Realizing the by passing the house, she probably looked like a pretty little stalker. Great. . that's all I need! She hopped off her bike once she got fully past Vince's house and sighed. Her whole 'play it cool' and 'hiding her feelings' was NOT working at all. Alice squated down next to her bike and pulled a hand through her long wavy hair. "Damn bike!" She grumbled as the wheel moved slowly, itching the whole bike forward. She tried fixing the small red-light in the front which was pointless but she was just trying to waste time since she didn't want to head back home. Alli cursed to herself slightly and fiddled with the small screw at the top, trying to see if she could loosen or something. Instead of doing that, the bike's wheel suddenly fell along with the screw. Great. . just what I need! Really? Did her life really have to be like an ugly sitcom? Alice grabbed the screw and the wheel, watching as he bike slowly collasped onto the ground. Oh god! She cursed herself over and over again for acting like an idiot. She decided to call her grandpa to come and get her. Her hands worked like daredevils to call her grandfather and once she reached him, Alli smiled. "Hey Gramps, could you please come and get me. My bike broke. . don't ask, and I don't think i can carry it all the way down the street to our house. . I was just going for a ride when I tried to check the red-light out but instead of trying to fix it, my wheel fell off. . i'm not in front of the Maretti's house but I'm pretty darn close. Yes, of course. Love you too, bye."

Atleast she had her butler, right? She had always called her butler grandpa ever since she was younger. He was the only family she had. Alice sat down on the grass and pulled her legs up to her chest. She would have to wait a while for her grandpa to show up, so she made herself comfortable and began messing around with her ipod. Settling with one song and leaning back on her elbows, staring up at the blue skies. It reflected off of her greenish-brownish eyes slightly and it made her squint away. Ever since Alice became popular, boys were all over her. They asked to hold her books they begged to sit next to her in each of her classes but yet. . she didn't care at all. Most girls would be pleased for boys to flirt with them, especially the desperate ones. . but she hated it. Because there one of them didn't do that, and that was the one she liked. Not because he didn't flirt with her but because he never even looked at her. She was unnoticed by one person. . and it upset her the most. Idea! Moving on is a great option! She grumbled under her breath and rolled over onto her stomach, messing around with her cellphone to text a couple of her friend's. It turned out most of the kids in her grade were going. The kid who was hosting the party was going to be a saint if he had booze. Alice never drank, she just knew that most of her friend's would and they would most likely offer her some but like everytime, she would deny it.

Parties weren't her favorite thing, she just went because she thought it would be a good experience. . but yet, everytime she was disappionted. Clouds rolled aimlessly across the sky and Alice grew bored. She perked up at that sound of people talking. her head turned towards people standing in the doorway of the house she had road by so many times before. She looked to the girl who seemed to have been beaten up or something. I think I've been too much of a stalker so far today. . walking over and asking if she's ok wouldn't be the greatest idea. So, what was left to do? Just sit under the tree and stare off into space until her grandfather showed up? Boring. . Alice hummed to the song and tucked her arms behind her head with a loud sigh.

                                                ((OutOfCrackers::Ehh. .))

tab It was still dark when the dark haired girl woke up to the almost violent sounding alarm. It was a sickening sound. It was a high pitched noise that could wake up a person in three or four rooms away. Normally, it was just a hassle to her 'parents', actually had to get up and drive her to the airport so she could go back to New York City. Stretching she groaned and her hand thudded against her pale colored desk while it was trying to find the source of the annoying buzzing noise. Did she want to get up as early as she was? No... no not really. Did she have a choice? No. Groaning she finally managed to hit the button, music now playing on the radio alarm clock. "Ugh..." She groaned and slid her hands back under the covers, relaxing in her bed before slowly sitting up and rubbing her eyes, letting out a loud yawn. "It's so.... early..." She moaned, smacking her cheek lightly to try and wake herself up more.

