her by tilting his head back further. “I wouldn’t mind staying like this all night.” He joked. “But your hands would soon get tired, or you’ll send me to sleep.” He said and smiled slightly. “You can stay if you want, but will you do something for me? Will you ring your mum and tell her your fine, please?” He asked. He heard her phone being turned off and watched her upside down as she did the same to his phone. As she went underneath his head once more, he allowed her to massage his head a little more before he rolled over and looked at her. He was close to her now, he was sat up once more as he shifted his weight slightly. Moving towards her, he took hold of her phone and handed it to her. “Please ring her, for me?” He said and allowed his eyes to hold hers. He was about half an arms distance away from her, his spare hand stroked her face as he sat up properly.

He leaned forward and kissed her cheek softly, rolling off the bed he looked at her. “I’ll go and get us some drinks and food. Will you please ring her…at least let her know you are safe?” He cared about her and her mother needed to know she was safe. He smiled at her and walked to his door, she could create the moment again…or he would. The calming moment between them but she needed to speak to her mother, he didn’t want her mother to be sat there crying in the same spot that Cindre left her. He turned and looked at her. “You’re mother doesn’t want you to be a perfect child, you are her perfect child. No matter what you do, she loves you. Cares for you deeply Cindre. Don’t push her away.” He said and looked at her, giving her strong eye contact. He nodded slightly and left her to think about it.

He walked into the kitchen, surprised to see his mother there. His mother’s name was Angela and unlike most of Matt’s girlfriends, Angela actually liked Cindre. She smiled at her son and looked at him. “I’m glad she’s back.” It was beyond him how she knew but Matt smiled and nodded. He said nothing about it, he grabbed a bottle of coke and a bottle of water. He grabbed two glasses and a large bag of crisps and dip. He smirked slightly and chuckled a little. Looking up at his mother, he tilted his head at her. He looked a little bit like his mother, more so his father. But that didn’t matter, he looked up at his mother and smiled slightly. He walked slowly back upstairs and knocked on his bedroom door. He pushed it open and looked at her. “Have you rung her?” He asked and looked at her. He placed the two bottle on the table and then crisps and dip. “I know you tend to avoid junk food, but…you can be my junk food buddy for the night. I’ll drag you to the gym downstairs later.” He said and smirked.

CONNOR 」「 BARRETT

╚════════════════════════════╝

At some point during his little snooze on the couch, he rolled over towards the wrong direction and met the floor with a loud thump. His sleeping cat twitched at the nose but slowly relaxed back into it's sleep. Whereas Connor was fully awake now and groaning as a dull pain seared through his chest and stomach. Honestly, he didn't want to sleep on his couch tonight. He would rather prefer blankets and pillows piled onto the floor. That way he wouldn't be able to roll off and hurt himself further. Eyes meeting the wooden floor, he muttered incoherant words as when he finally decided to stand and groggily made his way into the kitchen. Then he bagn to wander for how long he had slept for. It seemed that Maddie wasn't around, so either she was busy showering or she bailed for a much nice abode. "She wouldn't do something like that..." He thought to himself as he entered the undisturbed kitchen. The hot chocolate was still a bit steamy, so he couldn't have slept for far too long. Ten minutes at the most. Taking one of the mugs for himself, he headed upstairs to change out of his work uniform and into something much more comfortable. Before entering his room, he knocked on the door to assure that Madeline was not in; it would have been awkward if he walked in on her while she was changing. With no answer, he entered and set the mug on his bedside table before moving to his closet. Throwing his clothes into the hamper, her pulled on a pair of sweats over his boxers and then a plain white t-shirt. Usually he would go shirtless but strangely, it was a bit chilly in his apartment tonight. Also, he didn't want to make Maddie feel uncomfortable around him because of something like that. Connor went out into the hall to check the thermostat and changed the settings to the heater. While in the hall, he could hear the shower head running still and he was tempted to check up on her. Nooo, not like that! Get your minds out of the gutter! He wanted to make sure that she had not passed out from shock or head trauma. She did hit her head, after all. Though in the end, he decided against it; Maddie was a strong girl. Anyhow, if the shower didn't end in several minutes, he was going to come knocking on the bathroom door.

Connor returned back down stairs to begin locking the windows as an extra precaution. Surely that would help the blond feel a tad bit safer or maybe he was being too caring? After locking the window in the living room, he sat back against the couch again and tilted his head back, a hand rubbing along his face. He looked forward and his eyes caught his cell phone on the coffee table, the screen lit up. "Mom. He clarified aloud as he read over who the missed call was from. Redialing her number, he listened as the other line rang and smiled lightly to hear his mother's cheery voice. "Hey mom, sorry that I couldn't come to dinner. I ate at work, though." A grin broke out onto his face as his mother began to scold him for eating too much fast food through out the week and how he needed more home-cooking in his system. "That probably explains why you got so sick." She finished her little rant, tsking on her line. "I'll come over tomorrow, definately. Um, could you do me a favor? Call Maddie's parents and let them know that she's with me...what? Har, har har, very funny." He mocked whenever his mother had began to tell him how condoms could make a big difference. As if he would every try anything. "But out all of seriousness, could you do that? Thanks. Well I should be hitting the hay, good night mom. Love you and tell Grammie that I love her, too." Awww! He was such a momma's boy! Ending the call, he lowered the hand that he held his phone in and then picked up the slip of paper Cindre had gave him; her cell phone number. "I should check up on her..to make sure she's okay." First he saved her mobile number into his phone before creating a new text message.

                                                      To: Water Victim
                                                      From: Mr. Clumsy (Connor)
Sorry if I'm disturbing you Cindre
Just wanted to make sure you were okay
:'D Text me back, if not I'll think something happened to you.
You don't want me worrying, do you?

