Hanna moved through her cabin assessing all the new bunk members, being here the longest even though she wasn't the eldest made her the cabin counselor, therefore it was her job to look after the others, even if she didn't like it all that much. She had them all lined up and standing at the end of their beds staring straight ahead like she had ordered. Many were familiar faces, of course and only one or two were new, looking around nine or ten, it was obvious by their gruff smirks who their father was. She looked everyone over one more time with an assessing glare before speaking to them. "I'm not going to read you the riot act but here's the drill, do what I say when I say it and we'll have no trouble. Your cabin-mates come first, we're family now got it?" There was a unison of nod agreeing grunts, "Good, now do what you want and don't bug me. Dinner starts at 6:00 sharp don't be late or I'll make you eat off the floor."

At those last words the nodded before a few set off for the Arena to get a few rounds in while a couple stayed here to pummel each other here. Hanna on the other hand Left the cabin and headed toward the Strawberry patch, the smell there reminded her of her mother and it kept the homesickness at bay. Though she'd never admit it to anybody that she was, especially since she was used to being around tons of computers all in different stages of disrepair, as her mother was renowned computer technician in that field anyway. And of course she wanted to watch her soaps, she still hadn't found out what was going to happen to Andrea and Steve, and she was curious to know what would go down but with no TV for miles she was going to have to hope her mom made sure the Tivo wasn't messed with. She even liked her step-dad, he was cool, if not a little lazy and her siblings weren't so bad.

Trying to ignore the burning nostalgia in her chest she huffed angrily at her weakness she trudged forward finding fresh strawberries and plucking a couple from the vine not caring if they were 'clean' or not. Biting into one she savored the flavor as she looked up into the dusky blue sky. She should probably be getting back to the rest of the camp, and heading toward the mess hall, she needed to be there before the rest of her cabin was. She gave an aggravated sigh and hiked passed the archery field, the lake, the rock climbing and up the steps to the mess hall. Very few others where there yet, a few of the nymphs were placing dishes on the tables as campers from other cabins slowly starting trickling into the area.

Airi walked over to her cabin, the Hades cabin. The cabin had been finished since last year. She carried her Duffle bag into the cabin. She was probably the only one their and might be the first one. "So sad I'm the only one here." Airi said glumly. She wasn't emo or goth or sad that she was the only one. Airi was usually tired.

Airi went off to the Arena, since she loved to fight, and grabbed a bow and arrow. She took the correct stance and shot the arrow. It hit the target right in the center. When she was finished with archery she went off to Kendo. Her stomach started to growl. "Oh yeah I didn't have much food on the way." she sighed. She left the arena and started to the Mess Hall.

Airi finally got to the Mess Hall and sat down at the Hades table. She pulled her hood of her hoodie over her head. She waited for the announcements, if there were any announcements. Airi noticed many people were looking at her in astonishment seeing one of the child of Hades. She sighed.

Keona giggled as all the Satyr that were at camp danced around her near the forest. They were playing their little pipes, making the plants move and dance along with them. So far, she had been the only one in her cabin this year, but the little goat footed people were happy to have at least ONE person in-tune to nature. She laughed more as a few blades of grass grew and tickled her ankles, stepping away from them, just as a few tree nymphs came out. They looked like normal humans, aside from the pointed ears and slightly green toned skin. Not to mention they were dressed in what ever they were. If it was a brush nymph, she would have a dress made of the brush, and tree would have bark, and so on and on and on. Keona grinned at one little girl with daisies in her hair. She had made that daisy brush grow there one of her first years at camp, and she had turned out to be a lovely little nymph, much like a little sister to her. "Hello Tess." Keona grinned, the little daisy girl blushed a brilliant green and yellow color before giggling and retreating back into her tree.

"Oh! Keona! Everyone is going to mess hall! Mr D will not be pleased if you are late!" A blond and young Satyr informed her. Keona just laughed.
"When is that guy EVER pleased? He's here on punishment, and he hates kids! Plus he can't have his wine so...." Keona shrugged, then began to waltz off to the mess hall. But before that, she was sure to go back to her cabin and put on her orange 'Camp Half-Blood' Shirt. It was a rule anyways, to always be in dress code. If not, Mr D might try to strangle you with Grape Vines or something.

