ll▷ Samxxx[ Sammy ]xxxWolff
-----------------------------------------but you might know me as Ridiculously shy~

"I'm an introvert at heart "

Pointless. That was Sam's overall viewpoint on today's activity. So far today had been boring and uninteresting. Not only was he overlooked in his previous class but one of his teachers couldn't even remember he was in the class. But that was the price he had to pay for being shy and lurking in the shadows. Sam badly wanted to call Mary and ask her to pick him up. Mary was his adopted mother, but he still hadn't gotten use to the fact she was his mother, for practically fifteen years now. Sighing Sam quickly walked the crowded hallways of Sayreville High, making sure to avoid bumping into people. Communication. Something Sam tried to avoid everyday of the year. Looking up at the repeated posters for prom king and queen made Sam's stomach turn , social activities like that made him want to crawl under a rock and die. He couldn't imagine how someone could put up with so much spotlight and attention. All he wanted to do was get his lunch and head to the library. His once safe heaven where noisy social people wouldn't dare enter. Sam's usually spot, a table next to a wilted tree, was unavailable due to the cold weather. Zipping up his sweater Sam zoomed through the crowed and into a new area of attack. The lunchroom.

A over crowded place where teenagers threw food and chatted with friends was the most scariest place in the whole high school. Not only was it crowded it was filled with people he was most envious of. Sure it was traditional for the no body to admire the perfects, right? Well to Sam everyone made him envious, especially the way they were able to communicate without having to barf. Waiting in line for his food was the hardest part of his day. Everyone was required to stand in the same line, unless of course you cut. And that was what Sam did everyday. His ability to be unnoticed helped him cut in front of people who were too into their conversation to notice the line moved. Grabbing the first thing his hands could reached he placed it on his tray and paid. Relief.

Now having gotten his food, Sam sighed and started his regular routine paced to the library. Glancing here and there at the people sitting on the tables. Often wondering what it would be like to just have a table to sit at where people were expecting you. Sam of course had some friends but after awhile people would just stop trying to get him to open up. He would receive casual hellos from people he knew but the only response they got was a slight smile on his face, on good days. And complete silence on Bad days. Exiting from the lunchroom, Sam started to make mental notes of everything he needed to do after school. Work and homework. Yes it was surprising that Sam actually agreed to a job and was more shock to be hired, even though he knew Mary helped him. He worked at a local thrift shop arranging and folding merchandise, quite simple, and it required no talking ( most of the time). Finally arriving at the library Sam walked over to his usual table near the window. Placing his food on the table Sam sat down and took out a sour patch from his pocket and placed it on his tray and started to eat his lunch.

xxxxxxxxxx xxShe turned the sandwich she held in her hands continuously as she looked up at Friedrich, a smile forming on her face when he thanked her for asking him how he was doing. "Yeah, sure." Sometimes Friedrich could be so polite. Okay, well Friedrich was kind of always this polite. And if he ever planned on getting anywhere other than the staircase, he would have to get rid of that chivalry as soon as possible. As if to prove her point, Friedrich excused himself before standing up and gathering together the papers and the book that had been kicked towards the staircase. He put them all together and brought them over to Cameron, who thanked him then ran off. That was Friedrich for you. People should have been used to him by now. Natasha should have been used to him by now, but she wasn't.

Friedrich had come right back to the staircase, asking Natasha to continue, his voice a little strained. He was obviously a little upset about these people being harassed, or bullied, or whatever you wanted to call it. But before he had went 'superhero' on Natasha, he had asked her about the winter dance. Being a foreign exchange student, Friedrich really hadn't known all that much about the American culture. Except for the things he had read in text books, which Natasha was sure Friedrich had found out was not enough. Not nearly enough. High school should have had its own text book.

Natasha noticed somebody catching themselves with the railings to her left, but she tried to ignore it; people constantly fell, tripped, and tumbled all over these staircases. She opened her mouth to explain a little about the Winter dance to Friedrich, when she heard a familiar voice coming from the person she had just noticed to her left.

"Ugh.. Geez. Cafeteria food is good for two things. A quick escape from third period, and a physical hazard that could ultimately cause a concussion.."

