Greetings cats, kittens and random balls of fluff.

As the direction that Gaia has taken recently makes this site no longer suitable to my needs, I'll be heaving off to brighter shores. Before I go, though, I figured I'd have an inventory sale. Note that this is a true inventory sale, not one of those "Oh, I think I'll sell off all of my Daily Chance s**t in the Exchange" deals. I've been around since '03 and this is all of the stuff that I've kept. I figured some of you might have a use for it.

"But Jean-Paaaauuuul," I can hear some of you thinking, "if you're going to leave, why not just give me us your stuff?"

Because this is only phase one of my departure. Phase two includes tracking down some of the artists who have made my stay here a joy and offering them whacking huge bribes for one last piece of work. And for that, I need gold, hence this sale. So have a look around.

UPDATE 9/21/07: Since I did promise that I would post this, here's my art request thread.

UPDATE 9/25/07: Well, I've tallied up what I have left to sell. Since the total won't make a substantial difference in the amount of gold I'm offering artists, the time draws nigh to wrap this sale. Last day for the sale will be October 1st, regardless of what I have left in stock. Any items left will be given to friends or charities, so all you beggars can go crawling back into the swamp that spawned you.

Rules:

1. Read the rules. Read the rules. Read the ******** rules.

2. You MUST post your order in this thread and it must be acknowledged and accepted by me before you initiate a trade. Any trades that I have not approved beforehand will be canceled and you may wind up blacklisted as a result. Do NOT PM orders to me!

2.1. Purchasing works thusly:
a) You post your offer.
b) I accept or reject your offer.
c) If your offer is accepted, YOU BEGIN THE TRADE! No exceptions. I don't send items to anyone until I see that they can pay for them. If you post an offer when I'm offline, you'll need to check back and see my response.
d) I send your items.
e) You complete the trade.
f) Everyone celebrates.

3. Store items are listed with their store price before the slash and my asking price after. Event items, rares, and MCs are listed at lower-than-MP average prices in most cases. Unless otherwise noted, prices listed are per item. I will not haggle with store prices. MCs, rares and event items are potentially negotiable, but don't bother if you're going to be an idiot about it. I may alter a price to one or two K lower than MP, but keep in mind that this is not an auction. Do not test my good nature.

4. I accept payment in gold only. I'm getting out of this berg, so your items aren't going to be a lot of use to me. Sorry.

5. I am not bound to honor typos in the price list.

6. Generally speaking, this sale will operate on a first-come, first-served basis. However, if two orders are posted very close to each other -- as in, within a minute or two of each other -- I reserve the right to favor the buyer with the larger order. That means, if I have one person who wants to buy my Jack Visor, and someone posts right after saying they want the whole Jack Uniform set, then the person wanting the set will typically get it.

7. Allow up to 24 hours for me to process your trade; real life is a bit busy right now. Generally, though, I'll try to be quick about things and will let you know when I'm offline.

8. Please clearly list the items you want and the total cost in your order posts.

9. One of these -- * -- means that the item is currently the subject of a pending trade. If a trade is not initiated within 24 hours of acknowledgment, the item becomes fair game again.

10. Waiting longer than a day or two to confirm your end of an initiated trade may result in the trade being canceled.

11. I reserve the right to add to these rules as needed.

FAQ

1. Can you hold an item for me?

No, sorry. I've been burned by people asking me to hold items for them, then never actually coming back to pay for them.

2. Can I trade art for items?

I'm not adverse to trading items for art, but keep in mind that I have very high standards and also that the gold I'm aiming to make from these items is to go toward bribing artists that I've already got my eyes on. You can offer, but unless you can turn out work on par with this, you're likely wasting both our time.