Her blond hair hung to the middle of her back, and bangles covered her arms. Most of the students were talking about what they were going to train with this year, Keona on the other hand had no interest. Demeter was a peaceful goddess, only fighting in the war with the titans long long long ago in the beginning of time. She didn't have too many kids because she was too busy hovering over Persephone. Lucky for Keona, she had gotten the hots for some doctor recently and ended up with her. There were a few more Demeter kids around, she was sure, but they were probably unclaimed since their mother was too busy with the favorite daughter. Instead of Learning too much about fighting, Keona decided it was better for her to learn more about healing. There were a few books in big house, and she talked Mr D into lending them to her, in exchange for her to leave him the hell alone of course. At least last year there had been two older Demeter kids, but they were all trained and ready to go out into the world, leaving Keona all on her own. But at least she had the Nymphs and Satyrs to get along with.

Just because I'm Apollo's daughter, doesn't mean that I'm anything special. I'm just...me
"Don't be shocked that people die, be surprised your still alive"

Amelia Carson Marrone stood in the arena, her bow pulled tight, pulled back by her index finger as she aimed. Her eyes closed a she took in a deep breath, and released. She didn't need to open her eyes to know that the arrow had hit her target, the bright red circle with a white one surrounding it. It always hit, making her feel as if she was in some fantasy world like Narnia with Susan's bow and arrows that always hit whatever she needed them to hit. Yet, she half-expected them to miss some of the time. Actually, she had taken to trying specifically to get her arrows not to hit last year. She had tried everything from moving far away to shooting straight up. 'Yet they always go exactly where I want them to,' she thought with a slight frown as her arrow as removed and she took another one out. Her hand steadied itself as she drew the bow up, only to stop when a particularly annoying nymph came up to her. This nymph was one that she had, had to tolerate since she had first arrived here and camp three years ago, and it seemed like she was never going to get rid of her.

"Miss! Dinner is almost ready. You'll be in a lot of trouble if you don't get there in time."

Mia growled slightly as she let her arm drop, putting the arrow into one of the holders. "If I'm in trouble, then I'm in trouble," she muttered, as she turned, letting the nymph drag her towards the hall. "It's just the way life goes." Like finding out that you're half a god. Apollo to be exact. He had found interest in her mother many years ago, and well, she was born. This led her to coming here, and training, and all that fun stuff. To put it into simpler terms, Mia wasn't exactly on good terms with her biological father...or her step father at the moment. Her mother was the only one that she slightly trusted out of her family, though after finding out that her biological father was a god after so many years of thinking that Mr. Doesn't Do s**t was her father, Mia had lost a lot of faith in her mother, faith that was still trying to be won back. 'Just keep on trying Mom,' she thought as she entered the hall, seeing that very few had even appeared quite yet. Just her and a few of the other older campers.

Odette Williams

User Image

The bubbling of a steam pervaded her ears. Odette shifted herself in an attempt to be comfortable running a hand through her soft red hair as she did so. Something lyrical stirred in the water, Nymphs ducked in and out of the water greeting the daughter of discord as they did so. Odette would have liked there song better if they were sirens. She found those horrible creatures fascinating. Luring sailors to watery graves. Just thinking about it sent chills down her spine. Odette sat up looking for her half brother Asher. He was no where in sight. He had drove all the way out here in his fancy truck and then got off and said he was going to piss or something of that sort. Odette tried to play the role of a loving sister and wait for him and then she got bored and wandered off into the greenery surrounding her. She was sure that she missed some meeting regarding bunks but she didn't care. She'd sleep wherever she pleased. Anybody that dared to say anything would have to deal with her magic.

Odette looked up into the clouds and saw one murky Grey cloud hovering above her. She smiled up knowing that her mother was keeping an eye on her. An apple fell from the cloud reminding Odette how her mother had a hand in starting the Trojan war. "Love you too Mommy." Odette said with pursed lips as the cloud dispersed leaving her alone once more. Being the daughter of the goddess of chaos wasn't bad at all. She got her mother's natural talent for causing mischief and a few magical abilities as well. With a brush of her fingers she caused the water in the stream to grow turbulent and unruly. This upset the nymphs whom all swam down streams cursing Odette's name along the way.