The text message was sent and he set his phone aside, looking up and just in time to catch Maddie standing in the doorway of the living room. Butterflies began to flutter uncontrollably in his stomach at the mere sight of her. That Maddie was the one he had fallen head over heels for and the one he couldn't help but love everything about. He loved the way her hair spilled over her shoulders in waves; she reminded him of a sun-kissed mermaid. He loved the face clean of make-up. She was already naturally beautiful but still she used silly mascara, lip gloss, and etcetera in order to enhance her beauty. In a way, it was okay with him but he would like to see natural side of her a lot more often. And how could he not notice how adorable she looked in his large clothes? It was a lot different from the clothes she usually wore. Unlike her revealing tops, the t-shirt hid all of what cleavage she had and most of her curves but she looked as darling as ever. The outfit made her look smaller than what she really was but it was cute. He also liked the vibe the clothes gave off. Relaxed, laid-back, and charmingly lazy. The soft facial expression also helped complete the look. That look was the Madeline whom Connor inevitablly adored. He gave her a bright smile, his cheeks lighting up in a blush. "You want me to sleep with you? W-Well not that kind of sleep! The snoring, drooling type of sleep.." Then his mother's words about the condom returned into his mind. As she moved towards him, it suddenly became very difficult for him to keep his pulse at a steady pace. Scooting over a bit, he gave her enough room so that she couldn't sit on Sherbet who was sleeping on the other end. His eyes held her gaze for a moment and he nodded. "Of course I'll stay with you. I wouldn't want you to get nightmares." Standing, he held out a hand to her for her to take and with a light squeeze, he helped her onto her feet.

Once they were inside his room, he closed the door behind her and told her if she liked, she could lock the door. He didn't want to do it himself in fear that he would give her the wrong impression. All that he expected out of her was cuddling and for her to get her needed rest. Walking over to his bed, he drew back the blanket and began to fluff his pillows, fluffing two against the wall and dashboard and the other two on the bed. "If you'd like, there's some hot chocolate there for you. To help you sleep easier." Connor turned off the light switch, the only source of lightning now was the rising moon shining in through the window. Climbing onto his bed, he locked the window before laying back and claiming the side of the bed that was near the wall for himself. He always had to sleep on that side or else he would roll off like he did on the couch. The redhead leaned back against the pillows and with a smile, he pat the open space of the bed on his side. When she did climb in with him, he pulled he covers over their forms and waited for her to get comfortable before moving. He blushed as she curled up against him, her head nestled against his chest and her hands holding onto him, in fear of him leaving her to sleep alone. "Don't worry...I won't abandon you.' He whispered to her as her wrapped his arms around her, stroking her arm gently. "Never." His lips pressed against her forehead gently and he closed his eyes, enjoying the feel of her body in his arms. This was the cuddling, the love, and affection that he craved for.

ooc: Sorry it's taking me so long to post

Cindre smiled softly when Matty screwed his nose up all funny when her hair tickled him, she liked the way he smiled at her, it made her calm. Almost like she didn't need to start on ehr rampage, she swore that her room was a disaster still, if not then her mother probably got up and started to clean up her mess. Her mother was far too predictable that was for sure Well then who says we have to stop......" she said smiling down at him, her head was slightly tilted at an angle so that her hair dipped over her face, god sometimes her hair could be super annoying. Meh, but he wanted it down so why not "Matty you know I am used to it.....and really do I have to bother her, my mother is probably cleaning right about now, she knows I cam here I told her so before I left" she said with a cheesy smile.

                                  User Image

Oh come now Matty do you have to go all 'daddy' on the whole thing. Sometimes she hated when he was right like that, it pissed her off actually because really she should know better, sheesh Matty your supposed to be the bad one! Cindre watched him her full lips pouting, mostly because she was gonna do what he asked with no more complaint, when he rolled over she tilted her head her eyes following his movements. Once he sat up and shifted his weight he moved towards her, Cindre could not help but take in a small breath as the butterflies in her stomach woke, their paper thing wings flapping against her chest, damn him for even trying! Her eyes followed him until she noticed what he was after, her phone. He handed it to her and then asked her once more to call her mother, the pitiful look in her eyes followed by the nose scrunching indicated that Matty was the victor in this game.

Cindre looked down behind her eyelashes as Matty stroked her cheek, it caused her pulse to race, did he not know what he was doing to her, he was getting too much to bare. She nodded and then slowly looked up, by the time she had fully faced him again he had kissed her cheek, Cindre pressed her lips together and then turned catching his face in her hands for a moment "I promise" she whispered against his lips. promised what you ask? Well Matty had asked her to call her mother so she was promising that she would do so. When he slid off the bed she looked down at her cellphone and then chewed her lower lip. God, was Matty being somewhat of a nag? or was it just her? one moment they were consoling each other and then the next they were unsure of what to do with each-other and not he was nagging, oh damn you Matty and your psycho babble!

She nodded and then turned on her cellphone and then looked up at him, mostly so he got the point a crossed that she was listening, his eyes. Those deep penetrating blue eyes were on her, she felt her heart slowly flutter, but she knew why he was doing it. When he left the room she scrolled down the list of contacts in search of her mother's number. along the way her phone beeped a few times indicating she had a new text and three new voice-mails. With a light shrug she pressed the button to hear the first voice-mail. It was from her mother of course, frantic as ever wondering where she was. Well Matty that's one point for you and zilch for Cindre. Beeeeeeep Cindre listened to the second message which was also from her mother, it was kind of odd listening to nothing on the other end.

She screwed up her face and then frowned, she moved on to the next voice-mail the number was unknown and there was no real message. Cindre shrugged her slender shoulders and then started again with the dialing of her mothers number when her phone started to ring, she groaned and then slid it upward and then pressed it to her ear "Hel---" she gasped when a soft female automated voice clicked over "You have a collect call from Alexander Dawson, would you like to accept the charges? press one to accept and two to decline" Cindre's breath hitched as she fumbled with her phone, her finger slid over the number 'one' key by accident. Her phone started to dial and then ring Cindre!....Cindre answer me hey look I need to you------" Cindee snapped her phone shut. She was pressing her cellphone to her chest for a moment before she closed her eyes and then shook her head, no Alex was not going to effect her. Rather than dwell over the shocking call she opened up her text, she smiled a little to herself and then found herself replying.

                                  To: Mr Clumsy
                                  From: Water Victim

Oh goodness well then I better text you back shan't I?
Uhmn no your not disturbing me, something happened and I had to go to a friends and take refuge, I think this Alex incident is really getting to me anyways. Don't forget about me when that Ski trip comes up, just do me a favor huh tie up them laces I wouldn't want hot chocolate all over my jeans this time. Oh and maybe I will see you at school tomorrow, I hope I am not disturbing you either, which reminds me I know she probably doesn't like me but I wish Madeline well.

