I own a multi-roleplay guild and I have a recruiting thread but that has had no response. Any one have any advice on how do get members to join?

im having the same issue. I have a recruit thread but it doesn't help at all..

the only thing i've found helpful is search the forums for a relative topic to your guild and just let people know about it that way

depending on the populous of your guild I would just take a couple days where all you are doing is inviting random people. That will help bring attention to your guild and a lot of them will actually join!

Go into the RP forums and invite as many people as you can. Make sure you have some interesting and active RPs going on to draw them in. Don't forget to make sure your guild is well laid out and pleasant looking.
Guilds take a lot of work and require a dedicated Captain.

I too have started a new guild and it is quite hard to attract members. I even hired someone to make me a custom banner. I really want it to work but we just started role-playing yesterday and no one who joined has any posts and does not respond to PM's.
