- Be nice and respectful. You're welcome to chat and hang out, but don't flame/troll/spam/beg/advertise (without xxxxxxxxxxpermission). Don't stretch the page, create quote towers, or quote posts on the first page. And also, despite the xxxxxxxxxxgirly layout and female bases for the judges/contestants, guys are welcome to enter. o 3o

- Use the forms. I won't accept any contestant/judging entries that aren't in my format. Also, if the contest is started, xxxxxxxxxxI'm not accepting entries, no exceptions.

- Send all trades and PMs to the mule, unless you're told by me to do otherwise. Post all forms and questions in the xxxxxxxxxxthread, although PMs for questions are okay if necessary.

- If you don't send in an entry to the challenge as a contestant, you will automatically be eliminated. If you'll be away at xxxxxxxxxxsome point and can give a reason for being away, I'd be happy to tell you the challenge you'll miss ahead of xxxxxxxxxxtime and let you turn it in early, but you MUST let me know ahead of time.

- What I say goes. I have the right to change/add/remove rules, and to decide who is accepted as a judge/contestant, xxxxxxxxxxas well as who to ban. If you'd like a reason, I'd be happy to give one, though, so feel free to ask!

- After you post the form as a contestant, you can send the trade with 5k any time before all 25 contestants are accepted. I'll xxxxxxxxxxaccept the trade, and then you should accept the trade. I won't finalize the trade until all 25 applications are xxxxxxxxxxaccepted and the season starts.

- Last, but most importantly, don't be a sore loser/winner, and have fun!

[Mule of Paper Hearts]

Paper Hearts is a TekTek contest much like those called "Gaia's Top TekTeker" and the like. The first season was a fairly big sucess, and season two is about to start!

There will be 25 contestants, with an entry fee of 5k per contestant. There will also be three judges - B00kworm equals L0VE, as well as two others that will be selected before the start of the season. There are two rounds of acceptance for the judges and contestants, and once the final ones are chosen, the first challenge will be posted under the front-page post labeled as such.

The contestants will have three days to send in an entry, via PM to the mule, and at the end of the three days there will be a link to the journal entry holding all the entries. The judges will then have three days to send in their scores, also via PM to the mule. At the end of the three days, the challenge post will be updated with the winner, as well as the user(s) who will be out of the contest. The last day will be a break, during which everyone can chat about the challenge and contest, or other random nonsense. Anyone is allowed to chat and hang out in the thread, including those users who are no longer participating in the contest!

At the end of the contest, the winner will be chosen and awarded with 100k, ending the season. But feel free to stick around and chat between season - if we have enough regulars, we may have contests and fun post-season events!

Throughout the season, there may be mini-contests and freebies. There are also various sponsors, who can pay for a spot in the "affiliates" post (but more on that later), or in other places, like sponsoring a challenge or mini-challenge (in which an individual will win a prize of some sort, paid for by the sponsor who will be advertised in the challenge post that week), offering a freebie from a shop, or other various ways to get noticed around here.

All in all, there will be tons of fun, prizes, and lots of tekteking!