tab Shortly after the music started in her room and the loud buzzing stopped, she heard shuffling outside of her door. "Hey darlin', you up in there?" Her 'mother' called in her think southern accent. "Yeah, I'm up. Gettin' ready to go." The brunette called back loudly over her music so the woman could hear her. "Alrigh' doll. You got 'bout.... half an hour. Frank's up too, so I'd grab the bathroom while you can." Raising an eyebrow the girl immediately threw herself out of her bed and lunged at her door. She was trying incredibly hard to open the door before she even realized that the door was still locked. "Ahhh!" She yelled and unlocked it. She heard hurried feet; the race was on. The girls foster father took forever in the bathroom and she was incredibly annoyed at that. "I will win!" She called as soon as she flung her door open. It was also a game for the two, seeing who could reach the bathroom first.

tab Luckily, she reached the bathroom right before him and stood in the doorway triumphantly when he skidded around the corner. "Hehe. I win!" "Oh come on Bam, lemme go to the bathroom." The middle aged man practically whined and she shook her head. "Oh no. You can use the half bathroom down stairs." She whined and he pouted again. "I don't like that one though..." He whined and the girl rolled her eyes and shut the bathroom door behind her. Of course she wasn't going to let him use the only bathroom in the house with a shower. Plus, she was fifteen, and she liked getting her way once in a while. Listening he heard Frank and Marci downstairs laughing about the previous events and it made her smile. It was nice being around such happy people. "Ehhhhh..." She sighed when she realized that she had left all of her things in her bedroom.

tab This girl who was now sneaking back into her room to get her shampoo and other hygienic things was named Letizia Bambi Giordano. She was fifteen years old and she lived in Texas with her foster family. Yes, she had a foster family. Her 'mother' and 'father' were Marci and Frank DeRosa. This teen was on her way home to see her mother and siblings. She hadn't seen them in what felt like forever, and finally, she was told that she was able to go see them and immediately she used some of the money that she had saved up over the years. Of course her foster parents were worried about her mental and physical health. Letizia, err.... Bambi wasn't half as worried about her health as they were. All she wanted was to see her mother and siblings. She missed all of her family dearly, well, except her father. That man was completely dead to her.

tab After sneaking backing into the bathroom and taking a shower she dried and straightened her hair before gathering up her things and putting them into a duffel bag so she had everything with us that was needed for the move there. Shaking her head she took a deep breath she sighed and bit her lower lip, taking a deep breath and letting it out before changing into her clothes and started down the stairs happily. "I'm ready!" She said happily, looking over at her 'parents' and sighed lightly and bit her lower lip, sighing softly. She was about to see her family. Frank smirked and watched her with amusement and nodded, letting Bambi drag him out of the house and to the car. She dragged both of them to the car. On the ride to the plane station she watched the blurry scenery pass her by. It was light enough out now so that she could actually see out of the windows. Of course she looked back at her luggage once in a while, as if she was trying to wrap it around her head that she was actually going home.

tab Soon enough Bambi was saying goodbye to Frank and Marci. "I'll be fine." She said with amusement in her light southern accent. It was amusing how upset the people were that she was actually going home. "I'll be fine." She giggled softly and tilted her head to the side, biting her lip and tilting her head to the side. It made her upset that they were so worried. She could feel it. Immediately their faces changed as soon as they noticed how upset she was getting. "You have fun now." Marci said with a smile and Bambi nodded. "I'll miss you." She said happily and gave them big hugs before running over to the plane. After taking care of her luggage, she boarded the plane and was off, soon in New York City.

tab It wasn't long before she spotted her house from the taxi she was riding in. Immediately her nerves started acting up and she was ready to run back to Texas. Shaking her head she whined lightly and the driver gave her a look as he pulled over to the curb. "Thanks for the ride." She said cheerily, flashing him a smile and winked lightly. She could feel the males mood lighten up and he offered to help her with her bags. Bambi allowed him to help her but she didn't dare go inside of the house. Instead she left it on the porch and looked around. She couldn't face her family yet. Not after being gone for so long. So, she decided to take a walk. Humming White Balloons by Sick Puppies, the girl headed toward the park that was a couple of blocks away from her home. It was her favorite place when she was younger. the swings made her feel like she could touch the sky.

tab Biting her lower lip she sighed and turned into the park and instantly, she froze. There were two people playing on the basketball court. Bambi knew who they were immediately. Her younger brother and one of her older ones were there. Marco and Jacee. Yes, even now she knew her twin brothers apart. Clearing her throat, she walked over shyly, knowing she was probably seen before and it was no use running and hiding because she was probably going to be chased by them. "Hey... mind if I play too?" Bambi asked cutely, smiling softly at them, hoping it hadn't been too long and that they remembered her too.