She hit the SEND button and then scrolled down her list of contacts for her mother, finally without interruption she pressed the CALL button and then waited patiently. Her mother picked up sounding groggy, after a few minutes of speaking calmly to her mother in Italian, everything was settled, well all except the extra five minutes it took Cindre to quiet down her sobbing mother. Once she was finished with the conversation she turned off her phone and then rested it on Matty's dresser. She looked up just in time to see Matty with soda and chips, her nose scrunched "Yes I called her, it took me five whole minutes to stop her sobbing....she is fine though....uhm Alex tried to call.....you know those collect calls?.....I wish he would leave me along ya know....." she tilted her head when he set down the junk food. She was chewing her lower lip, normally she was opposed to things like this but what the hell right? You only lived once right?

So with a smirk she grabbed the coke bottle and then set it down flopped down on her stomach center of Matty's bed, her feet which were covered with socks bounced back and fourth mid-air as she tilted her head and looked at Matty. "Know what Matty why not, lets eat junk food there are ways to burn calories...." she said laughing as she moved her finger over the stitching of his blanket, she paused and then rolled over on her back and un-zipped Matty's jacket and then reached her hands back behind her, the heather gray tank top she wore underneath the jacket rode up a little exposing her belly-button. "But if I am gonna eat junk food with you then......you have to do something for me......you have to.......do some jumping jacks or something" she said laughing softly. She was laughing at the now upside down Matty, she raised a finger and pointed at him.

So, Conner wasn’t disturbing anything? Once again poor Matthew was referred to as a friend…well what more did you expect? And of course, our Matthew Leonardo Antoinette had no idea of the text she was sending Conner. In fact he had no idea they had even exchanged numbers. As the food was placed down and he looked down at his naked feet and topless chest. He scratched the already scratched chest and walked over to his wardrobe, pulling on a t-shirt. He would normally sleep in his boxers but he thought it was rude of him to stand around in just them. “Would you like me to set up one the spare rooms for you Cindre?” He asked and looked at her. He didn’t believe for one second she wanted to share with him…did friends do that? He had no idea, never allowed his own friends to share with him. The only people he had ever showed a bed with was those he was going out with and just because in the past Cindre had slept in the same bed as him…didn’t mean she wanted too now? Or those he was sleeping with. Things had changed, had they not? He rubbed the back of his neck and turned up the heating, he was becoming cold. Even though the large frame male had now got a t-shirt on.

His eyes went to hers as he studied the look in her eyes, at least some sort of emotion was be hide those brown eyes now. At least someone was in there, the wheel now suddenly had a living hamster and not a dead one as before. No longer was the wheel turning but the rodent was dead. She was once again back with him…not figural speaking of course. But she was back to planet earth…good job too. Matt’s eyes moved to the door as it was knocked up, he frowned slightly and turned around, pulling open the door he frowned at the female on the other side of the door. He shook his head at his mother as she stood there with two cups of tea. He smirked slightly and took the tray off her. “Thanks mum, night.” He kissed her forehead and allowed her to wave slightly at Cindre through the door he was currently blocking. His mother left and Matt placed the tray on the table. Looking at Cindre he smirked slightly and shrugged.

Matthew obviously couldn’t win with Cindre, if he was being b*****d she was calling him all names under the sun and if he was being caring she was relating the poor bloke to a father figure. He cared for her in his own way and her mother was a nice women, didn’t she deserve to know her only child was safe? He shook his head slightly as she began to talk about her mother. He didn’t yet sit down, grabbing a t-shirt and a pair of shorts he looked at her slightly and then threw them in her direction. Her PJ’s for the night, he knew all too well the clothes would drown her and make her look adorable, make him want to protect her all the more. She had that effect on him. He tilted his head slightly as she continued the conversation about her mother. She seemed annoyed? Was she annoyed that Matt asked her to phone her own mother. “At least she knows your safe.” Was all he said on the matter and the conversation moved on. Didn’t it always?

The looks she had given him before he left the room had reminded him of when they were together, the feeling to bolt had come on strong. But he had suppressed it, telling himself to be a man and not a mouse. Plus where the hell could he of run too? Other than into another room? Or back to Wednesdays? He wanted how the tiger was doing? Was she thinking about him? Or was she calling him all the names under the sun? Then it struck him, he had given up sex to come home…to be there for Cindre. The thought alone caused his face to drain of colour and he had to sit down, sitting down on the edge of the bed. He stared at the carpet, his mind was panicking. His heart was slamming against his chest and he kept telling himself over and over again. That he had been simply being a good friend, wanted Wednesday to lust after him and not get him every time she pleased. Happy with this reason, the colour returned to the males handsome face and he looked up.

He heard Alex’s name be mentioned and wondered why the police would even allow such a call to be made. He frowned slightly, his fist reacting by curling up and becoming fists. His eyes screamed danger and his whole body seemed stronger as his muscles tensed. His frame grew as the muscles tensed, as the muscles seemed larger than usual out of no where he relaxed. She was safe, she was with him…why should he react anything other than such? She wasn’t with Alex, he couldn’t hurt her now. He shook his head. “It’s stupid how he’s even allowed him to deal your number.” And like before, he reached forward and turned her phone off. “If mine is off, yours has to be too.” He said and smiled that ever so charming smile. Amazing how a certain smile can effect how you appeared to be, how one smile could make your whole face look different. Matt had many smiles, many reasons for faking one. But nothing was fake about his latest smiles, had no need to be. He looked at Cindre as she looked at him upside down and he smirked. “How’s about no.” He said and smiled slightly.

He thought about the words that left her lips and he couldn’t help but raise an eyebrow and smirked. “Oh really, there are other ways are they? I’m pretty sure I have no idea what you’re talking about.” He was a bloke. Sue him! You couldn’t say something like that to one and there mind not refer it too sex. He had offered exercise…so what else could she be talking about? ‘Stop Matthew.’ God, he was getting pretty sick of him telling himself what to do. He would of left himself a long time ago if he could, but this wasn’t possible and so, trying would be pointless would it not? He looked at her for a moment and shifted so he was sitting next to her now, even though she wasn’t sitting. He got up and grabbed the crisps and dip. Opening the doritoes and opening the salsa dip. He ate some and looked around his room thoughtfully. “I bet she’s glad you rung you know.” He said talking about her mother. He sat back down and leaned his back against the wall.

