okay okay so i am actually gonna post blurbs for you guys!
first up is nikolai (who i should point out only goes by nix).

so nix's song is drown by bring me the horizon. i kind of
went back and forth for songs for him, because his story fits
quite a few. anyway, nix has been struggling with suicidal ideation.
he's been in & out of foster homes since he was twelve, so his
life hasn't been easy. he self-harms, and has for years, though
it's something he's been working on in therapy and with the
family he's currently staying with. he was placed with them after
his relief from a psych hospital after his first suicide attempt.
he's been doing better, but the thoughts have been coming
back. drown is sort of like a cry for help, and that's kind
of what nix has going on right now. he's trying to be okay, and
he is trying to move past all the bad s**t, and he doesn't want
to let his head win. so. yeah. that's his lyrical connection.
personality-wise, he's got sort of a dry humor. he is an artist.
he loves working with spraypaint, charcoal, and pencil. he's
gotten more into it as a way to cope with his depression.
he's very pessimistic, but he can see the brighter side of things
if it's sort of shoved at him. he's not a typical teenager in the
sense that he really can't stand anything technology based. he
sucks at working computers & cellphones. it take him like fifteen
minutes to send a text, and he can't stand watching tv.


second, i have naomi! she's pretty interesting, tbh. she's into
astrology and "witchy" things like tarot cards, palm readings,
herbology and s**t. she dresses real bohemian most of the time
and is very free-spirited. she has a tendency to get in trouble
because she likes to run her mouth at times that aren't appropriate,
and because sometimes she just decides that skipping class for a
random adventure is more important than her attendance. her song
is mad at myself by issues, which is about a toxic relationship.
she's been dating a guy for about a year and half now who is kind of
an a*****e. they fight a lot, they "break up", he goes and ******** around
with some girls for a few days, and then comes crawling back once
he's had his fun. he's sorta a useless player tbh. she takes him back
every time, even though she's the one who ends up hurt every time
they fight, because she doesn't like the idea of being alone, and
because she's nervous about how he'd act if she left him.

Hi everyone! I'm Riot and I made the character Matias Peri, blurb below in the spoiler.

He represents Avalanche by WALK THE MOON. He's a free spirited, live-in-the-moment, and impulsive young man who has a love for any form of adventure. He doesn't necessarily have bad behaviour in more that he believes the time is now and you need to seize an opportunity if it happens infront of you. He is a romantic of sorts in the sense that he loves to be involved in romantic activities, but that sometimes can be with almost strangers. He can get into bouts of sounding philosophical and can sometimes come off as a bit of a hippy.
Aside from that connection to the song he's the youngest of four four boys, his parents having moved from Budapest to the states before he was born. He usually likes to spend his time doing out of the box things, like slacklining, urban exploring, geocaching, and trying different kind of foods wherever he can find them. He's very open to trying new things, and is usually fearless when it comes to something he hasn't experienced. He has experimented around with a few substances as well as with his sexuality. He generally just finds people in general attractive, and often finds himself getting crushes on multiple people and generally identifies as pansexual and polyamorous. He has shown interest in both film and photography, and would like to pursue both as a career.
His main flaws are how impulsive he is, which can make him a bit unreliable. He's also not always the smartest out there, and he has a habit of leading others on. He also lacks general direction with his life, which he is fine with, but can cause others to be concerned.

Epistemophobia

I can see Caelan and Matias not always seeing eye to eye. Like Caelan seems to have his s**t together, meanwhile Matias is all over the place. Plus Matias lack of clearset goals and impulsiveness might both him too. Although I can still see the two being friends, just more like friends who argue and get on each other's nerves.

I feel like Matias would be confused as to why Anna seems so held back by her family, as he comes from a completely different dynamic.

I can see Matias and Casey getting along and getting into shenanigoats. Matias may not be a rockstar by any means but it seems like he could fit in with the lifestyle. I can Matias and Casey and whoever else going on a partybender every now and again. Matias would also be able to appreciate punk, but also point out that music doesn't have to be punk to be good, even if he can't convince Casey otherwise.

I don't have many eyes between Ajax and Matias except the fondness for animals. If you have ideas I'm happy to listen.

Juno and Matias on the other hand, I just want him to take her out of the shell she seems to have. Like he's aware or has a feeling she's going through things and just wants her to say '******** it' and get out of the slump she's in.