It's Better To Love And Lost
Than To Have Never Loved
At All. . .

It was safe to say that Roxi had struck a nerve somewhere inside Tony, her sudden demanding him to take her places and do things for her had obviously done it, who does she think she is, he thought angrily as he walked stormed out of the small room where he had just given him a piece of his mind. He knew that he had certainly upset her but he really didn't give a rats, not only was he upset about the whole Roxi and her 'I need to go home to save mommy' routine, but he was upset that his time with the Maretti twins, Sam mainly, had been so rudely interupted, but not only that. . .they saw him in an undesirable state, something he wished hadn't happened. Somewhere between his walk back to Sam and Sophie's table he heard Roxi shouting at him, big surprise. At the sound of her calling he didn't turn around to face her but gritted his teeth furiously, she didn't have a choice! He boomed inside his head, "She always had a choice." He hissed through his teeth, mainly to himself "How hard is it to leave the b*****d?" Tony sneered once more but again mainly to himself. Feeling as though he probably shouldn't look back, he fell to temptation and turned around to see Roxi crying, which did make him feel bad but he was far to angry to go and apologize, not to mention proud that he had exercised his authority for once. Then her finger went up in the air and he rolled his eyes at her "It's just a finger." Tony retorted flatly then turned on his heel and walked back to the kitchen to retieve the two cokes that his deer, 'enemy' friends had ordered.

Lucky for him, Sam and Sophie were a few of the only people who could make all of Tony's anger and frustration disappear in a matter of seconds. . .especially Sam. Ever since he had admitted to himself that he was hopelessly in love with her, the mere presence of Samantha Maretti brought a smile to the boys face. With ease Tony walked back out into the dining room and over to Sam and Sophie's table where he served them their drinks and proceeded to take their orders and gave them to one of the chef's in the kitchen and walked back once again to rejoin them. Wanting more than anything just to sit down and converse Tony glanced around to make sure that no one was either watching, or that there were no needy customers. A few minutes couldn't hurt, he thought, but he didn't exactly want to be rude and just pull up a seat without asking first. . .however, he'd probably feel stupid for asking such a dumb question because he figured their answer would be a firm 'yes' with a hint of 'duh!' in there somewhere. "I'M GOING ON MY BREAK!!!" Tony shouted loudly so someone could hear and take note of what was going on. Somewhere off in the distance he heard a faint 'okay.' With that Tony smiled "You don't mind if I join you ladies?" He asked playfully pulling up a chair and taking a seat at the table. "Oh, sorry about that whole Roxi thing. . . .I'm usually not like that, but GOD! SO. . . .UGH!!" He explained sounding annoyed and exhasperated at the 'God' part. "But anyway, how is that whole home schooling thing going?" Tony asked curiously knowing that he probably couldn't handle the whole home schooling thing, since he was a people person and hated being alone. Thanks to that I can't use school as a save haven to hang with them. . .

Marco wasn't exactly sure what to expect from Jacee, he figured that his younger brother could probably make the shot, but he wasn't for sure. He watched as Jace focused on the target, which was the rim above Mark's head, shoot it already, Marco thought impatiently as his younger brother assumed the position and then made his shot. The basketball soared through the air as his brother declaired the whole 'he shoot's, then the whole wait for it. . .wait for it, and just like that the basketball went directly through the hoop and bounced on the pavement once it made contact. "Impressive." Marco said proud of his younger brother, while he had been tempted to jump up and smack the ball away, he wasn't feeling THAT ornery today, besides his head was still pounding from the hangover, and a wild jump into the air certainly wouldn't have done him any favors in that department. Chasing after the now rolling ball Marco wrapped his hands around the lumpy surface of the ball and walked back to his younger brother while dribbling the ball on the concrete slab as he did so. Maybe we'll go grab some lunch after this Marco thought on a random tangent knowing that he wasn't hungry, but Jacee probably would be within an hour or so. "After this you wanna grab a bite?" Marco asked, now standing a few feet away from Jace. "Tony could get us some free food." He said making it sound more tantilizing than he had before.