Maddie had no idea about Conner and the fact he now had Cindre’s number, had no idea that the other had basically asked her to come skiing with him. Had no idea she was losing a friend because she was pushing him away? Had no idea where Matt was at this moment in time, didn’t know what James was doing with Suki and didn’t know what the rest of the populars was doing and for once. She didn’t care. She wasn’t in school anymore, didn’t need to know everything. Her phone was in her car, she had no idea it was buzzing away like mad. No idea her mother had been called by Conner’s mother, no idea of anything except the fear she was feeling. The fact she could of easily been killed. He could of kidnapped her and taken her to his house, no one would of known. She had stupidity kept this all to herself. It had bite her in the arse, Maddie watched Conner for a moment. He seemed to become somewhat shy. As he looked over her body, she smiled slightly. The male was utterly adorable, she wasn’t sure if this was a good or a bad thing?

The male blushed and Maddie once again couldn’t help but to think how cute the other was. It was almost sickening how cute he was. Like a cute little puppy. She had no idea what he was thinking about, how he was preparing her to a mermaid. How good would it be to be able to read minds? “Yes…but I do hope you don’t drool. Snoring I can live with.” She smiled as his cheeks flushed more. “Are you seriously real?” She whispered and leaned forward, kissing his cheek. She smiled at him and nodded. “You’re a gentleman Conner. Not enough guys like you.” She said and looked towards the cat. She smiled at her and stroked her gently and then brought her hands back to herself. As he stood up, her eyes followed him then looked down at the hand. Slowly she took it and curled her fingers around his. Her manicure nails were no where near his skin, she didn’t want to scratch him.

She followed the male into his room, making her legs work. She realised that she’d have to go home tomorrow and wasn’t sure she was okay with that. She had no spare clothes and the spare clothes in her car was at home. How the hell was she going to get to school or even back to her home. How the hell was she going to be able to change her outfit? Her black cardigan was wet with tears and make up and the outfit needed burning. She looked back at the door as it was mentioned, not sure if she should indeed lock it. Would she feel safer or boxed in? Maddie stared at the lock for some time, debating with herself how she would feel. Slowly, Maddie reached forward and locked the door. She turned around and looked at the male, tilting her head when he spoke about the hot chocolate she smiled. Then the light was turned off and she wondered if he believed she could drink it in the dark. What time was it anyway…weren’t they going to bed early? This was perhaps the earliest she had gone to bed. She slowly brought the cups to her lips and had some, then placing the cup down on the side.

How did she feel about sharing a bed with him? Maddie wasn’t all that sure yet, she just knew tonight…she didn’t want to be alone. Slowly she climbed into the bed and using Conner as a wall, as he had got the wall himself. She snuggled close to him, her head on his chest, her hand holding his shirt. Her thumb and index finger…rubbing the material between her fingers. It was a comfort thing…she had done it since she was three. She didn’t even know she was doing it anymore. As he spoke, Maddie smiled slightly and slowly nodded. No doubt he could feel this on his chest. “Thanks” She said softly and allowed those blue eyes to close, her legs against his. Her head listening to his heart beat, her hand stroking his chest as she ran her thumb over the material of his shirt. As he said never, Maddie smiled and for once in a long time. She felt safe, she felt at ease in someone’s company. She felt warm…in a different way. As his arms wrapped around her and he rubbed her forearm. She slowly…fell asleep.

One wicked turn of events turned into something that was manageable, after the whole vicious attack from Alex Cindre had seemed to dim down in her luster for a little while. The night she spent with Matty helped her psychologically but in the long run was it really something to be toying with? The flirting was nice, the touching was sentimental in the end Cindre coaxed Matty into allowing her to cuddle with him. The clothes he had tossed at her was looked with a smirk and then she took it to the bathroom to change. The results were oddly adorable, his clothes slightly fell off her, she had pressed her finger to her lip thoughtfully when she came out. The guest room was offered and she shook her head, she was physically scared but she wasn't embarrassed to be around him, after all she had fooled around with him, it just never ever lead to sex. Cindre ignored his protests ensuring that she wasn't out to pressure him out of the single life, nor was she out to have any kind of sex. What she wanted was cuddling and nothing else. Oh course when Matty raised and eyebrow it made her look nervous, Cindre was not the cuddling type. When they were dating usually the only usage of the bed was for the foreplay. Cuddling wasn't an option, and yet right now that's all she felt like doing. Simply cuddling, so when he slipped into bed she scooted back so that her back was against his chest. She wasn't expecting it, maybe she was even hoping he didn't but when Matty made the motions to slip his arms around her waist she didn't object. Instead she rested her hand on his hands and then found herself moving her moving her finger tips idly over the tops of his hands.

The next morning when they woke the realization of what they had done was present in both of their slightly shocked faces. How odd it was that for once Cindre and Matty lay in the same bed without having any sexual encounters. Of course this revelation only made Cindre smirk, they were supposed to be getting ready for school, it was the 'good' thing to do. And yet Cindre found herself turning over so she could face Matty, she lay there watching him quietly. You know things could actually be pleasant when there was no conversation, Cindre slowly reached her hand out and moved her fingers over his jawline. She scooted forward and found herself kissing him, softly at first.

Whether Matty wasn't fully awake or whether she had actually gotten a rise out of him was unknown, either way Cindre found herself kissing Matty for far longer than she had the previous night. She made no attempts to touch him improperly, her lips were doing all the work moving from his lips to his neck. She stopped and then smiled against his neck "Thanks for everything Matty.....try not to think about me..." she whispered against his neck before kissing him rather hard, she patted his chest and then slid out of his bed. If Matty was looking Cindre took no notice, she changed out of the clothes she was given the night before and then she quickly slipped into her own. She blew Matty a kiss and then she was gone, out of his house before he could say anything to her.

                                  xoxo twelve days later oxox

Over the days that followed Cindre found herself drowned in all her homework, she was oblivious to almost everything. There was a glow about Cindre that was oddly causing more heads to turn than most days. She was the Tennis Cutie but lately she was looking more and more alluring to the males, and yet she pushed each of them aside. Matty was treated like he normally was minus the fighting, she waved at him every now and again and if he stopped her she made conversation. The consistent pursuing though that was gone, she wasn't going to force him out of the single life and quite frankly Cindre was liking the idea of not having any strings attached when it concerned guys. She accumulated a few boyfriends but none of them lasted very long. Cindre was unsure if it was the looks Matty gave them or if it was something she did directly, either way the relationship was broken off. When she wasn't stalked by guys at school she was at the Tennis court on the far side of Denver batting the ball around. With no opponent Cindre decided to pop in her headphones and hit the ball against the brick wall. It wasn't before too long that she finally got herself an opponent, it was a female of course and the two could be seen on a regular basis passing the ball around rather viciously if I might add.