I feel Matias might be a bit much for Nix to handle. Like Matias would be overwhelming for Nix to be around at times and make the other uncomfortable. Although if he can get past that I feel like the two could have an interesting friendship. If you have ideas I'm very open as well ^.^

I feel like Naomi and Matias would be really good friends and really equal influences on each other. Like if one's skipping or on adventure, the other wouldn't be far behind.

he's super into pop punk, which his band
defends hardcore. he likes going to shows,
and having a good time. he's kind of like your
typical class clown type. he's super goofy
and likes making people laugh. he's also hella
talented. he learned guitar through a combination
of his dad teaching him and some self-teaching.
he can sing pretty well, too. he also was really
into drums at one point when he was younger
but he's better on guitar. his song is flavor of the
weak by american hi-fi, which tells the story of
liking a girl who's dating a douche. guess who
that's about~~~~~


next is my dollface, mona, who is actually
really sweet, despite the resting b***h face she
has in the gif above, haha. her song is skin and bones,
and it's not hard to figure out what it's about. she
suffers from anorexia nervosa and self harm, the
former being very, very noticeable as she's actually
quite thin. she's actually a model as well, and her
family is incredibly well off (they have so much money
they don't know what to do with it tbh) but mona
desperately wanted a normal education instead
of the private tutors her older sister enjoyed,
though her mother is still very unhappy about it.
pretty people don't need to be smart, apparently.
anyway. she's incredibly sweet, regardless. model
girls and her mother and sister are ruthless, cold-
hearted bitches and mona's this huge sweetheart.
don't know how she landed that, but she is. she
finds no fault in anyone and likes being friends
with as many people as possible. she doesn't think
she's better than anyone and she'd love to be friends.

so i play landry, what i wrote about her last post is under the spoiler

basically, landry's song is monkey wrench (lyrics) and she takes s**t from no one
the story/personality derived from the song is that landry was pretty much a doormat
and was totally used and stepped all over by her old friends and exes
so now she doesn't take s**t from nobody
she's hella independent and has a punk rock attitude
which is great

anyway
landry is hella badass and she's fantastic
though she can be a little insensitive at times and doesn't trust easily
so i can't imagine her having a ton of friends
i was planning on having her either play the bass or drums
so she could vent her teen angst through something
but not be like the most popular member of a band she may or may not be in
this could be an opening for potential friendships
and yeah

okay so though landry's attitude is super punk rock
not all her favorite bands are
i mean, a few are punk bands but not all
her favorites include the misfits, the clash, the sex pistols, the jam
blink-182, a day to remember, elvis costello, echo and the bunnymen,
foo fighters, nirvana, title fight, the story so far, halestorm, the white stripes,
joy division, rage against the machine, red hot chili peppers, radiohead,
semi precious weapons, the smiths, tears for fears, vampire weekend,
the wonder years, etc.

Hey everyone! The name's Euphie. I'm going to be playing Carmen. She isn't rich by any means. It's been her and her mom for as long as she can remember and her mother has terrible taste in men. For the past four years her mother's been with this big shot douche bag drug dealer. Just makes it too easy to get what she wants. Her mother spends all of her time at her boyfriends apartment. She supplies her daughter with any illegal substances she could possibly desire. Carmen gets high as often as humanly possible to ensure she doesn't feel any pain. She is spontaneous and irrational and inconsiderate. She renowned for making really bad decisions and making the ugliest faces in any picture she's in. She loves to have a good time and craves good company. She lost her virginity ******** up on god only knows what at fifteen. Does she remember it? Not really, she doesn't really want to either. She doesn't believe in love, just lust. Out of her own mouth, she has said that she is "emotionally damaged, but totally DTF!". Some call her reserved, I would call her fake. She wears this tough mask all day every day, but deep down she just wants someone to hold her. She usually gravitates towards other druggies, but she ironically sings in choir, has an amazing voice, and plays piano.

I feel I should write a little more on the Blake siblings.

Juno's song is Perfect Situation, by Weezer. I chose this because she's struggling with her loneliness. She's a huge fan of theirs (tied with Beck, Brand New, and Fall Out Boy - save rock and roll) and was in her own one-woman-band that she dubbed Purple Gravity, until she met other music enthusiasts to front (see also: literally anyone who wants to be part of this group ic). She has what you could call a selective punk rock attitude. She's strong with her friends, but not when she's alone. Her family is falling apart, she lost the relative she loved most, and she just wants to feel loved again. She's always had dreams of fanciful romance and isn't ashamed to admit it. Her interests include web shows (of the animated sort), playing music, and porn (she's unapologetic about it). Her fears are basically that Halloween myth that strangers will hide razors in your candy (except she took it to mean all of her food), so you can catch her tearing apart whatever she's about to eat to make sure it's safe. It's a habit she's carried for so long, it's hard to kick. Her mind is always elsewhere, so she's pretty distracted a lot of the time. You could be having a depthful conversation with her and out of nowhere she'll say, "I want a parakeet." It doesn't mean she wasn't listening, she just has too many thoughts to stay grounded for long. She's a bit naive when it comes to love, so she's never really been in a relationship. Juno's perfectly aware of when she's in love with someone (she thinks it's remarkably easy to fall in love), but couldn't figure out if you loved her unless you held a sign to her face and admitted it. Hell, even then she might not take you seriously.

