Thanks for showing interesting in Raising the Fighting Spirit(or RFS as we call it). For a quick background of the Guild, it is set in an alternate Naruto universe and has gone through three years of events so far. The timeline began one year before the events in Part One of Naruto and now we are currently set one year after Sasuke has left the Hidden Leaf to join Orochimaru.
What makes the Guild an "Alternate" timeline is that we allow Uchiha ninja to be created(although I keep their numbers few and they must start as Hidden Leaf Genin). Other than that the main plot of Naruto has not been altered as no one is allowed to use any of the signature characters from the show.
However, the Akatsuki Organization has recently been added to the Guild as a 3rd Anniversary surprise. Not saying you get to be Itachi or Hidan, etc but you can create your very own Akatsuki.
As for the Guild itself it has been around since Feb. 9th 2004, but six months ago I decided to re-vamp the entire thing(due to a lot of other Naruto Guilds intentionally stealing our old combat system and I just felt it didn't capture the feel of Naruto anymore). So I overhauled the entire Guild and I can say it's 110% better than it used to be!