A rumor had been started a while back that the owner of Fluid Coffee had retired and handed over ownership to her mother, well kiddo's that rumor was one hundred perfect factual. Matter of fact Cindre would go there after school if she didn't feel like practicing, her mother had given her a job there. And to tell you the truth there was nothing wrong with serving coffee, actually aside from starbucks the business was pretty good. At the moment it was cold, a cold December fourteenth at six pm and where was Cindre? She was at Fluid Coffee Bar wiping down the table tops, humming a little song to herself as she continued on with her work. The shop was big enough for less than twenty people and Cindre after the first week was well over able to manage them all on her own. Enya was playing softly in the background as she moved around the shop washing off counters, she kinda disliked her Uniform but then she kinda didn't. Many told her that pink accentuated her features, they had said that it made her face radiant or something.

Cindre was thinking about nothing in particular, life was grand Nationals were coming up very very soon actually in two days time. In a way she was slightly nervous, hadn't Connor offered to go along with her? She had specifically asked Matty to come along with her, here was where she was conflicted. Even if she didn't want to push Matty on the single life she hoped that Matty would remember and want to go along with her. And yet at the same time she hoped Connor had not forgotten his offer on both accounts as far as the ski trip and her Nationals trip. In school she had seen a lot of Connor and each time she greeted him pleasantly but each time she greeted him she felt the butterflies. The little clutter of butterflies seemed to permanently remain in her stomach, she had caught herself a few times forcing herself to stop looking at him in Math class. See Connor and Matty were different, Connor brought on butterflies, he was sweet and innocent. And Cindre wanted to explore that avenue if he would allow it. And then there was Matty, she loved Matty in a different way. He made her heart race, he gave her goosebumps. When she caught him looking off or just casually chatting with his popular friends god did he look sexy. She found herself thinking of ways to go over there just so she could look into those deep blue eyes.

Back in his room when she needed him he seemed so different, so willing to be sentimental and she loved every second. Outside of his room she felt like an outsider, like talking to him was forbidden, but then he was a popular so of course it was forbidden. Peasants were stepped on, and even if she was a jockette she still was below him. But still in her own way still popular in a different way, Matty had all the looks and she had the talent. Cindre gasped and dropped her rag when the bell chimed on the top of the door, indicating a customer had come inside. She offered a smile at the guest, it was Gavyn her step brother, you know that was another thing that was patched up, her and Gavyn were no longer enemies. Actually Gavyn was the one that initiated the break in the animosity after all it wasn't her fault their daddy was a f-ck up. And that was something they mutually agreed on. "Oh hey Gavyn same as always....where is Meeli?" she asked as she picked up the rag and moved behind the front counter so she could start making Gavyn's coffee. "Uhmn actually I am not sure" he said as he took a seat and then pulled out his cellphone and attempted a text message, she assumed it was to Meeli asking where she was.

Cindre made Gavyn's coffe and then set it on the table and wiped her hands on a towel and then offered him a reassuring smile "Oh maybe she is still doing some Ballet practice you know how she is starting afternoon practice...." Cindre offered trying to cheer up her step brother. Gavyn offered her a weak smile and then shrugged it off "no sometimes I think she is upset with me....on our date I think i went a little too far...." Cindre looked apologetic, they had been over this one already. And each time Cindre had reassured him that Meeli was alright, she wouldn't avoid Gavyn for something like that, if anything she would smack him and then talk it out. Cindre looked up at the clock seeming slightly anxious "Thanks for coming around Gavyn....and you know Meeli is fine.....she is perfectly fine, your gonna be silly when she comes in and explains everything...." she offered playfully. Gavyn nodded and then leaned back in his chair drumming his fingertips on the counter tops "So this Connor fellow he isn't like that Alex guy is he?.....speaking of him I heard the judge let him off or something...." Cindre froze and then bit her lip the cup she had in her hand from a previous table slipped from her fingers. Gavyn caught the plummeting cup and then paused his drumming fingers. "Sheesh Cindre you act like you didn't know he has been out for like four hours that's why I came in....." Gavyn said looking more nervous for Cindre than anything.

No absolutely not! She didn't know he was coming out! But Cindre took a deep breath and then regained any lost composure after all why did she need to be nervous? Alex was not going to make her be that way, she had suffered enough hadn't she? Not only that but she had put herself through some emotional strain. Her mother was suffering the worst of it mind you what with Cindre being extremely touching for the first few days after leaving Matty's house. Cindre didn't wanna think about Matty right now, and not because she didn't care about him, oh no it was never that. She just didn't wanna think of the things Matty would do if he knew that Alex was out and walking the streets. She had seen first hand the kind of damage that Matty was capable of and that was him being nice about it. She shook her head shifting her thoughts away from Alex and back to what was in front of her. Gavyn's expression changed and he seemed a lot more happy, he picked up his coffee and took a sip giving Cindre a thumbs up. Cindre said nothing instead she made her way back behind the counter where the coffee makers were, she moved down the aisles and then slipped into the storage room which was on the far side of the counter behind a set of swinging doors. Cindre picked up a few boxes and then re-entered the Fluid Coffee Bar and started to arrange displays on the front counter, she replaced some supplies and then put the boxes back. She pulled out her cellphone and looked down at the face, she shrugged when she saw no new messages or voice-mails, she liked it that way. Cindre shrugged a little and the looked around to see how many customers she had, it was just Gavyn. One handed Cindre moved her thumb over her touch screen and started to form a text to Matty.

                                  To: Matty
                                  From Shorty
Hey not to get you all excited or nothing but I thought I would let ya know your pal is outta jail, Gavyn just told me, if your free I wouldn't mind some company at the Coffee bar, Gavyn is here too maybe you two can catch up a little

Cindre his the SEND button and then slipped her touch phone back into her pocket, she was being honest she wouldn't mind is he popped over but she wasn't making a big deal on it if he wanted to stay wherever it was he was staying. She smirked when Gavyn called her to the table, someone had sent him a funny text. Cindre leaned forward to look at the message and then the two snorted and erupted in laughter, that was the first time in a long time Cindre actually laughed. She pulled back pressing her hand to her chest to catch her breath and then covered her mouth unable to stop the giggles

That night was free of arguments, free of sexual tension, free of a lot of things. He spoke and made conversation, the subject was kept off him and stayed on Cindre. It was about her that night and it had nothing to do with Matthew. He didn’t feel uncomfortable in her company, he didn’t feel uneasy and he didn’t want to bolt. He had done very well, even when she said she wanted to stay with him. A lot of things passed through his mind as she said she wanted to slept next to him, the first being how he’d deal with the heat. He wasn’t very good at actually sleeping next to people, let alone cuddling. If he got too hot he ended up being awake the whole night, however he didn’t get too hot and when he did…he pulled his clothes off and slept in his boxers. She didn’t seem to mind, and he didn’t mind her being that close to him either. It was a break through, at least for Cindre.