She definitely recognized the voice. It was Maximillion Manici, current popular. She knew him, she knew him very well. They used to hang out, Natasha and Maxxie. They were friends. Of course they were friends, they were both popular. But Natasha made the stupid mistake of trying to overthrow the queen's position, and she failed miserably, bringing her were she was now. She had changed her style, her hair color, her hair style, she stopped wearing glasses. Yeah, she knew that a lot of people still knew who she was, she wasn't exactly trying to make everyone think she wasn't who she was. She was just making it less likely that she would have to deal with the title of 'former popular' everywhere she went. To most, she was just some random outcast. To the ones who knew who she was, they didn't make all that big deal of it. Not all the time, at least. Natasha used to have dirty blond hair, now she had black hair. Natasha used to have hair that reached halfway down her back, now her longest hairs barely reached her shoulders. Natasha used to wear stylish black glasses, now she wore contacts. Things change, she didn't need to make a big deal out of it.

Her turkey sandwich was what she would be focused on for the next couple of minutes. She was sure. Maxxie would see that he was standing by a bunch of outcasts, and he would simply walk away. He turned towards Natasha and Friedrich, nodding his head briefly and flashing a quick smile. Then his gaze stuck on Natasha. Crap, crap, crap. She didn't want lunch to end with a big scene, that wasn't at all what she wanted today. She wasn't having a good day in the first place, so why would she need this on top of it. Maxxie even said she looked familiar! At least he hadn't recognized her right away, though. Natasha took a bite of her sandwich, still looking down, her gaze moving along to her feet. As long as she kept up a decent charade, she'd be fine. He didn't even have a name to try and match with the face.

Natasha peeked over towards Friedrich, noticing he was looking at her, too. This was awkward. Natasha didn't speak up, though. What would she say? 'Yeah, I used to be a popular, but I completely trashed Siri's system and was kicked out. You don't remember?' Yeah right, like she was going to announce her own humiliation. It was times like these that Natasha was glad that she had never really shared her story with Friedrich, or any of the other outcasts for that matter. Suddenly Friedrich was pushing himself up from his seat and taking Maxxie's hand, shaking it firmly.

"Ah, this ist Natasha whom you are speaking about..."

So, it seemed, Maximillion had a face to match, but surely he still wouldn't recognize Natasha. It seemed that his eyes kept on searching Natasha's face, looking for an answer. She wasn't about to give it up, though. She took another bite of her turkey sandwich and kept her face down. Tianna came up the stairs, and Natasha was immediately thankful for the distraction. "Hey, Tianna." Natasha smiled, still keeping her sandwich by her face, and still looking down. After Friedrich had greeted Natasha, he asked for Maxxie's name. Natasha almost, surprised that they didn't know his name. "M - " But she thought about it for a second, then decided it was better to pretend like she didn't know who he was, either. "Mmm... good sandwich." She improvised quietly, feeling more than a little stupid.

So I've been thinking that, maybe baby,
I've been going a little crazy lately...

Cory nearly fell asleep in his class, the teacher was so boring, and she hd nothing to do but say how amazing some person from the 20's was. Bleck. This was boring, he wanted to go talk to his friends! HE looked around the class to see that most the students were asleep, but some were taking an amazing amount of notes. Nerds. He thought, and laughed internally. The teacher was pacing acrossed the front of the room, back and forth back and forth, talking about history, saying the same exact words the book was. Had she remembered it? The loser teacher probably had nothing better to do at home.

Finally! The bell rang, in its loud, annoying way, though it didn't bother students, all they cared about was getting to go socialize. And the nerds, well, Cory didn't exactly know what they did at lunch. The whole class went from their seats to the front door, all trying to cram through it at the same time. "Get the hell out of the way!" Cory demanded, and the students did. "Cory Ben Carlyle!" The teacher yelled out, but Cory was already halfway down the hall, putting in the lock combination on his locker. He put his books in the locker, and got his iPod out of his backpack, he may need it, so he put it in his hoodie pocket.
Cory walked into the cafeteria and sat at the popular table. "Hey guys." He said to them all, he was only rude to everyone but the populars.User Image

As she waited for Anna's reply, a familiar face appeared at their table. Anni's smile insta-widened and she tapped her feet quickly on the floor in excitement. "Cory!!" She squealed and gave him a tight little hug before returning back to her food. Suddenly her whole Precalculus problem was less significant. It would rear it's ugly head sooner or later, but she figured she'd just enjoy the time without the pestering thoughts while she still had it.

