The Gunn family used to be quite the happy little bunch. Mr Gunn owned his own successful record company while Mrs Gunn, in the beginning, was a singer. The two fell for each other when they met to discuss business about signing a possible contract and the rest was pretty much history. They lived happily with each other, enjoying the freedoms of being adults with successful careers, until she fell pregnant at the age of 28. Her music career was still very high in performance, but she decided that it was time for her to settle down. With that, their family began. First came the twins, then a boy, and then finally another girl; however, with their youngest addition came a terrible fall for the entire family. Sadly, Mrs Gunn ended up passing shortly after giving birth, due to complications. It was a difficult time for them all, after that. They all tried to manage, but finally Mr Gunn decided that he couldn't stay there any longer. When the eldest of the children turned eighteen, he signed away his guardianship of the younger ones before leaving to "expand his business across the country".

It wouldn't be until roughly eight years later when Mr Gunn finally decides to come back to his family. The only problem? He's also decided to bring his new family along with him. He doesn't know how any of them will take things in the long run, but he hopes that his family can learn to get along.

Time skips for sex.
I want active people; posts happening every day. That means that someone needs to post at least once a day. If the thread is going two or three days without a post, then there's a problem. If you haven't posted in four days without any word on why, then I'll be messaging you.
Don't join if you're not 100% into the story line, because losing motivation isn't wanted.
Posting only requires two paragraphs; quality over quantity. If you're posting nothing but fluff and filler, then that's a problem. People can help you brainstorm if you can't think of what to post. Details are nice, just don't overdue it with five ways on describing a tree.
Don't use any overly used models; if I find that you're wanting to use a model that I've seen too much of, I may ask you to change. This also means no celebrities or internet sensations.
Reserves don't have a title.
Don't even PM me profiles; just post them in the profile thread.
Run anything drastic with me first, whether it's with your character or something that happens in the roleplay. I would prefer if the roleplay was as realistic as possible (that being said, I understand that the world is harsh and some pretty crazy things can happen).
Plotting is good. The OOC is there for more than just general communication on absences and how everyone is doing. If there are any ideas for the roleplay, feel free to quote me at the bottom of your post or PM the idea to me - I'm always up for having events or anything of that go on in a roleplay. Especially one that is more character driven.
Just try to get along with everyone.

Alex was always the problem child, though it didn't fully surface until Mrs Gunn passed away. At a young age, he was sent away by his father and didn't return until he was nineteen, almost unrecognisable due to the ruff and gruff of his appearance, as well as the amount of tattoos on his body. Though as quickly as he came back to his family, he was gone again. Alex said it was for business, but he knew that the modern life wasn't for him. He wasn't the type of person to settle down and act happy in a false image of life, not to mention his starting life in the spotlight. His band formed after that and he grew more popular by the day. Now, he's off and on tours, coming and going through his home town. His family is practically clueless to his life away, which is probably for the best.

Brent always had some urge to join the Army, not exactly to fight for his country but it was just an enticing challenge, especially when he looked at the Army Rangers. So when he was 17 he enlisted under the Delayed Entry Program with Airborne in his contract. He finished training, went through Airborne school, followed by Ranger School, then Ranger Indoc Program. He later served two years of his contract in Afghanistan with the 75th Ranger Regiment. Brett loves the camaraderie and brotherhood he joined when he became a Ranger and re-upped for another four years, most of which was spent in Combat Zones away from family. Now at the end of his enlistment he opted out of the Active Army into the National Guard so he could be around his family, the Army having taken a lot of time to be around them from him.

Nikolette had her ups and downs in life. She's like a second mother to her younger brother and sister. She's protective over the younger ones and is always looking out for them. She tries to help her mom with whatever she can, getting a second job if her mother needs help paying bills. Now being older she feels like she watches over the family more than she feels like she is apart of it. In high school Nikki got good grades, and was never really a trouble student. She also joined a band, always loving to play bass. That's her one get away from everything in life; put on her head set, plug in her bass in the garage and just jam out. She loves her family to death, but sometimes she needs a moment or two to herself. Right now Lette works as a secretary for her boyfriend's lawn business as well as plays gigs on the side to earn a bit of extra money at local coffee shops or bars. She wants to move out of the house, move out on her own or with her boyfriend, but now she's unsure with the new 'family'.

Seina is considered a free spirit and a critical thinker, in her spare time she enjoys to sketch and what she calls "people watching" which often helps her figure out people faster upon meeting them. Back in high school she was top of her art club and known as the girl who loved to skip school when she didn't have her desired friends around, such as Alex and her bestfriend Savannah. As an adult, she acquired a job as a tattoo artist after a few years of apprenticeship, but threw that away when she last hit it off with Alex and went on tour with him. Aside from her side hobbies, she is often considered quiet at first upon meeting people due to the sole fact she is trying to figure people out. Although, after she's had a good idea of how said person is, she is more open and often known to give playful sarcasm at times when it is appropriate. For those who fully know her, she is a high thinker but her flaw is she never reaches for that high goal she speaks of, such as learning the guitar, but she will strive to make sure others reach their goals. Also, a faulty that some may notice is her habit to over think or how overly talkative she may become when she's spent a day without a full on conversation and the lack of concentration she possesses.