Might as well find Asher now. She spotted his ford f-150 and approached it. She pouted upon seeing it empty and barren. "This is pointless." She growled under her breath letting out a short lived sigh gently kicking the tire before she turned toward the Colosseum. That place is where people fought. Fighting could get chaotic. A smile popped up on Odette's face as she approached the Colosseum unbuttoning her cardigan as she approached. To her disappointment no one was there. Odette went to the seats and plopped herself down crossing her legs as she did so. It was then that Asher showed up out of no where. She could recognize his strong frame from a mile away. She waved gesturing for him to come closer.

Kent Thorn and Laci Graves
_______________________________
( Aphrodite and Apollo )

Once again... Kent was the only guy in the Aphrodite cabin. That was probably going to, once again, make him seem like a totally pansy. Usually, a guy would realize he was gonna be in a cabin with a bunch of hot chicks and be excited. Not when all those hot chicks happened to be your half sisters. Instantly, the boy signed up for as many combat training sessions as possible, hating that fact that he was thought to be just a 'pretty' boy. Now, he had nothing against gay people or anything, in fact he had a good friend back home that was a hardcore scary dyke lesbian, but damn it, he wasn't one of them!

But Kent also liked to try to turn his weakness (being a pretty boy) into a strength. Often, his opponent would think he was a weakling and be surprised went Kent opened up a can on his/her a**. Seriously, his mom fell for his dad because he was strong, hell he had been a champion boxer! So of course Kent was going to be good at combat! Hopefully, this year he would be able to see through all him training and not get distracted. Usually, some girl would fall head over heels for him. Since he can feel whatever someone else is feeling, he ended falling for them too, and later realizing those were not his feelings at all. He'd lost many a booty call that way.

Soon, Kent had on his Orange Camp shirt and was jogging over to the Mess Hall. He'd delt with Mr D, the camp director, 's crap last year and he wasn't in the mood to deal with it again. His silky brown locks went well with his perfectly golden skin, and his silver eyes scanned around to make sure no one was looking at him. Ah great, nymphs.... Hopefully, one didn't have a Satyr as a boyfriend. His first year he'd been head butted by one and learned to stay clear of them. Plus, green blush tones kinda freaked him out. That was another problem he had.... Jealous boyfriends....

--------

"Daaaad...." Laci whined, "why'd you have to make it soooo hot today?" She grumbled. Must of meant he was paying close attention to her mom again, and flying a little to close to the surface. Most Demi gods had the issue of their parents never being around. Laci on the other hand.... Apollo was smitten with her mom. Though he wasn't over everyday, he was over often enough, radiating all his godly on her and her mother. Enough to where you had a perfect deep tan in the winter? People at school thought she went to tanning salons, and she let them believe it. What was she supposed to do, say 'oh no, my dad, the sun god, was over and my mom looked extra pretty so he glowed extra bright from being happy...'

Of course, when came to kids.... He wasn't allowed to play favorites, so Laci just stayed out of his way and let her mom and dad be happy. Really, she kinda had the thought in back of her mind that when he wasn't with them, he was with one of the other mortal ladies he'd shagged. But whatever. He was a god, she was used to it, what can you do?

"Ugh, Archery... Of course." Laci rolled her eyes when she saw her schedule. Why the Apollo kids had to take it was beyond her. They were all naturally gifted, so why waste time practicing? She sighed, and set her schedule down on her bed. She heard some kids talking about announcements and decided to go ahead and head over there. It was actually her first year here, so she didn't want to miss out on any of the rules and what not.

Collin slumped over a pile of dirt just on the left side of the cabin watching as he accelerated the growth of a grapevine, watching as the vine started its crawl up the side of the building adding to other vines that already covered the cabin walls. As the plant grew over 5 ft and clung to th wall safely, he pulled back his powers and stood back and away from the wall. All the others were off having a bit of fun elsewhere he was sure, he shared his cabin with about four others, and relatively young, none of them had even been on their first quest yet. He'd gotten his after only three years after first being brought here, and he'd taken to other campers with him, Hanna, a crazy bad@ss chick and Jack, an older boy that wasn't at the camp anymore. It had been fun it wasn't his cup of tea, he'd had to go take the head the Chimera, and that was no easy task and he had a few good scars to prove it.

With a sigh he went back into his cabin and grabbed his orange camp shirt and slipped in on over his white wife-beater and made for a slow walk toward the mess hall where he knew he'd see his friends, if they had lived through the school year. He passed the Ares cabin and noticed the door swung wide open to reveal two brutal looking kids beating the crap out of each other while some heavy metal band screamed through the walls. Sure he liked his music loud but not like that, he wondered if their ears would bleed out from the noise or if maybe from some miracle it never effected them. As he moved passed the cabins he looked passed them to his left and saw a few nymphs flitting through the trees giggling, that would have looked like fun if it weren't energy consuming, Collin was known for being on the lazy side, it never bothered him though.

