the place to ask questians its the questians and feed back forum and if asking for charity you should go to the charity forum above this.

but you either get them from special events indicated by the eek sign by your profile at the top of the screen and they will be in a box floating across the screen (or in a click here link at the bottom of the page)

You get a giftbox by chance. It is a random event on GAIA that gives you rare/common items.

Friends or even strangers can give you a gift by going into a store, scrolling to the bottom to the spot where it has their inventory and clicking on the item they want to give to you as a gift. A bubble will then pop up giving the option to either sell the item to the store or to gift wrap it. once it is giftwrapped, they only need to open a trade with you.