Coming back to the impending basketball game Marco looked over at Jace "I'll check it." He said, being his big brother self and giving his younber brother the chance to score some points before Marco got his hands on the ball, although Jacee was now more of a challenge than he used to be, back in the day Tony and Mark could run circles around little Jace, but now that wasn't so easy. . .which made things more fun. Marco stood a few feet away from Jacee, now facing him, then bounced the ball in Jacee's direction, but something caught him off guard, hopefully Jace wouldn't bounce the ball back just yet because Marco certainly would have missed it. Someone was approaching them, it was a girl with long brown hair and looked horribly familiar. Is that. . .he pondered curiously as she came closer and closer, can't be, Marco thought in disbelief as the features of her face became clearer and clearer, it is! He thought completely stunned, then she spoke to them, asking if she could play. Now it was all so clear, it was his long lost sister, Bambi. Why she acquired that nickname, he didn't really know but he'd been calling her that for years along with everyone else. "Bambi?" Marco asked cautiously, "What are you doing here?" He asked sounding more excited as he approached his sister and pulled her into a tight embrace. "It's been so long, God you've changed." He said backing away from her slowly noticing how tall she had gotten and how puberty had changed her over the few years they were all seperated.

яoxy held her breath, looking up to two of her families enemies. Breath deep, daddy won't ever know I was hear..., she thought. Roxy swallowed loudly and looked at the two of them, father and son. "Well, I kind of... broke my arm. And then I fell on it. Long story about how it got broken. Just please, can I come in?"

Roxy sighed as she walked in with out an invitation. She looked around in the huge house, defiantly huger then her own. "Damn, you guys live large. How'd you get all the-" Then she remembered, duh! Why do you think her family hates them so much? Roxy held her breath and looked at her arm. "Do we have any idea how to care to this?" Then she turned, her arm cracked in its place and Roxy went to the floor sobbing.

"Damn it", she got up slowly. Then looked at Vinnie. "Okay, this might seem random and all. But by any chance are you going to the party at Marie Ann's tonight?" Roxy smiled sheepishly and blushed. Wow, who knew that someone in so much pain as Roxy right now, would care to get a date at that moment.

[indent]"Autumn looked up from the hood of the car, she a bit pissed off but she needed to let it go, it was her fault anyways. Taking a deep breath, and letting it out, she laughed, "Yeahh, just a baby scratch, nothing big, really." Mmm. . . Sarcasm. . But at her eyes looked back her engine, she heard what was was saying, shutting down the hood of the car, her which her arm hand been leaning on, why did she had a feeling that she felt such pity, biting the inside of her cheek, Autumn had let out a fusterating sigh, "Listen here, Cowboy, I don't need your pity; I can pay for this myself and I already have my mechanic on his way to pick her up." Grinding her teeth, she had pushed herself off the car and walked over to the open window of the drivers side, pushing a button and letting the trunk open.

[indent]Her foot stayed still on the board to keep it from rolling away, biting on her lip, she looked at the guy, she had now noticed that he wasn't that bad looking, noticing that her eyes kept on him for longer than she should have, quickly looking on the ground, Autumn clenched her fist. . .Why. . .
Autumn had half smiled towards the guy, Well. . . Thank you stomach. . . now this guy's going insist on taking me to eat. . .

[indent]Autumn half smiled as she told her that she needed to stop smoking. . . "Well. . .The smoking sure, I'll stop. . . but. . ." Autumn held her stomach with her free hand, she needed it to stop growling. . . "Okay. . . this is the first AND last time anyone is taking me out to lunch. . ." Autumn let out a frustrating chuckle, mentioning about the boost "Well, Ya know. . . not my fault I', so curious. . . than again. . . curiosity killed the cat, right?" Letting out a scoff, her eyes had looked over and noticed a car coming, of course it was Joey. Waving slightly, she looked over to the guy that was extending out his hand and introducing himself,Syn. . . "Pleasure. . ." Her hand grabbed his hand softly, she had a feeling if she had put anymore pressure on her bad hand she would have maybe sprained it. "Name's Autumn Rosabella Giordano--But call me Autumn or Rosie. . . " Her friend Joey had came out of the car from the passenger side and went directly to the car, Autumn had rolled her eyes let out a chuckle, quickly grabbing her plaid shirt before anyone had noticed any more bruises that had been left on her body. Her eyes looked over to Syn. . . "Shall we?"