He grinned as a coupled waved at him and walked on toward the mess hall, he came to the stream and walked over the bridge and up the steps up to the dining area. He wondered what the opening announcements would be like as, Mr. D a.k.a. Dionysus a.k.a. his dad, was such a jerk about being here. His mom had always told him that's where he got his attitude from but Collin would just shrug it off, he didn't care. Though he did wonder how his mom could've fallen for the guy long enough to get knocked up if he were really as annoying as she claimed. Once he got all the way up on the hill he noticed the fiery red hair attached to the busty girl and grinned heading over to the Ares cabin counselor, "Hey how ya been fire-crotch?" she hated the nickname but at this point she just gave up trying to make him stop. He gave Hanna a cheeky grin and put an arm around her shoulder.

Mr D was not having a good day. Not at all. Now, not only was he having to deal with the little brats who were around all year long, he was going to have to deal with the brats who would join them in the summer! Twenty more years. Twenty more years. He would remind himself. Running the camp was his punishment for getting a little too friendly with a nymph in Olympus that his dad had said off limits. But she was so pretty~

"You, Krista..." He said, pointing to the blond girl sitting at the Demeter table, waiting for the rest of the camp members to hurry up and get into the mess hall so he could give his stupid welcoming speech and be done with it.

"Uh, My name is Keona...." The blond girl said with a lifted eyebrow.

"Right, whatever. Where are all the campers? Did they die? That would be good, less people to bother me." He nodded

"Um... No, no one has died over the summer, at least not that I know of. I think they're just taking their time to get here... There are lots of people wandering outside..."

"UGH! I have a poker game in an hour! If they don't hurry up so we can get this over with..." he grumbled more to himself and sat at the head table, his arms crossed and frown in his face

Daisy made her way from her cabin to the mess hall. She particularly didn't like the outdoors and used up most of her free time in her cabin. She was a daughter of Aphrodite. She loved to spend her time applying and re-applying her makeup. Because she was always becoming bored, her makeup kept running. She made a note to buy some more water-proof mascara.

She stepped out of her cabin. She wondered where everyone else was, though she knew she saw her half-brother, Kent around the camp somewhere. Daisy ran her fingers through her hair once more and started to walk to mess hall. It's been her second year at camp Half-Blood, she's still not really used to the place. Daisy knows she should stay at this camp to keep her safe and learn to defend herself. Daisy is always so lazy. She hates to work, but she knows she has to. Sometimes, she wishes she never was born a demi-god.

She couldn't believe that her father let her go to this place. She never, ever, ever and never will, like this place. Though she's at the camp against her will. Back home, she lived like a princess. Her father would give her anything she wanted, he loved her so much. But she didn't think he loved her so much to send her to a "dump". The only reason she liked to come was because she got to see her half-siblings, but she didn't like all of them.

Daisy walked up to her cabin's table and noticed Kent. She smiled. He was pretty cute, she would date him; the only problem was that he was related to her. But she stayed friendly, as family. She sat down on the bench, "Hey Kent. How's your school year been?" she asked him. Daisy hadn't really seen anyone else from her cabin, so she just started up a conversation with him. But he seemed a little distracted.

Kent looked up and grinned at the lovely girl in front of him. "Hey Daisy." He said in a sort of whimsical voice, happy to have someone to talk to. Even if his sister was his polar opposite, he enjoyed her company. No one understood a beautiful person's pain like another beautiful person. "Broke some hearts, failed some classes." Kent shrugged. "Same ole same ole. Though, I did come back for awhile when a monster attacked me while picking up my little half sister from kindergarten. No beuno. It freaked me out so much, Circee isn't a demi-goddess, but she can kind a see through the mist. Freaked her out to no end. I felt so bad, I kinda ran away and ended up here. But my mom called and talked me into coming back"

He sighed, "Other than that, it was mostly boring. But...." He grinned, his guilty pleasure coming out, "I got about a dozen new gooey romance novels to read over the summer. I'll let you borrow some if you like~" He said this in a whisper. No one but the Aphrodite cabin even knew about Kent's wild obsession with hot gooey steamy romance novels. As much as he liked to fight it, the boy was still half love god. He enjoyed a good chick flick (in private where no one could see his tears) and of course there where the oh so passionate Soap Operas. The first summer had been killer with out them, but he quickly learned that those books were a good substitute. "I hope this summer is more exciting than last summer. Only one person went a Quest, and they didn't chose me to go. I want to go one so bad....." He said with a sigh.