"Why so late? Get stuck by the freshie's again?" The sentence was a little muffled; she popped another little ranch-covered pepperoni into her mouth. Throughout the years it seemed like the school was getting so overpopulated. At times Anni found herself wondering how on earth the teachers deal with so many names on a regular basis. All the different personalities clashing and just...forming negative chi or whatever it was the different personalities did to each other. It was just a big ol' ruckus to her.

One thing she could always count on was Cory's sweetness, at least to the people in her group. She'd seen how he acted with the non-populars before. It almost scared her, but hey. It was just another personality quirk.

Eyes scanning his person, she noticed something. "Hey! Aren'tcha gonna get the pizza? It's so good!" A small pout began its formation on her lips. Was he going to eat? Did he bring a lunch? There's no way I can let him just starve to death...!

Inwardly she laughed at herself. Oh how she sounded like a mother. It was just how she treated all of her closest friends.

Cory laughed in his appealing, deep voice as she squealed and hugged him. He sat back down afterwards. "I'm late simply because of the havok of getting out of class, and miss whats her face yelled at me again today." He said. He had a bad mouth, and he knew it, so what? "Pizza? I'm not sure if its good today, plus the line is huge." He stole a pepperoni fromher pizza, and popped it in his mouth. "Mmmm." He smiled. "It is good."

"Guess it'll be worth the wait." He laughed. User Image

The little pout that was starting to make its way onto her lips disappeared and was replaced with a rather large scowl. Almost regretting feeling sorry for him, she began smacking his arms furiously. "Oh!! Oh oh oh!!!" Anni exclaimed sharply. "You get out of here you...pepperoni stealer!! Go get your own!" She gave him one last 'hard' hit -- it wasn't like she was made of muscle, at all -- and ended it with a rough push. Sometimes he was the sweetest and other times he just pushed her buttons.

                                                        Maybe he was like...a brother.

Anni smiled at the thought, then gave him another swift whack. "And I hope you know that you now owe me two pepperoni slices. Because I said so." She stuck out her tongue a little, just like a five year old of course. Turning to Anna, she rolled her eyes and laughed. "Aaaaaaanyway. ~" Her voice sang. "Where was I? Oh yeah, Winter Formal mall trip. Wanna?"

He said with one last laugh. He walked ot where the lunch line was, it had dispensed since he entered. "Two pizzas, please." He said with a charming smile. "And can i have some extra pepperoni?" He asked the lunch lady.

She just put extra peices on his plate without a word. "Bye." He said, it wasn't like he was going to say thank you! The populars got special treatment, as did the jocks, because everyone loved them, well, thats what they liked to think.

He walked back to the table and put five pepperoni slices on Anni's plate, and smiled. "Keep the change." He smiled at her and laughed. He sat down and started eating. User Image

Volleyball Team Leader
If you can't beat my heat, stay off the court!!

Only a few mere seconds passed before the third slice of pizza was consumed into Shari's black hole of a stomach. It wasn't uncommon that food at any party would magically disappear from the food banquet table, if Shari was in attendance that is. Before she bit into her fourth and last slice, her eyes widened slightly. Perhaps this...book reader was a spicy Latino lover as well. From Madeline's words it sure sounded like that. Should she give Madeline her last piece? It didn't look like she had eaten yet so far...The thought pondered in Shari's mind for a while, until whoops! The piece already was eaten by Shari's hungry stomach. She could only shrug, it probably was for the best anyway. Shari was already being more friendly with Madeline than what she usually would be. Reputation was on the line twenty-four seven at this high school, Shari knew that very well. To many times had she watched some of her fellow athletes crash and burn, it didn't look to fun in her opinion.