Chase took a step forward before hearing the voice of Twaney once again, her words were shakey and hard to make out but he could understand her, he turned towards her as he stood looking down on the steep hill that was pushing up onto the sidewalk as the sea of green grass dance around him. He sighed, "Keep the Bandanna...."
He said clearly to the woman as he turned his back once more towards her.

He poached himself trying to avoid the answer of her next question, it sounded like a date, something he was looking for but with someone else. He had no idea how to approach the topic, he was stumped, if only an angel could swoop down and take him away or he could just vanish these were the things he wished for. It wasn't that the woman wasn't attractive or anything it was just he wasn't sure how far her intentions were with him, also if she would be over eighteen in the slightest bit that could also cause some problem.

Chase could feel the collar of his neck tighten as he drummed on his hands he didn't want to hurt the poor thing as far as much as she already was. Chase turned his head to take a glance back at the woman once more, "I'm sorry, I can't say I'm kindhearted anymore, if faith brings us back, be prepared is all I can announce for now..."
Chase said as he backed away slowly, as his pace hastened as he jogged back to the street, the time was afternoon now, he'd spent all that time with that woman didn't even get her name as well. But that was nothing he had a sparring tournament in a only an hour or so, then had plans on the rest of the day to learn more about the family he was hired by to stand as some kind of guard or something. Hes thoughts were shooting around he it wasn't healthy to do before a Martial arts tournament. As he approached his Dojo he walked in and began to suit up. Chase then met up with his master who told him who he'd be fighting ,it was one of most experienced members, skill is something Chase had but experience was lacking, he'd like to think it would turn out to be a good match... But he know he was most likely going to get the crap kicked out of him.

He walked into the ring, as they met in the middle to bow, he smiled as they backed away from each other, the room was filled with a crowd yet silent, this was an important occasion the rules of the match were simple it was like boxing, whoever was on the ground for ten seconds or more would loose a point, any style of martial arts was allowed and were greatly welcomed. Chase had took a glance over this guys statistics, he was a Third degree black belt in three different styles, Jujitsu, Tae Kwon Do, and Karate, meaning he'd go for grapples, tosses, and kicks. Chase on the other hand was also a third degree in the two out of four different martial arts he knew. Which were Akihito, and Wu Shu Kung Fu, the other two of his skills were Muay Thai, and Thai Chi. Most of his attacks were counters and mainly with the joints of his body, his movement was like water. But his opponent was no push over he knew everything about Chase, as they came in close Chase paced himself, with a swift movement of his opponent he was on the ground, WHAT!? What just hit him?! As he took a glance back up his right leg was prepped up he gasped his movements were so fast and his leg work was nothing to mess with, including power this was the hardest match of Chase's life so far. The left side of his face hurt, he hopped back up to his feet, his idea was to watch the guys waist to see the turn as he came in close once more he thrust his prepped leg at him but quickly pounced off it as he brought his other leg over and struck Chase in the face once more.

A fakeout and he fell for it, Chase grunted as he spat out a thing of blood, he took a breath as he stood up once more, one more knock down and he was out. Chase changed his stance as he regained his balance. The man was quick, as he swung his fist, it was a straight open palm as Chase gripped his hand, the man grinned quickly grappling Chase in an attempt to lunge him. Jujitsu was deadly, as Chase broke his grab on the wrist he quickly moved him right as he lifted his arm and snapped down causing all his balance to go out and him to hit the mat hard. Akihito was perfect for counter attacks. He jumped back as the man stood up he was laughing as he came in close with several foot switches, Chase watched as the man made an open snap kick it was to slow Chase ducked under as the man then cocked his leg back and attempted to kick Chase, quickly grabbing his foot he quickly kicked him hard in the chest and tossed him to the floor. Two on Two, final point, the last point of the fight. Both opponents came in close as he attempted to do another fake out Chase quickly came around from the side in an attempt to elbow the man in the rib but when he came in to close the match was over, the man had left himself open on purpose, he brought his hands down as they wrapped around Chase's Bicep and elbow, pushing out all of Chase's weight under, he then tugged out flipping Chase onto the floor mat.