The next morning he woke up to her lips on his, as his eyes fluttered open as she stopped him from breathing through his mouth. He almost panicked and then kissed her back, amazed she was willing to stand morning breath. He smirked and caught the kiss, pretending to put it in his pocket. Like he was six, he soon fell asleep after she left. That was all he saw of her, they exchanged smiles and waves but she gave him his space. He was glad of it, she allowed him to breath. He was beginning to want her close to him again and this alone was enough to make the poor male confused. The fog was slowly lifting between them, would she continue to hold out for him? Or would Conner be the one to have her? How would he deal with it, if Conner asked her out?

For the next twelve days he saw plenty of his friends, Maddie seemed somewhat different. She wasn’t so bitchy at least not with her friends. The rest of the school still got a mouthful when they pushed her, but she wasn’t so bad. He had no idea what had happened the night she spent with Cindre, but she seemed different from that day. He spent as much time with his friends as possible, even saw Wednesday around school. She now got a nod of acknowledge and a smile. It was somewhat of a big thing, he’d seen her a couple of times out too. Had a few drinks with her and went back to hers. He was living the single life up and then when he went home…he didn’t like his own company as much. He liked seeing Cindre and he disliked seeing her with other males. He had no idea what that meant and most of the time, he hated being jealous.

He spent a lot of time with his dog as well, in fact he was falling in love all over again with her. He smirked slightly and as walked around the park. His soft grass under his feet felt nice as he walked. Whistling for the dog to come back, Sasha ran towards him her tail wagging. He smiled slightly and chuckled some, stroking the mud covered dog. He walked back home, pulling out his phone. He looked at his messages and replied to them, ignoring the gossip ones. Matt put his phone back in his pocket. He smiled slightly and looked back to his dog, she looked up at him and Mattie merely smiled. He walked with her back to his home and took her outside. Matt looked at the garden hose and smirked, turning the warm on first and making sure it was at least loo warm…he began to spray his dog. Leaning over and grabbing a towel, he rubbed her dog and then took his inside. Grabbing a hair dryer and her brush, he tried and styled the dogs hair. She looked beautiful, he kissed her nose and smirked as she licked her nose after he kissed it.

He hadn’t heard from Cindre from a while and there was giving a male his space and then avoiding him…was she avoiding him? He looked around his room and decided to tidy it. Not having much else to do, he put all his clothes away, even went as far as hovering his room. It looked good and it smelt nice too. Wednesday had even taught him how to play the guitar a little. It was amazing what you could learn in 12 days. He knew one or two songs and he was getting better. Would do with practise apparently. He smiled slightly and looked around room once more, closing his window. He looked down at his clothes and grinned slightly. He was wearing jeans, trainers, t-shirt and jacket. He looked rather relaxed today, of course most of his clothes were designer but that was beside the point. He still looked relaxed all the same. He looked around and shook his head, he bite his lip and felt his phone vibrate. He looked down at his pocket as it came to life, he smiled slightly and pulled it out. Reading the text he frowned and couldn’t believe it. They had let Alex out? Where they insane? He frowned deeply and almost crushed his phone.

He placed the phone down for a moment and took a deep breath, annoyed that they had let him out. Annoyed he’d have to bother with him again. He shook his head and opened the message once more. Pressing reply he looked at the keys. For a moment words escaped him and he had no idea what he wanted to say, did he want to see Gavyn? Was he really wanting to see the brother of a girl who’s heart he broke? When Matt split with Cindre, Gavyn and Matt weren’t on speaking terms. In fact Cindre had to stop Gavyn attempting to beat Matt up, Matt knew he could take him. The male was all bark, but Cindre talked him out of it. Weather this was because she too was worried for Gavyn’s safety, or perhaps she liked how Matt’s face was already arranged. Who knew? Matt looked at the phone, they were friends now. Sure. But Matt was pretty sure this was because Cindre talked him into it, plus they were somewhat in the same social circle…somewhat. He finally allowed his fingers to glide over the message pad.

                                          To: Cindre
                                          From: Matt
Can’t believe they have let the Pr**k out.
If he comes within breathing distance of you, I’ll permanently rearrange his face.
                                          Be there shortly.

He pressed send. Shortly could mean a lot of things coming from Matt, it may mean she’d see him in a while, maybe hours or possibly…minutes. He shook his head and gathered his stuff, it was too cold for shades, plus he was pretty sure it was going to rain. He grabbed his car keys and smirked slightly, he wasn’t sure which car to drive…his Audi, BMW or his other car? He smirked and looked at the car keys chosen; Yellow Ferrari here he came. He smirked and grabbed his wallet, slipping it into his pocket, he grabbed his phone and put that in them wonderful pockets too. He walked downstairs and into his very own garage, stroking his baby Audi. He slipped into the Ferrari and pulled out of the garage. Matt loved his toys, cars were his biggest weakness. Plus, his step dad continued to buy him them…to keep the male sweet.

It wasn’t a well known fact that Matt was actually rather good at sports, he tended to keep that to himself. He never did want to be a jock, Matt loved extreme sports. He lived off the thrill of jumping from planes and what have you. He hadn’t done it for a while, but tomorrow was a whole new day and he was trying something new…who else could say they were going to swim with sharks without the cage? He loved the thrill…so what if he died. He smirked slightly and drove down his road, the car grabbed peoples attention even without seeing Matt. He pulled up outside the coffee shop and peered in, looking in and seeing Cindre. He waved slightly and went to park the car. He got out and locked it, walking into the shop. He smiled at the two of them and looked around, it was rather empty. What was up with that? Matt had caused some attention to gather around the window, most of them had seen the car and then Matt. It was amazing how much of a chick magnet his cars were. Good job they didn’t know him…huh? He sat down at the same table as Gavyn and nodded to the male. “Afternoon.” He said and looked up at Cindre. “Hey Shorty.” It just rolled off his tongue…didn’t it? He didn't want to be the first to bring up...what's-his-face. Should he just leave it? She seemed to be okay...seemed-to-be-okay.