Not even realizing that Madeline had answered her question, Shari nervously let out a small laugh. She didn't know how some people could get so caught up in books. People always talked about going to different worlds when they read books. Unfortunately for Shari that had never happened to her before. The only activity that made her feel like she had left earth was when she was on the court. Kind of cliche, Shari knew that. Though it was the honest truth, and she wouldn't deny it one bit. "Wow, that sounds interesting...so its kind of like...a fantasy novel? Does it take you to another world like everyone says reading does"? Shari was curious to know really, if it was just her that wasn't able to use her imagination, or if everyone else was just lying through their teeth.

Ah, the talent show. That's right, students who sign up get to take fourth period out of their schedule and go practice. Even though that sounded very tempting to Shari, she knew that studying to get her grades up came before anymore school activities. "Well good luck I guess then. I'm to jammed with school work to pick up another school activity for the end of the semester..." It didn't really bother Shari that she couldn't do the talent show, knowing herself she would have just made a fool of herself in front of the whole damn school. Not on her to do list.

Shari licked her fingers once more to get the flavor of Jalapeño off of her fingers. And surprising her all of a sudden was none other than her buddy Christian. Shari hated it when people sneak up on her, you could say she wasn't the girl you would want sitting behind you in a horror movie. You would certainly walk out of the room with a box of popcorn all over you.. with extra butter. "Ugh CJ, you know I dislike it when people sneak up on me like that...!" There was a hint of playfulness in her voice that showed that she wasn't angry with her friend, more of teasing really. Shari looked at Christian with a brow raised, it wasn't any surprise to her that he asked them to hang out that weekend. He was known to flirt around, but Shari considered him to be a friend, so she went along with it.. Truth be told she didn't have anything planned either, which in her books was pretty darn sad. "Well that makes two of us, I'm in, no practice for a while for volleyball. Though your paying for food. Got anything in mind hotshot?" Ice cream was her weakness, Shari had to admit it. Probably oreo was her favorite, right next to dark chocolate. Delicious.

Gossiping can start by rumors first.
You just can't help but talk about it and spread it.
Most are just tiny lies that people make up.
Some are the cold hard truth about someone.
But all in all it gets stopped at the end.

Anna must have dozed off or something because she didn't even notice Anni was talking to her until she said something about Siri. She shook her head and looked at Anni with a smile. “Really? Hmm well only one way to find that out.” she said in a soft whisper before taking another sip of her water. Anna always needed to have some water in her before she started blabbing off. It was just something that she did. Nobody told her she had to do it or not. Either way Anna heard Anni talk about shopping. Ooo how lovely. Of course Anna wanted to. Whats better then getting out of the house with your friend then staying home with your boring parents.

Before Anna had a chance to even reply to Anni, Corey came over. She smiled and replied, “Hey Corey”, before eating her pizza and beginning to zone out again. She felt like it anyway she didn't entirely zone out. Anna couldn't believe how good this pizza was. No wonder she liked pizza days at school. No wonder most kids did. She turned to see the line for the students to get their food and it was huge. Anna knew that they were probably getting pizza. She felt sort of bad for the lunch ladies. They had to keep at it. But luckily it wasn't her or else Anna would have quit her job the minute this happened.

Carefully placing her pizza back down she looked at Anni and Corey. She luckily looked in time because it seemed Corey had stole a pepperoni from Anni. Even though Anna didn't entirely see it funny she only giggled. It seemed as if Corey was always messing with Anni. Anna didn't pay to much attention though so she couldn't tell. She gave a quiet yawn before looking just in time to see that Anni was starting a fight with Corey. She laughed and began to eat her pizza. Just when she was thought she had something she shouldn't do it. Anna wasn't going to gossip about her friends unless they deserved it. She returned back to drinking her water while Anni was still hitting Corey. Anna then saw that Anni was done with hitting him and returned her attention back to her. She thought for a moment. “Hmmm... I don't know... uh sure why not?” she said with a smile.

if somebody at least listens, it's not too bad.