The room was spinning, as he was in a daze, a hand was presented to him as he stood up nearly collapsing, his cheeks were bruised as well as his ribs. He could make out a Good fight man... Before he slipped out of consciousness, waking to find himself in his Master's room, who was watching over him as well. Chase apologized for his failure, as his master shook his head he had informed him that Chase was pitted against an opponent who was known to be better then him. He told Chase to go to the car he'd drive him to Mr. Maretti's, Chase got changed into his hoodie and some Slims, his shirt was ruined from before, as he stepped into the car, they soon arrived as he stepped down the long drive way and up to the door using his spare key he stepped inside. "Seems empty... Wonder where those two could be..."
He placed his hand on his cheek as he flinched his face hurt so much it felt like the skin on it was going to rip right off. [********] It was obviously bruised to the touch. He placed his bag down as he laid back on it against the wall, he needed to sit down some more, basically collapsing in the lounge of the house. It'd be good if no one was home he could get some rest in before his shift, and not look pathetic and weak in front of the people he was sworn to protect, he some how managed to scrawl his way up to the couch and laid face first on the soft cushion, as he cried out a moan, his rib was in intense pain, this agony was going to go on for a lot longer though... He sighed as he faced his head towards the rest of the room the leather of the couch was cold, it felt nice like an ice pack, the way he was made it look like he was introspective, it was obvious both Sammy and Sophie were out, but where? There cars were gone... He expected Mr. Maretti to be upstairs with his Mrs. Maretti, but no idea the air conditioning blew down on him, as he closed his eyes for what only felt for a second, his shame and pride were hurt, that was the first match he'd ever lost...

The sun was shining through the dirty window, shining on the reflection of the glass... the glass that covered a picture... a picture of her... her brother... Nickolas..... She remembered that day... at the beach when she had taken the picture... He had been sitting on a rock at the beach... just staring at the waves... she had snuck up on him with a camera and took his picture before laughing and saying she had taken his soul... They lad laughed... he had tackled her in the sand and they ad wrestled a bit until he picked her up and tossed her in the cold ocean waves... then they had spent the day surfing and swimming together... It... it hadn't been long after that day when... when....

Paige squeezed her eyes shut, tears brewing and causing her eyes to swell red and puffy, little drops of rain dripping down her soft cheeks. No... She wanted to remember the good times, not the bad... not the horrific scenes of that night... her brother dead....

A soft rap on her door caused Paige to jump, wiping the moisture from her eyes and set the picture aside again, brushing herself off. "Coming," she called through the door, grabbing a brush and running it through he wavy hair several time, forcing a delicate smile to chase away the sorrowful memories. "I love you Nickolas..."she whispered to no one in particular, but somehow it comforted her... she and Nick had been close... they had done everything together except change and go to the bathroom. His anniversary was coming up... that was why she was having trouble lately not thinking about him...

At any rate, she wanted to get out of the house today. Mama and Papa had been arguing all night again... and she couldn't take it today. She knew she shouldn't complain... she knew what happened with... well with her friends family.... yeah... she should be grateful... and she was! Just... she couldn't take it today. She needed a detraction from old memories was all... She'd see if the twins, Anthony and Marco were free to hang today. They always made her laugh and smile.... get those butterflies sometimes. Just made her day cheerier and better. They were her best friends, though granted, they might be out with some girl or something... okay, she wasn't jealous... nah... just... uh, though most girls were too shallow and petty so they shouldn't bother... nope, not jealous at all... happy for them.. yeah... that's it...

Anyways, slipping her shoes on, tying them up loosely, Paige moved swiftly down the stairs, giving Cesar a small smile as he ate lunch, going around the counter to give her Mom a kiss on the cheek goodbye. "Bye bye Mama, be home later,
" she said in her slight Italian, slight french accent. It was funny how she managed to end up picking up both parents accents, some french and Italian, but what the heck right? Made life all the more fun!

Seeing as she didn't have a car, Paige grabbed her board, yes, her skate board, and hopped on, rolling down the sidewalk with weaves and simple tricks as she made her way to the Giordano house, smiling softly as the wind blew her hair around her face. Typical- she just brushed it. Moving the hair from her face, Paige hopped back off her board as she reached the Giordano's house, ringing the door bell, and calling out in her sweet voice, "Hey!? Anyone home?" waiting to see if anyone answered.