The large, warm, and smooth hand of Gavyn caressed the side of her face and tilted her head a bit to the side as his tounge ventured further into her inviting mouth. Her cheeks lit up to a brighter shade of pink and slowly she rested her hands on his back. It wasn't long until she could feel Gavyn gently pushing her along the limo seat to the far corner where he hovered over her small frame. Her breath hitched as her body was pressed against his, the evidence of his arousal clear as daylight as it was pressed against her hip. Meeli raked her fingers through his hair and smiled as she heard a moan emitt from deepen within his throat as their deep, passionate kiss continued. The hand that was on her cheek dropped and she paid no mind to it...not until that hand was cupping another part of her body. She let out a suprised gasp and shyly wrapped her arms over her chest, looking at his flushed and guilty face as he apologized for getting a little carried away. Then he told her that it was fine for her to tell him to stop but that's the thing; she didn't want him to stop. "You're not stopping anytime soon..." She murmured as she leaned forward to kiss him once again. Gavyn didn't hesitate to return his hand back to her chest but rather than pulling away, she leaned against his hand and let out a loving mewl. Their kiss broke with a soft smack as Gavyn pulled back gently to pull her onto his lap and trail his lips along her neck. Meeli tilted her head to the side, her hot pants hitting his ear as her hands rested on his firm sides. Her long legs circled around his waist and she pressed herself closer, her body just as hot and eager as his. Thankfully before they could get carried away, the limo came to a stop, as did they. Meeli undid her legs and sat back on the limo seat, frowning lightly as Gavyn looked away from her. Leaning forward, she caressed his face and moved it so that he was now facing her. "Don't be sorry, Gav." She told him gently, those blue eyes gazing at him with an adoring look. Smiling, she first straightened out her hair and dress before waiting for him to calm down his little...excitement.

When they finally stepped out of the limo, they joined hands and walked into the diner together as a happy couple. The crutches stayed behind despite Meeli's words against it but in the end, she let him do what he wanted. Besides, she understood just why he didn't want to take them. Tonight Gavyn wanted to be the perfect boyfriend and hold her hand as they walked rather than limp around with a crutch under his armpits. Dixie escorted them to their booth and they made their order of drinks before gazing through the menu. "I'm in the mood for lasagna....and I'm hoping you'll be ordering something with frieees." She stressed the word fries, grinning as he leaned in to kiss her nose. Meeli loved the diner's fries but rather than ordering her own, she enjoyed sneaking some from Gavyn which he did not mind. When the waitress came back with Meeli's large iced tea and Gavyn's coca-cola, they placed their orders and set aside their menus. Resting her head against Gavyn's shoulder, she moved her hand forward and held his hand, her fingers running lacing with his. "After this are you going back to your house or did you want to have a sleepover at mine?" She asked softly as she looked at their joined hands. Nodding, she listened to him explain how he wasn't ready to face his mother after what she's put them through and that he'd rather spend the night at her place. Meeli was more than happy to hear that he would be spending the rest of the night at her place but she also wanted him to resolve things with his mother. Ms.Craven adored Meeli, so she had believed, and so there had to be a good reason for the sudden betrayal. When their food arrived, neither hesitated to dig in and it didn't take Meeli long to smell the delicious crispy fries sitting on Gavyn's plate. Tapping him on the shoulder, she leaned forward for a kiss as he turned and as he met her lips, her hands snuck into his plate. She would also do the point-at-an-imaginary-object and grab game. Each time she was caught red-handed, Gavyn would tickle her sides and attack her with loving, smothering kisses.

As they finished up eating, Gavyn insisted on paying the entire bill instead of doing the usual where they would both chip in. Not wanting to discourage his gentlemen-like manners, she allowed him to pay both the bill and their waitress' tip. Hand in hand, they exited the diner with full stomachs and big smiles on their faces. "Back to my house, please." She told the driver as they got in, the tinted window between the front of the limo and the back beginning to close to give them their privacy. Then time repeated itself. At first they shared loving murmurs and kisses but then suddenly they were all over each other again. Maybe they had finally reached that point where neither could resist the forbidden crimson apple hanging above their heads. His groans and her soft gasps began to fill the back part of the limo, the cold windows fogging up from the heat that was building from inside. "G-Gavyn..we..n-need to stop.." She panted as his lips taunted the hot flesh of her neck and collar bone as his hands ran along her legs. "Gavyn..." With a frustrated groan, he pulled back and another string of apologies followed. And like that, God warned them once more of the forbidden fruit. It really wasn't his fault when she was the one encouraging him to continue with her soft mewls and although she told him this, he shook his head and claimed that he should have better control. Resting her head against his shoulder, she hugged him and placed a kiss to his arm. "Never be sorry..."

The rest of the ride was...calmer and they enjoyed their company as they spoke about upcoming plans. Like how they were both eager for the skii trip, Gavyn's big football game, and Meeli's upcoming life-changing ballet recital. Once they finally arrived in front of her house, Gavyn paid the shouffer for the night before escorting Meeli, with crutches in one hand, to the front door. Inside they were bombarded with questions from her family. Meeli decided to answer only one. "The παίζω was μεγαλειώδης! εσύ κι εγώ παπάγια έχω σε παρακολουθώ αυτό μία μέρα! και εγώ είχα έναs εκπληκτικός ώρα με Gavyn he's θαυμάσιος." Glancing to Gavyn as she spoke of him, she smiled brightly before excusing themselves to her bedroom. "εμείs ήδη έφαγα και Gavyn is κοιμάται πάνω!" She told them as she led Gavyn upstairs to her bedroom. Inside her bedroom, she looked for a pair of pajamas and left Gavyn to get comfortable in her room while she changed in her bathroom. When she returned, she was in her pajamas and in the mood for a good movie. Spotting Gavyn on her bed, flipping through the channels of the television located across from her bed, she smirked and took a step back. She was always ready for another round of wrestling with him. Tackling him against the bed, she snorted and began fighting over the remote to the television with him. Okay, so he won that round but she would get him on the next. Resting back against him, she smiled as he held her close and let her pick the movie on pay-per-view. As the movie began to play, the lights were turned off by Meeli's father who had came up to check on them. Hey, if you heard the bed of your teenage daughter rocking, you would get a bit suspicious, too. "Watch the hands. Good night kiddos." Nicholas Kecca told them, his face serious but his eyes smiling as he recalled the wrestling matches the two would always have as young children. Meeli giggled as the door was closed and nuzzled her face against Gavyn's chest. "I love you, Romeo..."