"I, uh... I read everything already, I just... I just gotta get my thoughts down on paper, s'all. So, in short, I still have to start. Wouldn't mind some editing when I'm done, though." Mateo boggled - Cam was already done with the essay? Meanwhile, Mrs. Korman had just assigned it to his class... he shook his head, consoling himself with another spoonful of pudding. Of course Cameron would have it done; she was so far ahead in her classes she might as well have graduated to the next grade by now.

He gave a little nod of acknowledgment at Luca, his mouth still full of chocolate goodness. "'Ey, Ooca. Yoo gah a effay today too?" Mateo mumbled out, before pausing and swallowing the small mountain of pudding in his mouth. "Sorry. You got an essay today too, man? Or is it just Korman's classes?" He sighed, tossing the empty plastic cup into a nearby trashcan. Then again, knowing Luca, he's probably done with it too. The boy thought to himself a bit ruefully. It was nice to hang around all these guys, but it felt... it felt weird to be around such over-achievers. Sometimes - although he hated to admit it - Mateo felt a little left out. These guys had enough brains to power an entire football team, and then some.

He contented himself by going over his pre-calculus homework, vaguely listening to the surrounding conversation. Is the inverse of a function necessarily a function? In other words, is the relation below on the right also a function? Uh, no, because... Mateo scribbled out an answer, his brows furrowing together. Functions and relations were good and all, but god, were they ever boring! He looked up from his work momentarily, gazing around the cafeteria.

There was Christian - What a douchebag,[/colour] Mateo thought scornfully - flirting with Shari. A ways off there was Anya, feisty as ever, and Anna, Anni, Corey... Mateo wondered to himself how he knew all of these people, when they most likely had a brief inkling of who he was. "Oh, Mateo?" They would say, "That loud Spanish kid? God, he never shuts up."

He frowned. Where the hell was all this reflective stuff coming from, anyways? Regardless, he went back to people-watching, fiddling with his pencil as he looked around. Hyun Ae, that cute Korean chick, Ashe, Natasha... Mateo ducked his head back down into his work, frustrated. He was behind in pre-calc. There wasn't any time left for watching.

Friedrich tried not to notice the stares as he sat down with Natasha. He thought of himself as an average lad, and therefore didn't understand where these eyes looking at him came from. He had already been here for three months, shouldn't they have gotten used to him by now? It must be my accent. But I can't help it! Was it that weird to hear a teenager pronouncing his ' w's ' as ' v's ' and ' s's ' as ' z's' ? ....I guess zo. It didn't bother him in the angry type of way, but he sure felt a bit conscious about it.

But he had to push pass the people and their thinking. People always thought; it's just the way they were made. He had to pay attention to Natasha. (Mother always said girls enjoyed being listened to.) Rich, a permanent nickname for him. Americans must have been so bad at his name, they started coming up with tons of different ones. Either that or risk completely ruining his proper name. Friedrich was not pronounced as a "fried rich". Fried riches? Well, that probably wouldn't taste that great. Fried was a way to prepare certain foods. Friedrich as in Free-drick. In Germany, 'ch' were said as 'ck.' Hey, who knew you'd get a German lesson in Friedrich's story? He had yet to find anyone many people, asides from his speech teacher, who correctly said his name. But at least someone was talking to him. Screwing up his name or giving him nicknames would have to do.

Friedrich sighed inwardly as she turned over his question to himself. She never enjoyed talking about herself, which was why Friedrich knew so little of her. He never really knew why she was an 'outcast' (as the others called his group). Friedrich was socially awkward in the likes of American culture, he deserved to be placed in this category. Natasha, though, didn't have any real reason to be. She was pretty, good with words, and dressed normally. It wasn't like she was the new kid on the block, like Tianna was. Friedrich couldn't put his finger on it. And with her turning the conversation around to him, he might never find out.

"Ah, ich bin gut -" he started, but then realized after Natasha's stare that he was talking in German. Nasty habit. "I mean... I am good, thanks für asking." He smiled at her, a genuine smile. It was rare when he wasn't happy, and it was only when he was making a frown that you had to be worried. He sometimes hated himself for not being able to continue on a conversation. His English was able to survive a simple talk. Anything more elaborate, and Friedrich would get confused with grammar and words so much he'd start talking in his first language extremely fast. One day he'd be able to be loquacious.