No one did.

Okay, so they were all out and about. Maybe she should have texted before just showing up, but that would have been OO for her, Out of the Ordinary. At any rate, she hopping back down on her board, ready to shred to who knows where. Okay, so Mark was most likely working for starters... and Tony? Mhmm, maybe out at the park? laying Soccer or something? Maybe... well, might as well head down there. She really- really- didn't want to spend this weekend all alone. Yesterday she had been cooped up in the house... Dad was all messed up yesterday and yeah, no one in or out the other day. So anywho! Shredding down the side walk, Paige's mind just kind of drifted to other stuff.... family stuff.... which led her to medical stuff... which caused her to shudder... gowd she hated hospitals... no one could blame her after her ordeal. Waking up in a new country, in a hospital bed, told you had been asleep for two months, oh and yes, you really had seen your brother die before your eyes, and you had undergone several surgeries and transplants, oh not to mention she'd be stuck there even longer... yeah... stupid hospitals...

And.... someone cut her off. More then one someone.

Pulling her from her thoughts, was three guys from school, who were blocking her path, to which Paige pulled her board up, stopped quietly, staring at the three wanna be jocks and rolled her eyes. Her guess? They were bored and looking for trouble. Smiling slightly, head tilting to the side, her curls cascading over her shoulders, the small teen stated, "I would love to help you, but I'm kind of in a hurry," in her subtle European accent. And--- got a look of blank stare back... wait... okay, now, what was that, a smirk? Sighing impatiently, she gave another faint smile, before quickly maneuvering around the three before they really had time to get a word in edge wise, merely waving over her shoulder as she went off.

So what would you think of me now,
so lucky, so strong, so proud?
I never said thank you for that,
now I'll never have a chance.
May angels lead you in.
Hear you me my friends. On sleepless roads the sleepless go.
May angels lead you in.
May angels lead you in. May angels lead you in.
And if you were with me tonight,
I'd sing to you just one more time.
A song for a heart so big,
God wouldn't let it live.

War is for the Brave.

User ImageMack's car was rather loud. The 1970 Chevelle's engine hummed through his garage. As he backed the muscle car out of his two car garage, he shut it with his remote clipped on the dashboard. As the garage shut, Mack pulled out of the driveway. He was doing something he'd never see himself doing while in the service; going to work. Everyday, driving was a challenge for Mack. The impatient and retired Drill Instructor made a terrible driver. Honking whenever annoyed, speeding, flipping off the other drives, and sometimes drinking while driving. As Mack drove down the road, he shifted gears; up and down according to the speed. Everywhere he drove, he saw teenagers. It didn't annoy him the slightest bit.User Image

The red 1970 Chevelle with yellow pinstripes stopped at a red light. Mack reached into his jacket pocket and removed a sealed cigar. The light was unusually slow today. Just as he placed the cigar in his mouth, he received a text. It was most likely from a client, or soon to be client. Bullocks, Mack cursed after lighting the cigar. He revved the cars engine, hoping to stir up either trouble, or some courage for a driver to run the light. A few blocks ahead was the address given to him by a contact; the Maretti family. Mack was a professional: if someone needed him, they'd contact him. Business was good as a professional. People paid well, and the work was fun.

The light turned green, and Mack shifted gears, stepping hard on the pedal. Wankers, he cursed cutting someone off. After hearing the car honk, he stuck his hand out of the window and flipped him or her off. Before going to his work space, he needed to pick something up. His parents home wasn't too far. Buried in his mother's garden was an M1911 in a wooden case with a few parts that needed some upgrading.

tab Marco at least seemed to remember her. The questioning in his voice when he said her name made her smile and nod lightly. He sort of remembered her off of the top of his head at least. "Yes Marco, it's me." Bambi said happily and nodded instantly. When her older brother wrapped her into a hug, she had to smile and give almost a laugh, wrapping her arms tightly around the older male. When he asked what she was doing here, she looked at him, wondering if he was upset that she had showed up. She hadn't seen him in so long, so she was sure that wasn't the case, but from his reaction she kind of wanted to ask him if she wasn't wanted there. Before she could mention it, however, Marco spoke again.

