Advice on a new guild

Ok so I noticed that a majority of the RPG Maker or Game Creating guilds die off real quickly. Is it a good idea to start a new one and run it daily, or not?

Absolutely you need to make sure that you put as much in to it as you want to get out of it. You should make sure that you've got a good crew that will take the reins when one of you falls off the wagon.

Since there are virtually thousands of similar guilds already in existence, you would have better luck executing your idea with individuals or an already established collective that share the same ideas and organization as you do. In saying so, you should look into joining an active, organized group rather than wasting your time and energy on building and establishing the grounds for your idea. Instead, find a community that will value and develop ideas collectively, no matter the odds.