Since they were on the stairwell, it was easy for the German boy to peer down at the whole cafeteria. On one side sat a crowd of people, thinking he saw the girl by the name Cameron in the middle of it. He only remembered her name because he had seen her on the morning announcements, being the student council president. She was surrounded by people he didn't know too well. In the middle there was a girl reading a book. The girl for a second met with his eyes before another girl came and sat with her. Then two other people (a boy and a girl) came shortly after. On the end of the other side, sat another large group of people. These were the "populars". (This was such an odd term to be used on people, Friedrich remembered. In Germany, people referred to the word 'popular' when talking about Autos, or clothes. Not...living things.) The girls at the table had all talked to him at least once. It ended only after a couple of chit-chats though, after they all kept giving him the strangest looks.

"Zo, um, Natasha, there's a vinter ball coming up. Hast you ever been to one? Vhat's it like?" he took a bite of his sandwich - roast beef with sourdough bread. Germans took a liking to firm bread; they refused to eat flimsy, soft bread. He was really curious about the winter ball. He wondered if parties in America were anything like Germany's. Friedrich had thought the schools would be the same, but he was proven heavily wrong. Were balls different as well?

[Ooc: Three, I really don't know, I cant put out nearly as much as everyone else. O.o]
While shari gobbled down her last slice, she mentally said, goodbye to the sweet scent of spice. Another thing that nobody knew was, she loved food, pretty much all kinds, that wern't crap. She actually loved to cook, experiment with spices...
Nobody knew this, for the soul reason that, she never really ate at school, some actually thuoght she was anorexic, or some nonsense like that.

"Yea, its a fantasy novel..." She said with a laugh. "I don't exactly go into another world, I just, block out th rest of mine, if taht means the same thing?" Mr. soccer Player had walked up to their table and madeline was shocked. What the hell was happening today? He usually would beat on her in the hallways or something, not sit down with her! He had said hi to, her? Madeline just waved at him.

"Yea, I'm not sure though, I'm not really talented at anything good..." She said shyly, though it was a lie, she was liek some sort of guitar genius! She just didn't know it. User Image

Only class Constantine was looking forwarding in going was to Ms. River’s class, a teacher that taught Creative Writing. You could say it was a second English class basically, just like American Literature or African American Literature that the school held for other kids wanting to do something more interesting then the simple stuff. Yes, Constantine was anything but simple, but wasn’t that all the kids in his group? They might want some simple things, but their creative abilities were above average to most students in the school. That was likely the main reason they all got along with each other a lot easier than they could most other students. Oh, true, some had friends or people they spoke to out of their group, but they usually kept to themselves it was just the way of order High School groups went.

When the bell rung he stood up grabbing his books he brought with him and nodded to the Science teacher as he headed out of the class and down the rather busy and crowed hallways. No, it wasn’t a class he enjoyed, really to him it was a waste of time, but he kept that comment to himself. There was no reason he was going to hurt a teachers feeling or annoy another student that took Science to heart. Usually he knew when to keep and how to keep quiet, and when to be blunt to other things. He might be a Poetic Soul but life was filled with ups and down even he knew that. Not saying his life was horrible, just could be better than his over bearing mother and his father who was excited to have an older son playing baseball for a college team. Finally he stopped at his locker, dropping the two books and a notebook, a notebook with his favorite well it was secret, just say not even his closet friends knew about his odd little obsession of writing and not writing about poems for once. Closing his locker another notebook in his hand an apple in his hand he brought with him to school, headed down the hallway with the rest of the student body.

Minutes later he was in the Cafeteria standing in the line for the soda machine; finally it was his turn putting his money in it and then hit the button for water. Once it popped out he moved away and headed towards their table, a table his group usually sat at. It was almost as if they had assigned seats in this area, and only certain people sat with certain people. Again, it really was just the way high school went, if you tried to sit in a certain spot and if they people was rude or mean, just imagine would happen or what kind of rumors would be spread quickly about you.