tab "I hope I've changed." She giggled with a wink and looked at him up at down. "You've gotten so old..." She joked, wrinkling her nose as if she actually thought him old. Of course Letizia remembered that he was only two tears older than her, but it was fun to pick on him. Since she hadn't been able to do it in so long, she was taking advantage of the moment. Giggling lightly she patted his shoulder and grinned. "I hope I've changed. It's been a long time since I've seen you. How have you been? How's Tony?" She asked hurriedly. Having so many questions she was having a hard time only asking one at a time. Looking behind Marco she looked over at Jacee and beamed, though was wary of moving over to him. After all, she had no idea if the younger male even remembered her.

tab "How long have I been gone? Jacee's getting soooo big!" She said happly, looking back at Marco after straightening her body out and clapping excitedly. "How is everyone? How's mom?!" The last words were more serious than the others. She was incredibly worried about her mother. She always had been and when she was allowed to call, she always asked her mother how she was feeling. From what she could remember, she had only ever talked to her mother on the phone. Shaking her head she forced a smile again and hugged her brother once more. "You smell good?" It came out a question because last time she checked, Marco didn't smell like a male. He was simply Marco. Now he smelled like a man, it was nice to know that he was still around and smelling good. "You're looking alright too." she said with a lazy shrug, winking again. It was awesome being able to joke with her siblings once more.

tab Finally Bambi decided to address his original question. "And to answer your question; I was finally allowed to come back home and visit for a while!" She said happily, clapping her hands and jumping up and down a little bit. "Oh, I'm so happy to be home! I missed you all so much!" She said cheerily, wrapping her arms around him once more, resting her head on his chest as if she was remembering the familiar comfort of being near her brother. "So!" She said letting him go once more and grabbed one of his hands with both of hers. "Spill it already! How is everyone? How is home? Tony? Autumn? Roxanne? Even Jacee? Oh by the way.. do you think he remembers me? Do you think Roxanne will remember me?" She frowned in worry at the thoughts of them not remembering her and she squeezed his hand gently, biting her lower lip before smiling, waiting for his responses, eager to know everything.

w h i s p e r to me sweet n.o.t.h.i.n.g.s of forever

Sam watched the two leave the table, but Samantha could hear the two argue, she didn't like the mad side of Tony. It made him look like he was his father's son. That, was one of the things she feared the most. She would do anything to keep him out of that path.

She turned to Sophie, asking a question that Samantha didn't have an answer to, so she shrugged. Sam watched as Roxy walked out, a finger as a wave goodbye and a glistening tear bleeding down her cheek. She sighed, and looked down. Sam stood, but the young girl had already walked out. If she hadn't she would have volunteered to take her home herself...Sam could be a softy at times. The older twin sat back down, and layed her head over on her sister's shoulder.

Sam looked up at Tony, a automatic smile growing wide like a disease. She placed a hand over his, reminding him she was there for him, he probably knew that..since it was one of the many promises they made when they were younger fooling around a swing set. Even then, she was in love with him. Sam could never see herself with anybody else besides Tony Girodano. She turned down alot of boys, even nowadays, considering they weren't him. She couldn't help but feel as if they had something special...and even he felt it.

Samantha grew weary, a random thought creeping from a dark corner in her mind..one of her worst fears is he dating?...is he single? She could feel her heart stuck in her throught, just the worst feeling of wonder. Quite cruel actually. Her face flushed pale, and she tried to swallow her heart back down, but her throat started to tickle. She removed her hand from Tony's and covered her mouth, and coughed, she sat up straight and smiled sheepishly. "Excuse me." Sam looked down just utterly embarassed, and bit her lip. Only being around him would make Sam choke on her own spit.

"So, um, homeschool. Its okay I guess. Hows your school? Is there anybody...special there we should know about?" She urged a smirk on her face, making it seem more playful then how serious it really was, and braced herself for an answer. It wouldn't be much of a surprise he was dating...he was definetly goodlooking, and he was such a sweetheart, he was kind and funny.... who wouldn't want to date him? Plus, even if he was...it wouldn't be the end of the world, would it?