Ajax relates to Blurry by Puddle of Mudd because his situation is exactly what the song is about. He just wants to see his son, Max, but the mother and her family are so aggressively against him, it's impossible. Ajax was always a bit of a handful, being reckless and overall irresponsible, and old habits die hard. He's doing his best to appeal to the courts, but his ex-girlfriend has more money and more influence. Sure, Max is probably better off with her, but he just wants to be allowed visits. His ex can hate him all she wants, but he wants to be their for his kid. Before Max (and still now, he has to fill his time with something), he liked to go out and have a good time with friends. Since he and Juno live a ways out of the city, he'd host what he calls "happy hours," which is basically a live show of him carving his latest sculpture (he's a chainsaw artist). He invites other artists he knows to create something in that block of time, and he's generally a good host. He also likes Harley Quinn (as opposed to traditional masculine heroes), and typically roots for the villain over the hero. His hope is to become a vet one day, because he loves animals. He's significantly more figured out than Juno, but he respects her privacy and doesn't pry (unless he's worried a guy like him is trying to go after her - in his words, "I know what these guys are like, June Bug, I'm one of them." wink . Ajax is an emotionally driven guy, even though he hates showing it. I suppose it's easier to say he's driven by anger. His version of sweet is significantly more crude and gruff than one would normally expect, but you know when he's done something nice for you. Instead of being typically friendly, he'll build you a bookshelf because he knows you enjoy reading.

Depending on how close he and Juno might be, Ajax could be wary of him.
I agree about Matias and Juno though. She needs an unbiased friend who can push her past all of her inhibitions. It's not that she doesn't have self-confidence, she has plenty of that. It's just that she's lonely, and paralyzed by it. Even in a crowd of her friends, she's struck with that feeling of being alone and cut off from the world. Matias seems like a good help in forgetting about all of that and moving forward.

Ajax and Nix could be best friends! He's more than welcome to join Ajax in his happy hour art fixes. They're both fans of using spray paint as a medium, so there's reason for them to have a collaborative project at any time. Ajax likes to tag the streets of the city when he stays out late. As for Naomi, he'd probably fail to understand why she kept going back to her a*****e boyfriend. I think she'd be more of a friend to Juno, however. I could see the girls being great friends. Juno's super interested in horoscopes and tarot cards, she just doesn't have a clue how to read them herself.

Ajax would like Casey enough. He's more Juno's friend, so it's not like they're enemies or anything. With Juno, I think these two could be like the leaders of their band; collaborative writing, hashing out cords, discussing covers and how they should approach them, etc. I see them as the best friends that display how totally possible it is to be of opposite genders, super close (like, she's in the middle of a redtube video and she's thinking "well that's not at all realistic" so she texts Casey like "I have a bit of a weird question" and he already knows which direction this conversation is headed in), and not have romance between them. What do you think?
MONA AND AJAX SHOULD BE THE WEIRDEST PAIR OF BEST FRIENDS. She sees the beauty in everyone, and he's this unbeautiful, crude, aggressively rough around the edges guy. He'd be the one trying to get her to eat, but not so much that he's pushy. It's like a passing thing, they go to lunch together and he asks, "Can I get you something today?" If she says no, he'll drop it, but he'll also buy an extra apple and leave it on the side of the tray. Just in case. It would go without saying that he cares.

i like these ideas a lot! i think casey and juno would defintely
be the more technical friends. casey needs a musical nerd
that he can talk straight tech to and have her understand what
he's talking about. and yes! casey's got no problem with getting
weird texts. happens all the time. don't get me started on the
set dressing of the 2 girls 1 cup video /head shake
and i agree! i think they'd be super cute friends for sure! and i
read that juno and naomi are cool, too. casey's dad and naomi's
dad have been best friends since high school, so they grew up
together. i can see them having a super cute little friend group
for sure c:

OMFG YES TIMES A THOUSAND TO THIS. mona needs someone
like that in her life, honestly. and it's not that she refuses to eat. she'll
eat enough to skate by, especially moreso when she's in front of people
who expect her to eat something. it's just very meager, if she does eat.
i think she'll appreciate his small gestures. she also finds ajax just incredibly
sweet in his own right and he's going to get lots of hugs for being a
sweetie. i don't know. something about their relationship will be
almost innocent, if that's the right word for it. he cares and she appreciates
it but it's deeper than that. i don't know. i love it and mona needs that kind
