"Come One, Come all!"

Where did this Circus come from? Do you really care? You just want to go inside and see what it has to offer. Will it amuse you? Will it rattle your brain and kick fire your imagination? Will it utterly amaze you? You walk in. There is something not quite right. Everything looks normal. Maybe it's just you imagination. Lets watch the show.

"Come and see the amazing acts and performances..."

You take a deep breath. Time to go on. You've be practising for quite some time now. You can almost do this act in you're sleep. That thought amuses you. In your sleep. Interesting. You look down at your hand. It looks slightly translucent. You're dead but you're living.

How did you die again? How long ago was that? You clench you hand into a fist. You feel nothing. It saddens you. Why did you have to die so young? At least you'll be young forever now.

The fact that you can almost see trough you hand doesn't bother you. It's happened before. You know that the audience can't see what you do. They're too far away in their seats. No one in the crew ever asks for assistants from the crowd. It could end badly.

The show starts. You're up. You walk out into centre ring. The lights are blinding but you smile trough them. Everyone is hushed. Lets go.

"Of the Circus of the Dead!"

The show was amazing. You loved that one part. It was fantastic. All the performers seemed to be glowing at the end when everyone was clapping and cheering. You smile uncontrollably. Maybe you could sneak back and meet that performer you really like. Will you decide to chance it? What's the worst that could happen?

"It will amaze you."

More about the plot itself; I feel like I need to explain a bit more about the circus. The people who preform in the Circus are all dead. No living hidden among them. Once they die, they appear at the gates of the circus, usually feeling like they had just woken up. The Ringmaster created the circus and also meets the newly arrived at the gates. No one, not even him/her, is sure how he knows when someone new is at the gates. The newly dead always arrive at night, when no one is around. Being dead but living is odd. It's like their in immortal bodies that are the exact same as their originals, but their original bodies have been buried or what ever their religion at the time calls for. These body do disappear though, so they require human emotion from "Dying" again. Their current bodies fade over time, usually they are slightly translucent by sun rise, not enough to be too noticeable by the pubic unless they look too much. If they don't preform and get a reaction off the crowd, the continue to fade away and eventually they'll just be gone which is like dying. They think. Everyone's a bit too worried to really find out. When they do get a reaction from the crowd, they return solid. The larger the reaction, the longer it lasts.

When the circus leaves town, it doesn't really vanish, it just moves on, but since no one really needs sleep, they leave during the night and are extremely quiet about it. I am allowing the characters in the circus to have one or two minor powers that assist them during their performance. Nothing over the top though.

General: Follow the ToS. We all know that. Seriously. If you don't know that by now, the hell are you doing here? I'm are the authority here. Follow what I say, please. Respect me, and I will return it. Respect the other roleplayers as well. Start flaming and you'll be kicked out. I'm trying to be a little tougher on people, so if you displease me, you'll be declined or kicked out. To avoid from displeasing me, follow the rules and post often enough.
Literacy: As stated in the first post in this roleplay, this is a lazy literate to advanced literate roleplay. If this is your first time encountering a roleplay that uses the term lazy literate, it basically means you are good with grammar and spelling, but you are just too lazy to read over what you have written. That would be what I am. I've been told that I could be advanced literate but I'm just too lazy to read over what I typed. To reach this level of literacy, I expect everyone to be able to write at least three paragraphs containing three sentences when in a writers block. To help with writers block, I suggest describing the detail of the surrounding area.What does your character see, smell, hear, taste, or feel? One liners will not be tolerated. I'm okay with foul language, but don't over do it. No one needs to be swearing every other word. Even though, some of my characters can get pretty swearsy sometimes. I hate text talk, so don't do it. Not even texting, do I use text talk.
Characters: First off, your character has to make sense. They can't hate women, then only hang around them, trying to make friends. I'm only allowing two characters to start off. Once you show me you can handle them, you may ask to have another. I will then tell you yes or no. You have to be able to keep up with these characters. No auto hitting. It pisses people off. You do this and you'll get a warning. Do it again and your kicked. No third chance. If you wish to quit, let me know and we can either make your character a playable character for anyone to use, or we'll kill them off. You can not post until your character is approved by me. I've seriously had someone post before they were accepted because they got cocky and just figured they were accepted. They were not.
Posting: Please don't use blinding colours when coding you layouts. They hurt my eyes and I'm sure I'm not the only one. Make you post visually appealing. I don't want just a photo, name and text. That's boring. Post as often as you can. I would really like it if everyone posted once a day, but I understand that people have lives offline. Unlike me. Because of this, I will settle for people posting once, every two days. If you are going to be away, let not just me know, but everyone else as well. Post it up in the OoC. Same goes if you wish to quit. Other wise, I might end up spamming you. Remember the other rules when posting. Type out your characters actions. Use " " and another colour when talking. Use ' ' and italics when thinking. If you don't post for a while but I also don't see you online, your character(s) will become playable characters for anyone to use until you tell me that you were only gone unexpectedly and wish to have your character(s) back. Saying that, No one can start playing as those characters until I announce it in the role play. Also, no one besides myself can change the time and date of the roleplay. So don't worry about it. PLOT CRAP OUT PEOPLE! It doesn't have to be in the ooc. Sometimes a surprise is nice~
Profiles: All profiles will be sent to me via PM's. No one else. I would like you to title your pm containing your profile 'Title of roleplay. (Character's full name).' This it to be only used as the title for the whole profile. If you wish to reserve a spot, just title the pm the name of the roleplay. This is first come, first serve. Only change the things that is meant for you to change in the profile. This will only be information about your character, colour and a picture. Real pictures for this one, guys.
Other: If I add any new rules, I will notify everyone and they will be in Crimson. Have fun and I feel like I'm forgetting something. Oh well.

Profiles are to be made in their own thread, so there really is not format because you will make your own creative post for each thing. However, some things are required. As long as you have what I ask, you can make other posts. Like, a journal for your character's thoughts or something. Also remember to start your profile under Test Threads. Oh, and send me the link through PM's. The link will then be attached to the image of your reserve.

So, it'll go something like this:

First post is a picture of your character with their name. Picmonkey is your best friend, People.
Second post will have the basics. Name, age, gender, the whole deal. Add anything that you think is the ' basic ' of a profile.
Third will go in depth for your characters personality. Make it interesting!
Fourth is the biography. Feel free to get super creative, just don't make it insane.
Fifth, likes and dislikes, fears, and dreams.
Sixth, your characters relation and opinion of the other characters.
Seven, is your username and those last little bits. You can also put music in here if you'd like.