The morning following that day, Meeli expected everything to be perfect from then on as she watched her family and Gavyn gather at the kitchen table for breakfast, but she should have known better than to believe everything would stay perfect like that. Ever since their date, Gavyn has been acting a little strange around her, he has been more...distant. He isn't as affectionate as he used to be, but this sudden change in behavior couldn't be because of the fact that he was no longer "losing" her. Also, he apologizes for the silliest bits. A few days back, his hand accidently brushed against her rear, which she did not notice until he began to blurt out apologies. Meeli put the pieces together and then knew that what had happened in the limo obviously was bothering him to the point where he feels that he shouldn't touch her in the slightest way. Although she had told him that he didn't need to be sorry, he continued to feel guilty about the matter. She needed to talk to him and soon before he completely deprives her of affection. "Another set of thirty crunches. We need to work those cores." The ballet instructor spoke as she passed the bodies resting against the floor, their bodies curling forwards as they worked the muscles in their abodomens. Snapping out of her thoughts, Meeli crossed her arms over her chest and began to lean forward to her knees, in time with the instructor's counting. "I really shouldn't space out like that. I need to put all my concentration into the recital." She motivated herself silently. With each crunch, her eyes locked with a pair of blue ones of which belonged to a certain male, who was currently holding her feet down at the moment.

Kaius was that male holding down her feet as she did her crunches. They had first met in the cafeteria two weeks ago but after a while of spending time together in the ballet studio, they were practically like best friends. It was crazy how quickly they became good friends in just severals hours in a day for two weeks. When the thirty crunches ended, it was time for them to swtich places. Kaius was now resting on his back, knees up and feet held down by none other than Meeli. She watched as he did his crunches with ease, actually, they were more like sit-ups, and gave him an encouraging smile. At first, Meeli was appalled to discover that Kaius was a danseur, a dancer. It's not as if it were hard to believe, oh no. In closer observation, any ballet dancer could detect the arms muscles required in order to lift ballerinas and the leg muscles for the high leaps in his body. Not to mention that he did look like the kind of guy that was enrolled into ballet at a young age. She was appalled by the fact that he was very comfortable with sharing his love for ballet. Unlike several other young men who would hide it in fear of being called gay. Meeli was even more shocked to see just how great of a dancer he is and how alike their dancing styles were. There was no doubt in her mind that he was very talented, probably the best male dancer in the class. "Okay, good work. Now everyone grab a jump rope and give me thirty jumps on your toes." Madame Renee told them as she brought out the box of jump ropes. Meeli let go whenever Kaius' sit-ups cames to an end and as he stood, she thanked him as he helped her up. "She sure is making us practice today, don't you just love it?" She asked him with a grin as they went to grab their jump rope. Practice was never a burden to Meeli and it shouldn't be to anyone. The only reason she was able to become so wonderful in ballet was because of how hard she practiced. All of the students lined up against the mirrored walls and began to start their jumps, individually keeping track of how many they've done. Whenever the first twenty minutes of their weekly exercising came to an end, they were given a ten-minute break. Meeli and Kaius sat against the wall and shared the small container of grapes Meeli had packed. "I'm so excited for this, Kaius! I don't think i can wait any longer." She told him in a giddy voice, smiling brightly as she pulled out her phone from her duffel bag.

                              To: Gavyn
                              From: Meelerz
                              Hello there, Romeo! I'm at ballet practice;
we should be done in forty minutes.
You are welcomed to come and watch me c:
<33 Afterwards we can go do whatever you'd like

Closing her phone, she looked back to Kaius and murmured an apology before he could continue the conversation she had started up. Meeli broke off a grape from its twig and popped it into her mouth, savoring the sweetness of it. She smiled and offered him a few more grapes. "So you know how we're all doing random pieces. Well are you going to do your own freestyle or will you dance a classical? Oh and don't forget that we still need to decide on a dance we have to do together. I'll text you sometime soon and we'll meet up to talk about it." Listening, to his various ideas, she told him that she was more than willing to watch each dance he had in mind and give him her opinion. She was able to see quite a few of his freestyle dances and really liked how he incorporated hip-hop into his ballet. It was pretty much what she did whenever she needed to create her own dance. Only she would train the dance moves from other dances into a ballet move, to keep the grace of ballet. The ten minute break was soon over and Meeli set aside the grapes and her bottle of water. As she got into her place at the balance rail where they would do their stretches, she wondered if Gavyn would come. She loved to see his face during each spin she made and especially loved the way he looked at her as she danced. It was the look of love.

ooc: Translation one-The play was magnificent! You and papa have to watch it one day! And I had an amazing time with Gavyn, he's wonderful.

Kaius noticed all of the red and sweaty faces of his fellow dancers as he did every sit up. Kai had finally found out Meeli's name, well he had to since they were partners for the show. As soon as he heard the voice of the teacher his head snapped up and followed directions. After he had recieved that jump rope he smiled his child-ish smile and began jumping. He started off slowly like all the others and scroffed slightly at te slow pace. He picked up the speed and finished before the others. Kaius watched Meeli do her 'ballerina thaaaang'

Kaius wa pretty happy that they had become really close friends. It made him feel conforta since no one at shool really knows that he was apart of this ballet shin dig. Meeli was pretty well, pretty. Her blue eyes always had that certain sparkle an the way her small figure moves so smoothly across the dance floor, after Meeli was finished with her jumping of the ropes they leaned against the wall and pulled out those delicious grapes.

Meeli had pulled out her phone and was most likely texting the one and only Gavyn. "Hm?" Kaius' deep loveable voice had normally caught the attention of most. "Oh, well i like working with you alot, so we should hmm...." Kaius took a grape and popped it into his mouth letting his teeth crush down on it. The taste and feel of the delicious grape juice explode in his mouth made him smile. "Yum yum yum" he smiled and rubbed his stomach gently. "We can go to my house, move some stuff, and practice when ever you'd like. Our routine shall dominate!" Kaius raise his arms and made a slightly silly face. "I was pretending to be a strong man like hm... Hercules." Kaius chuckled and pushed Meeli gently. They had kinda given each other some Nick names, well Kaius kinda got his from one ofthe kids from school that had said he resembled a bear. Big, loving, and protective. So Meeli kinda called his Teddy bears sometimes. Kaius wiggled his nose and laughed "Do you have any ideas for the routine?" He asked curiously.