“Didn’t expect you to get here first Anaya; I really thought Mrs. Norington would catch you again.”

What did he mean? Well just say he knew how fond the teacher was over her, a little weird but school was like this. Teachers had their own issues so he wasn’t going to say anything against them. Only teacher he would say anything to was the History teacher, but that was because he took his notebook once and read it out loud making himself embarrassed and not the student. Putting his poem notebook down first and then his drink he sat on the other side of the table a small smile on his lips.

“So I take it, we are the first ones here?”

His eyebrow rose surprised by that, he really thought others would be here too. Yet, today was Pizza do so maybe they were in line getting food? Either way their spots were saved by these two students, they were their friends. Even if days they were annoying to each other. No matter what even in friendships they all would have their ups and downs about everything.

ooc; I do picture and other stuff later have to run now ><

                                                        [ooc: xxxx]

It didn't take too much to make Anni a happy camper, be it a good song or seeing a friend. One thing that could always make her the happiest person in the world was shopping. Maybe it was because of all the cute things out there to buy, making outfit compilations as she went from store to store, having conversations with the gay cashiers -- oh, they were so adorable! When she was younger she wanted to have an older brother to protect her. Now she wanted an older brother that was gay and said things like, "Fabulous!" and "Fierce!".

Yeah, she was a recovering shopaholic. Recovering. It amazed her that she was doing so well, too. Normally she would've completely renovated her wardrobe within the past week, but in that time she settled for a pair of adorable skinny jeans and a few amazing pairs of shoes; one pair she wanted to wear to the Winter Formal, but it all depended on what dress she was going to get. Which was why she was elated when Anna said she was interested in her idea. "Oh I'm so happy you like the idea! I need your opinion on a dress I saw a couple weeks ago. I think it's cute but...eh. I need another opinion." Anni always relied on the opinion of others when it came to dress shopping. Maybe it was tradition in the girl world? She didn't quite know, but if it was she followed it religiously.

When Cory came back and plopped the pepperoni on her plate, she squealed and clapped her hands once. "Oh Cory, you shouldn't have!!" Her gaze traveled over to him, pursing her lips. "But I'm glad you did so don't you dare take them back." She put in quickly, knowing that he'd do something to take them away if she wasn't careful. Dipping one of the slices in ranch she popped it in her mouth and fiddled a little with her nails. Aww, she forgot to paint them last night. Oh well. Just another thing to do while hanging out in the back of the local convenient store.

Where she was conveniently working undercover.

She didn't even trust her closest friends with this information. To be honest she wanted to avoid the thought completely, but making her own cash had become a big part of her after school life, and it was getting harder and harder to keep herself hidden in the back room when people from her school came to get food and supplies and whatever people get at convenient stores. Conveniently, of course. She almost lost her job the other day because she refused to help one of her classmates. Luckily one of her coworkers volunteered and saved her a**. If she lost that job it'd be hard to find another, and she wouldn't be able to live off of the earnings she got from her other job; a frier at McDonalds. Yes. A degrading job but at least she made enough to help her laid off father out.

To change the subject in her mind, she turned to Cory. "We're having an all girl's shopping trip to find dresses for Winter Formal sometime soon. Wanna come?" Oh yes, she teased him mercilessly. Giggling, she popped another pepperoni slice in her mouth and chewed on it slowly.

So I've been thinking that, maybe baby,
I've been going a little crazy lately...

A wide smile spread acrossed Codys face when she saw the pepperoni. "You welcome." he laughed. Anni had told him about how she wanted a gay older brother, and he could actually fit the part, since he was bi, harshly on the boys side, but she didn't know, or she may have suspected it... But she didn't act like it. Cory sat down at the table and shoved a some pizza in his mouth. "Mmmm." he mumbled.

"Girls shopping trip?" He said, his mouth partly full, a little sauce on the side of his mouth. He was quite the messy eater. "Dresses?" He asked, then swallowed, and wiped his mouth with a napkin. Cory shrugged. "What the hell, sure, I gotta get somthing to wear too." Anni knew that Cory, unlike alot of other guys, enjoyed shopping, weird, huh?User Image