Daisy nodded, listening to Kent's story. "Gah. I failed all of my classes. And I don't think it was my Dyslexia or ADHD." Daisy giggled. She wasn't the smartest girl around, but at least she has some common sense. "We can never resist love, can we. I had like a boyfriend a week. Now not literally. But I just love making girls jealous. I don't really know why..." Daisy trailed off in thought.

After several seconds, she came back to reality. "Oh. Sorry. She laughed. "Good books, eh? I'd rather not. I hate reading books. There are two reasons Daisy doesn't like reading. 1. Because of her Dyslexia 2. She just doesn't like to read. Daisy looked around mess hall for other people she might recognize from last year, but she didn't have too much luck.

She looked back at Kent, "I've never been on a quest either. Though I am new. I don't think I'm even ready for a quest if one hit me in my face!" It was true that Daisy wasn't ready. It's only been her second year. But miracles do happen, then again, she never really pulled her weight around the camp.

Throw it away, Forget yesterday.
We'll make the great escape.
We won't hear a word they say.

Angela was, typically, at the archery fields. It was her game. It was her love. Gossiping was also her love but weapon-wise. It was her bow and arrows. Being a child of Hermes, the messenger God, she loves to gossip. She also loves to be at camp. There's only one thing about fighting that Angela doesn't like, killing. That's a weakness of hers. She feels as though nothing should lose its life. Though she might make exceptions...like a really, really evil person...or spiders.

Angela had noticed how everyone was leaving and the fields were becoming less populated. After five minutes of wondering why people were leaving, she had finally understood why. She laughed at herself. Angela put her bow and arrow down to her side. She started to walk towards her cabin to put away her beloved bow and arrows. She climbed up the stairs quickly and put it on top of her belongings. She knew it wasn't too safe to put it where it was... But everyone knew not to mess with her. Though Angela is a nice girl, you touch the bow, you die. Besides, she hadn't seen too many of her half-siblings yet.

Angela walked out of her cabin and made her way to mess hall. She looked for her table and quietly sat down. She felt so alone. There was nobody sitting at the Hermes table.

Hanna stood near an empty table when Collin walked up to her, draping an arm over her shoulder, "Does stupidity naturally fall out of you mouth or do you want to get the crap kick out of you?" She asked in a dangerously calm voice. She hated that d@mn nickname, but she didn't get as p!ssed as she used to. . . . outwardly at least. She noticed that more and more of the campers trickled into the mess hall area and the Ares kids were, more or less the first ones there as a table where the others where she didn't know. Other cabins where mostly there as well; Demeter, Apollo, Dionysus, Athena, Hephaestus, Hades, and the fullest cabin of them all, with three large tables and only one seated at a table. The only reason The Hermes cabin was so full was because when new arrivals came in not all of them knew who their godly parent was or their parent didn't even have a cabin as they where only a minor god.

The Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades cabins were usually empty after the pact the big three had made after WWII to try and not make kids, as they were always the most powerful and the more likely to be attacked by monsters on a regular basis. Hanna was glad she didn't have to deal with that, sure she was more than strong enough to take care of herself when she needed but she was rarely attacked when she left the camp to visit her home for a few months out of the year, she was lucky that, that was the case or it was likely she'd have to stay with the permanent year-rounders that stayed here. That would really suck, as much as she liked it here she couldn't stay here forever, she'd feel way to trapped.

With a sigh she looked around and her eyes landed on the only boy sitting at the Aphrodite table and her eyes narrowed, she'd seen him before around camp last summer, but she'd never really noticed him then. He was good looking, more than good looking really, she'd have to be blind and stupid not to notice but for some reason, it really p!ssed her off. So much so that she just wanted to march over there and punch him square in the nose just so she could ruin that perfect face of his. But not wanting to cause trouble on the first official day of Camp Half Blood she could only glare at him menacing and hope that she could magically make him burst into flame. . . . maybe that was a bit much but make something bad happen to him none the less.
