Always remember to follow the Gaian terms of service, I don't think anyone wants to be banned. Don't be an a** butt, be respectful to others and myself. I don't want people getting left out, or felt like they are ignored. It's not cool. If you do have an issue with someone, please keep it between yourselves discreetly in a pm, if it does get bad, you may also notify me, again discreetly. No reason for anyone else to be dragged into it. Also, do not steal anything from this thread. The ooc is a good place to plot and get to know people, but don't make this role play all plot and no post, that's just ******** bullshit.

This is a literate to advanced literate roleplay, I do prefer quality over quantity with posts, with that said, I know that there are plenty of role players out there that can type up at least three paragraphs or more. I expect decent grammar and spelling, and for you to write correctly, that means not using asterisks for actions, quotes to be around any and all speech, speech will be colored and bolded, and thoughts to be italicized. It is also proper that each time you are writing for another character such as a npc, that when they talk a new paragraph is started. I like pretty formats as much as the next person and encourage you to make one of the best of your ability. I am already having to remake this due to lack of posting, I don't wish to repeat this.

▹ ＣＨＡＲＡＣＴＥＲＳ

Humans are humans, just don't make some Mary Sue, Gary Sue character. If you're not okay with your character dying off, this may not be the role play for you. Sure, some of the attendees will make it out alive, but not all of them. You can always make another character. When choosing a model, or famous person, make sure they match your characters age. Okay, so, just to be clear, the only supernatural carnie that is allowed powers will be the devil, and the fortune teller, but only to do just that. See into people's past and future. No exceptions. I may allow other freaks to have powers, but that all depends on what they are and how powerful it is. The devil wouldn't want anyone that could overpower him. Try not to give me preety people, characters are suppose to look creepy, or at least dead. Try searching at Deviantart, that is where I find a lot of good faceclaims. I will automatically decline you if you ignore this. The application thread will direct you on how to join, follow directions and you will be fine.

The carnival is coming to town, for a special Halloween special. Starting on October 20th, through November 1st, get your tickets now!

The carnival of the damned, what a strange name, one may think. Perhaps, it is the theme of their show. All carnival's have themes, and what more appropriate for Halloween? What if it was deeper than that? What if that strange ringleader that gives you a bad feeling was the devil in disguise, the carnies are the living dead, who had sold their souls, and the freaks are demons just waiting to be allowed to claim their next victim?

Like most carnivals that come into town, the ringleader has decided to hire on some help. Will they find the secrets behind the carnival of the damned before it's too late, or will they end up joining the show for all eternity?
